BTS

After Big Hit Entertainment rebranded into HYBE in 2021, the entertainment-lifestyle giant has shared annual updates with the public to share the company’s upcoming path and more into the philosophies guiding them for the next 12 months.

At the 2022 HYBE Briefing With the Community , several top music executives across the company and label partners including founder Bang Si-Hyuk, HYBE CEO Jiwon Park, SB Projects founder Scooter Braun, Big Machine Label Group President & CEO Scott Borchetta, HYBE Labels America VP Daniel Kwon, Interscope Geffen A&M VP of A&R Marketing Charlie Christie and more spoke to where the company was heading. Various HYBE employees, creatives and artists like also shared their experiences in the past year with an emphasis on “coevolution” and learning from one another’s businesses.

“HYBE has to continue creating the best content for fans who are waiting for new releases from their artists,” Bang shared of HYBE’s “ground rule” in quality content before sending a special message to BTS and their fans that “BTS was our starting and driving force and ARMY made all of this possible.”

From BTS to a slew of new artists on their way, HYBE artists are all housed across different labels at the corporation currently consisting of BIGHIT MUSIC, BELIFT LAB, Source Music, PLEDIS Entertainment, KOZ Entertainment, ADOR, HYBE Labels Japan, and HYBE America. With new albums, world tours and debuts on the way, we’ve broken down the big moments on the calendar and what you can expect for the forthcoming months from HYBE.

December 2: RM Solo Album ‘Indigo’

RM

Less than 24 hours after the HYBE Briefing confirmed RM’s solo album was next up in BTS’ line of solo music, BIGHIT MUSIC announced new details about the forthcoming LP.

The label shared that RM’s forthcoming Indigo album will arrive on Dec. 2. According to a press release, “ Indigo recounts the stories and experiences RM has gone through, like a diary. The album will present a different charm of RM with various featured artists.”

The album will be supported by BIGHIT MUSIC as well as Geffen Records and InGrooves.

December 7: &TEAM Debut

&TEAM

HYBE’s first-ever artist based in Japan will come via new boy band &TEAM. The multinational, nine-member team was created from the singing competition  &Audition – The Howling  that featured guest appearances from HYBE artists (like BTS, Zico, SEVENTEEN and ENHYPEN). At the same time, top executives in the company (including Bang Si-Hyuk and Scooter Braun) acted as special advisors and producers in the show.

HYBE CEO Jiwon Park shared during the Briefing that &TEAM will aim “toward the global stage” while based in Japan.

&TEAM will come via HYBE Labels Japan. The label previewed what’s to come in the band’s  “Debut Trailer”  in early November.

December 19: NewJeans Single

NewJeans

One of HYBE’s breakout new artists in 2022, NewJeans were confirmed to release new music and content in the new year. The girl group quickly followed the news with more information, sharing they’d drop a pre-release buzz single on Dec. 19.

The anticipation for this new song will high after NewJeans topped the charts in Korea with “Attention” while “Hype Boy” became a viral dance trend in addition to a hit single. Both tracks entered the top half of the Billboard Global 200 as well.

NewJeans comes via HYBE Label ADOR and is supported by Geffen Records and InGrooves in the U.S.

2022/2023: Hwang Minhyun Solo Album

In March, one of HYBE’s longest-running artists NU’EST (who debuted in 2012 under PLEDIS Entertainment, now a part of the HYBE Labels) announced their disbandment with members Baekho and Hwang Minhyun of the boy band staying under the company for solo careers. The Briefing shared that Minhyun is currently preparing an album, which will be his first full-fledged solo project.

The timeline wasn’t explicitly clear, but only shared that it follows fellow former NU’EST member Baekho, who released his debut solo album in October.

In addition to his time in NU’EST, Minhyun was a member of the temporary but extremely popular boy band Wanna One from 2017 through 2018, and has shared solo songs like “Universe.”

January 2: NewJeans ‘OMG’ EP

NewJeans

After the new song in December, NewJeans will release their  OMG  project just after New Year’s Day. Labeled a “single album,” OMG will likely have three new songs or less, given NewJeans’ first EP included four new songs.

January 2023: TOMORROW X TOGETHER EP

TOMORROW X TOGETHER

TOMORROW X TOGETHER will start 2023 hot with a new EP (or “mini-album,” as it was described in the Briefing) for January. According to a recent press release, TXT will “once again excite the fans with alluring lyrics and a tantalizing melody” on their new music. This will be the group’s fifth mini album to date.

This EP will drop via BIGHIT MUSIC and Republic Records to follow up the quintet’s steady climb up the Billboard 200 after the boy band hit a new peak of No. 4 on the albums chart with their Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child in May. Read more about the EP here .

First Half of 2023: SEVENTEEN Album

SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN will drop a new album in the first half of 2023 ,according to the Briefing. The 13-member boy band earned their first Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 this year, with their  Face the Sun  and  Sector 17  albums peaking at Nos. 7 and 4, respectively.

The top-selling act at HYBE behind BTS,  Face the Sun  surpassed more than two million in global album sales in its first week, which made SEVENTEEN the second artist after BTS to reach such a milestone.

SEVENTEEN is under HYBE Labels’ PLEDIS Entertainment and supported by Geffen Records and InGrooves.

First Half of 2023: ENHYPEN Comeback

ENHYPEN

After ENHYPEN wraps their “Manifesto” world tour, scheduled through early February 2023, HYBE shared that the boy band will return with new music.

Earlier this year, ENHYPEN scored their first Top 10 on the Billboard 200 with  Manifesto: Day 1 , which came via HYBE Label BELFIT LAB with Geffen Records and InGrooves support.

First Half of 2023: fromis_9 Album

The girl group under PLEDIS Entertainment, fromis_9 is confirmed to release a new album in the first half of 2023. This will be the act’s first release as eight members since Jang Gyuri exited the group in July.

Since joining PLEDIS and HYBE, fromis_9 has seen exponential growth in their global album sales and recognition in the K-pop scene. fromis_9 previously reflected with Billboard on their first year under HYBE saying, “We feel very confident now that we’re once again working together with [PLEDIS Entertainment founder] Han Sung Soo, who has been our producer since our debut. We’re also glad that we can introduce our colors variated through diverse genres and concepts.”

First Half of 2023: New BELIFT Lab Artist

HYBE Labels’ BELIFT LAB is currently only home to ENHYPEN, but the boy band will soon have another artist on its roster. HYBE CEO Park Jiwon shared, “We are accelerating preparations for BELFT LAB’s second artist debut. We’re planning our production to go on-air in the first half of next year.”

2023: LE SSERAFIM Asia & North America Tour

LE SSERAFIM

Another new breakout act for HYBE in 2022, girl group LE SSERAFIM will tour across Asia and North America soon. The plan makes sense with the group consisting of members who grew up in South Korea, Japan, and the U.S.

LE SSERAFIM also made their debut on the Billboard 200 this year with their sophomore EP  ANTIFRAGILE  hitting No. 14. The group comes via Source Music with support from Geffen Records and InGrooves.

Ongoing: BTS Solo Activities

In addition to revealing that RM’s solo album was on its way, HYBE CEO Park Jiwon shared that the seven BTS members would continue focusing on themselves for the time being. “BTS, as previously announced, will concentrate on individual activities for the time being,” Park said of RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. “A variety of solo activities are planned for each member. We ask for your attention and support in BTS’ journey ahead.”

Such activities will likely continue beyond music as the past months have seen Jin signing on as the face of and filming a commercial for ramen brand Jin Ramyun, while RM will host a new Korean variety show launching in December.

TBD: New PLEDIS Entertainment Boy Band

It’s already been seven years since PLEDIS Entertainment unleashed SEVENTEEN to the world in 2015 and the label is gearing up for another boy band. After PLEDIS struck gold with SEVENTEEN and NU’EST, anticipation is high to see what the label can do with the support of the HYBE Labels system.

TBD: HYBE x Geffen Records Girl Group

HYBE x Geffen Global Girl Group

While it wasn’t included in CEO Park’s lookahead announcement, a portion of the Briefing shared insight into the forthcoming girl group being put together by HYBE and Geffen Records. Executives from HYBE America and Geffen Interscope A&M spoke about the project that has yet to set a timeline.

“The contestants are from all over the world,” shared a HYBE Labels America’s Training & Development Team representative of the 100,000-plus contestants that auditioned. “The girls are from dozens of different countries. They have different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, nationalities, and I do feel that every girl has her own unique story.”

“A lot of things that I wish I can share right now,” HYBE Labels America VP Daniel Kwon said. “But in due time we’ll make sure we’re making those announcements thoughtfully at the right moment.”

Traveling to Seoul may not be an option right now but you can certainly live vicariously through the fans who’ve visited the BTS museum, HYBE Insight!

As fans of BTS, you probably already know about the newest museum, HYBE Insight, celebrating the world-famous boy band!

Table of Contents

What is HYBE Insight?

HYBE Insight is a multiplex cultural space in the Yongsan district of Seoul commemorating HYBE’s music and artists. It allows visitors to experience music through their five senses by redefining art and music. It takes up the two basement floors of the current HYBE headquarters.

가장 빠르게 HYBE INSIGHT의 소식과 정보를 제공하는 공식 트위터 오픈 🎉 음악의 힘을 믿는 모든 분들을 환영합니다. WE BELIEVE IN MUSIC 👉 https://t.co/T0RGhgvrJ4 #HYBE_INSIGHT #하이브_인사이트 #HYBE뮤지엄 #하이브뮤지엄 pic.twitter.com/ZoDs1Dj9NY — HYBE INSIGHT (@HYBEINSIGHTtwt) June 1, 2021

This visual exhibition of HYBE’s magical as well as musical success is displayed in 5,000 square feet of area and was opened for public view from 14 May 2020. The exhibit emphasizes the company’s mission statement – “We Believe In Music.”

A similar project was taken up by SM Town, one of the biggest entertainment companies in the Korean music industry, to promote K-pop and its artists in 2018. This project led to opening of the SM Town Museum at COEX Atrium in Gangnam district, which is very popular among the youths.

HYBE Insight’s Interiors

HYBE Insight is majorly sectioned into three key spaces – sound, movement, and story. As you first walk in, you will notice the music. That is where they started off initially, and their focus and priority remain the same despite their transformation of entertainment to the platform.

Sound Layer

“Sound Layer” is the most attractive section as it allows the visitors to listen to a particular song in different layers of sound. It is famous among the BTS fandom, who line up to listen to “Fake Love” by global artists.

Dynamic Movement

In the middle of the second floor is the “Dynamic Movement,” where choreographed moves are portrayed to express music and communicate with the public. Choreographies of K-pop groups like BTS, GFRIEND, and NU’EST are reconstructed and displayed on surround screens.

Inspiring Story

The “Inspiring Story” section holds up interviews with artists on their mindset and thoughts about the lyrics of their songs. There are 3D maps and pop-up books, but they fail to convey the overwhelming and mesmerizing energy that the various artists directly convey under the label.

The two separate sections of the museum are connected by the display of HYBE history and trophies placed on a twenty-eight-foot pedestal. HYBE artists’ costumes, accessories, and souvenirs are also put up at the display. The other section begins with the display of “Seven Phases,” an art piece by James Jean. It is followed by another art piece named “Garden,” which was inspired by the lyrics – “A flower resembling you that bloomed in the garden of loneliness” from the song “The Truth Untold.”

The “Resonance” section is a soundproof space allowing us to immerse ourselves into surrounding music and sound. It is meant to help us to appreciate the power and meaning of music by experiencing in a completely silent atmosphere with just the sound of our own breathing. The two-hour tour ends with a ten-minute interview video of artists called “Music is My Life.” They talk about their stories, music perspectives, and a message on the wall, “Imagine A World Without Music!”

hybe building tour 2023

This exhibit allows us to enjoy music with a wider sense and density, serving as a paradise for BTS fans, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, and many more. It provides the visitors a closer look into how artists under HYBE Labels create and perform their music.

Fans can use their full senses to experience the communication, inspiration, and resonate through this project. It teaches us that music has grown and brought us together. Any number of hours tour will feel short when it comes to exploring the wonderful space of HYBE Insight. Visiting HYBE Insight is highly recommended for all K-pop fans and thosewho wish to dive into the world of K-Pop.

Lockers are also available for visitors who would like to store their belongings during their visit.

The entrance to HYBE Insight museum

Let's start our tour!

Help desk at museum, employees waiting to help visitors

If you bought a photo ticket like we did, you can pick it up here.

Image of QR code for admission to museum

We made sure to have our QR Key via the HYBE Insight app ready to scan.

Photo tickets for the museum

When you purchase your ticket via the HYBE Insight app, you can pick from an array of photo tickets available.

We were so glad that we got these!

Aren't they so cute?!

Museum employee greeting visitors

After picking up our photo tickets, we made our way to the waiting area.

A staff member welcomed us and explained to us how to access the museum.

They also shared with us that filming inside the museum was not allowed and that we could only take pictures in specified areas.

Screenshot of notification letting visitor know that they can enter the museum

Afterwards, we received a notification from our HYBE Insight app letting us know that we could enter the museum.

Visitors waiting in line to enter museum

The staff asked us to line up in groups and gave each group member a specific colored bag.

We got dark purple!

In case we got separated from our group, we could easily spot other members from our group and join them again.

Screenshot from app of museum layout

There is a map of the museum available on the HYBE Insight app.

There are also physical maps posted all over the museum in English, so feel free to get lost and explore.

Screenshot of art installation from first floor of museum

Since we weren't allowed to take pictures on the first floor, we'll show you footage from the HYBE Insight app and HYBE's social media accounts.

Screenshot from app of different audio guides available to visitors

Be sure to bring your earphones because on the Docent mode in the app, you can listen to your favorite HYBE artist's description of each zone.

We picked RM from BTS!

Image of one of the areas of the museum

In Talkback and Finding Sound, we learned more about the artists and their process for making music.

These zones covered this entire process and gave us insight into how artists and producers work together to create music.

Visitor interacting with screen from exhibition

In Studio 360, we explored what the studios of famous producers such as Pdogg and Bumzu look like.

Images of recording studio

We also got a 360 view of the working spaces of RM, Suga, and JHope from BTS.

We were able to experience these studios in a such a real and dynamic way.

It was fun to see not only all the toys and trinkets in these spaces but also the different types of instruments used to make music.

For anyone who's curious about what HYBE's studios are like, Studio 360 is a must.

Area of museum that explores sound layering

This is the Sound Layers zone.

This zone is really cool because you can listen to every vocal and instrumental layer of a song separately.

We really got an understanding of how songs are made and recorded.

Stillshots of three video art installations

These zones, Moving Body and In Motion, were our favorites.

The videos here gave us a clear view of each dance step that HYBE artists take to create their unique and dynamic choreography.

Video art installation consisting of multiple smaller images

Because there is no music or special effects accompanying the videos, you can really focus in on the artists' dancing.

We could really see how each artist has their own style when it comes to dancing and interpreting the choreography.

Entrance to exhibition area featuring collage of props

We think that HYBE fans will really enjoy this zone, Inspiring Story.

Whenever a new song by your favorite artist comes out, do you wonder what the inspiration behind this song is or start analyzing its connection to previous songs?

This zone will answer all of these wonderings.

These giant storyboards gave us a detailed look into what inspires the artists when creating music.

Visitor interacting with exhibition by turning a crank

There are various installations that you can engage with and look at.

Image of television screens with telephones attached to them

For anyone who loves to hear directly from the artists, the Between the Lines zone is a must!

We listened to interviews with our favorite artists via telephones.

It felt like we were just having a conversation with them on the phone !

Members of BTS at a dance practice

In the Behind the Sweat zone, we got a front row seat to the artists' dance practices.

We could really see how hard artists work to perfect their dancing and bring the choreography to life.

Display of bejeweled microphones

We got to see the different mics that our favorite artists use when they perform live.

We loved how bright and unique each of these mics were.

Image of large movie screen opening to another room

Afterwards, a staff member asked the visitors to gather in front of a giant screen that showed videos of ENHYPEN.

The screen then split in two and opened into the next zone, Story.

It was so cool!

Image of display to used to introduce another area of museum

This is considered the ultimate highlight of the museum.

The story of HYBE and its artists is told here.

Display case featuring music awards

We were so moved by this particular installation.

It showcased all of the awards HYBE and its artists have won.

It was really touching, especially when we saw the Billboard Music Awards!

Members of BTS standing in front of display case

Photos aren't allowed to be taken in this zone.

But we wanted to show you some pics of BTS posing in front of this installation.

You can see just how big this installation is!

Visitor taking a picture in front of mirror

We finally made it to the designated areas where we could take pictures!

Please keep in mind that you can only take photos in these areas; video recording isn't allowed.

Exhibition of painting and drawings by James Jean

This a special exhibition of paintings called Seven Phases by James Jean.

RM of BTS is a fan of James Jean's work, and these paintings were inspired by BTS and their music.

There is a even a painting based on RM's song, "moonchild."

More bright and colorful paintings on display

All of the pieces were vibrant and full of color.

We thought that the artist captured the spirit of BTS in a dreamy and playful way.

Visitor watching video about the exhibition

You can watch an interview with James Jean regarding his process in creating these pieces.

This exhibition will be available until November 14, 2021.

Visitors looking at exhibition that features different collages

After Seven Phases, we ventured on to Ways of Listening.

Visitor engaging with augmented reality game on phone

There is an augmented reality (AR) game that you can play in this zone via the HYBE Insight app.

If you find all of the treasures, you'll get a prize, so everyone was super focused on winning the game .

Visitor finding one of the clues for augmented reality game via their phone

It's really easy to play.

Each item that you need to find has a clue.

You just follow the clue, and once you find it, you use the app to "collect" these items.

Make sure you find each clue quickly though because there is a time limit!

Informational board describing the area of exhibition that features collages of different Kpop artists

After playing the game, be sure to check out Story Collage.

These collages capture of the essence of each artist and the different album concepts they've had over the years.

Collage that features Kpop artists

Looking at these collages reminded us of the first Kpop albums that we ever bought.

Exhibition of museum that features interactive screens

This part of the exhibit is called Beat Challenge, and it's really fun and interactive.

You have to match the beat to the songs on display.

Exhibition featuring various screens for visitors to interact with

We totally nailed this!

Large screen featuring music from Boy with Luv by BTS

This game is similar to playing Superstar on your phone, but there is a big screen across from you and five smaller screens in front of you.

Screenshot of how visitor score of following along to beat of featured song

After we finished the challenge, our score came up on the big screen.

Our score was actually pretty low. Haha!

We still had fun playing this.

Two video installations from museum exhibition

There were video installations to check out as well.

They even told you the perfect place to stand to maximize this experience!

Statue of sound wave

This statue resembles the shape of a sound wave.

Be sure to take a picture here like Suga and Jimin did.

We tried to recreate their picture!

Museum exhibition featuring a hanging garden

This zone is where we can feel the music through our five senses.

For Jungkook's "Euphoria", the scent of fresh flowers filled this area.

Costumes worn by Kpop artists on display

Here you can see performance outfits worn by the artists.

We were so stoked to see this outfit worn by BTS!

Display of jewelry worn by Kpop artists for performances

Rings worn by SEVENTEEN were on display here.

We thought this was such a cool way to display these rings.

Display of costumes worn by Kpop group NU'EST for a performance

These are performance outfits worn by NU'EST for "I'm in Trouble."

We loved being able to see the details of these outfits up close.

Collage of newspaper and magazine articles featuring Kpop group BTS on display

Various news and magazine articles written about HYBE artists are on display here, too.

Visitors sitting in room that plays music videos of various Kpop artists

In this room, Sound and Image, you can watch music videos of different artists.

The sound quality in this room was really nice.

Informational panel introducing new area of museum

In Let's Move, you can experience songs through physical movement.

Visitor interacting with video exhibition

After the song is over, you can send a video of this experience to yourself as a souvenir.

All you need to do is scan the QR code available in this zone.

Gallery of portraits of members of BTS

This next area, Face of Music, is where we could see images of the artists at HYBE.

We found the inspiration for our photo ticket of RM!

Gallery of portraits of Kpop artists

All the images on display in this area were beautiful.

It was so much fun looking at all of these photos from different angles.

Member of BTS posing in front of exhibition area of museum

Storytelling Diorama is another fun zone.

We watched scenes from music videos and learned more about the details of these scenes.

Entrance to another exhibition at museum featuring soundproofing equipment

This zone, Silence, was inspired by the soundproofing equipment that keeps outside noise from coming into a studio.

This equipment also helps magnify any sound that is created inside a recording studio.

Image of video featuring Kpop group BTS being projected on three walls

This is the final room, where a video was projected onto three of its walls.

There was a socially distance seat for each visitor.

Visitors sitting on seat cushions in screening room

This video showed interviews with artists about their journey in becoming Kpop idols.

They shared moments of hardship, stress, and happiness.

We were incredibly moved by each artist's personal story.

This really made us appreciate that much more the incredible work these artists put into creating music.

Large display case of albums released by Kpop artists

After the video, we made our way to an area that showcased every album ever released by a HYBE artist.

Album by Kpop group BTS on display

Be sure to take a photo in front of your favorite artist's album!

Visitors growing at museum gift shop

And now for the HYBE Insight shop!

Kiosk where visitors can redeem their prize from augmented reality game

Don't forget to collect your prize from the AR game!

Just scan the QR code at the AR Together Rewards kiosk.

We got HYBE bracelets!

Albums available for sale in museum gift shop

Here is some of the merchandise, which includes photo cards, postcards, posters.

It all looked amazing!

Clothing and bags on sale at museum gift shop

There was HYBE gear available, too, like t-shirts, hoodies, and cross bags.

Various phone accessories on sale at museum gift shop

There was also HYBE stationery and phone accessories on sale.

You could also purchase the Euphoria scent.

Image of shopping area at museum gift shop

What an amazing idea!

Eggs tarts were available for purchase.

You can buy four for 9,800 KRW.

There were three flavors: original, apple cinnamon, and red bean and walnut.

Vending machine of beverages available for purchase

Drinks were also available for purchase.

We got Sound Herb and Pop Grey, which were both teas.

Sound Herb was fruity while Pop Grey was sweet.

Lounge area of museum where visitors can take pictures

After getting your shopping on, don't miss the Life Goes On Lounge.

This space is a snapshot from a scene in the "Life Goes On" music video by BTS.

Visitors shown exiting the museum

This is where you can exit the museum.

Just use scan your QR code to open the gate.

We were so sad to go!

Entrance for HYBE Insight building

We were so impressed with HYBE Insight!

So much work went into creating this space, and we appreciated the incredible care and energy that went into every detail.

Please note that all of the signs and explanations in the museum are available in both Korean and English.

If you a HYBE fan, then HYBE Insight in Seoul is a must for you!

Unforgettable Time at the BTS (Hybe) Museum!

  • November 14, 2021
  • , Trip Report

The day has finally arrived! We managed to explore the famous Hybe Museum! It was an unforgettable and stunning experience. The museum gives you an inside peek into the producers’ music editing process, exclusive interviews with the idols, breathtaking artwork, and a variety of interactive features. This was the perfect place for my music or k-pop lovers out there! We left feeling inspired, emotional, and eager to go back.

The museum is on the side of the main Hybe building, but you definitely won’t miss it! Show your QR code to the security guard and put your coat/purse in the locker room. Make sure to do the check-in before you arrive. Then head inside! The Hybe Insight app lets you listen to an idol of your choice narrate certain parts of the museum. Don’t worry, they have English subtitles too!!

Hybe Museum 001

You are not allowed to take photos on the first floor, but you will discover some unique parts of music-making! It was an incredible moment that I would not want to spoil for anyone.

I wish I came earlier so I could explore everything on the first level, it was so inspiring! Once we went to the other room we were able to take some pictures of the breathtaking paintings!

Hybe Museum 002

The story behind the paintings was incredible and the pictures just don’t do them justice! James Jean, the artist, made some incredible paintings for BTS called the Seven Phases. Honestly, this was one of my favorite parts of the museum. Each painting has a different meaning dedicated to the members, which was really interesting.

Hybe Museum 004

We entered the Scent of Sound exhibition after seeing the amazing artwork. The scents and flowers change with the seasons! This section of the museum provided a one-of-a-kind experience. It’s absolutely something you can only appreciate in person.

Hybe Museum 005

Of course, there was a whole area dedicated to pictures, outfits, and special memories for the idols. It was so cool to see many iconic outfits, photos, trophies, and moments! They have a section dedicated to the western achievements BTS has, Yoongi’s guitar is actually displayed here!

Hybe Museum 006

We then moved into this amazing sound room and played a game using the Hybe app. If you win you get a prize at the end! I didn’t win in time, but the staff was so nice, they gave me a prize anyways. There were also some wave structures in this area. If you touch them, you will get to feel the vibrations of music.

Hybe Museum 007

We made it to the last room (crying T.T ) ! The room was completely soundproof and the lights made you feel transported into a different world.

After walking through all the special exhibitions, our last stop was the gift shop! I picked up my prize and just had to buy a few souvenirs.

There were so many additional rooms and interactions I had throughout my visit to the museum, but you have to see it for yourself if you’re interested! It was well worth the $21 and delivered a very memorable experience. I recommend this to all my k-pop fans out there, but even if you are not a fan, this museum was so interactive and special!

Information about the Hybe Museum: Official website > https://hybeinsight.com/ < and make an account! Location: Seoul, Yongsan-gu, Hangangno 3(sam)-ga, Hangang-daero, 42 HYBE INSIGHT Ticket cost: 22,000won ($20 USD) regular price                       25,000won ($21 USD) includes custom photo card

Shocking List Of Injured HYBE Idols Sparks Major Criticism

hybe building tour 2023

An influx of HYBE idols with injuries sparks criticism.

8838b85fcc969db35a2b04ca480cdde0

It was recently announced that Jay had a knee injury, and for their Japan show, he would be sitting out of the sound check and only participating in the show by sitting on a chair. Netizens hit back at BELIFT LAB after accusing them of not prioritizing their artists’ health, especially as Jay’s injury has been present since the end of 2023.

This rly isn't funny, I need @BELIFTLAB to take this seriously. "Our artists' health is our top priority" when said artist has endured knee pain for a year now–every single leg of the tour that's been going on forever. How many wv notices are u gonna release before u wake tf up? — jay 💌 (@jongseongsjay) June 27, 2024

As if that wasn’t enough, fans noticed that Jake was bandaged up during the recent ENHYPEN shows. While it could be wear and tear, netizens have noticed it for a while and should be given time to recover.

After photos and news of injuries were posted, netizens raised their anger after a long list of HYBE artists have had to take time off or are currently off due to injuries. As of June 28, the list of HYBE idols taking time out due to injury includes Jay, TXT ‘s Beomgyu (ankle injury), ILLIT ‘s Wonhee (ankle injury), NewJeans ‘ Hyein (foot injury), and also Katseye ‘s Daniela.

When netizens noticed the trend, they voiced anger and concern for the idols under the company as the idols have such strict and tiring schedules.

This is so alarming because members from 5 different hybe groups (including jay) have been injured recently and have been overworked for months. hybe always says "We will put the artist's health first" BUT THIS KEEPS ON HAPPENING. can that label practice what they preach. — Lyn☀️❄️ ⨾ fan (@enhalynnie) June 27, 2024
many hybe artists are on medical injury rn… theyre fcking overworked literally all of them😞 — sa 🗝️ (@jeongsaengieee) June 27, 2024
Beomgyu from TXT Hyein from Newjeans Wonhee from illit Daniela from katseye Jay from Enhypen all of them injured. Seriously, Hybe should stop overworking the artists. https://t.co/5SeLdCNCX9 — 𓅪 (@oh_mybear) June 27, 2024
the fuck is going on in hybe's building… why is everyone and their mama have ankle injuries pic.twitter.com/bzlmOzSAcQ — azy 🧸ྀི (@izaellit) June 27, 2024

Along with the names mentioned who are currently injured, SEVENTEEN has seen a number of members having to take time off or take a step back on stage due to injury, including S.Coups , Jeonghan, and The8.

While injuries are common among idols, netizens find it shocking that there are so many within one company and that they’re all related to the legs.

“It’s a Mural of the Great People Who Built the Building” – BTS’ Mural at HYBE’s Building Receives Overwhelming Support From Korean Fans

On June 9th, a netizen took photos of HYBE’s building showing a man painting something which turned out to be a mural dedicated to BTS .

OMFG THEY'RE PAINTING A BTS MURAL OUTSIDE HYBE RIGHT NOW 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/t9H1zXLrRP — 잏슿 (@ishyungshi) June 9, 2023

To prepare for the group's 10th anniversary, BTS members took it upon themselves to think of a way how they can make their annual BTS Festa even more special. BTS' RM suggested that they should have a mural in a place that's meaningful for them and they chose the best one, their home, the HYBE building.

Korean netizens commented:

  • Yes... I need to know the faces of the people who built the building... I know everyone
  • They don't even say "Let's be good to ARMY"
  • A bulletproof mural in a building built by Bangtan... awesome lol
  • please draw well
  • Let's be good to ARMYs, Namjoon said to add this too!!!
  • Build a statue, not a mural...Even though you come and go, people can appreciate every day why can they live in a good building without worrying about debt.
  • It's not just an office building with Bangtan, there are many other artists, so that's a bit... If you want to draw, draw other artists too
  • keep in mind
  • In the last photo, looking at the completed Namjoon, it seems like he is good at drawing.
  • Wow, I'll have to go see it when I'm done
  • It's a mural of the great people who built the building.
  • Wow, I was thinking about where to draw, but the HYBE office building is a cool choice hahaha
  • I'm looking forward to it

Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde are co-hosting this year's "CMA Fest" special.

The "Need a Favor" singer said working with McBryde is like working with a "cousin" -- but not just any cousin.

Jelly Roll talks fatherhood, building a 'proper home' with wife Bunnie XO

"Like one of them reckless, wild cousins that you love being around but you know they're going to be absolutely crazy," he joked, adding that that's what "every moment" the two shared is like.

McBryde agreed, saying she is "definitely the peanut butter to his jelly."

"I knew us being buds and writing a little bit together, that we were going to be fine bantering back and forth," the "Girl Goin' Nowhere" singer said. "I didn't know that we were going to have to rein it in so much, because we will just sit there and talk to each other and forget that there's something that we're supposed to be doing."

"So the jokes are off the cuff," McBryde continued, adding that it was an "absolutely wonderful" experience.

Who is performing during 'CMA Fest'?

Fans can expect 30 performances from some of the biggest names in country music -- and the night's hosts -- during the special.
