Comedian Ricky Gervais on Thursday announced “Ricky Gervais: Mortality “,” a tour he’ll head out on later this year, which will run through the end of 2025 and culminate in a new special for Netflix.

In a statement on his new tour, Gervais said, “We’re all gonna die. May as well have a laugh about it. Mortality looks at the absurdities of life. And death. Bring it on.”

The winner of four Golden Globes, two Emmys and seven BAFTAs, Gervais is one of the most influential British comedians still working. Previously creating and starring in the acclaimed series After Life for Netflix, he’s also the creator and star of comedies Extras and Derek and the original UK version of The Office .

Known for his biting humor and sharp social commentary, Gervais has hosted the Golden Globes awards five times, most recently in 2020. Other past comedy specials from him include Ricky Gervais: Out of England 1 & 2 , Fame , Politics , and Animals . As an actor, he’s also been seen in multiple Night at the Museum films, as well as Muppets Most Wanted , Cemetery Junction , The Invention of Lying , Ghost Town and other titles.

Gervais is repped by United Agents, WME, MHA Management, and Nelson Davis.

Janet Jackson tour 2024: How to get tickets to see her in N.J. and NYC under $20

I will always try to secure Janet Jackson concert tickets, “Any Time, Any Place”.

While on her extended “Together Again” tour, Jackson will perform at the Prudential Center in Newark on July 9 and at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on July 10 .

Jackson’s tour began on June 4 in Palm Desert, Calif. and will wrap up on July 30 in Phoenix .

Nelly will be a special guest for the New Jersey and New York concerts and the duration of the “Together Again” tour.

The “Together Again” tour will celebrate her 50th anniversary in the entertainment industry and spotlight three of Jackson’s critically acclaimed albums: “The Velvet Rope,” “janet” and “Rhythm Nation.”

Tickets for Jackson’s tour are available on secondary market websites, such as Vivid Seats , StubHub , TicketCity , SeatGeek and Ticketmaster .

The cheapest ticket available at the time of publication for her Prudential Center concert, before fees, is $15 on StubHub .

For her Barclays Center concert in New York, the cheapest ticket available at the time of publication before fees is $45 on StubHub .

Brittany Mahomes made sure Travis Kelce was doing OK after he appeared to get emotional during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Amsterdam.

In video captured by a concertgoer Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs star seemingly wiped away tears as Swift sang a special mashup of songs seemingly all dedicated to him.

During the sweet moment, Mahomes, 28, is seen walking over and speaking to Kelce, 34, as he wipes his face and nods.

While it’s not clear what was said, several fans took to the comments section to praise Mahomes for going over to seemingly make sure the tight end was fine.

“I love the way Brittany Mahomes checked in with him – it was a little mom moment,” one fan wrote.

Another added , “I started to tear up when I saw him crying but when Brittany went over to check on him that absolutely did me in 😭.”

During her final show in the Netherlands, Swift, 34, sang “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” from her 2006 self-titled debut album for the first time in nearly 16 years.

One of the lyrics from the older tune, “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89,” has taken on a new meaning since she started dating Kelce, whose Chiefs jersey number is 87. (She was born in 1989.)

She then launched into “So High School” from her latest record, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which is purportedly about Kelce .

Finally, she ended the sweet serenade with “Everything Has Changed” from 2012’s “Red,” which is about meeting someone who changes your perspective on love.

At the end of the concert, Kelce — who is getting ready to celebrate his one-year anniversary with the singer — was seen exiting the stage with Swift and proudly hyping up the crowd for his girlfriend as they left.

Brittany and her husband, Patrick Mahomes, flew in from London , where they’ve been vacationing, to attend Saturday’s show with Kelce.

The couple was spotted cozying up to each other as Swift sang her hit song “Lover” earlier in the evening.

Kelce, meanwhile, flew in the day before and was spotted giving Swift a sweet kiss on the head as they left her show together on Friday night.

Swift has a few days off before she heads to Zürich, Switzerland, for two shows and then jets off to Milan, Italy.

It’s unclear if Kelce will travel with her during those shows, but he did stun fans in London last month when he made a cameo on stage during her show.

He later teased on his “New Heights” podcast that he could pop up again .

2024 French legislative elections: Results of the second round

Election results show French voters have chosen to give a broad leftist coalition the most parliamentary seats in pivotal legislative elections, keeping the far right away from power. According to the official results released early Monday, all three main blocs fell far short of the 289 seats needed to control the 577-seat National Assembly. The results showed just over 180 seats for the New Popular Front leftist coalition, which placed first, ahead of Macron ’s centrist alliance, with more than 160 seats. Marine Le Pen ’s far-right National Rally and its allies were restricted to third place, although their more than 140 seats were still way ahead of the party’s previous best showing — 89 seats in 2022.
