GRAMMY nominated recording artist  Jeremy Camp  announces his “Deeper Waters” Tour, a 17-date run that will stop in Los Angeles Phoenix, Dallas, and more. This show will include performances of songs from his recent No. 1 album ‘Deeper Waters,’ as well as many of his familiar hits that have garnered him multiple artist of the year nods and even an artist of the decade top contender spot.

Joseph O’Brien is opening on the “Deeper Waters” Tour. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Mon., July 15th and more information can be found at jeremycamp.com. 

In addition to the tour, Camp recently notched his 44th No. 1 single with “These Days.” The living-in-the-moment anthemic track was the lead single off of his album ‘Deeper Waters’ which also topped the Billboard Top 200 Christian chart upon its release. Released Fri., May 18 via Capitol CMG, ‘Deeper Waters’ marked Camp’s highest album streaming debut of his marquee career.

I Had a great time at the concert. Jeremy gave an outstanding performance not just with his music and voice but his preaching reached my heart and got even even closer to the Lord. I was filled with compassion and love for the Lord and my for fellow Christians and people in general. Would love to see him again in the near future.

The show last night was awesome! I was with a small group from my church and we all had a great time worshipping with everyone! But when Jeremy came on stage he was so full of energy and looked fabulous! I for one couldn't get over his physique! He is in fantastic shape! He did all of my favorites. God saved my life 2/19/17 I was dying of liver disease & God made it possible for me to get a transplant-even the doctors didn't expect me to survive the operation, but Our Wonderful Father God had a different plan and now I am evangelising to every one I meet.

I had never heard of Jeremy Camp before. My boyfriend suggested that we go. I am so glad we did. The venue was a little smaller than I am used to but then again, it was my first time going to a church for a concert. The set was amazing! I give kudos to his light and tech staff. The stage was set up with ample view of everything going on. It was nice to see his band on the big screen too. It was a great show!

Jeremy Thomas Camp (born January 12, 1978) is an American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter from Lafayette, Indiana. Camp has released eleven albums, four of them RIAA-certified as Gold, and two live albums. His original music is a mixture of ballads and up-tempo songs with rock influence. Camp has won five GMA Dove Awards, has been nominated for three American Music Awards, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album in 2010 for his album, Speaking Louder Than Before.

NASHVILLE, TN (June 15, 2023) After a highly successful spring and fall 2022 tour, Premier Productions has announced that Jeremy Camp will extend his I Still Believe Tour into the Fall for a 15-city tour across Canada and the US. The I Still Believe Tour, named after the hit song, will feature all of Camp’s top hits. Joined by the incredible Patrick Mayberry , the I Still Believe Tour will kick off Friday, September 8 in Camp Hill, PA.

“To say I am excited to be coming to Canada would be an understatement! We have been wanting to get back up there for such a long time and now it is finally happening! We are super expectant for what God has in store and can’t wait to finally be with all my Canadian friends!!”

Dove-winning artist Jeremy Camp has announced a fall 2024 tour across America supporting his newest album 'Deeper Waters' . The month-long campaign kicks off September 6th in New Haven and runs into October hitting other cities like St. Louis, Arlington, Colorado Springs, Albuquerque and Los Angeles. Joining the tour in support will be special guest Joseph O'Brien. Prior to the tour, the singer will be making an appearance at OneFest along with Anne Wilson , EVAN CRAFT , Stephen McWhirter and Honor & Glory.

Camp released his 15th studio album 'Deeper Waters' on May 17th, 2024 via Sparrow Records. His previous 2021 album 'When You Speak' includes the single 'Getting Started' which reached #1 on Billboard's Christian Airplay chart. The following year, the singer-songwriter launched his I Still Believe Tour which stretched into 2023 and was joined by Riley Clemmons , Jordan St. Cyr and Patrick Mayberry. ABOUT JEREMY CAMP:

Jeremy Camp, a multi-award winning Christian vocalist and guitarist, was born on January 12, 1978 in Lafayette, Indiana. His thoughtful lyrics and booming voice have earned him legions of fans and accolades including 16 No. 1 songs, five Dove Awards, three ASCAP Songwriter of the Year wins and an American Music Award nomination. Before his music career began, his father (a pastor at Harvest Chapel church in Lafayette) taught his son how to play guitar. After completing high school, Camp attended a bible college in Southern California for two years.

Camp was raised in a Christian home and drew musical inspiration from worship music and secular tunes alike. Touchstone albums in his artistic development include U2’s The Joshua Tree, Delirious?’ King of Fools , Jars Of Clay’s debut album, Jars of Clay, and Steven Curtis Chapman’s The Great Adventure.

When one of the worship leaders at the school heard Camp playing with some friends at his dormitory, he urged him to become involved with their music ministry program, and soon he was performing at Christian music events all over California, recording a self-released disc called Burden Me in 2000.

At one such appearance, Camp met a young woman named Melissa, and the two struck up a friendship that blossomed into a romance. When Melissa broke off the relationship after a few months, Camp was crushed, but when he next saw her, her life had taken a serious turn — she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was in the hospital. When Melissa went into remission, Camp married her, but after their honeymoon, they discovered the cancer had returned, and in early 2001 she passed on; she was only 21.

Camp poured both his sorrow and the faith that helped see him through into his music, and in 2002 he was signed to BEC Recordings, who released his first nationally distributed album, Stay; it was both a critical and commercial success, and five songs from the disc reached the top of the Christian singles chart. While touring in support of Stay, Camp met singer Adrienne Leisching, former singer with the Benjamin Gate; the two hit it off, and in 2003 they were married, and have since been blessed with two daughters.

In 2004, Camp released his second album for BEC, Carried Me: The Worship Project, which matched the gold record success of Stay, and Camp won two Dove Award trophies for Best Male Vocalist and Best New Artist. In 2005, Camp released two albums — a studio set, Restored, which rose to number 45 on the Billboard Top Albums chart and spawned three number one Christian singles, and a live disc, Live Unplugged from Franklin TN. Camp also recorded the song “Open Up Your Eyes” for the soundtrack of the hit film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which earned him another Dove Award. The fall of 2006 brought another studio set from Camp, Beyond Measure, which reached number 29 on the Billboard charts and produced two more hit singles.

Speaking Louder than Before, his sixth album, was released on November 25, 2008.

The Way Songfacts reports that his seventh album, We Cry Out: The Worship Project , was released on August 24, 2010, and peaked at #1 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart.

KJ Apa stars as Jeremy Camp in the film "I Still Believe."

KJ Apa fans will be flocking to theaters this month to see the popular “Riverdale” star in “I Still Believe.”

Many of them will likely buy their tickets without knowing much — if anything at all — about Jeremy Camp, who is the real-life Christian music artist that Apa portrays in the film.

And that’s perfectly OK.

You don’t have to know anything in advance about Camp to enjoy this wonderfully romantic tearjerker, which also stars Britt Robertson, Melissa Roxburgh, Nathan Dean, Shania Twain and Gary Sinise.

I was fortunate enough to attend an advance screening of the film and can attest that Jon and Andrew Erwin – the same sibling director team behind the 2018 film “I Can Only Imagine,” about MercyMe singer Bart Millard — do a great job in bringing this story to the screen.

Still, I think those who have a little bit of background with Camp will get even more out of this film, which opens March 13 in theaters nationwide.

So, to bring some of the uninitiated up to speed, I’ve come up with a short primer about the “I Still Believe” singer. Think of it as Jeremy Camp 101 or, perhaps, the Jeremy Camp boot camp.

And I’ll do my best to stay away from any potential spoilers here, knowing that many viewers will be learning the details about this stirring love story for the first time when they see “I Still Believe.”

Camp in one sentence:

Camp is a 42-year-old singer-songwriter-guitarist from Lafayette, Indiana, who has been a major force on the contemporary Christian music scene ever since the early 2000s.

Out of the gate:

Camp achieved big success with his very first major-label offering, 2002’s “Stay,” which followed the independently released “Burden Me” in 2000.

That major-label debut featured three big singles — “Right Here,” “Walk by Faith” and, the new biopic’s namesake, “I Still Believe.”

The album eventually went gold, the first of four consecutive Camp offerings to achieve that certification.

Camp’s biggest hits:

His best-known offerings include the chart-toppers “Walk by Faith,” “Take You Back,” “This Man,” “Let It Fade,” “There Will Be a Day” and “The Way.” Listen to those six songs, plus “I Still Believe,” if you want to get a sense of Camp’s songbook before heading to see “I Still Believe.”

Camp by the numbers:

He’s sold more than 4 million albums, resulting in five gold certifications and one platinum plaque. He also has one multi-platinum-selling DVD, “Live Unplugged.” Yet, arguably his most impressive stat is that he’s landed 37 No. 1 radio hits during his career.

Plus the Doves:

Camp has won five Dove Awards, which are the equivalent of the Grammys in the Christian music world. He took home the new artist of the year trophy in 2004 as well as back-to-back male vocalist of the year awards in 2004 and 2005.

His latest album:

Camp’s most recent release is “The Story’s Not Over,” which hit stores in September.

“From ‘Dead Man Walking’ to the title-track, ‘The Story’s Not Over,’ these songs have been written through a season of hardship, but also are a reflection back on God’s faithfulness through all I’ve been through over the years,” Camp says on his website. “Our perspective can make or break us, and it’s so important to remember God’s goodness in the midst of those hard times.”

Musician and minister:

He studied theology at Southern California’s Calvary Chapel Bible College in the ‘90’s and is an ordained minister. He considers himself “a minister who happens to play music as a way to minister,” according to his website.

The story of “I Still Believe”:

I want to give away as little as possible about the film, so I’ll just borrow from its official website and say that it’s “the true life story of Christian music mega star Jeremy Camp and his remarkable journey of love and loss that proves there is always hope in midst of tragedy and that faith tested is the only faith worth sharing.”

Oh, and I will add one thing: Bring a box of Kleenex with you to the theater.

Dive into Camp’s 2013 memoir, “I Still Believe,” which has recently been revised and re-released in an expanded format, featuring a foreword by Bart Millard, three new chapters and more.

Jim Harbaugh Spoke to Colin Kaepernick About Joining the Chargers

With new head coach Jim Harbaugh at the helm, things are rapidly changing for the Los Angeles Chargers. Now, it appears they could possibly change even more.

During an interview after training camp last week, Harbaugh revealed that he had asked former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick at the beginning of the year to join the Chargers as a non-player. However, there was no further news on the topic.

“Yeah, we talked a little bit about it,” Harbaugh said. “He’s considering it. He was out of the country. He said he was going to get back to me. We haven’t reconnected since then. That was early, early in the year.”

While this already provided some intrigue, things got more interesting when Harbaugh admitted to Jarrett Bell of USA TODAY Sports that he wants Kaepernick as a member of his coaching staff.

“If that was ever the path he was to take, I think that would be tremendous,” Harbaugh said. “He’d be a tremendous coach if that’s the path he chose.”

While it would be great to see Harbaugh and Kaepernick reunite, that may not be what the talented QB wants. In a recent interview with Sky Sports , Kaepernick revealed that he still wants to return to the National Football League as a player, not a coach.

“We’re still training, still pushing,” Kaepernick said. “So, hopefully. We’ve just got to get one of these team owners to open up.”

It has been eight years since Kaepernick played in the NFL.

Picked 36th overall by the 49ers in the 2011 NFL Draft, Kaepernick made his debut as starting quarterback on Nov. 19, 2012 against the Chicago Bears.

Soon afterward, he and Harbaugh would lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl, their first appearance in eight years, losing to the Baltimore Ravens. They would make a return to the NFC Championship Game in 2014 but would lose to the Seattle Seahawks.

Harbaugh would leave the 49ers organization after the 2014 regular season. Kaepernick would follow a few years later in a more controversial fashion.

During the 2016 preseason, Kaepernick did not stand during the National Anthem as a way to protest the deaths and treatment of African-Americans by police officers. Eventually, he shifted the protest to kneeling in order to honor military veterans while still protesting.

This received polarizing reactions from the public, with some supporting his right to protest and others vocally speaking against his actions. After going unsigned during his later free agency, Kaepernick filed a grievance against the NFL, claiming that owners were colluding to prevent him from being hired due to his activism. They eventually reached an undisclosed settlement.

Thoughout this, Jim Harbaugh remained one of Kaepernick's greatest supporters, going so far as to bring him to a Michigan training camp when he was having trouble getting signed in the NFL. If the talented quarterback were to make a return in a coaching capacity, it would only make sense to do it with the Chargers.
