Very informative. Guide was very knowledgeable and ensured we saw a number of different birds in the area … even a bald eagle!

The captain knows a lot about birds and found a lot of migratory birds for us to see. We also saw a bald eagle & several Rails.

This was the best boating experience myself and my brother had! The owner/captain was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Was a beautiful evening with a huge amount of different bird species seen and was educated about! I Would definitely go again.

My girlfriend and I went out on the Safari, on 7/23/23.There was only 4 of us minus the Captin. Excellant experience. We witnessed various birds. There were many Osprey, Chicklets, Nesting. We saw various other birds; the captain was very knowledgeable, as well as some History. We saw Egrets, 2 Bald Eagles; thow 1 was hiding out. Red tail Hawk, and more. We even saw Deer out by the inlet. Sunseting was beautiful, calm relaxing trip. Remember to look, take photos, use binoculars. Mind your Balance when other boats pass by; boat's create Wake; if you have never been on a boat before. If he can, he will bring the boat right up to the birds for pictures! Well organized and well conducted tour. The captain took extra mile to detail about birds and even went back to show birds. He was exceptionally good.

The captain and the naturalist were both very informative. They know the area well and can discuss bird migration specific to the time of year. And of course the sunset is gorgeous!

I went on the Sunset Safari with my partner and we both really enjoyed it. The sunset was beautiful on the water and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. We learned a lot and the Captain even added some humor which made it more enjoyable. I would highly recommend.

Last evening, June 18, 2023, was my *I've lost count how many* cruise with Captain Bob Lubberman aboard the Osprey for a Sunset Safari birding cruise. I am a repeat customer since 2011 who repeats because Capt. Bob is wonderful and the cruise is always something new. It's never a carbon copy. The evening cruise is especially beautiful, sometimes super beautiful, with the opportunity to see sunset while on the water. Last nights cruise was to see this years Osprey chicks. Such a treat seeing the interactions of the adults with the babies. And Capt. Bob knows how to safely for both passengers and birds to get the best birds eye view of the various birds and nests. 2023 has Patti as the naturalist and she's a gem, very friendly. Ask her to take your groups photo, she'll oblige! I do a lot of photography while on the cruises. You do not have to be heavy into birds to enjoy the Sunset Safari. The colors of the sky, water and grasses are a sight to behold in their own right. It is also a relaxing ride, with very little rocking and rolling since you are mostly in the calm marsh waters between Cape May and behind Wildwood. The occasional journey into the inlet may cause some wave action but nothing too wild or long lasting. It will be a very sad day when whatever causes it that I cannot plan my yearly sails on the Osprey.
