Beware you can’t bring food in, even snacks for your kids. I guess they think you might feed the food to the animals. They have a food restaurants strategically along the pathway. As a Canadian who has been to many zoos in the world (Toronto metro zoo, Canada, Artis in the Netherlands, Berlin zoo, Germany to name a few ) Cebu Safari & Adventure Park ranks up there with the best of them. I’ve been there twice and will be going back again. Beautiful zoo and gardens. Do yourself a favor and just GO!!!

Just want to commend the management. It was a beautiful experience for the entire family. To start with, you have courteous employees in the field, and they seem to love their job. The animals are healthy and looks well fed. It was indeed beyond our expectation. Looking forward to more animals and more activities and events ahead. Happy New Year!

In fairness, the safety and hygiene protocols as well as the service at the Cebu Safari were impressive.

Even if it’s not my first time, the park always offers a unique experience bcoz I never know what the “residents” will be doing…Sometimes they show up, other times not; some put on a show, others sit still like statues (haha)..I don’t get tired of looking at the giraffes feeding… or the birds preening… I wonder where the camels are at, and why the snakes have taken a back stage. I just wish there were more educational talks, even recorded ones…Oh well, but I do love the place so much! Thanks!

We really enjoy touring the whole Cebu Safari…Despite the Pandemic we had given the chance to visit the most amazing place in our neighboring town…All the staff are very accommodating…All of us had enjoy especially the kids…I would definitely recommend this place as one of the best place to visit…???

Service was impeccable. Kudos to their staffs especially at the camp area and reception. The place was also amazingly clean. Old and young can come together and enjoy mother nature at its fullest.

Michel's Garden

Michel’s Garden is a flora walking trail showcasing a vast orchid garden and featuring Senyorito’s 40-year-old orchid collection. Phalaenopsis, vanda strap-leaf, debdrobium, and oncidium are just a few types of the one million orchids you can see at the garden. For plantsmen, different types of plants and orchids are also available for purchase at Michel’s Garden.

Gardens of the World

Gardens of the World is a beautiful tunnel garden featuring different kinds of plants from all over the world. You can see flora, landscapes, and representations of the seven continents, that’s why it’s called Gardens of the World! For North America flora representation, there are cacti and succulents. There is also a replica of the famous Iguazu falls for South America. Appreciating European culture, there are statues of Roman Gods and Goddesses you can see inside the garden. To represent the flora of Africa, there are cape leadwort and asparagus ferns, among others. There is also a Japanese Garden featuring bonsai trees and pagodas, representing Asia. Lastly, Antarctic flora consists of mosses and ferns which are also featured in the Gardens of the World.

The pool is soo dirty and full of algae and trash. The staff are lazy and dont know what they are doing. ”

If you need a parking space before your arrival, please contact the hotel to book in advance your parking space.

Check-in time is at 2 PM. If you arrive earlier, our staff will be pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready. However, there is an available early check-in at 11 AM with a P1,000.00/hr fee. At check-in, all guests will be required to present a valid form of identification, as well as a credit or debit card. This is necessary in order to ensure that the reservation is valid and that the guest has the means to pay for their stay. If the guest has already prepaid for their room using a credit card, they will still need to present the card at check-in so that the reservation can be properly processed. If you plan to arrive at the hotel earlier than the standard check-in time, it is best to contact the hotel directly in advance to confirm your arrival time. This will help ensure that you can get your room as soon as possible upon your arrival. Please note that if you do not confirm an early arrival time, there is no guarantee that your room will be available upon your arrival. Arriving early without confirming a time may result in having to wait for a room to become available. In order to avoid this, we suggest that you book your room for the night before as well.

Check-out time is at 12 NN. If you require a later check-out, please contact the receptionist before 11 AM on the day of departure. We will do our best to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee that it would be possible. A charge may be applied depending on availability. Any delay to checked-out will result a P1,000.00/hr fee being added to the final bill. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

PAYMENT METHODS: When making a reservation, please be advised that prepaid reservations require payment in advance by a valid credit card or bank transfer. If paying with a credit card belonging to another person who will not be present at the hotel, we will need a written authorization from the credit card holder including a copy of his credit card and ID. The hotel reserves the right to refuse room access to any guests who are unable to show us the credit card used for their prepaid reservation or if we have not received authorization before their arrival. Non-prepaid reservations may be paid for in cash or by credit card upon arrival. Over 186,000 T+L readers completed the 2024 survey. A total of more than 700,000 votes were cast across over 8,700 properties (hotels, cities, cruise lines, etc.).

Hotels were classified as either resort hotel, city hotel, inn, or safari lodge based on their location and amenities, and they were specifically rated on the criteria below:

South Africa was the most popular country this year, with three lodges in the top ten. Coming in at No. 1, Monwana Game Lodge is a solid all-rounder, overlooking a waterhole in a wildlife-rich safari reserve, supported by a compassionate team.

Asilia Namiri Plains (No. 2) in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park garnered plenty of praise for its team, too. “The staff were kind and made this a trip of a lifetime,” wrote one reader. The tents were also a highlight: “The rooms were huge, comfortable, and gorgeous, and the outdoor tub overlooking the Serengeti was unbeatable.”

But it wasn’t only lodges in famous Big Five destinations that T+L readers loved. Uganda’s Mount Gahinga Lodge, Volcanoes Safaris (No. 4) with direct access to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Kyambura Gorge, Volcanoes Safaris (No. 6) — where chimpanzee trekking is the big draw — reveals the popularity of primate safaris.

Monwana Game Lodge: Thornybush Nature Reserve, South Africa

In Thornybush Nature Reserve — part of South Africa’s Greater Kruger area, one of the best regions in Africa for Big Five sightings — Monwana Game Lodge is located by a waterhole frequented by elephants, lions, and other key wildlife. The lodge was the top choice for T+L readers this year, with one reporting “an amazing experience throughout, from staff to game viewing.” With just six suites, and a private residence for up to five guests, Monwana is ideal for honeymooners or families with kids over age 10. As well as twice-daily game drives, guests can go on bush walks, take a massage at the spa, or head out after dark for stargazing.

2024’s No. 1 winner — Alluring Africa — scored perfect marks, making it readers’ top choice for the second year in a row.  Vegas-based Dazzle Africa (No. 2) is also no stranger to high scores from T+L readers, one of whom said they’d discovered the Zambia specialist through our 2021 World’s Best Awards — after an initial call with a “helpful and committed” trip planner, they “didn’t need to look any further.”
