Karnataka Pravasi Saudha, Tirumala, Tirupati

• Children under the age of 12 are allowed for free, while those who are 12 years old or older will be charged as adults.
• Each room can accommodate up to two adults and one child.
• User can book maximum upto 2 rooms and rooms can be booked for maximum 3 days.
• No refund and no cancellation.
• Caution deposit has to be deposited to the manager. Please ensure that you carry the caution deposit, in cash.
• No food should be carried inside the room.
• In case of any government emergency, room bookings will be cancelled, and we will refund your money.
• At the time of entry, all devotees shall produce the same original ID proof used during booking. Age proof shall be produced for children below stipulated age to entry the temple without booking tickets.
• The devotees shall wear traditional dress only. Male: Dhoti, Shirt/Kurtha, Pyjama / Pant. Female: Saree / Half Saree / Chudidar with Dupatta.
• All the devotees in group ticket have to report together.
• All the devotees shall report as per their time slot only.
• All bookings are FIANL. Postponement / advancement / cancellation / refund is not allowed (if paid).
• Entry with foot wear is not permitted into the queue lines and Temple.
• In view of Covid-19, all the devotees should maintain social distancing, should wear mask, shall co-operate for thermal screening and should carry personal sanitizer. Entry will only be permitted to those who wear masks.
• Touching of idols, holy books and statues will not be allowed, and physical distances will have to be maintained in queues through markings.
• Physical offerings like holy water will not be permitted.
• Devotees will not be allowed to ring bells when they entry the temples and there will be no community feasts either.
• Check-in from 09:00 am, checkout time till next day 09:00 am.

About the Temple: Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple, Tirumala is one of the holiest site for all the Hindus residing across the world, as it is believed that Lord Vishnu took this form to save humanity from the problems of Kaliyuga. It is the most visited religious site and richest religious centre in the world. The temple receives thousands of pilgrims every day, while standing in long queues for hours to get darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. Devotees believe that visiting the temple and seeking blessings of Lord Venkateshwara brings prosperity, good fortune and spiritual enlightenment. About the Facility/Choultry: Karnataka State Charities at Tirumala has historic relevance and connection to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for over 700 years from the times of Vijayanagara empire; the patronage was later continued by Mysore Wodeyars. The current facilities of Karnataka Pravasi Souda (KPS) is part of the donations & charities made by the erstwhile kings of Mysore Kingdom for the welfare of the people visiting Tirumala. After independence, as natural progression the facilities are being owned and managed by Government of Karnataka. KPS comes under Karnataka choultries maintained by Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments (KHRICE) Department. Located in the prime location of Tirumala, pilgrims can easily reach out to KPS to avail accommodation.

i have traveled to Sringeri on 27th jan for Sarada temple .where i have chosen the Hanakodu home stay for one night.its was really a very nice experience.you will feel like home here and food as well.I would suggest if you are vegetarian and like south Indian food , I would insist to choose this property.its not like a five star hotel its a home where you saw Karnataka brahmin family who will take care of you as much possible.Thanks to Vishweshwar and your family members for your hospitality .

The facility is located close to Central railway station and KSRTC bus stand. Some attractions are nearby while the beaches are a bit away. Mangaluru city in itself is very clean, relative to other places in South Karnataka and Tamilnadu. The hotel room as well as the corridors were nice, spacious and clean. The bathroom floor needs abrasive cleaning, for it was a bit slippery. The buffet breakfast was good. The support staff were helpful. Stayed for one night in March 2024.

Hotel offered 5 star facilities in just ₹2200/only. Has enough car parking. Offerd nice complementary buffet breakfast. Everything was clean. Excellent stay as compared to other hotels we enjoyed it during our 10 days visit to Karnataka.

I can say that the whole ambience of the resort is really magic - the beautiful nature, well-kept gardens and the breathtaking taking views really make me want to come back here again. It is a beautiful natural reserve and, on top of that there are 3 temples just walking-distance from the accommodation that really blew my mind with their incredible energy. This place is really fantastic - I can only highly recommend it.

How To Reach

The nearest airport is Mysore (80 km), though very limited flights land there currently. Extremely good roads connect Bandipur to Bangalore (220 km), Mysore (80 km), Coimbatore (170 km) and Ooty (80 km).

This is one of best ever experiences we had. The place is well maintained and the ambience is so green. Touched by the hospitality of the people here would make a visit again with my family.

Tip – box should be kept. Very good services, little more security, approachable staff. Awesome view & good food, lots of birds species to be spotted. Early Morning view fromThe rooms are Breathtaking. Nice 31st party arranged in a short time.

It’s music to the ears. Its beauty cannot be imagined and shown in pictures; its astounding magnificence has to be felt.

The Jog Falls, also known as Gerusoppa, is India’s second highest waterfalls. Ranked among the world’s best, the spectacular cascade sees the Sharavati River leap 829 feet into a gorge with a thunderous roar. Four distinct cascades – known locally as Raja, Rani, Roarer and Rocket, are created with arching rainbows formed by the sunlight hitting the spray from the falls.
