Are you tired of scrolling through endless recommendations on travel sites, only to feel more confused than when you started? Look no further! Travel curation is the key to planning your perfect trip. With a curated approach, you can save time and money while experiencing the most authentic and meaningful travel experiences. But what exactly is travel curation, and how can it help you plan your next adventure? In this ultimate guide, we’ll dive deep into understanding travel curation and provide tips for crafting a personalized itinerary that will leave you with unforgettable memories. Get ready to take your travels to the next level!

What is Travel Curation

When you hear the term “ travel curation ,” you may think of it as simply another word for travel planning. But travel curation is so much more than that! Travel curation is the art and science of creating personalized travel experiences. It’s about finding the best of the best in each destination and carefully crafting an itinerary that will allow you to make the most of your time and create lasting memories.

With so many travel options out there, it can be overwhelming to try to plan a trip on your own. That’s where travel curators come in! A good travel curator will take into account your interests, budget, and time frame to create a customized itinerary that’s just right for you. Whether you’re looking for a luxury escape or an adventurous road trip, there’s a travel curator out there who can help make your dreams a reality.

Benefits of Travel Curation

When it comes to booking a vacation, there are endless options to consider. With so many choices, it can be hard to know where to start. That’s where travel curation comes in.

Travel curation is the process of hand-picking travel experiences that are tailored to your individual preferences. This can include everything from choosing your hotel and flight to planning your itinerary and activities.

There are many benefits of travel curation, including:

• Relief from decision fatigue: With so many choices available, making decisions about your vacation can be overwhelming. Travel curation takes the guesswork out of planning by narrowing down your options and choosing only the best experiences for you.

• Access to insider knowledge: When you work with a travel curator, you’ll benefit from their first-hand knowledge of destinations and insider tips. This can help you avoid tourist traps and make the most of your time while you’re away.

• Stress-free planning: Trying to plan a trip on your own can be stressful. Working with a professional means that someone else will handle all the details, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

• A truly unique experience: Travel curators create custom itineraries based on your interests, budget, and schedule. This ensures that you’ll have a one-of-a-kind trip that’s tailored specifically for you.

Steps of the Travel Curation Process

There are four steps in the travel curation process:

  • Planning and Preparation
  • Gathering Content
  • Organizing and Categorizing Content
  • Adding Context and Sharing

Let’s take a closer look at each step:

  • Planning and Preparation: The first step is to decide what kind of trip you want to curate. What is your goal? What do you hope to achieve? What are your interests? Once you have a clear idea of what you want, start doing some research. Look for blog posts, articles, guides, and other resources that can help you plan your trip. Make sure to bookmark or save everything so that you can easily access it later.

Tips for Selecting the Right Travel Location

There are a few key things to keep in mind when selecting the right travel location. First, consider what type of trip you want to take. Are you looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled vacation? Once you know the kind of trip you want, research different locations that offer that type of experience.

Next, think about your budget. How much can you afford to spend on your trip? Keep in mind that travel costs can vary greatly depending on the destination. Once you have an idea of your budget, start looking at locations that fit within your price range.

Finally, don’t forget to factor in the time of year when you’ll be traveling. Some destinations are better suited for certain seasons than others. For example, if you’re looking for a winter wonderland vacation, somewhere like Costa Rica might not be the best choice. Conversely, somewhere like New Zealand would be an ideal option.

Keep these tips in mind when selecting a travel destination and you’ll be sure to find the perfect place for your next vacation!

Tips for Crafting Engaging Content

When it comes to crafting engaging content, there are a few key things to keep in mind. Firstly, your content should be well-researched and accurate. Secondly, it should be clear and concise, without any fluff or filler. Lastly, make sure to include plenty of visuals, whether that means photos, infographics, or even videos.

If you can nail these three things, you’ll be well on your way to creating content that your readers will love. But of course, there’s always more to learn. For even more tips on how to craft engaging content, check out the full guide below.

Strategies to Promote your Travel Curated Content

There a few key strategies you can use to promote your travel curated content:

  • Use social media platforms – such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – to share your content with a wider audience. Make sure to use hashtags and relevant keywords so that people can easily find your content.
  • Collaborate with other travel bloggers and influencers. This will help you reach a new audience and build relationships with other like-minded individuals in the industry.
  • Create an email newsletter featuring your best travel content. This is a great way to keep your readers engaged and coming back for more.
  • Leverage visual content by creating beautiful images and videos to accompany your blog posts. This will make your content more eye-catching and engaging.
  • Host a contest or giveaway on your blog or social media channels where readers can win prizes for submitting their own travel photos or stories. This is an excellent way to drive traffic to your site while also getting people involved in your content

Alternatives to Traditional Travel Curation

There are a number of different ways to curate travel experiences, and traditional travel curation is just one option. Here are some alternatives to traditional travel curation that you may want to consider:

  • Travel Planning Services: These services can help you plan your entire trip, from start to finish. They can also help you find the best deals on flights, hotels, and activities.
  • Online Travel Communities: These online communities are a great way to get advice and recommendations from other travelers. You can often find good deals on travel-related products and services here as well.
  • Social Media: Social media can be a great way to connect with other travelers and get inspiration for your next trip. Be sure to follow Hashtags like #travelgram or #wanderlust to see what others are up to.
  • Travel Blogs: There are thousands of travel blogs out there, so you’re sure to find one that inspires you. Many of them offer great advice on where to go, what to do, and how to save money while traveling.

Travel curation can be a great tool for anyone looking to travel in style and find the best experiences their destination has to offer. With the right research, you can save time and money while having an unforgettable adventure. Whether you’re planning an epic trip or just making sure your next business meeting is scheduled correctly, understanding how travel curation works will help you make more informed decisions about the places you visit. Now that you have all the information, it’s time to start planning your dream trip.

What Is Curated Travel and How Does it Work?

What Is Curated Travel and How Does it Work?

  • Gravel Travel
  • Travel Tips

Curated travel is a more refined and personalized way of planning not just any ole trip, but an experience that you won't soon forget.

Travel curators are the brains behind the operation. They partner with a select group of hotels, restaurants, and special attractions that offer something unique, like hitching a hot air balloon ride over the temples of Myanmar.

What does this mean for the traveler? Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, they can now have a tailor-made trip with all the bells and whistles, without having to do all the research themselves.

What Makes Curated Travel Different?

Curated trips usually stick with a theme. This could be anything from culinary to adventure or even history and culture. They also tend to work with smaller groups of travelers.

Rather than crossing off bucket-list destinations simply by showing up and moving on, a curated trip offers a more immersive experience and handles all of the logistics for you. That might mean skipping the long lines at tourist traps and getting VIP access to exclusive events and experiences.

For example, you might tag along on a Mongolian eagle hunt or catch a festival in the Gobi Desert, but you might also have a more low-key experience like retracing Jane Austen's footsteps in England. It all depends on what the curator has put together for you based on your interests.

But perhaps best of all is the level of service and support that comes with curated travel. A good curator will be with you every step of the way, from planning to booking to post-trip follow-up.

What Are Some Real-World Examples of Curated Trips?

There are a variety of ways to experience curated travel. Here are a few examples:

  • A wine-tasting tour of the Napa Valley arranged by a sommelier
  • A photography workshop in Iceland with a professional photographer
  • A tour of New Zealand for "Lord of the Rings" enthusiasts
  • A culinary tour of Italy, with visits to local artisanal cheese shops and olive oil mills
  • A ski trip in the Swiss Alps, with a personal guide to help you find the best slopes and trails

To plan the perfect curated trip, it's important to know what kind of experience you're looking for and to work with a qualified travel curator who understands your specific needs and interests.

How To Find a Curated Travel Provider

Curators like Explorer X and Superfly specialize in "transformative travel," which is any travel experience that allows individuals to improve their lives in some manner.

You could also find other curated travel providers by doing a quick search online. Start by typing in "curated travel experiences for" followed by the type of adventure or experience you're interested in.

For example, if you're looking for a cultural experience, you might type in "curated travel experiences for history buffs." Another would be "curated travel experiences for foodies."

These search queries should yield a list of unique travel experiences that may be curated to some degree. Once you've found a provider you like, be sure to read reviews from previous customers to get an idea of what to expect.

Travel Gear for the Curated Trip

A travel backpack system may be all the gear you need to explore the "Avatar" mountains in China or the ancient temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

Our bundle includes a 42L travel backpack , an 11L everyday carry, and a sling belt that links the two together. The sling belt can also be used as a crossbody bag or waist pack, giving you plenty of options for how to carry your gear.

The best part is that it's all convertible, so you can use the backpack as a carry-on and the smaller daypack as a personal item on the plane.

Don't forget to pack clothes for a variety of climates and activities. Curated travel often entails going off the beaten path. Ask your travel curator if they offer a packing list for your specific trip or check out our packing list for some ideas.

Finally, make sure to pack your sense of adventure and enthusiasm for a new, transformative experience! After all, the world is your oyster when it comes to curated travel. Why not make the most of it?

  • A Personal Travel Curator Saves you Money, Time, & Headaches

When it comes to planning the perfect vacation, there are a lot of things to consider. Where will you go? What will you do when you’re there? How will you get around? And, most importantly; how much will it all cost? If you’re like most people, the thought of trying to figure all of that out on your own is enough to give you a headache. That’s where a personal travel curator comes in.

curator of travel

Not only will a travel curator eliminate the hassle of having to plan the logistics and accommodation of your trip, but an experienced travel curator can also end up saving you hundreds to thousands of dollars on your trip by helping you get discounts on hotels, flights, and activities.

Plus, they’ll be able to give you advice on things like when it’s better and less expensive to book an Airbnb over a hotel as well.

What is a Travel Curator ?

curator of travel

A travel curator is a professional who specializes in travel planning and booking customized vacations for their clients. They take into account your budget, interests, and travel goals to come up with a trip that’s perfect for your specific needs and wants.

Why you Need a Travel Curator

There are many benefits to using the services of a travel curator , but here are some of the most important:

  • Save Time – Planning a vacation can be time-consuming, especially if you’re trying to do it all yourself. A travel curator will save you hours (if not days) of research and planning by doing it all for you.
  • Save Money – They also often have access to exclusive or limited-time discounts and deals that you won’t find on your own. This means you’ll save money without even trying and will be able to get the most bang for your buck on your next vacation.
  • Avoid Headaches – A personal travel curator also takes the hassle out of planning a trip and helps avoid headaches and stressful situations by taking care of all the important aspects of the trip like logistics and itinerary planning.
  • Travel Like a Local – Last but not least, one of the best parts about using a travel curator to plan your trips is that they can help you experience a destination like a local. They’ll introduce you to the best places to eat, drink, and shop, as well as the must-see sights and attractions.

Difference Between a Travel Curator and a Travel Agent

curator of travel

While a travel curator and a travel agent may seem similar, there are some key differences between them. Here’s a quick breakdown:

Basically, a travel agent will plan the main parts of a trip like flights, hotels, and excursions. A travel curator will plan the same things as an agent, but they’ll also help you plan the smaller details like booking restaurant reservations and tickets to attractions and shows, help you plan meet-ups, off-the-beaten-path adventures, and more.

So, if you’re looking for someone to help you plan a truly unique and tailor-made vacation, a travel curator is usually the way to go.

Author Shahnaz Habib next to the cover of her new book, Airplane Mode.

Summer is a time when many Americans are taking off from work and setting their sights on far-off vacation destinations: tropical beaches, fairy-tale cities, sun-drenched countrysides. But in her book Airplane Mode, the reluctant travel writer Shahnaz Habib warns of recklessly embracing what she calls "passport privilege," — and how that can skew peoples' images of what the world is and who it belongs to.

I’m a Travel Writer, and I Live in Bootcut Yoga Pants — Here Are 10 Perfect Pairs That Go With Everything

Go from work outs to work functions with just a change of shoes — all under $35.

curator of travel

Travel + Leisure / Tyler Roeland

As an unabashed yoga pants person, I never fail to pack at least three pairs for any given trip. But a few months ago, I discovered a travel wardrobe hack that I can never un-discover: bootcut compression yoga pants. I bought a black pair for $70, and they’re so versatile, they’ve paid for themselves many times over. I wear them to work out and lounge around, but also with a T-shirt and sandals for day trips and then with heels and a blazer for evenings out.

The day-to-night appeal of these perfect travel pants is huge. I mean, how many other wardrobe staples can you think of that wear this many hats? But it’s the fit and the silhouette of these pants that really seal the deal. I’m curvy, and the compression provides enough support that I feel confident at all times — even after a full culinary tour in a new city. And the flared legs do what other yoga pants can’t: they pass (convincingly) as slacks.

But I kind of overpaid for my bootcut compression yoga pants, considering that Amazon sells at least 10 of the exact same style starting at just $20 — and all under $35 (or half the price of mine!) That’s pretty impressive considering many raving reviewers claim they give their Lululemon leggings a run for their money . Many of them have more than 10,000 five-star ratings, too. Go ahead and change the way you think about yoga pants: I promise it will also change the way you travel.

Heathyoga Women's Bootcut Yoga Pants with Pockets

Hang onto your hat: Heathyoga bootcut compression yoga pants not only have some of the most five-star ratings of all the boot-cut yoga pants of Amazon, but they also have pockets! Stash your phone at your side and keep it close at hand for that perfect Instagram moment. This pair is super soft, stretchy and sweat-wicking to keep you comfy and dry. “Not only are they terrific and resilient for workouts, to include pockets, I wear them to work, social events, and even just relaxing around the house. They are comfortable all day long, and the flare leg augments my body style in a way that keeps me coming back for more!” wrote a reviewer after my own heart. Even Lululemon fans say they’re the “best high-waisted yoga pants” they’ve worn.

Promover Bootcut Yoga Pants

These bootcut yoga pants by Promover are probably the closest on this list to my beloved pair, and they're about a third of the price. How can you go wrong? Of course, they have four-way stretch and sweat-wicking construction and other amazing features that make them perfect for working out, but you’ll be weaning these out to dinner and cocktail parties, too, guaranteed. One shopper wrote, “I love these pants! Comfortable, fits as mentioned, have some tummy control and can wear dressed up with heels or flats,” wrote a happy shopper.

Topyogas Bootleg Yoga Pants

Another pair that Amazon fans can’t stop raving about, these Topyogas Bootcut Yoga Pants have something I adore about my pair: a high waist. It makes all the difference in accentuating my natural waist, and it’s such a stylish silhouette when I tuck in a button-down blouse and wear it with pumps or a chunky-heeled sandal or boot. “Not an exaggeration, if I could live in these pants I would,” wrote one of more than 10,000 five-star reviewers. “They are so comfortable, hold their shape well even after wearing all day and after six months of regular (constant) wearing and washing have not faded or stretched out.” Another who called them “ so flattering ” paired them with a fall coat for a polished look.

IUGA Bootcut Yoga Pants with Pockets

These high-waisted compression yoga pants have a unique feature I haven't seen in the others: in addition to side pockets they have a pair of back pockets which makes these IUGA Bootcut Yoga Pants uniquely suited to day to night wear. Tons of Amazon fans are absolutely smitten with the versatility. “How can you go wrong with yoga pants that have pockets that make them look like dress pants! I can wear them to work and no one knows I’m in sweats. Win win for me!” wrote one of more than 23,000 five-star reviewers.

Houmous Cotton Bootcut Pants

With a pair of breathable cotton yoga pants like these by Houmous , you know you’ll be dry and chafe-free even in humid and tropical destinations. A welcome bonus: they come in three different inseam measurements so you can find your perfect fit. “I’m not tall, I’m long. Yes there’s a difference. I love this company and love I can finally get yoga pants that are long enough for me,” as one shopper explained it.

Hiskywin Inner Pocket Yoga Pants

These bootcut compression yoga pants by Hiskywin were built for two things: comfort and convenience. They’re designed with four-way stretch, flat seams and moisture-wicking fabric, and they hide space for things like keys, credit cards, and even a cellphone right in the waistband. You could conceivably go an entire day, from yoga sunrise class to an evening each stroll, without your purse. “Durable enough to withstand the rub of my [thick] thighs for more than 50 miles of hiking in the Arizona heat,” wrote a happy hiker. Yet they’re sleek enough to wear to work too , according to several shoppers.

Bubblelime High-Waist Bootcut Yoga Pants

These high-waisted beauties have comfort on their side thanks to flexible four-way stretch, a compression high waist that’s oh-so-flattering, and your choice of five different inseam options. The bootcut compression yoga pants I bought and love were available in only one inseam —  a really, really long one. Hemming pants with this much spandex is a delicate art, so if you think length might be an issue, these Bubblelime yoga pants are a safe bet. One fan had a different point of view, writing: “I am 6-ft tall and curvy. I personally want my pants dragging the floor (a privilege I’m rarely afforded), so I grabbed a few pair with the 37” inseam and they are absolutely my favorite legging that I own.” Plus, shoppers swear the material has the same quality as their Lululemon leggings .

Sunzel Flare Leggings

In search of a super high-waisted bootcut leggings? I picked the second skin-like Sunzel Flare Leggings just for you. These highly-rated women’s pants have a waist-enhancing V-shaped waist and suck you in securely while their compression sculpts your curves. And they’re so, so soft. Thousands of Amazon shoppers are smitten. “They’re amazingly comfortable, breathable, and stretchy,” one wrote. “I bartend long hours in the heat and these repel liquid/dry quickly, and never chafe.”

Afitne Women's Bootcut Yoga Pants

The flat lock stitching on these Afitne bootcut yoga pants lends a distinct design detail that I'm not mad at. It includes all the flattering waist-snatching band, four-way stretch and other details we all love in a comfy pair of yoga pants. And hidden inside that thick waistband are two internal pockets for stashing little odds and ends when you're jetting off from the gym to meet your entourage for brunch. A reviewer wrote, “These pants not only look cute with a hiking boot, but they also can be paired with a pair of lug soled sneakers, patent leather loafers, healed booties and running shoes. With a change of a shirt, sweater or shacket and shoe option, you can be ready for work, casual day or a workout…such a versatile item to have in your closet.”

G Gradual Bootcut Yoga Pants

This sleek pair of bootcut yoga pants from G Gradual is made from a unique nylon spandex blend, which makes them so effective for wicking away moisture. A few other winning features include side pockets and four available inseam options for the perfect fit. “ Love these pants, two pair of these [and] I could travel the world ,” wrote a shopper. “Right-hand pocket fits my smart phone perfect. Left-hand pocket has a narrowing at the bottom that my key falls into and no way is it coming out unless I take it out. Really impressed.” Grab them in khaki and you can wear them to a fitness class, to work, to a fancy dinner — the sky is the limit.

Since Brexit , the rules on passport validity for British visitors to the European Union have tightened.

Gone are the days when you could travel to the EU at any point before your travel document expired; the UK is now a “third country”, with rules to match.

Added confusion has come in the form of the UK’s own HM Passport Office, which has continued to give out incorrect information regarding child passport expiry dates .

These are the key questions and answers based on EU rules.

What’s changed?

While the UK was in the European Union, British passports were valid up to and including their expiry date for travel within the EU. But since the end of the Brexit transition phase, British passport holders are treated as “third country nationals” with stipulations about passport issue and expiry dates – together with limits on the length of stay almost everywhere in Europe.

Barred from Europe: 2.4m Brits caught in post-Brexit passport chaos

For the avoidance of doubt, these are not “new EU rules” – they were decided while the UK was in the European Union.

What is required for my passport to be valid?

The requirements for the Schengen Area – comprising most EU countries plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and a handful of micro-states – are crisply expressed on the Travel page of the European Union’s Your Europe site : “If you are a non-EU national wishing to visit or travel within the EU, you will need a passport:

  • valid for at least three months after the date you intend to leave the EU country you are visiting,
  • which was issued within the previous 10 years.”

(All children’s passports meet this latter condition – see below.)

For the avoidance of doubt, there is no problem travelling to Europe with a passport issued for over 10 years, so long as it is under 10 years old on the date of departure to the EU and will have three months remaining on the date of return.

Why the line about ‘issued within the previous 10 years’?

For many years, until September 2018, the UK had a generous policy of allowing credit for “unspent” time when renewing a passport, issuing documents valid for up to 10 years and nine months.

So a passport issued on 31 October 2012 could show an expiry date of 31 July 2023.

This was fine around Europe and the world for decade – until Brexit, whereupon a longstanding rule kicked in. For non-members of the EU hoping to enter the Schengen Area, a passport must have been issued in the past 10 years.

With a passport issued on 31 October 2012, regardless of the expiry date, you’re not allowed to enter the EU post-1 November 2022.

Until September 2018 the government appeared unaware of the problem. Once the issue was identified, the practice of giving up to nine months’ grace ended abruptly.

Are the “issued less than 10 years ago” and “valid for three months” rules combined?

No. There is no need to have a passport issued less than nine years, nine months ago. The two conditions are independent of one another.

The Migration and Home Affairs Department of the European Commission in Brussels told me: “Entry should be allowed to those travelling with passports issued within the previous 10 years at the moment of entry into the Schengen area.

“The condition that the passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years does not extend for the duration of the intended stay. It is enough if this condition is fulfilled at the moment of entry.

“To give a practical example, a non-EU traveller arriving on 1 December 2021 for a 20-days stay in the EU with a passport issued on 2 December 2011 and valid until 2 April 2022 will be allowed entry.”

If I get wrongly turned away, what are my rights?

For flights: you can claim denied boarding compensation (either £220 or £350, depending on the length of the flight) and associated costs – for example, booking another flight on a rival airline, or for wasted car rental and hotel expenses that cannot be reclaimed.

I’ve just read a report saying I need six months remaining for Europe?

Some news outlets, regrettably, continue to publish incorrect information. Ignore it.

Does that 10-year-plus rule apply anywhere else in the world?

No as far as I am aware. The concern around the date of issue is relevant only for travel to the European Union – not for the rest of the world.

For destinations outside EU, the only significant consideration is the expiry date. And for destinations such as Australia, the US and Canada, your passport is valid up to and including this date.

So with that passport expiring on 31 July 2023, you could be in New York until that very day (though you would need to get a daytime flight back to avoid your passport running out en route.

Read the Independent ’s guide to how many months you need left on your passport to travel worldwide

What about children?

Passports for under-16s are typically valid for five years (plus any extra credit). A child’s passport issued for five years and nine months is clearly within the 10-year limit, and there is no possibility of breaching that condition.

(During 2021, the Home Office’s defective passport checker stripped all extra credit, which was both wrong and unhelpful. The online checker has now been switched off.)

But beware of the three-months-remaining-on-exit rule, which children are more likely to fall foul of because of the shorter duration of their passports.

What about this 90/180 day rule?

For trips to the Schengen area (most EU nations plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and some small countries) British passport holders can stay a maximum of 90 days in any 180. That’s roughly three months in six.

it is tricky to explain, but I shall do my best. Imagine a calendar that stretches back almost six months from today. What happened more than 180 days ago is irrelevant. What counts is the number of days you were either inside (I) or outside (O) the Schengen Area in the past 180 days.

You can easily keep count on a calendar yourself, either printed or digital.

If “I” hits 90, you must leave that day and stay out for almost three months, to accumulate 90 “Os” in a row. Then you can go back in, for a maximum of 90 days.

During the course of a calendar year, it could work like this (assuming no travel to the EU in the previous six months).

  • 1 January: enter the EU and stay for 90 days until the last day of March, when you must leave.
  • 1 April: remain outside for 90 days, which takes you to 29 June.
  • 30 June: enter the EU and stay for 90 days, until 27 September. Then leave.
  • 28 September: remain outside the EU until 26 December.

For longer stays, some countries offer visas that allow British citizens to remain for months on end. If you get one of these, then the time spent in that country does not count towards the “90/180” rule – in other words, you can explore other EU countries with a fresh calendar.

What about non-Schengen EU members?

For British visitors to Ireland , there are no limits on passport validity. Indeed, a passport is not legally mandatory for British travellers to the republic, though some airlines insist on it.

Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania have identical rules to the Schengen Area: passport issued in the past 10 years, and with three months validity remaining on the day of leaving the country. But time spent in any of these nations does not contribute to the “90/180” day total.

Help! My passport is full of stamps and I have no space left. Will I be turned away?

No, even though Eurostar warns British passport holders : “Check that you have a clear page in your passport as it will need to be stamped with your travel date when you’re travelling to and from the EU.”

The EU’s Practical Handbook for Border Guards is explicit about a “document enabling a third-country national to cross the border [that] is no longer suitable for affixing a stamp, as there are no longer available pages”.

It says: “In such a case, the third-country national should be recommended to apply for a new passport, so that stamps can continue to be affixed there in the future.

“However, as an exception – and particularly in the case of regular cross-border commuters – a separate sheet can be used, to which further stamps can be affixed. The sheet must be given to the third-country national.

“In any case, the lack of empty pages in a passport is not, in itself, a valid and sufficient ground to refuse the entry of a person.”

Chappell Roan is adding even more shows to her hit 2024 tour through the fall, and tickets are flying fast to see the "Pink Pony Club" singer. While The Midwest Princess Tour is winding down, there are still a few avenues for how to buy Chappell Roan tickets for her remaining 2024 concerts both in the US and around the world.

The Midwest Princess Tour initially kicked off in September 2023 and with the singer's viral success, has since been extended into six legs worldwide. The "Hot to Go!" singer still has a few concert dates remaining in her 2024 North American leg before heading to Europe for eight shows. After her European stint, Chappell Roan will return to North America for a few festival appearances and an extension of her tour through October 2024.

Chappell Roan recently announced that she would extend The Midwest Princess Tour with additional dates in 2024. This includes appearances at the All Things Go Music Festival on September 28 in New York City and September 29 in Columbia, Maryland. Roan will also perform in Franklin, Tennessee, on October 1, Rogers, Arkansas, on October 2, and Council Bluffs, Iowa, on October 3. To close out the 2024 tour, Chappell Roan is making two appearances at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 5 and 12.

We've got you covered if you're looking for how to get tickets to Chappell Roan's 2024 tour. Here's our breakdown of The Midwest Princess Tour 2024 schedule, purchasing details, and price comparisons between original and resale tickets. You can also browse ticket and concert details on StubHub and Vivid Seats .

Chappell Roan 2024 tour schedule

Including 8 shows in North America, there are still 17 concert dates remaining in Chappell Roan's 2024 tour. Most of her upcoming concerts in North America are part of music festival appearances. Chappell Roan's 2024 European tour takes her across six countries for nine shows, closing in London on September 21. The final date of Roan's 2024 tour is currently scheduled to be on October 12 at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas.

All concert times are listed in local time zones.

You can purchase original tickets for Chappell Roan's 2024 tour on Ticketmaster or for her festival appearances through each festival's respective personal site. However, this year's demand is extremely high for the hit artist's shows, so the number of remaining original tickets is limited.

Tickets for The Midwest Princess Tour's upcoming 2024 shows can be purchased through verified resale ticket vendors such as StubHub and Vivid Seats . But, it's important to note that these sites don't sell tickets for all music festivals and international dates where Chappell Roan will be performing.

Many of her upcoming performances are at music festivals with other high-profile headliners, so tickets to Chappell Roan's 2024 tour are relatively expensive. Most of her 2024 concert dates have already sold out of standard original tickets, and those that remain are generally pricier. For instance, the least expensive standard original ticket still available is $226 for her Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco.

You may find better luck with prices and availability through resale ticket platforms. On StubHub , the cheapest tickets for Chappell Roan's 2024 tour range from $127 for her Montreal show on August 2 to $1,695 for her Amsterdam concert on September 4, though the latter is a major outlier in the prices. Generally, the prices on StubHub fall around the $225 to $350 range.

Vivid Seats offers comparable prices for resale tickets to Chappell Roan's 2024 tour dates. The least expensive tickets on Vivid Seats range from $207 for her Council Bluffs, Iowa, show on October 3 and Austin performance on October 12 to $776 for her Hinterland Music Festival appearance on August 4. Like StubHub, however, the lowest prices on Vivid Seats generally fall around $200 to $300.

Who is opening for Chappell Roan's tour?

There are no confirmed opening performers for Chappell Roan's upcoming 2024 tour dates. However, since many of her concerts are for music festivals, she'll be appearing in the lineups alongside many high-profile artists. For instance, her Austin City Limits Music Festival appearances in October 2024 have her shows booked alongside Blink-182.

There were nine international tour dates scheduled for Chappell Roan's remaining 2024 shows. These nine concerts in Europe. Here's a breakdown of Chappell Roan's upcoming 2024 international tour dates:

  • Berlin, Germany – August 31, 2024
  • Paris, France – September 3, 2024
  • Amsterdam, Netherlands – September 4, 2024
  • Manchester, England – September 13, 2024
  • Glasgow, Scotland – September 15, 2024
  • Dublin, Ireland – September 17, 2024
  • London, England – September 19, 2024
  • London, England – September 20, 2024
  • London, England – September 21, 2024

Scotland’s 5,000-Year-Old Tomb Comes to Light: Archaeologists Unearth Ancient Ruins

A team of archaeologists discovered the remains of a 5,000-year-old tomb on the Orkney Islands, Scotland. The project was led by Dr. Hugo Anderson-Whymark, senior curator of prehistory (Neolithic) at National Museums Scotland, and Prof. Vicki Cummings, professor of Neolithic archaeology at Cardiff University.

After a three-week excavation, the team uncovered a large stone chamber in the center of a cairn. This human-made pile of stones had been used as a burial marker and was surrounded by six smaller rooms. In one of these smaller rooms, the archaeologists found 14 skeletons of men, women, and children. They also discovered other remains, including artifacts like pottery, stone tools, and a bone pin.

Anderson-Whymark shared his insights with The Guardian : "Seven or eight meters across the interior was really big. We found not only the tomb but also articulated skeletons in situ – the icing on the cake. They were real engineering feats. The tomb must have been an immense feature in the landscape when it was originally constructed, and the stonework inside would have been very impressive."

Knewz.com explored the untold story of this rare Neolithic tomb, which had been mostly destroyed and undocumented in the 19th century. Only 12 of these tombs had been discovered in Orkney, and they were considered the pinnacle of Neolithic engineering in northern Britain, according to the museum .

Vicki Cummings, head of Cardiff University's School of History, Archaeology, and Religion, said in a statement per CBS News : "The preservation of so many human remains in one part of the monument was amazing, especially since the stone had been mostly taken for building material."

Ann Muir, who owned the land where the tomb was found, told BBC Reporting Scotland : "I was very excited by the discovery. If it could help Hugo and his team learn more about how people lived in Orkney, then it was a bonus. It was quite remarkable to have it on your land." The site had been neglected due to its flattened surface, and the structure was mostly destroyed in the 18th century when stones were taken to build new structures.

In 1896, a farmer's son dug into the ruins and found wall remains, a stone macehead, a ball, and eight skeletons. An antiquary named James Walls Cursiter reported these findings in the local newspaper The Orcadian . At that time, Cursiter misjudged the findings as a ruined tomb and did not realize their significance. Cummings, commenting on the revelations, shared per The Guardian : "It was incredibly rare to find these tomb deposits, even in well-preserved chambered tombs, and these remains would provide new insights into all aspects of these people’s lives."

Following the news, archaeologists and other researchers showed great interest in the remains and the unexcavated tomb. Anderson-Whymark said per CBS News : "Orkney was exceptionally rich in archaeology, but we had never expected to find a tomb of this size in such a small-scale excavation. It was incredible to think this once impressive monument had been nearly lost without record, but fortunately, just enough stonework had survived for us to understand the size, form, and construction of this tomb."
