My wife ordered this Christmas present for family without my knowing and b4 I could check out the company online. The product was absolute junk (though the advertising made it look pretty appealing!) and we had ordered 3! They would not honor a return and stopped replying to my communications. Admittedly, the return was after their 30 day (after purchase) warranty period; but when it takes nearly 3 weeks to arrive from China, that leaves little time to work with (plus, the busy holiday season didn't help). Would never order from them again.

ModernMint Scam

Man! I wish I had verified this company MODERNMINT before ordering from this company. I ordered a great advertised stream iron, it took two weeks for delivery. I got it looks good but is worthless I called around 11:00 am Eastern time and their voicemail says they are closed. Anyway, the product did not work as advertised. I will never purchase anything from Pinterest again. We must do our research on these so-called companies to not get, got! My goodness

Useless power washer

After at least 15 emails, issued small refund as product took over two months to arrive. Apparrently from China. Terrible product. Assembled incorrectly so unable to attach power washer to hose. Contacting customer service again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY Lesson learned

I'm still waiting for a product cake…

I'm still waiting for a product cake decorator nozzle set and it's taken a month and tracking still says china. They advertise shipping in 3 days. I'm ready to send my information to the federal trade commission. Why don't they really want to do business with us in USA. I've done nothing to deserve it. I have friends all over the world and welcoming new customers will certainly become returning customers if shipping is smooth and on time.

Modermint.com is the continuation of Beyondkrafty.com - Chinese online “business”. Review their terms and conditions. They did not remove the previous business name from some paragraphs. Their previous company scammed buyers and closed their website. Now they are doing business under this new company. Stay away as far as you can.

Absolutely the very same story

Absolutely the very same story - Ordered a solor bird feeder fountain mid April and have never received it and it is not mid June. Received the same emails regarding tracking and Jamaca NY - I din't know aabout Trustpilot but have learned my lesson - don't order anything impulsively off Facebook and dont order anything PERIOD without checking with you guys first. This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam. Unfortunately I did not check the reviews on this company. I lost $119. Customer support is non-existent. Called many times all times of night and day, all days of the week. Only a voice mail response that said "sorry, we are not open". I sent emails. I finally received a reply from a Michael who stated no remote control or manual comes with the toy transformer which was a complete lie. Advertisement clearly states the opposite. Lesson learned - ALWAYS check reviews before purchasing from a company.

Do NOT order from Modern Mint! I, too, ordered the automatic branch scissors from them, but instead received a cheap pair of pruning shears Anyone could buy from their local Dollar Store. When I emailed them about the wrong item received, they told me that I checked off on a non-existent box requesting the cheap shears. Modern Mint should be shut down for deceiving potential buyers and for false advertising. I will report them to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!

No customer service for returns/refunds. Products are cheap and don't work!

The product that I ordered did NOT work anything like the video showed. Their refund policy states to email customer service for a full refund instructions. I sent 3 emails that they never responded to. Their phone always says they are closed. They hide a online no return policy in FAQ under order cancellations to show the credit card company, but have a full page return policy stating "if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund. Buyer beware!!!!

This company is an absolute SCAM operation! I ordered a battery operated small branch cutter. I was sent a pair of cheap regular cutters. Not battery operated. I emailed the company. No response. Just now I zoomed in on the address that was given as their company’s site in Canada—just some little suburban house.

Ordered “large” light board and a 24”…

Ordered “large” light board and a 24” robot for my sons birthday. Both packages came. Robot was a miniature version of the advertised one and is a terrible product. Light board was a box that was empty. Another new scam from China... Pay for an advertised piece, then send a product that is either an empty package or a cheap version of advertisement so they can say they sent something. These Chinese companies have great marketing and can easily fool you. BEWARE! Total disappointment for my sons birthday.

I had no idea my package would take…

I had no idea my package would take over two months to arrive. The product was okay. And when I emailed customer service I did get replies (not very helpful). Those are the only reasons I give ModernMint two stars. The big issue is, the company does not tell you they are shipping the product from the backwoods of China by the slowest means possible. My package went from China to a place called Jamaica, New York (yep, it's a real place, where it languished for over three weeks, not moving). Then it was sent to Caliofrnia for another two and a half weeks. This is even worse, because I live on the eastern half of the U.S. Then it went to somewhere called Greenwood (which could have been in any state with a town named Greenwood.) And finally I received the package almost two months to the day from the time I ordered the product (a garden hose converter to a jet spray device.) I would't have minded so much if MM had told me delivery would be two months from the start, but they didn't. Only order from this company if you have the patience of Job.

Bags NOT as advertised. Emails ignored.

The 2 bags I ordered were not as advertised. Instead of a shoe compartment in the bottom it was just a height extension by opening a zip. Several emails I sent have been ignored. Absolute rip off. They DO NOT deserve any stars at all, not even the one I had to give to leave my review. Shocking experience. In future I'll read reviews before buying from anyone. Never again from Modern Mint. It's a scam. The same bags would have been about $20 from K Mart. I've been scammed $80 plus postage. Disgusted.

This company could screw up a 2 car…

This company could screw up a 2 car funeral! Ordered a handheld chainsaw took a month to arrive. Upon inspection it was missing the chain (the saw part). Contacted support via email, sent photo as requested traded emails over 10 days and was told that it was delivered. Again suggested they review the email train and ship the chain as promised. I am still waiting for a response, not optimistic I'll see the chain.

Oh my - I guess it comes from age and trusting companies - either way - Don’t trust this company for anything - I ordered and received (after 4 weeks) the phone telescope attachment- very poor quality and and impossible to attach to my iPhone. Lesson learned - read reviews of all companies prior to committing money to them.. READ REVIEWS before committing. So it’s my fault. Lesson learned

They recommend pay for tracking number if returned so no less than 10 dollars for an item that it worth $3 being generous. Don't buy anything there. Modern Mint is a scam e-business

Modern Mint is a scam e-business. Company does not honor its return policy for incorrect or mis-described items. I ordered a travel bag and when received it was not as pictured in their website. I requested return instructions several times and received no replies. They continue to offer discount coupons with no instructions. I do not recommend Modern Mint for any purchases.

Package tracking says it was received by the logistics company on July 3rd; it's now July 14th and it's still sitting in the warehouse. Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Actual rating zero. I too fell victim to this site's scam by ordering the electric shears and receiving the el cheapo manual model. Story the same, I picked the wrong box. I have the complete paper trail so hope to get some agency to jump on this. The tracking data on my shipment shows it coming from China when, in fact, it was shipped from California. I intend to send it back there but my expenditure is probably down the tubes. Lesson learned...........

I order a solar fountain on May 20 and…

I order a solar fountain on May 20 and still haven’t received it (it’s July 9). I contacted customer service four or five times and Am still trying to get an adequate answer. I’ve had to push to get a response and they still haven’t told me where my order is. No apology just a response saying “thanks for ur patience.” I didn’t realize the product had to be shipped directly from China then once it got to Jamaica, NY no updates. Ordered on May 20, wasn’t processed two weeks later, got to US end of June, now no communication from company!

Modern Mint "Automatic Branch Scissors and Pruning Shears"

I purchased a pair of "Automatic Branch Scissors & Pruning Shears" for $39.95 and only receive a $10 pair of manual pruners that I could pick-up any Lowes or Home Depot. The company contact is Michele Orais (Modern Mint) and she stated that I ordered the manual pruners by my own mistake. This is not true and I sent her the original order email receipt that shows the purchase price, description and image of the product purchased. Michele said I can return the item to a return address located in China but the shipping costs will be near or exceed the purchase price of the item. This web store is a scam and do NOT buy anything from them!!!!

Company is very Deceptive!!

I ordered the Automatic Branch Scissors & Pruning Shears for a total of $31.96 and instead I received a pair of manual pruning shears that would only have cost me $10-$12 at one of my local hardware stores nearby. Very Conveniently their RETURN POLICY also states that there will be no REFUNDS if past 30 days of the order being confirmed. I waited exactly 32 days for this stupid item to finally be delivered to me. This is a SCAM and totally BOGUS.

Wish I could give NO STARS

I wish there was an option to give negative stars (or at least ZERO. I read a previous review that described the exact issue I had: ordered what I thought were electronic cutting shears, received normal $10 cutting shears, called the company to tell them they sent the wrong thing, was told that was what I had ordered, said I was blatantly misled by false advertising and wanted to return the item, was given the return address in CHINA. Interestingly the return address on the package was NY. Kept the shears of course but I will be googling reviews from now on when I order ANYTHING. (Except from Amazon and Disney!)

Save your money

Save your money! I ordered the Hydro Washer a month ago, and it still has not arrived. The "tracking" shows it in Los Angeles, but it has shown that for ten days. I actually think Modernmint sold my phone number to spammers, since I've received an inordinate number of spam calls since I placed my order. The video of the Hydro Washer admitted that what it showed was actually a real power-washer, and not their product. Shame on me for ordering it anyway!

Don't order here-my true rating is a 0

I am giving my order a 1* only because it won't take 0. I ordered a jelly ball in mid May and finally received it at the end of July. The Jelly ball has no directions in how to inflate and the picture on the site shows putting water in it-which is not possible. I am very disappointed since I was going to use this during "this" summer with my grandchildren-rather it is unuseful. I sent for a large balloon

I sent for a large balloon, unaware the company was in China, capable of being sat on. That big. After 7 weeks I received a small green plastic ball with no instructions and no way to blow it up. Communication with Mdrnmint amounted to prewritten unhelpful replies. I could return the product to China but the cost was almost as high as the $54 I paid for it. Yes, that much. Finally I took it to a bicycle shop that kindly offered to help but after much effort determined the balloon was faulty and nit worth the effort. A complete disappointing disaster. Stay far away from this company.

Scam. I ordered a month ago and have not received the product. I tried to leave a review on their website, and it never showed up. The reviews are either fake or they only allow 5 start reviews. "Michael's" responses to requests for status are vague and don't give any information. The package has now been in LA for 5 days after being at the China airport for two weeks. Have to go out and get a different Christmas gift to replace this, which would probably be junk if I did receive it after seeing the reviews here. All the reviews on their site are stellar.

They said I checked some box -that didn't exist- saying I only wanted the shears. Now they have blocked my emails and I'm out my money!!! “The thermal conductivity of copper is 20 times that of stainless steel,” says Torner.

Copper mugs should be washed by hand with warm, soapy water, then rinsed and dried thoroughly. Some mugs are dishwasher-safe, but handwashing may prolong their finish.
