“Everything seems legit!”

Against better judgement of these reviews I booked a super cheap flight overseas with Travel Merry. I received my itinerary about a day after booking and everything looks kosher. I was able to confirm my flight with the airlines no problem. No unusual activity on my credit card either! So far so good! I will update if any issues arise!

“Horrible Company”

I wish we could leave negative stars. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unfortunately we didn't read up on them before booking our tickets. We have already spent at least 20 hours on the phone with them, trying to work out mistakes and accomplish simple tasks. They will not honor prices or information that they have given you. There is no way you will ever be able to speak to a supervisor (as they always seem to conveniently be on a call or in a meeting...) Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Don't think that because a ticket price is low that it is worth the good deal. I would have gladly paid more for our tickets and been spared the headache and wasted time.

The worst ticket buying experience! I got an expensive flight because the travel time was very short, it was important to me. Then they changed my tickets and I was arriving at my destination 3 hours later. The same ticket with the same long travel time was twice as cheap on expedia! The only reason why I got this expensive ticket is because I wanted to arrive earlier! I was on the phone with them for two days asking to cancel my flight and give me my money back. They even asked me to call the airline myself but gave me a number from some warehouse instead. Scammers! Stay away! My husband is a lawyer he will be taking this further because I asked him to. Hopefully he will close down this little "merry" scam shop!

They scammed me

They scammed me. I am hoping that the charge does not go through. Cancelled everything. I knew the second I heard an Indian person on the line tell me my fare had go up it was a problem. Have seen it happen to people online. This business should be fully banned from the internet.

Called me back with more expensive alternatives. Not helpful

Searched for a flight on Kayak and "Travel Merry" had the cheapest result (by far). I was a little suspicious, as I had never heard of them before. I also consulted this site, and saw a bunch of bad reviews. I saw some positive ones, though, so I figured I'd give it a go... As someone else had written, they sent me an email and called me back, asking for "more information". I called back and they offered me a bunch of alternatives, which were essentially connections I had already seen. I was like, "No, no, no. Please give me my money back". They said the credit card wasn't charged yet. I asked them to confirm the cancellation I requested. They did. That's the end of the story. I say save yourself the hassle. Or give it a go like I did. Perhaps you luck out, and the booking goes through right away...?

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company. My first time booking a flight and the flight option I selected for a week trip was magically changed to to a single day trip, when I submitted my payment. I was told that there was a glitch in the system from some Indian sounding gentleman with the name of Mason. I was able to cancel the flight and book another one however, I still needed to get my refund. After sending me three different confirmation emails that was suppose to confirm my refund, but instead of it reading how much I am suppose to be refunded it stated a refund of $0.00 is being processed. I called back the next day some guy calls me a liar that there was no glitch in the system, mind you I would have not even mentioned a glitch had Mason not told me that there was. Here I am going on day 28 of not receiving My Money, I have called and spoke to several people. They all told me different time frames that I should receive my money back with the last person I spoke to telling it would be 28 days, well today is the 28th day so I called and I was told that it would be 1-3 billing cycles before it would appear back in my account. First time booking and I have definitely learned a valuable lesson, book with the airlines.

Sketchy company

Chose them Through sky scanner. For a flight to London. The flight cost was 668$ When I clicked the purchase button . What I didn’t know was that They booked me for a basic fair which I didn’t request. Meaning we can’t choose our seats ahead of time, alter our reservation, plus we must pay for luggage fees . This flight in the end with their booking fees cost me 778 plus baggage fees . Had I known this I would have booked directly with United . They called me immediately after I booked the flight and asked me if I was willing to take a different flight (days or times for my travel) I said no I could not. They then finally booked my flight, but it took many hours to get my confirmation number. And I called a handful of times anxiously waiting for my confirmation number . And I was very very skeptical throughout my transaction. In the end the flight got confirmed . Check out reviews on yelp for more reviews on this company.

Smells like a scam

Smells like a scam. Book a ticket, then get a phone call that your flight is not available. They will change you to another flight for 'free'. Mind you that that other flight was cheaper to begin with. I suspect they keep the difference. Don't do it.

Not sure if this is a scam or not..

Not sure if this is a scam or not... was able to prevent $ from being withdrawn, but would on recommend risking it. Here is how my experience went yesterday; As I was entering my information for a ticket purchase, a chat window appeared, stating I could get a cheaper, unpublished fare for my specific trip, with a booking code I was to use to call their office. I called, got run-around, and was being pressured to buy the same trip for nearly $500 MORE than the published fare I was looking at. Obviously did not purchase that one, but rather finished purchasing the fare online. Once purchased, I got 2 emails confirming the purchase and details of my trip. Shortly after, I got a phone call from a customer svc person asking me to confirm all the trip details for the trip I had already paid for. I did this verbally, going through each leg, and confirming it was correct. He asked me to respond to the email, and I did, with him on the phone. A bit later he called again, insisting I confirm. Same person. I pointed out that I had done so both verbally and by reply to the email sent to me, even telling him that I stated in my reply that all was correct. He was like a broken record, insisting on an email response. I responded AGAIN, to BOTH emails I was sent. He just kept up with the insistence I was not confirming. I finally asked that the ticket be immediately cancelled, monies refunded, and if I did not see that as being the case by this morning, I would be filing charges for wire fraud, and filing a formal complaint with the FTC and other appropriate authorities wherever I discovered their company to be based. He argued, I calmly re-stated the position, and hung up. This morning I got verification of the cancellation and verified with card that the transaction has not processed, though I will keep watching. Something VERY sketchy going on here.

I normally look through skyscanner for my flights and never had any issues... It was my first time picking Travel Merry for the cheapest tickets to Europe. Although, I didn't have any issues with purchasing the ticket, I had THREE unauthorized purchases with my credit card after purchasing my flight ticket. I wouldn't book with them again since there happens to be a security leak in their system.

Never use this terrible provider, you book a flight and 2 days later they said it was sold out to cancel then try to get you to book a flight on a different date. Total scam / incompetent website

They are liers! don't order a flight with them. my flight was cancelled and they never refunded me.

Never use them for booking flights. My flight got cancelled and no intimation was provided. They agreed to a partial change of flight from the airlines without keeping me in loop and was never worried that the customer dint have a final flight to reach the destination. Their customer service is useless and have no intention to help you out.

Terrible Service: Unfair Pricing Practices If I could leave, the zero stars, I would. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Travel Mary. I fully paid for a flight, only to be informed the next day that my booking wouldn't be processed due to a pricing error on their end. They then insisted I rebook at triple the original price. This practice not only seems unfair but also left me paying significantly more than if I had chosen another company. I urge caution to potential customers to avoid similar situations.

They got me! Indian-based scam/scum company. Wish I'd taken a moment to do a quick check before assuming the providers listed on Skyscanner were legit. Expensive and time-wasted lesson!

If i could choose 0 stars I would! This is the worstt and I mean the worst company ever. Everyone working are uneducated , unprofessional individuals! They do NOT care about customers. They had been lying to me for 2 months now stating that they had processed my refund due to my flight never being available for that day! I went to the airport and was told that no flights are available for today. Called them they said oh you have to call the flight company straight and they need to help . They said that they never got paid through travelmerry and that is why they were unable To assist me . Called them back finally they tried being normal and not to look more stupid they said they will process money back since i did not want to book anything with them anymore and the days they offered was not good for me I said thank you and now after months nothing every time I call they say oh we processed any minute you will get money back . Nothing after 2 months now I have called my bank and claimed through them ! They are absolute scamssss DO not use this company!

I wish I could give them a Zero star but seriously a complete waste of time and then they sell your card details to other websites. Straight ass frauds. Try booking tickets from them and getting charged from random websites later.

I have never written a Yelp review complaining about any company. But this was such a sketchy and mind boggling exchange that we had to warn others. My partner bought us tickets to Boston through this utter bullshit company and we spent the next several hours trying to get them cancelled after they sent a gazillion emails trying to get WAY more money for some other flights. Wondering if the cancellation was actual, we felt deeply compelled to cancel the cc as well. AVOID THESE CREEPS.

Samuel truly impressed me

Samuel truly impressed me! I was worried about my flight getting cancelled. He assisted me through out the whole process. This is my first trip out the country. I wanted to make an overnight stop. I gave him the time he was able to exceed my expectations. The first time I called the guy was rude he stated my flight was canceled basically “there’s nothing he can do I had to go online to book again seats were filled. I went online booked again called that’s when Samuel took ownership in my problem. Thank you Samuel 10/10 you were a superstar!

Cheap Airfare & Hassle Free Booking

I was looking for a cheap flight back from Miami to Manchester after a cruise and came across this website which was significantly cheaper that booking direct with Lufthansa. ($3,000 dollars direct with LH vs. $240 with Travel Merry!) - I was somewhat apprehensive with such a difference in price but I went for it anyway. Pleased to say all booked for two passengers and confirmation within 3 hours of making the payment. I can login to Lufthansa's official site and manage my booking. One thing to note is this is an "Economy Light" ticket which does not include checked in baggage - In fairness to Travel Merry they stated this before booking. I was able to add two 23kg backs via the Lufthansa website at $70 per bag - it's a one off payment per bag and includes any connecting route. Just make sure you do your research and understand the fare you are booking beforehand.

Horrible...

Horrible... They offered through skyscanner a good ticket price then you never receive a flight confirmation and when you call them to ask for your flight confirmation they increase your price. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE... what I dont understand is why skyscanner let them advertise through them with too many complaints?

Booked via Skyscanner and immediately they call and ask for $100 as the "price has changed" then when I pushed back they offered only "$50 more"... Scammers... I heard the other agent in the same room was doing the same scam to another customer, this is their business model: attract customers with low price and then squeeze them out for as much as they can... Stay away and report to BBB to close this scambag.

SCAM!!! Travel Mary will tell you that they've got flights that are cheaper but then when you call to check on the flight, they actually did not book it and they're waiting for the flight price to go down so that they can make money off of the difference. They will scam you and if they do not find a way for them to make money off of the difference with the flight, then you will have your flight canceled. THIS IS NOT A LEGIT WEBSITE!!!!

Will scan you at some point

I booked a one-way to Manila. While the ticket price remained the same and the tickets were valid, I noticed fraudulent activity on my debit card while on vacation. It really sucks to have to cancel a card while on vacation, but thankfully I am able to resolve this problem quickly. Do NOT book through these guys.

Booked a flight, paid! Then 14 hours later, they call and say the flight is full and they want to reschedule me. 10 hours later, multiple phone calls back and forth, I finally pay. Soon after, they call to ask for an additional $200+, they changed my airline and cannot negotiate for a lower rate; I ask them to cancel immediately and call the bank to reverse payment. 30 minutes later, I have a ticket after calling the airline directly - SUCH A WASTE OF PEOPLE'S TIME & RESOURCES! KEEP OFF FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

BIG TIME SCAMM GOING ON !!

I just booked a ticket with these guys and since 5-6 days it's showing the price of $6338 from lax to del on December 12th to Jan 6, 4 passengers 2 adults 2 kids. I finally booked and paid with my credit card, this guy named Bret called me and started asking for $7600 so that he can confirm my ticket. What kind of ethics is this? these guys display this price and change it so much. That's ethically wrong and such a big fraud. Shame on the company. Super disappointed customer service. *NEVER EVER BOOK FROM THIS COMPANY *

Very frustrating to work with

I wouldn't say I got scammed, but it sure seemed like they were attempting to do so. Many suspicious things going on with tickets after they were bought. They wrote the names wrong, they said we were on a waiting list, even though the flight was 5 months away, then they said the airlines canceled the fliglht. Each time I was on hold for a long time or it took days to resolve. I did get my money refunded for the cancellation though.

Absolute con AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Absolute con. Avoid at all costs. I booked yesterday after finding this deal via skyscanner. After completing the order, the travelmerry website said it was 'processing'. Today I got a call from travelmerry saying very quickly, "That fare is no longer available, the new price is $300 more than before. We assume this is okay and can proceed." I said no absolutely not I already bought the tickets for the advertised price you have to deliver. I was told this class of ticket wasn't available and I wouldn't find a cheaper alternative shopping around. "Its just the holiday you see". I told him to cancel it and instead booked the ticket on trip.com, saving hundreds of dollars. This is a disgraceful business model.

DONOT waste your time with this travels

these guys are so unprofessional, don't even respond properly. someone Jaxon Lewis guaranteed me that he will get me a ticket after i blocked and after repeatedly contacting them, finally another guy Brett told me that the ticket cannot be confirmed. and i have wasted 3 days of my time with these guys. Absolutely unprofessional and wont recommend any one to go with them.

Don't look at their price, If you have any issue with your ticket or flight you will be in trouble.

Very unprofessional customer service. The supervisor was so rude. I have had one of my worst experiences in buying a ticket. My flight canceled and the airline issued a full refund to the agency but the agency didn't issue a full refund. I do not use this agency even their price might look good.

Same as Social Security Scammers Today earlier i booked a ticket from TravelMarry through skyscann. The price looked very reasonable and i booked it. it was $546.44 to Turkey from JFK with one of the Major Airlines . 15 mins after i booked my ticket a guy with an Indian accent with American name:) named Shawn Williams called me and said that we couldn't find a plane with the airlines you booked earlier instead we will book you an another flight which is only $1250.00 with another Airlines. Luckily, i was able to call my bank and warned them and cancel any transaction from them. So, they are scammers and time wasters. Stay away from this ppl. Pay a bit more and travel with a known agency.

The worst of the worst

The worst of the worst. If your flight has any trouble (date change, cancellation etc.) -and these are the most common things during the pandemic- good luck with any change. The customer service doesn't pick up the phones, and when they do, it's soo difficult to communicate. And let's say you are luck enough not to hear your own voice's echo, this time they are not gonna solve your problem because they are usually not in synch with the airlines. My airlines emailed me that my flight has been cancelled and I can cancel the ticket, but they keep saying 'no sir everything is fine.' This is my return ticket btw, I had the very same problem with the first ticket as well. I just wish I had paid a hundred bucks more to get the ticket directly from the airlines.
