20200305 Travel Bags.jpg

The proper golf travel bag is necessary for anyone hitting the road. Wheels to allow you to move through the airport with minimum effort is also key.

If you're reading this, it's not too late. You've likely done the hard part—booking your next golf trip. Now you need to figure out how to get your golf clubs safely to your destination. The Sun Mountain ClubGlider Meridian is large enough to hold anything from a standard carry bag to the largest of cart bags. At the airport, the pivoting wheels make maneuvering through check-in a breeze.

As a regular golfer, I must say that the OGIO Fuse 2024 Stand Bag is a superb choice for players who value portability and convenience on the course. When I tested it, I found it lightweight, sturdy, and spacious. It actually looks super high-end in the flesh as well.

I noticed the 5-way top and seven smartly placed pockets, which include a large apparel pocket and an insulated water bottle pocket. This is a particularly cool feature, especially in hot weather. Its design exudes a contemporary appeal that sets it apart from others.

However, compared to heavier-duty bags like the OGIO Silencer 2024, the Fuse 2024 might lack some durability. This bag offers a unique 8-way Woode top that provides added protection and organization for your clubs. Its hybrid design makes it suitable for both cart use and walking the course.

The Woode 8 Hybrid is stylish and durable, and offers ample storage with six pockets, including a large apparel pocket and an insulated water bottle pocket. Its main drawbacks are its higher price point and limited color options. However, for the versatility it offers, it’s worth considering.

  • Modern and durable design
  • May be bulkier than other covers
  • Large main compartment
  • Multiple grab handles
  • Smooth rolling wheels
  • Padded interior
  • Reinforced corners

Ok, so this is not technically a golf bag, but it is a handy thing to own nonetheless! From personal experience, I can confidently recommend the OGIO Alpha Travel Cover to golfers frequently on the move. I used this on a recent golf trip to Portugal, and it protected my clubs nicely.

It was also easy to fit other items in its padded interior (golfers that travel know filling up the golf bag is a must to save on carry-on weight). The design combines durability with modern aesthetics, standing up to the rigors of travel while maintaining a stylish look.

It is plain black, so if you are not great at sighting your checked bags once you arrive, you might miss it. Especially in popular golf destination airports where conveyor belts are packed with them! However, the convenience and club security offered by the Alpha Travel Cover outweighs these minor issues, making it an excellent choice for traveling golfers.

The OGIO Alpha Travel Cover is a great fit for golfers who often travel for their games and require reliable protection for their clubs. Its multiple grab handles, rolling wheels, and reinforced corners make it an ideal choice for golfers needing both practicality and protection during their travels.

What to Consider When Buying an OGIO Golf Bag

fuse stand bag

When it comes to purchasing the right OGIO stand bag, there are several factors to consider. The perfect bag for you largely depends on your individual needs and preferences.

Here are a few key features to consider:

One of the first things to consider is the bag’s material. Women’s and men’s OGIO golf bags are known for their durability, often due to the materials’ quality. Many bags are crafted with rugged fabrics like Cordura Eco, which is known for its strength and environmental friendliness.

In addition, many OGIO golf stand bags feature weather-resistant or waterproof materials to protect your gear in all types of weather conditions.

The bag’s amount and type of storage is another essential factor. Do you need a bag with multiple full-length dividers, or will a simpler layout suffice? Some golfers may require a bag with specialized pockets  for items like rangefinders, coolers, or even a specific place for each club.

The bag’s weight can significantly affect your comfort, especially if you plan on carrying it throughout your rounds. OGIO offers bags with varying weights, from lightweight stand bags  to heavier cart bags. Remember that a lighter bag may compromise storage space or durability, so it’s all about finding the right balance for your needs.

If you plan on carrying your OGIO cart bag, you should pay attention to the strap system. Many OGIO carry bags have fully adjustable and padded shoulder straps for optimal comfort. Some bags offer dual straps that distribute weight evenly across your back, reducing strain during longer rounds.

OGIO offers bags across various price points. While some premium bags  may have a higher price tag, they often provide superior materials, more features, and better construction. On the other hand, OGIO also offers budget-friendly options that still provide essential features for a comfortable round of golf. Check out our definitive list of the best value golf bags .

While function is crucial, style is a personal preference. OGIO golf cart bags come in various colors and designs, from sleek, modern aesthetics to more traditional looks. Some golfers prefer classic designs, while others look for bold colors or patterns. It’s always worth considering whether they are easy to clean .

Remember, the best golf bag for you depends on your individual needs and preferences. Take the time to consider what features are most important to you before making your purchase.

While there are plenty of storage options for safely traveling with your clubs, we tested the best golf travel bags based on qualities like durability, portability, and capacity.

We love a gold bag that is made with durable materials with plenty of padding to ensure that your clubs make it to your destination safely. We were able to fit clubs, clothes, golf balls, and other accessories into our bags without any issues. Whether you’re looking for a hardside case or a budget-friendly bag, we found options for a variety of categories to fit the needs of all golfers.

Best Overall

Club glove last bag large pro.

It’s built to last with single webbing reinforcement and burst-proof construction.

The bag weighs more than 10 pounds.

The Club Glove Last Bag Large Pro golf travel bag is one of the best-made travel bags we've seen. Fit for a weekend golf getaway , the bag can comfortably fit a set of clubs in a standard-size carrier, golf balls, shirts, shorts, towels, and two pairs of golf shoes between the main compartment and two exterior pockets. Despite the 45-pound weight after packing, we thought the balance was evenly distributed throughout the bag and the inline skate wheels rolled smoothly and felt sturdy due to the plastic wheelbase that is designed for high-impact travel. We noted the high-quality feel of the water-resistant nylon material that adds durability to the bag, which truly feels like it will last a lifetime.

The bag is outfitted with self-lubricating YKK zippers and ITW Nexus buckles that come from a manufacturer that makes military-grade hoops, locks, and buckles. An aluminum stiff arm to reinforce the padded protection for impact during traveling is included. We flew with this bag twice in one month of testing, and it still looks like it just came out of the box. The durability, functionality, and sleek design of the Club Glove Last Bag Large Pro Golf Travel Bag make it well worth the price for golfers that are planning to travel with their clubs.

Best Budget

Caddydaddy constrictor 2 travel cover.

This affordable bag has large pockets that can store all of your extra gear.

The sides aren't padded, so you may want to add cushioning to protect your clubs.

For frequent travelers or golfers who want an affordable bag that can store even their bulkiest gear, this CaddyDaddy bag is the perfect option. Not only is the bag itself large enough to store all of your clubs, but we love that it also features side pockets big enough to pack your shoes and even extra clothing. Even with all of this space, the bag still doesn't feel bulky.

The fabric is thick and well-stitched. Made of thick rubber and nylon, we feel confident this bag won't break, tear, or otherwise fall apart, making it a great value — and it's the lowest priced option on this list. To give you added peace of mind, it comes with a one-year full replacement warranty so you can test it for yourself.

The Details: 27.5 x 18.9 x 14.5 inches | 9 pounds | Wheeled | Nylon and rubber

Most Spacious

Caddydaddy golf club travel cover with wheels.

The interior has tons of room for clothing or shoes in addition to golf clubs.

It has straps that are slightly uncomfortable.

The CaddyDaddy First Class Premium Padded Golf Club Travel Cover has tons of space for not only clubs, but also golf shoes, clothing, and anything else you would ever need on a golf trip. Since the golf travel bag weighs 10 pounds, golfers can pack up to 40 pounds of clubs, clothes, and other accessories before reaching the general 50-pound checked bag limit for most airlines. We loved the spacious side pockets for toiletries and golf shoes, as well as the well-placed straps that can be tucked in during traveling to prevent damage.

The weight of the golf bag is mostly evenly balanced, and the wheels and handles make it easy to carry and maneuver; however, the top handle could have been a little more comfortable. The materials and the zippers of the bag feel durable and well-made. We're confident that this bag would last a very long time and would not be something you'd have to worry about replacing anytime soon.

The Details: 51 x 13 x 15 inches | 10 pounds | Wheeled | Nylon

Best Softside

Sun mountain clubglider meridian travel cover.

There are fold-out legs in the center with wheels that make rolling this softside bag even easier.

Travelers might want to consider a stiff arm for added protection.

For golfers looking for a simple yet functional golf travel bag, the Sun Mountain ClubGlider Meridian Travel Cover is a solid softside option. The design of the bag includes everything you need for a hassle-free packing and travel experience, including a spacious interior for a cart or stand bag, two exterior pockets, and a pull-out leg mechanism with an additional pair of wheels besides the ones at the bottom of the bag. We found it very easy to collapse the legs in and out, and the bag rolled a lot more smoothly than expected.

The high-quality, durable feel of the handles on the front, bottom, and middle of the bag equally impressed us by making it a breeze to lift and maneuver comfortably. While the nylon exterior material and padding feel sturdy and durable, the bag would likely only protect golf clubs against low-impact hits.

Most Durable

Club glove collegiate travel cover with stiff arm.

It comes with a stiff arm to protect the heads of the clubs.

Packing the clubs was a tight fit with the length.

Traveling by air with golf clubs can be risky considering the potential for rough handling that comes with checking in luggage , but the Club Glove Last Bag Collegiate Travel Cover with Stiff Arm is made of high-quality materials and includes a stiff arm that is designed to protect gear from hard impact. The adjustable stiff arm is made of nylon plastic and lightweight aluminum, and although it doesn’t take up much room, we had to jostle the bag to get the stiff arm in with the golf clubs. With the smaller interior, we appreciated the two large exterior pockets that can fit some additional items like shoes, clothing, or sunscreen . The fully packed bag is comfortable to carry with top, bottom, and middle straps that evenly distribute the weight of the lengthy bag, and we liked how it can stand up on its own.

After flying with this Club Glove design, there weren’t any scuffs or damage to the bag. The exterior of the bag is made of water-resistant ballistic nylon fabric, and the backing has single webbing reinforcement — a common fabric used for climbing, military gear, and parachutes.

Best Portability

Izzo golf high roller.

There are six wheels on the bottom of the bag so you can roll it upright.

It feels slightly top-heavy.

The Izzo High Roller golf bag impressed us with how easy it was to transport by wheeling or carrying it. The six wheels on the bottom of the bag make it possible to push or pull it while it's standing upright. In addition, the bag can collapse down to just 12 inches for easy storage while traveling or at home.

While the bag felt a little top-heavy while we wheeled through an airport, the handles made it easy to lift and hold onto while rolling the bag. Even if the bag were to fall over, it has a solid amount of protective padding on the inside and outside, and it’s made with tear-resistant nylon that feels sturdy and durable. The interior of the bag is large enough for golf clubs and extra shirts, and the exterior pocket is big enough for a pair of golf shoes, but it was a tighter fit than we would’ve preferred. We think the Izzo High Roller bag is perfect for golfers who could benefit from having exceptional portability and durability while traveling through airports.

Best Hybrid

Caddydaddy golf travel bag cover with hard case top.

Only the top half is made with a hardside material, which makes storing the bag much easier.

It feels top-heavy when you're carrying it.

The CaddyDaddy Enforcer Golf Travel Bag Cover With Hard Case Top is designed with traveling golfers in mind, especially those who live in big cities with limited storage space. This golf bag has a unique design in which the top half is a hardside case and the bottom half is softside. The partial hardside design gives you the protection you want for your clubs, and we love how the bag can compress into itself, making it more space efficient for storing when not in use.

The exterior of the bag has two pockets for storing balls or shoes, and although there aren’t any pockets on the inside, there was a good amount of room left over for clothes. Though the hardside top makes it slightly top heavy, the bag maneuvers well on the inline skate wheels at the bottom, while the top, bottom, and center handle make it easy to lift the bag into a car or onto a weight scale at the airport.

The Details: 51 x 13 x 13 inches | 9 pounds | Wheeled | Nylon

Best Lightweight

Tourtrek tc pro travel cover.

This bag feels lightweight whether you're pushing it or pulling it over a variety of surfaces.

The interior of the bag could be bigger.

The TourTrek TC Pro Travel Cover offers an abundance of protective padding and excellent portability. We think this bag is a fantastic value thanks to durable design and interior space that’s roomy enough for a set of golf clubs and two mesh pockets for accessories, as well as an exterior pocket for a pair of shoes. The cushioning is very generous, and the bag feels protective and sturdy with 360-degree padding to keep your golf clubs safe whether you’re traveling by air or car. The handles are padded as well, making them comfortable to hold onto while lifting or rolling the bag. And it includes a lock and key set for an additional layer of security and peace of mind.

Weighing just 6.6 pounds, this golf travel bag is lightweight and takes up less of the allotted 50-pound weight maximum that most airlines limit checked bags to. While we think the interior could be a little bit bigger, this golf travel bag has high-quality features that lead us to believe it will protect golf clubs through rough travels and last a long time with prolonged use, too.

Best Design

Stitch multi use traveler.

It's incredibly portable and easy to maneuver.

The bag is not very padded.

The Stitch Multi Use Traveler (or MUT) is really unique for a travel golf bag. It fits a ton of gear including shoes, outerwear, and accessories. When we checked this bag to bring it on a trip to Florida, it held six pairs of shoes, two rain jackets , a dopp kit, and plenty of golf balls and towels, in addition to the golf clubs. The design is where this bag shines — its nylon exterior is durable but has a premium look; the orange zippers pop and make it easy to spot on an oversize luggage pile; and the handles are in convenient, cohesive places.

The wheels are great, and while it occasionally felt imbalanced, we think that was due to overpacking as we found it much easier to maneuver the bag when packed with clubs alone. While the bag is not padded, it is made of durable, sturdy nylon that doesn't show scuffs or minor tears.

Best Splurge

Tumi sport golf travel case.

This Tumi bag is spacious and rolls easily.

We wish it had more internal pockets to help with organization.

We flew with this bag carrying clubs in a standard golf cart bag, shoes, hats, a speaker , and a few other accessories. The case was easy to drag through the parking lot, into the airport tram, and up and down escalators. The wheels were slick and easily turned around reasonably tight corners and around slow airport travelers. Additionally, the side handles are convenient for lifting the case up horizontally to put it in and out of vehicles. It was also easy to pull on and off of the baggage claim belt as a result of the handles and big wheels at the bottom of the case.

The external zippers have very long pulls that were easy to maneuver and slide around the case. The clubs themselves are secured by two straps with a standard quick release buckle on a one-inch nylon strap. The main compartment is padded all around and has as special layer of padding for the club heads. Padding around the club heads is important because in transit they can typically bang together/bang into other external objects and become damaged. This is not something we worried about at all using this case. The exterior of the case did have some scruffs and scrapes after landing, but the fact that all internal items were well-protected makes this a high-quality choice.

Travel + Leisure / Michael Weisbaum

We had our expert Travel + Leisure golfers take 21 golf travel bags on the road to find out which ones will keep your clubs safe whether you’re flying or driving. We evaluated the bags by flying, driving, walking around, and carrying the bags, taking detailed notes on the capacity, design, durability, and portability.

Our team members packed their golf clubs into the travel bags and noted how easy it was to place the clubs into them and if there was room leftover for clothes, shoes, golf balls, or other accessories between the main compartment and any pockets. While packing the bags, we checked the quality of the zippers and buckles, as well as how much padding there was and if it felt sufficient for protecting the clubs. We looked for spacious bags that had extra room leftover after packing our golf clubs. We also loved the bags that had thoughtful and intuitive features that had golfers in mind because they made packing easier.

After packing up the travel bags, our traveling golfers tested portability by carrying and wheeling the bags to get a feel for how they maneuvered. The top performing bags for portability were exceptionally easy to lift and wheel with comfortable, padded straps and handles. The most durable bags stood up well to car and plane travel, with no damage to the exterior or items on the interior. We determined that the bags with the best value performed as or better than expected given the price, especially pricier bags that needed robust justification for the cost.

Other Golf Travel Bags We Liked

While we found plenty of well-performing golf travel bags, there were a few that almost made our list of best golf travel bags but fell short during testing.

Samsonite Golf Deluxe 3-piece Travel Set : The bag is functional and has a sleek design, but there isn’t much padding, and the zippers are plastic, which made us question the durability of the bag while flying.

Samsonite Hard Side Golf Case : This hardside case feels durable, but it doesn't have much give, so it was a tight fit to get the golf clubs in, and the case is difficult to store since it can’t break down.

Amazon Basics Soft-sided Golf Travel Bag : This bag is very affordable but has an unstructured bottom, so it can't stand up on its own.

SKB Cases ATA Deluxe Standard Hard Travel Golf Case : This case was built to withstand a lot of rough handling and has TSA-approved locks, but can become heavy due to its thick plastic.

Bag Boy Golf T10 Hard Top Cover : For minimalist golfers, this simple bag fits just what you need, but won't give you room for extra equipment or gear.

Other Golf Gear You May Need

When you're heading out for a long day on the course, be sure you're prepared with everything you need, from sunscreen to golf pants , to ensure you stay completely focused on enjoying the game.

Titleist Players Flex Men’s Golf Glove : These high-performance gloves are a classic for a reason. The cabretta leather is silky smooth, offering optimal comfort and breathability so your hands won't sweat midswing. Plus, the Satin Net materials across the knuckles provide plenty of flexibility.

Peter Millar Solid Performance Jersey Polo : If you're someone who gets caught up in the game and forgets to reapply sunscreen, this golf shirt is for you. Not only is it made of moisture-wicking materials available in 13 vibrant colors, but it also provides UPF 50+ sun protection so you can stay safe without even thinking about it.

Adidas Men's Tour360 22 Golf Shoes : These shoes provide excellent cushioning to keep you comfortable all day long and still feature 11 metal spikes for traction and grip. They're also designed with roomy toe boxes and heel reinforcement to ensure your foot stays in place.

Tips for Buying a Golf Travel Bag

Consider buying a stiff arm .

Whether you’re buying a hardside or softside golf travel bag, a stiff arm can add another layer of protection to your golf clubs. A stiff arm is usually an adjustable metal rod with a plastic disc at the the top of it that extends longer than the driver or longest golf club. The rod is placed into a golf bag to absorb the hit if the bag is tossed around, and it prevent the clubs from being directly impacted.

Hardside versus softside

When looking for a travel golf bag, you'll want to look at durability and padding. Both hardside and softside golf travel bags can prevent damage to your golf clubs while traveling and are a worthwhile investment for golfers that travel several times per year. As with luggage, hardside bags have a firm exterior generally made of materials like polycarbonate, whereas softside bags are a bit more flexible and made of soft materials like nylon.

A hardside bag can get more scuffed than a softside golf bag, but you might not need to buy a stiff arm since a hard case offers a more structured layer of protection. On the other hand, a softside bag might need extra protection like a stiff arm, but it’s easier to store a soft bag than a bulky hardside case that you can't flatten or fold down. Some airlines will only cover damaged or lost clubs that are in a hardside case, so be sure to check with the airline to find out the exact policies.

Look at the types of wheels

From upright wheels to inline skate wheels, golf bags are created with a variety of options to make transport easier for all types of players. You should look at wheels that will smoothly and easily roll over different terrains without adding weight to the overall bag.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll want to make sure your golf bag and clubs can fit in a travel bag. While you don’t want to squeeze your clubs inside, you won’t want them swimming in a roomy case either. It helps to wrap club heads in a towel or other soft fabric to prevent the irons from banging together in transit. If there is extra room in your travel bag, stuffing the sides with more clothing or towels can help keep everything in place, especially if you’re flying. If you can remove and cover the club heads, that can further prevent damage to your gear. Some travel golf bags also have space for shoes and accessories, so be sure to utilize pockets to keep your gear organized and separated.

Every airline will be different, but most follow the same policies as regular checked luggage regarding weight and size limitations. The weight limit for checked luggage, including golf clubs, is almost always 50 pounds or less. If your bag weighs more, there will likely be a surcharge fee. Airlines also have different restrictions and policies for packing golf shoes or balls in your bag, and coverage for lost golf bags can be dependent on the type of golf travel bag. For peace of mind, consider securing an AirTag holder with a tracker to your golf bag.

Generally, airlines do not pay travelers for damaged golf clubs. Some, like American Airlines , may compensate if the equipment traveled in a hardside case that is visibly damaged and was properly packed, but you should always check your specific airline's policies before flying to guarantee safe and secure travel.

OGIO offers sleek and incredibly clever designs that provide practical solutions for individuals on the go. With sports enthusiasts, motorcyclists, and long-distance thrill-seekers in mind, this brand offers mid- to high-range bags and backpacks of top-notch quality.

Ogio luggage and bags

OGIO (pronounced oh-joe) was the brainchild of Michael J. Pratt, who realized that most of his own gym bags merely offered big open spaces with the occasional pocket on the side.

Feeling that such a basic design made his gear feel disorganized, he sat down at his drafting table and began to design a gym bag that offered a more practical storage solution for sports lovers, extreme athletes, and golfers everywhere.

Ogio pockets

With a name that literally stands for “our gear is organized,” it should be no surprise that the brand became well-known in luggage for being able to offer unique designs with problem-solving features .

Combining seamless design with cutting-edge technology, the brand now routinely features a rugged structural load equalizing deck ( SLED ) on its rolling luggage and golf bags. It also has a zipperless ball pocket that allows the user to open the bag with 1 hand.

Ogio material

As the brand grew, OGIO gathered top athletes from across the nation from moto, BMX, skate, snow, and surf to work alongside designers to create specific action sports bags and backpacks.

It quickly became apparent that the unique selling point of the OGIO brand was to focus on gear bag technology and backpack innovation that turned big but boring bags into practical solutions for the action sports industry.

Ogio zippers

Über-cool and incredibly practical, the technology behind OGIO bags is now just as useful on the daily commute as it is on the golf course.

Ogio tablet compartment

Ogio Golf Bags Reviews: (Good or Over-Hyped?)

Table of Content

What are Ogio Golf Bags?

Is ogio a good golf brand, what kind of golf bags does ogio make, are ogio golf bags waterproof, is ogio owned by callaway, where are ogio golf bags made, does ogio have a lifetime warranty.

Choosing the right golf bag requires a fair amount of research and thought. After all, there are so many brands to choose from, and every bag has unique design features.

One brand that has gained popularity in recent years is Ogio. The preferred choice of several players on the PGA Tour, Ogio bags are built to high specifications and look great. But why are they rated so highly? (and could they be over-hyped?)

In the following sections, we explain what’s so good about Ogio golf bags and help you decide if they’re the ideal addition to your golf locker this season.

Ogio produces a range of high-quality golf bags that come in a broad range of funky designs and colors. The brand is also known for its duffel and travel bags, and Ogio also produces a range of winter sports bags for skiing and snowboarding, among other sports.

OGIO Golf Fuse 4 Stand Bag (Warp Speed)

Another key distinction of Ogio’s range is the stunning colors and designs that their golf bags are renowned for. When you arrive at the golf course, you will turn heads for all the right reasons as you load your Ogio bag onto your golf cart!

But what’s so special about the Ogio brand? And are their golf bags worth the price? Let’s take a deeper dive into the Ogio range and answer these questions once and for all.

Ogio is an excellent brand as far as golf bags are concerned, and the company has recently diversified into various other sporting markets. Ogio retails golf bags alongside winter sports bags, and they have received lots of highly-rated reviews for durability, appearance, and practicality.

You can pick up an Ogio golf bag whether you walk or ride the course, as there are several options for you to consider. As well as choice, one thing that helps Ogio stand out from the competition is the technology used within their golf bags .

Ogio’s golf bags boast durable waterproof construction, which keeps out moisture and protects your golf equipment even during the heaviest of storms. Ogio’s fabric is also protective and won’t suffer from damage from wind shear.

Ultimately, if you’re looking for a brand-new golf bag this season and want something a little different from the standard offerings of the traditional golf retailers, Ogio is undoubtedly a brand that is well worth your consideration.

Callaway OGIO 2021 WOODE 15 Cart Bag , RADAR WAVES

The Fuse stand bags are among Ogio’s most popular bags, and they come in a broad range of colors and designs to suit players at all levels of the game.

They’re extremely lightweight and come with a comfortable carry strap, ensuring you don’t experience issues when carrying your bag out on the course.

If you typically use a golf cart or a push cart, you might be better suited to a hybrid or cart bag, which is slightly heavier and come with more compartments for your golf gear.

Whichever type of bag you choose, you can be confident that Ogio’s collection is high quality and looks great.

Also, if you regularly play at different golf courses, you can invest in an Ogio travel bag that keeps your golf clubs safe and secure when transporting them from course to course.

Yes, Ogio golf bags are waterproof. Ogio’s Aquatech comprises durable waterproof construction that locks all moisture out of your golf bag, keeping all of your equipment safe and dry if you get caught up in a storm out on the golf course.

Ogio golf bags are made from 420D nylon waterproof fabric and come with water-resistant zippers and closure systems. Not only does the fabric prevent water from permeating through, but the zips also ensure that water is unable to seep through into your pockets.

As well as waterproof golf bags, Ogio retails a range of waterproof clothes that you can add to your golf bag in preparation for the arrival of the rain.

OGIO All Elements Rain Pant, Charcoal, Small

Yes, Ogio is part of the Callaway family of brands, joining the likes of Odyssey, TravisMatthew, and Jack Wolfskin. Callaway bought Ogio in 2017 in a deal worth around $75 million.

Ogio’s range is thought to contribute around $45 million each year to Callaway, further adding to the company’s reputation as one of the biggest brands in golf.

Before the Callaway acquisition, Ogio was a family-run business founded by Michael J. Pratt, who started by developing a sports locker tote bag that he named ‘the cube.’

Ogio stands for ‘our gear is organized,’ and the company has long had a stellar reputation for producing high-quality golf bags that help players keep everything in order out on the course.

Now under the control of Callaway, Ogio manufactures products primarily for golfers but is also active in sports, including snowboarding, skateboarding, and BMX, and the brand often appears as a sponsor in many of these sports.

Golfers including Kevin Streelman and Aaron Baddeley have used Ogio bags in recent seasons, and as a result, Ogio has enjoyed a big boost in reputation with recreational players.

Although there are so many branded golf bags to choose from, Ogio presents a great option, and the fact that it’s part of the Callaway family adds that little bit of trust that you will be receiving a top-quality product.

Although Ogio does not disclose where its bags are made, the company is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The company had a long and proud tradition of manufacturing high-quality sports bags and apparel from its Utah base, which contributed to its reputation as a proud, all-American company.

Now that Ogio is under the Callaway umbrella of companies, we can only assume that much of its manufacturing still takes place in Utah.

Still, Callaway itself manufactures most of its apparel from Carlsbad, California, so there may be a crossover between the two locations.

One thing that you often have to guard against when ordering golf equipment and apparel that is made abroad is the quality.

But given that Ogio is an American brand with so many positive reviews, you can add an Ogio bag to your golf club locker safe in the knowledge that it’s built to last.

Ogio bags are also covered by an impressive warranty, as we explain below.

No, Ogio does not have a lifetime warranty, but all golf products are covered by a two-year warranty from the original date of purchase. The warranty is extensive and covers the price against defects in material and workmanship.

The Ogio warranty is generous and fair, highlighting the confidence that the company has in its production of high-quality golf equipment and apparel.

Just be mindful of the fact that the two-year warranty is only applicable to purchases made in the US and Canada.

If you purchased your Ogio golf bag from an international retailer, you would have to check the terms and conditions of your purchase carefully before contacting Ogio.

So, given that Ogio golf bags are made to exceptionally high standards, look great, and come with a two-year warranty as standard, they’re an excellent option for any recreational golfer looking for a new carry or cart bag this season.

Long before the Callaway acquisition, Ogio bags had an impressive reputation for being durable, waterproof, and attractive.

But since becoming one of the latest additions to the Callaway family, Ogio bags have enjoyed even more popularity with golfers at all levels of the game.

So, whether you’re in the market for a new stand or carry bag this season, Ogio is undoubtedly a brand that you can’t afford to ignore.

Ogio has a strong reputation when it comes to golf bags, but a large portion of its business is in the travel sector. If you are looking for backpacks, duffel bags, or a specific travel case, the Ogio brand has you covered. In addition, they make some golf club travel covers or bags that are also worth trying. Here is some feedback on my testing of this bag so that you can see if it could be the best option for you.

Ogio Alpha Golf Travel Bag Features and Benefits

When I first took the Ogio Alpha Travel Bag out of the box, I wasn’t all that impressed. The Ogio golf bags always have great features and designs, and I was hoping for just a bit more with the Ogio Alpha. However, throughout the testing process, the product did quite well, earning a total of 4.30 out of 5 in our rating system.

The overall features of the Ogio Alpha Travel bag are rather basic. It has everything you need to protect your golf equipment but nothing that is really over the top. It’s important to mention that the overall pricing is also more fair than something that offers overall premium protection.

Probably the two most important features that will stand out to you are the lightweight feel and the overall storage capacity that you get. We also had no issues with accessibility when trying to load the bag up.

With foam padding and two sets of compression straps, golfers should be pretty confident that their golf equipment is protected. However, don’t expect that same piece of mind you get with something like Sun Mountain, Titleist, or Bag Boy.

Maneuverability

The maneuverability of the Alpha is just alright. There are wheels which certainly helps as it is much easier to get around with than just a standard carry bag. However, we don’t love how the bag turns as you pull it.

There will be times when going around sharp corners that you may have to stop and maneuver the bag. The wheels are durable and should hold up fine over time, but they can feel as though so you are restricted in some of your movements.

For an occasional traveler, this is not a big deal. However, if you play golf and travel all the time, it may get frustrating.

The Ogio Alpha Travel cover has good protection, certainly not more so than any other golf travel bag on the market, but there is padding around the top part of the bag that helps to keep golf clubs from rattling around too much.

The compression straps are also a good feature as they keep your cart bag or stand bag locked in, with plenty of room for extras to be stored all around it.

Ogio claims that the reason they made this Ogio Alpha Travel bag is to give golfers the extra room they need for things like headcovers, rangefinders, golf towels, golf shoes, golf balls, and even that extra putter you decided you wanted to bring along just in case.

If you are smart about how you pack your travel bag, you may be able to use this as your only luggage for a weekend golf trip.

The 900D polyester material can be ordered in a few different colors to help make it easier to see which of the golf bags are yours. In addition, you can get different patterns that will help your clubs stand out from others in the airport.

Packing the Ogio Alpha Travel Bag is relatively easy. The D Loading Shape, as Ogio calls it, means you won’t have to fight with your driver to get it in the bag. Instead, just open the zippers entirely and drop the clubs in place.

Of course, something like the Sun Mountain Meridian that allows you to stand and load the bag is a bit more convenient, but the Ogio Alpha Travel Bag does not make this process overly difficult.

The bag weighs just 6.3 pounds, and it is partially why we called this the best lightweight golf travel bag on the market. If you are smart about what clubs you bring and how many golf balls you load down your bag with, you should have no issues with the total weight and avoid excess weight baggage charges.

Construction

The Ogio Alpha Travel cover is a soft-sided cover made with a 900D polyester material. The bottom of the bag near the wheels features a skid plate to help you move quickly through the airport at warp speed without feeling like you are dragging your fabric golf travel cover along the ground.

Don’t expect this construction to be anything that really stands out among other golf travel bags, but it also doesn’t set a particular model back.

Size/Compact

The overall size of the Ogio Alpha is 51″ L”x 12″ W”x 14″ H.” With this lightweight fabric’s design, it can stretch relatively easily to accommodate all of your gear. The only negative here is that it doesn’t break down to a small compact unit; instead, it’s a bit bulky for storage.

Additional Ogio Golf Travel Cover Options

If the Ogio Alpha Golf Travel Bag is not the best option for you, this well-known brand has two other options. Ogio didn’t go overboard with their travel cover offerings, they just made three different sizes, and each bag features almost the same technology and fabric with just slight modifications.

Ogio Alpha Travel Cover Max

The Ogio Alpha Travel Cover Max is best for golfers with staff bags. This particular model will hold a huge golf bag with plenty of padding and foam to protect the golf clubs. There are also oversized heavy-duty wheels that make the Ogio Alpha Travel cover a much smoother ride, even with all of that heavy gear in place. The same compression straps also lock the bag into place. The only negative here is the bag’s total weight of 12 pounds.

Ogio Alpha Travel Cover Mid

The Ogio Alpha Travel Cover Mid is a bit more compact for golfers that need a little less gear. This has a similar skid plate and rails to help protect the bottom of the bag. It also is made with a durable 1200D polyester fabric. If you are worried about the organization and overall maneuverability, this is an excellent option to consider.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ogio Folded

Who Is The Ogio Alpha For?

The Ogio Alpha is best for golfers that like a lot of gear and want to keep the price of their golf travel bag in check. This is not the most expensive travel bag on the market, but it will hold everything you need for a weekend golf trip. Be smart about how you pack and take care of the Ogio Alpha; it should last you for years to come.

Final Thoughts: Is The Ogio Alpha Travel Bag Worth It?

At this point, you should have a little bit better of an idea as to whether the Ogio Alpha Travel bag is a good fit for your needs. When we did our travel bag test this year, we wanted to make sure that the products that are highest in price are genuinely worth the money. The Ogio Alpha is fair in price for the amount of protection, maneuverability, and overall quality it offers. Whether you are new to the game or have been playing your entire life, I recommend this bag highly for the golfer that occasionally travels to moderately. For heavy travelers, spending just a little more on something more maneuverable will be a better choice.

Ogio 2024 Fuse Stand Bag

Our expert review:

Specifications

Reasons to buy, reasons to avoid.

Available in five eye-catching colorways, the first thing you will notice about this Fuse Stand Bag is how beautifully designed it is. We tested the 'Aloha Oe' model and, if that look isn't to your tastes, then OGIO have other models available, some equally as bright, and others a touch more subdued.

It's not just the look where this bag performs, as the overall construction of the bag feels really good throughout. There are multiple solid sections, such as the top rim, bottom of the bag and the stand, but there are also more delicate areas, such as the soft padded back rest or the soft inner lining of the valuables pocket.

Providing users with a four-way divider and six spacious pockets, we really enjoyed carrying this bag for multiple rounds on the course, as the ample storage, sturdy construction and a comfortable carry make this one of the best golf stand bags currently on the market.

OGIO Shadow Golf Stand Bag

Ogio Shadow Stand Bag

In recent years, OGIO has developed a reputation for bold and colorful patterns on both some of the  best golf travel bags  as well as their stand bag collection such as the  All Elements  and  Fuse stand bags . We're aware these styles aren't for everyone and if you're more of a golfing traditionalist, you might just love the new OGIO shadow stand bag...

First things first, aesthetics. This luxury bag certainly has class and shelf appeal with its sleek, modern design blended with a classic, timeless aesthetic. It's built to last too— it's constructed with premium synthetic leather, premium stitched handles and carbon fiber legs that are every bit as strong and sturdy as they sound

But how did it test? Let's take a look at the straps. The Fit Disk technology which automatically adjusts the straps to level out the bag when picked up onto your shoulders although these can also be adjusted manually for the perfect fit. We found the straps to be some of the most comfortable on any of the  best stand bags we've tested. This bag features a perforated moulded hip pad which is extremely soft for comfort and breathable to stop your back sweating on hotter day.

Pockets? There's 9 and plenty small pockets including two magnetic pockets, ideal for tees, balls and valuables. Our qualm was the lack of space; the larger pocket was barely big enough to fit a sweater. This could be dealbreaker if you play in all weather conditions and may look to carry a  rain jacket  or trousers.

Overall the OGIO shadow stand bag looks and feels extremely premium all while offering great performance when carrying it on the golf course. It reminded us of the  Vessel Player IV Pro DXR stand bag only the OGIO is cheaper!

Ogio All Elements Hybrid Stand Bag

Ogio All Elements Hybrid Stand Bag

Perhaps one of the coolest, stylish and eye-catching bags currently on the market, the Ogio All Elements Hybrid Stand Bag combines exceptional looks with performance. Ogio have broken the mold in terms of their fresh and funky designs and we salute them for their innovative styles, which are perfect for any golfer looking to make a statement on the course.

However, there's a lot more to this bag than the fancy patterns printed on its waterproof lining. To begin with it is fully waterproof, with its seam sealed zips keeping our belongings protected whilst they store nicely in the bag's nine roomy pockets.

If you're the type of player who likes to have all your clubs neatly organised but doesn't want to carry around a tour bag, then the eight-way divider on the top of this bag, which features a separate section for four big clubs, is the perfect way to keep your sticks all organised and dent free. That, in turn, makes it very easy to pull out your next club without drawing with it, your five iron, pitching wedge, and 52º. One other cool thing about this bag is that it houses a ball silo on the back, which, while seeming slightly gimmicky, was so handy to house a full packet of the best premium golf balls .

The flash Ogio All Elements Cart Bag and its excellent color patterns resting on the golf course

Ogio All Elements Cart Bag

The eight color options that are available will divide opinion, but we think they are very fresh and funky as Ogio look to provide something very different in the golf bag category.

Featuring 11 pockets, it has a huge amount of space, with two large side ones for your waterproofs and other larger items of clothing, then there’s options galore for your valuables, balls, umbrella and drinks (with an insulated cooler pocket). Along with pockets, there are 15 dividers, with each of them particularly roomy for each of your clubs, and there’s even room for an extra slot where any alignment sticks can go.

Although it is slightly more expensive than some of the best golf bags on the market, we believe that Ogio really have thrown everything at this bag and we can say with some confidence that this will last you forever. The detailing inside the pockets and the feel and ease of the zips are obvious signposts that this is a step up when it comes to functionality, durability and quality.

Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag review

Ogio All Elements Silencer Cart Bag

This bag features Ogio's unique, patented WOODE Silencer technology that locks each club in place to stop club noise as the bag moves along. It's a popular new trend in cart bags and this system differs from others too - the system locks the butt end of each in place at the bottom of the bag while using a soft plastic material on the top to secure the shaft in place. We were worried this would leave marks on our clubs but it didn't, however the system does mean club sensors can get knocked off.

As the name All Elements suggests, this bag is fully waterproof and features seam-sealed zips that keep everything in the bag bone dry. The amount of storage on offer can't be faulted either. Two large side pockets - one of which houses the rain cover - offer plenty of room to store apparel while the valuables pocket is fleece lined to stop your phone screen from getting scratched. There's also a cooler pocket and two external pockets to hold drinks bottles.

We warmed to the Woodblock colorway we tested this bag in - it certainly stands out from the crowd! There are some more subtle or even louder options depending on your taste though so don't worry if the loud design isn't for you!

Ogio Rig 9800 Travel Bag Review

Ogio Rig 9800 Travel Bag

First and foremost, Ogio’s Rig 9800 travel bag is big enough to hold everything you’ll need for an extended period of travel. In cubic inches this comes in at 7500. What this means in real life is enough storage for more than one pair of shoes and a mix of different outfits.

Despite its size, it is very easy to maneuver. In testing, the large, heady duty wheels and telescoping pull handle both work well to ensure you can navigate through the airport without hassle, with the Rig 9800 very cleverly laid out. The main compartment is huge but there’s also an adjustable divider and a padded helmet compartment.

Lastly, it will stand out when on the luggage carousel if you choose ‘sugar skulls’ color option. However, if it isn't your thing then there are a range of characterful alternatives as well as some more muted options.

ogio alpha travel cover

Ogio Alpha Travel Cover Mid

The Ogio Alpha travel bag is a very roomy option that can store shoes, clothes, balls and still have space left over for a souvenir or two. With all of this equipment in it, the bag does not feel overly cumbersome or heavy, which makes it a fantastic lightweight option when lifting it into cars, or from an airport carousel.

That makes it a great cover for golfers looking to put as little strain on their backs as possible and it features two strong wheels that make this bag very easy to maneuver and pull behind you while you're out walking. It features a skid plate on the bottom which protects the bag from any abrasions, but it is also made of a durable material that is well padded around your club heads for additional protection and structure.

The D-shaped opening makes it easy to gain access to your clubs and the bag also features some handy compression straps which keep your clubs well secured inside the cover. The last thing to note is the eye-catching colors that the Ogio Alpha comes in. We tested out the Cover's 'Warp Speed' colorway and it was very easy to spot in the airport. But you can also get it in other designs like donuts, navy flower party or simply black.

How to choose a golf bag

There are several things you should think about before buying a golf bag and we have laid out the most important below...

Put simply, what kind of bag do you want? And it normally boils down to two options: stand bag or cart bag? Both have their positives and negatives, so you should think about what is most important to you. Stand bags are built for those who want to carry their clubs, so factors like comfort and weight are very important. Added features like waterproofing, as well as the strength and robustness on offer might also be a consideration many have.

The two negatives most associated with stand bags are they require more effort to use, and they usually don't offer as much storage as cart bags. However, that being said, there are several options above that can also be used on golf carts, so maybe that is a way of killing two birds with one stone.

Cart bags are for those who want to use golf carts on the golf course. If this is you, then you'll likely want a stable model that is not only easy to lift and move around, but also one that sits firmly on your cart. One big advantage we have found is that cart bags also tend to offer ample storage for accessories, apparel, valuables and all the other golf paraphernalia you might need during the round. The main negative is they are just bulkier and have to be taken off the cart before and after the round, whereas stand bags offer a bit more freedom.

These days a good golf bag has to have pockets for the many different reasons mentioned above. Cart bags tend to have larger pockets because they are just that, larger. They also require less effort to use, which means players are able to carry more stuff with them if needed.

Stand bags on the other hand usually have enough to house just the essentials. But this might be all that's required depending on your round-to-round requirements. So, have a think about how much gear you want to take onto the golf course, and pick a bag accordingly.

Waterproofing

If you live or golf somewhere that gets a lot of rain, then getting a waterproof bag is a no-brainer. If you don't, however, this factor won't be as important. We should acknowledge that some models above are better than others in this regard because they have been designed as such.

Across all types of bag, weight is important. Stand bags obviously have to be lightweight because players will be carrying them on their backs and shoulders all day, while cart bags should also have a degree of lightness so they are easy to maneuver on the golf course, and from the car to the cart itself. Thankfully most brands these days make lightweight models across their ranges because not many players want to use a heavy bag.

How do you want your golf bag to look? Whatever the model, brands try their best to create design aesthetics that stand out, or blend in on the golf course. Therefore have a think about which models you like the look of, or if some bags have different color schemes.

Our final factor to consider is of course price. There are golf bags at every single price point, so if you want to go for a premium model you can, or if you want a cheap stand bag you can also do that too.

Is it important to get a golf bag with a good strap?

Yes, particularly if you suffer from back pain. Golfers should always look to take care of their posture by buying a golf bag that disperses the weight of their clubs out over their shoulders. A golf bag with a full set of clubs inside of it can be very heavy to carry over 18 holes. So it is important to remember to buy one that is comfortable and supportive on your back.

Should I buy a stand bag or a pencil bag?

A stand bag typically is a bit heavier than a pencil bag, but allows you to carry more clubs and equipment. A pencil bag is better for players who carry fewer clubs or dont want to be burdened by carrying a large weight on their back. That's why they're often called Sunday bags as they can be great to load a few clubs in for a quick round on a Sunday. Depending on what type of golf you want to play, either can be great options for amateur golfers.

What bags do most golfers use?

The majority of amateur golfers use golf stand bags. They are lightweight, generally easy to carry and you can stand them up pretty much everywhere on the course. The majority of professionals use tour bags as they are larger, can fit more equipment and are typically carried by caddies.

Ogio Monster Travel Bag Review

The Ogio Monster Travel Bag is one of the most spacious golf bags you’re going to come across when shopping on Amazon. This isn’t the first golf travel bag that you’ll find online, but it’s one of the most feature-packed as this review will demonstrate, and yet it doesn’t come with the drawbacks that other large golf bags do.

Short for Structural Load Equalizing Deck, this is one of the major features on the Monster, and as the name implies it’s designed to improve handling and durability. One of the problems with large golf travel bags is they often suffer from weight imbalance, so when it’s filled up with golf equipment the bag gets too heavy, or the weight is unevenly distributed.

The SLED design on the Ogio prevents that from happening, so even when the bag is packed up, weight distribution remains uniform and doesn’t cause much of a problem during transportation.

Features and Specifications of Ogio Monster Travel Bag

  • The Ogio Monster has dimensions of 52″ H x 15″ W x 15″ D.
  • The bag weighs 13.4 Lbs.
  • Aside from being tip-resistant, the bag is designed to fit tour and stand bags without any difficulty.
  • The bag comes with exterior compression straps and a couple of accessory pockets for your convenience.
  • There are a couple of external shoe pockets that can fit a size 22, something you won’t find in other golf bags.
  • The bag has an access opening with cinch-down straps to keep your golf bag secure.
  • This travel bag also has a generously sized padded compartment at the top.
  • The Ogio comes with a tarpaulin base and several reinforcements that enhance its durability.
  • The urethane wheels built in are designed for off-road use.
  •  The bag features a large compartment.

Convenience Features

The Ogio was designed not just to provide room for your equipment and gear but to make it easier to use. A feature that helps in this matter is the oversized urethane wheels that facilitate transportation, and the reinforcements along the base and other areas of the bag makes it convenient to use. Aside from the spacious interior the bag also has a padded compartment.

Who Should Buy This Product?

The Ogio Monster Golf Bag is the choice for you if you’re looking for as much space as possible without sacrificing convenience. Once your bag and gear are set they’ll be safely secured in place, so there is no cause for concern while you’re hauling the bag.

For a bag that is packed with a lot of features, it only weighs 13.4 lbs. And that’s not a lot. Sometimes golf bags just don’t provide the kind of storage space you need, and in those cases, you’re going to need something like the Monster for all your gear.

Wrapping Up Our Ogio Monster Travel Bag Review

The Ogio Monster Travel Bag deserves its name: it is a monster when it comes to size and a number of items you can store inside. In spite of that, the bag doesn’t get too heavy and won’t present any problems when it comes to handling. If your golf bag cannot provide the space you require, then you’ll need a bigger bag like this one.

How To Pack a Golf Travel Bag — (Packing Tips From Our Instructors)

Patrick Corley

When traveling with your golf gear you have a few options to keep your clubs safe from the rigors of airline baggage mishaps or even just the overloading of hard suitcases against your golf clubs in the trunk of a car.

You can choose a soft or hard case to keep your clubs protected from damage, but there is a better choice and that is a golf travel bag. This style of bag not only has the soft or hard case to protect your clubs, but also comes with extra compartments where you can pack your golf gear as well. At TellMeMoreGolf, we recommend using a golf travel bag as the extra space always comes in handy when it’s time to pack your gear for traveling.

If you find yourself planning a vacation, it’s a great idea to bring your golf equipment with you to try out some new courses , and if you decide to do so it’s crucial to know how to pack your clubs and golf gear effectively and safely. In this article, we will go over how to organize a golf travel bag properly and also give you some valuable golf travel tips.

Packing Clothes In A Golf Travel Bag – Packing Tips

ogio creature 2 travel bag reviews

When packing for a golf trip, there are a few things to remember for a smooth and easy journey . How to exactly pack a golf travel bag is hard to say as every bag is different, but now we’ll go over some general packing tips.

  • Check Out the Weather Forecast

Always remember to check the weather forecast before packing, as a rainy golf trip will call for some extra clothes. Not only are more pairs of clothes needed, but also an umbrella, water-resistant jacket, etc. If the rain decides to creep up, getting caught off guard and only having khakis and a few light polos is not fun .

  • Make Use of The Extra Space
Golf travel cases have extra space where you can place clothes and other necessities.

This is great as you’ll often not have to bring an extra suitcase, which is a cause for discomfort and sometimes extra cost at the airline counters .

Almost all golf travel bags have one or two empty compartments for packing clothing on the outside of the bag , but also look for extra compartments on the inside where you can also pack clothing, shoes, extra golf balls and other necessities.

There is usually extra space between the golf clubs where a rolled-up shirt fits perfectly. Doing this will reduce clanking among the club heads and minimize the risk of clubs being scratched while also creating more space for other belongings.

  • Pack Lightly

Although it’s nice to bring your entire wardrobe when traveling, you only have so much room, and airlines only allow so much weight without charging extra baggage fees . A golf bag with a complete set of golf clubs weighs about 25-30 pounds, and airlines’ max weight per checked-in bag is usually 50 pounds.

Plan and pack the essentials for your trip. It’s not fun to drag around a heavy bag when traveling. Weight can be saved by packing clothes that can be worn on and off course. Another way to save space is to wear your golf shirt to dinner the night before the round, meaning that you only have to wear one shirt a day, while always having a fresh one for dinner.

What Is a Stiff Arm Used For?

When traveling with golf clubs we want to pack them with the worst case scenario in mind.

Nothing worse than being excited to play our first round on vacation only to find that one or more of our clubs has been damaged in transit.

Whether the bag is sliding down the baggage carousel and smashing into a metal wall, or the bag folds when carrying , there is always the risk of the clubs breaking.

One way to significantly lower the risk of clubs breaking is using a stiff arm . The stiff arm is a telescopic pole that is longer than the length of your driver. As the stiff arm’s head is the only thing that makes contact vertically, the risk of smashing your clubs into something reduces greatly.

Another plus is that it keeps the bag upright at all times and makes it unable to fold , which can otherwise be a cause for damage. With the stiff arm, wheeling your bag through the airport becomes far more enjoyable, as you won’t have to worry about your precious clubs breaking.

FAQ Section

Can you put clothes in a golf travel bag.

Travel bags are made to make traveling with golf clubs easy while also having the space for clothes. Depending on what type of travel bag you have, there will be different packing solutions.

If your travel bag has standard pockets, you can fold your clothes like usual and place them like in any other bag. If you’re short on space, clothes can also be rolled up and put in the bag among the clubs or in the pockets. Just remember to place them somewhere they won’t get dirty.

What is the allowed weight limit of a golf travel bag for most airlines?

The weight limit for most airlines is 50 lbs and airlines have a specific charge for golf travel bags up to that limit. Anything that weighs more than 50 pounds will incur an extra charge. We suggest you contact your airline before travel to check on their pricing schedule.

Conclusion: Research by Tellmemoregolf.com

black tell me more golf compressed logo with mottled background information for golfers

It’s always fun to try out new golf courses, and an excellent way to do so is by traveling. But if you’re not careful and use the proper golf travel bag, there’s a risk of damaging your clubs.

That’s why an adequate travel bag combined with a stiff arm is a great way to travel safely with your golf clubs. It’s also a way to add more storage for clothing and the things we need to travel with. Thank you for reading this article from TellMeMoreGolf.com , and we wish you a happy and safe golf vacation!
