From apple pie made with apples only found in Amsterdam to an excellent cheese shop whose cheese master recently was awarded the world gold medal. I cannot more highly recommend this tour if you are both a foodie and history buff as me 🙂

Our family enjoyed a delicious tour with Marc, who we found to be engaging, educational and very personable. We found little local gems we would never have found otherwise, and tasted some great food. Marc’s stories wove the culinary experience into the history of the Netherlands beautifully, which deepened our appreciation of Dutch culture. Definitely go hungry, if you can. There are no big meals, but it adds up to a lot of food over the course of just a few hours. We would definitely take a tour with Marc again.

This was by far the best food tour I have been on! There are so many unique places included and so much food- well worth the price! We took the Grand Dutch Food Tour with Bo and she was fabulous. This was a first class tour with top of the line food and drinks, and lots of time to sit comfortably and talk about Amsterdam's history and the food (and lots of other things!) It was four hours total, and went by in a flash. We had lots of food tastings (easily enough for a full meal), as well as multiple stops including drinks such as coffee, hot cocoa, beer, wine/mixed drinks of choice, and water (a rarity on food tours). It was a spectacular introduction to Amsterdam and all the wonderful traditional foods. Would recommend 100% to anyone!

I'm a bit slow with this review but we are already planning our next trip back to Amsterdam in September this year and are considering doing another Amsterdam Food Tours because our first one with Rudolph last September was so brilliant. I wasn't sure whether doing a 3 hour tour the first day we arrived in Amsterdam after a 24 hour long haul flight from Australia was a good idea but it turned out to be the best! We did the Jordaan Food Tour. Rudolph is the best tour guide you could possibly hope to get. He is friendly, well educated and articulated and has an excellent sense of humour. It was so much fun to be shown around the Jordaan area with a guide as knowledgeable and charming as Rudolph. Doing this tour on the first day really got us our bearings around the city quickly and we knew where we wanted to go back to try again after the tour. Highly recommended.

Without doubt the best part of our weekend break. Not only was it hugely entertaining and informative, but Thijs and the food producers he introduced us to clearly have a passion for Amsterdam, the Jordaan district and its food. There was a wide range of gourmet delights on route - herring, bittenballen, Indonesian treats, apple pie, brigadeiro - something to suit everyones tastes. Beautiful restored old wooden cruiser that took us around the canals with a quick stop for bittenballen on the way, washed down with crisp white wine. Perfect. Our guide was Marc and he was absolutely phenomenal! We always do a food tour while on vacation and this is the best one we have taken and was a highlight to our trip. Fun food tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour of the market area! Loved trying new and different foods while hanging out with a small group of tourists from around the globe. Awesome atmosphere, beautiful day and friendly guides. Loved the way Ennon incorporated history, culture and stories into the food presentations and it was great to have the other guides along to go ahead to pre-purchase food/drinks. We were a bit confused about the initial meeting point - I would suggest adding a more detailed description to the confirmation email including the cross streets such as: "Meet at the entrance to the market on Albert Cuypstraadt & Ferdinand Bolstraadt near the Dunkin Donuts & Metro stop. Fun way to spend time exploring and eating like a local!

Delicious! My Kids Even Ate the Fish!

We had an amazing time. The food was all amazing and the market was very pretty. There were tulips everywhere, very cool! I was a bit hesitant about Dutch food as my kids are picky eaters. Once they tried the first pancakes though, they trusted the guide. Everything was delicious. We even all tried the pickled fish and were so happily surprised!

I consider myself a food lover and I love to share my passion for food with other people who I meet in my daily life. When I am in another country I want to taste the local cuisine and experience the food that the country is known for. For this reason, I started the Free Food Tour in Amsterdam.

My favorite Dutch food has always been ‘Hutspot’. This is a typically Dutch dish made out of boiled and mashed potatoes, carrots, and onions. This dish has a long history in traditional Dutch cuisine. Another food that I love is Goudse Kaas (Gouda cheese) which we will be also tasting on the Free Food Tour during our 2-hour walk in Amsterdam!

As a Food lover, I love to eat and taste all there is to taste in Amsterdam. This is why we have the Free Food tour here in Amsterdam.  When you travel, you want to really eat and taste all the different things they don’t have in your country.

The best Dutch dinner if you ask me is kale mixed with potatoes and a big smoked sausage, in Holland we call the Boerenkool.  On the tour, I will show you where you can get the best. A typical Dutch snack you cannot miss before you leave the country is a Dutch herring. We serve it with onions and pickle the best thing about it all is that we eat it raw in one peach.

Usher Kicks Off Tour in Washington D.C. After Delay Due to Neck Injury

Usher is finally hitting the road after a brief delay! 

The R&B legend, 45, kicked off his long-awaited Past Present Future Tour with two sold-out shows at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and Wednesday, Aug. 21. 

Earlier this month, Usher said he would be postponing the first three shows of his highly anticipated tour due to a neck injury he suffered during rehearsals. Usher announced he would postpone the first date in Atlanta, on Aug. 14. The next day, he said he had to postpone two more shows . 

"My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night," he explained in his Aug. 15 statement. "Unfortunately, the injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week."

The previous dates have already been rescheduled for Dec. 9, Dec. 10 and Dec. 12 .

During the eight-time Grammy winner’s two-hour set in D.C., he performed “U Don’t Have To Call,” “Confessions,” “Yeah!” and “Lovers and Friends.” He also serenaded the crowd with songs from his ninth album, Coming Home .

At the Aug. 21 show, the “Burn” singer brought out D.C. native musicians Wale, Raheem DeVaughn and E.U.’s Sugar Bear. Wale performed “The Matrimony” and “No Hands,” while DeVaughn serenaded the crowd with “You,” and Sugar Bear sang “Da’ Butt.”

Usher's next tour stop is Baltimore, where he will perform at the CFG Bank Arena on Aug. 23 and 24. The North American leg of the tour finishes up with the three-night stand in Atlanta in December.

The European portion of the Past Present Future tour kicks off on March 29 at London's The O2 Arena. After an eight-night stand there, he will perform in Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin before returning to London to end the tour in May.

The musician announced he would go on the career-spanning tour in December 2023, just weeks after ending his My Way: The Las Vegas Residency run.

In February, he released his ninth studio album, Coming Home , and performed at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show . During the show, he brought out musical guests Alicia Keys , H.E.R. ,  Jermaine Dupri ,  will.i.am ,  Lil Jon and Ludacris to join him on stage at the NFL championship game in Las Vegas.

Usher also has a concert film, USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS , hitting roughly 2,000 theaters worldwide between Thursday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 15.
