Drake bringing 'It’s All A Blur' tour with 21 Savage to Houston: Tickets, presale dates

HOUSTON - Drake is returning to touring this summer, and he’s bringing the "It’s All A Blur" tour with 21 Savage to Houston.

On Monday, the Grammy-award winning artist announced more than two dozen tour dates across the U.S. and Canada.

The tour kicks off in New Orleans on June 16 followed by Nashville on June 19.

The tour then comes to Texas with a concert at the Toyota Center in Houston on June 21, as well as a stop in Dallas on June 24.

The tour wraps up in Glendale, Ariz., on Sept. 5.

Rapper and unofficial Houstonian Drake is going on tour, and of course we're on the schedule.

He'll perform June 21 at Toyota Center as part of his It's All a Blur Tour. Drake will be joined by 21 Savage. The pair released the collaborative album "Her Loss" in November.

Tickets go on sale at noon Friday through the venue site . A CashApp Card presale begins Wednesday, and a Sprite presale is set for Thursday. More information on both can be found at drakerelated.com .

Drake has frequently expressed his love for Houston. But he was criticized for a cheap swipe at Houston's Megan Thee Stallion on the song "Circo Loco" from the "Her Loss" album. On the track, he says she "lie about getting shots, but she still a stallion," a reference to the 2020 shooting involving rapper Tory Lanez. It prompted a letter of support for Megan from several high-profile women, including U.S. Reps. Sheila Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters and Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Drake's last performance in Houston was at the ill-fated Astroworld Festival in 2021.

Drake tells fans he's moving to the Bayou City: 'I found me a place in Houston, Texas'

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- After a long history of loving H-Town, hip hop superstar Drake announced that he's moving to Houston at his concert at the Toyota Center on Monday night.

Drake, who's known for representing his hometown of Toronto, is no stranger to the Bayou City. Aside from many concerts in H-Town over the years, has been known to visit his second hometown, often talking about it in his songs.

He's been spotted on many visits to Houston, including sightings playing basketball at the University of Houston and St. Thomas High School and grabbing a burger at Bun B's Trill Burgers.

Drake performed a second night in a row at the Toyota Center on Monday as part of his "It's All A Blur" tour with rapper 21 Savage.

"I want to tell you something. I'm excited I get to share this with night two. I had to make it official first, but I've been looking for a long time, trying to figure out, you know, the right place for me to live, where I belong outside of Toronto," Drake told fans. "And I finally, finally after all these years, I found me a place in Houston, Texas. So y'all will be seeing me around!"

In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Nick Scurfield, fans can be heard cheering before Drake even finished his announcement.

It's hard to say if Drake could just be playing with fans' emotions. Some fans pointed out that he made a similar claim at a concert in Phoenix, Arizona earlier this month.

"When the tour is over, once I get my birthday out of the way, I'm going to come live in Phoenix for like a month or two. For sure. Come see my brothers hoop, you know?" Drake said at a Sept. 6 concert in Arizona.

Drake pushes back dates of houston ‘it’s all a blur’ tour shows to september.

Additional shows were added to his 2023 “It’s All A Blur” tour with 21 Savage, resulting in the original summertime concert dates getting moved.

Drake fans will have to wait until the fall to see the popular rapper in Houston this year.

Additional shows were added to his 2023 "It's All A Blur" tour with 21 Savage, resulting in the original summertime concert dates getting pushed back a few months.

The original June 21 and 22 concerts will now take place on September 17 and 18. The shows will still be at the Toyota Center.

Arena officials said all tickets will be honored for the new dates and ticketholders don't need to do anything. For those who cannot attend the new September shows, Toyota Center said "more information will be sent to ticket purchasers on how to request a refund."

A dozen new shows were added on Monday, including a show in Austin.

‘DRAKE - RESCHEDULED’: It’s All A Blur tour makes major changes for Houston show

Here’s what you need to know.

HOUSTON – Champagne Papi and The Saint Laurent Don are heading to H-TOWN this year, however, the duo made some changes to ensure their #1 fans have the chance to see them live.

Originally, rappers Drake and 21 Savage were expected to hit the stage for the ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’ at the Toyota Center on June 21, 22 however, the venue has announced another date.

Now, the duo, who just released their joint album ‘ Her Loss ’, have rescheduled the show to Sept. 17, 18, 2023.

According to the Toyota Center website, those who cannot attend the new show will be sent information on how to request a refund.

“The upcoming Drake shows at Toyota Center scheduled for June 21 & 22, 2023 have been rescheduled to Sept.17 & 18, 2023.

All tickets for the original show date will be honored, so hold on to your tickets. No action is needed if you wish to attend this rescheduled show. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, more information will be sent to ticket purchasers on how to request a refund. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We hope to see you at Toyota Center soon.”
