LOONA Announces Dates And Cities Across U.S. For 1st-Ever World Tour

LOONA is heading off on their first-ever world tour!

On June 1 at midnight KST, LOONA announced nine dates and cities across the United States for their upcoming first world tour “LOONATHEWORLD.”

The group will kick off their U.S. tour in Los Angeles on August 2 and will perform in San Francisco on August 4, Denver on August 6, Kansas City on August 8, Chicago on August 11, Louisville on August 13, Reading on August 15, and Washington DC on August 17, before closing out in New York on August 19. Tickets will go on sale on June 4 at midnight KST!

LOONA is currently competing on Mnet’s idol competition show “ Queendom 2 ” and the winner will be crowned during the upcoming final live broadcast on June 2 at 9:20 p.m. KST.

LOONA announces the dates and locations to their first World Tour 'LOONATHEWORLD' in North America

Just a few days ago, media outlets reported that  Blockberry Creative 's girl group LOONA will be making a comeback in June . This will mark LOONA's first new album release in 1 year since the release of their 4th mini-album ' & ' in June of 2021. After making their comeback this month, LOONA plans to go on their world tour to North America and dropped a teaser poster revealing the dates and locations of the tour. According to the poster, LOONA will begin performances in Los Angeles on August 2 and will continue the tour throughout the USA. 

The group will be visiting Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Kansas City, Chicago, Louisville, Reading, Washington DC, and New York from August 2 to August 19.

Announcement and Sale [ ]

On May 31, 2022, LOONA released the official announcement poster on social media. Ticket pre-sales opened on June 4, 2022 at 12AM KST. On June 15, three new dates across the southern USA and one new date in Mexico were announced, scheduled between August 23–28, 2022. [4] Ticket sales for the additional stops opened on June 16.

On July 23, the European leg of the tour was announced, with dates in Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. Presale for European tickets opened on July 25, with general sale opening July 27.

On September 16, Seoul stops were announced, with two dates in Seoul, South Korea between October 15–16, 2022.

Loossemble announce 2023 ‘LOONA Assemble: the US Debut Ceremony’ tour

Newly formed K-pop girl group Loossemble have announced their upcoming 2023 ‘LOONA Assemble: the US Debut Ceremony’ tour.

Loossemble, a portmanteau of “ LOONA ” and “assemble”, is a quintet that recently formed under CTDENM and features five LOONA members : Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Hyeju. The five K-pop idols had signed to the label in June and July , following their departure from former agency Blockberry Creative .

On August 3, Loossemble and South Korean app Fromm Store announced the girl group’s upcoming 2023 ‘LOONA Assemble: the US Debut Ceremony’ tour. The tour will take the quintet to 10 cities across the US, including Atlanta, Houston, New York and more.

However, one of the dates have since reportedly been cancelled. According to Ticketmaster US, the Reading, Pennsylvania stop of the tour on September 18 will no longer be held.
