Tickets will be priced from £29.60, and will be available from Ticketmaster here.

It marks his first major tour since 2018, when he sold out the Hydro for a record 19 nights.

The Scottish S un reported that: "We told earlier how Bridges showcased an "intimate performance" named Work in Progress, which featured brand new material, at  The Stand in Glasgow  in September.

Eager fans desperate to bag a seat crashed the venue's website when more than 100,000 of them tried to book tickets at once."

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?

We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.

Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.

So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.

The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!

Callum Baird, Editor of The National

With a career spanning 18 years Kevin Bridges already has the life experience of a man twice his age, helping him to hit the nail on the head with his shrewd outlook on the modern world.

"Bridges has previously broken box office records with his last two tours, ‘Brand New’ (2018) and ‘A Whole Different Story’ (2015) going on to win awards from Ticketmaster and Ents24 for Fastest Selling Ticket of the Year. "Kevin’s last two tours have accumulated just under 1,000,000 tickets sold across the world including record 35 sold-out-shows at Glasgow’s iconic Hydro , awarding him the most shows at that venue for one artist.
