How to get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring

This area contains a key item for Fia's questline.

Elden Ring Liurnia Divine Tower

The Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring is found in the eastern region of Liurnia of the Lakes, but knowing where it is doesn't mean it's easy to access. You need to complete at least part of Ranni's quest in order to unlock it so it's not just a case of walking straight in through the door.

Unlike Limgrave's Divine Tower , there's little reason to come here, aside from the key item needed for another NPC quest. Liurnia's main boss, Rennala drops a Great Rune but it doesn't need to be activated as it is used to respec your character at the Raya Lucaria Academy. If you're still keen to check it out though, or you need the key item for Fia's quest , here's how to get to the Elden Ring Divine Tower of Liurnia.

Elden Ring Liurnia Divine Tower: Where to get the Carian Inverted Statue

If you've never ventured to the Carian Study Hall, it's the building that connects to the Divine Tower in east Liurnia. The fastest way to get there is to fast travel to the Eastern Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace and follow the path east, then south. Once you reach the Carian Study Hall, you can rest at the Site of Grace on the ground floor.

The altar, just ahead, gives you the option to examine it and this is where you need to use the Carian Inverted Statue. If you don't have it yet, you should pursue Ranni's quest until you bring her the Fingerslayer Blade.

The steps can be found below and are also detailed in our Ranni quest guide :

  • Meet Ranni in Ranni's Rise at Caria Manor, Liurnia.
  • Meet Blaidd in Siofra River.
  • Talk to Seluvis to get his letter of introduction for Sorceress Sellen.
  • Talk to Sellen to find out about Radahn.
  • Talk to Blaidd about Radahn.
  • Head to Redmane Castle, Caelid.
  • Defeat Radahn to free the stars.
  • Head to East Limgrave and down into the falling star crater.
  • Head to the center of Nokron to get the Fingerslayer Blade.
  • Return and give the blade to Ranni to get the Carian Inverted Statue .

How to get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia

Inverting the Carian Study Hall does exactly what it sounds like it does. The entire place will turn upside down. From the altar where you placed the inverted statue, head to the area that used to contain the lift. Drop down into the shaft, using the ledge below you, then take the first upside-down door.

In the main hall, head left and make your way around to the huge inverted arch on the opposite side—you need to drop down to a narrow ledge once you get there. Cross over what was once the apex of the arch and head right, again using a small ledge to reach the larger "floor space" in the corner.

Once you reach the wall, turn left, then make your way around the circular-ish structure in a clockwise direction. You should soon see a wall ahead of you with windows just below your level and beams crisscrossing even further down. Drop down to the platform in front of the nearest window.

Elden Ring Liurnia Divine Tower

If you stop a moment and look over the edge, you should spot the lift in the area below. Drop onto one of the higher beams, then line up and drop down to the next set. From this level, it's safe to drop to the lift below. Step on the pressure plate in the middle to lower the lift, then once you come to rest at the bottom, look for the gap in the lift's barrier and head for the large door directly behind it. Open it then activate the Liurnia Bridge Tower Site of Grace and rest up.

You can mount Torrent here and it's probably best you do so as you're about to encounter a Godskin Noble miniboss. He's pretty fast and his rolling attack can be incredibly annoying but with a bit of luck, you should be able to take him out from horseback.

Once the miniboss is taken care of, open the large doors at the far end of the bridge and ride the lift up. There's another Site of Grace here you can activate, then proceed up the steps to loot the Stargazer Heirloom talisman and the Cursemark of Death key item from a corpse at the top. The latter item is the one needed for Fia's questline.

Elden Ring: How to Unlock the Divine Tower of Liurnia

Image of J.R. Waugh

Elden Ring has plenty of content to enjoy beyond simple boss battles, and the Divine Tower of Liurnia is a particularly beneficial place to visit if you’d like to unlock alternate endings.  The ending you can attain with this involves completing the Snow Witch Ranni’s questline, but we won’t spoil the contents beyond that.  Getting inside this tower is a difficult endeavor that must be done far later than you’ll likely have spotted this landmark.  Read on for our guide on  How to Unlock the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring!

Elden-Ring-Ranni

To get here, you’ll need to have cleared Redmane Castle , defeated Starscourge Radahn in Caelid, and defeat Royal Knight Loretta at Caria Manor .  This will give you access to Ranni’s Rise just southwest of Caria Manor.  Ascend this tower and speak with Ranni, exhausting her dialogue options and agreeing to serve her.  She will notify you a crater has opened just nearby Mistwood Ruins in Limgrave, so get moving.

Step 1: Go to Nokron, Beat the Bosses

At Mistwood, you’ll see debris conspicuously floating in the air marking the crater, so carefully descend.  At this point, you’ll be able to drop down into Nokron, Eternal City , which is above the Siofra River area.  Proceed to fight the Mimic Tear boss nearby, and go through the area, lighting all the flames in the area as well as Siofra River to prompt an encounter with the Regal Ancestor Spirit boss.

After this, descend to the city ground level starting at the Ancestral Woods site of grace, dropping down the rooftops carefully.  Along this path are deadly Silver Tear enemies who can mimic human form, be careful around them.  You’ll come across a wall into a large building, loot it and exit through the main hall.  Activate the site of grace down the stairs and go through the area, fighting off the Silver Tear troll that forms at the end, and loot the area to grab the Fingerslayer Blade to show to Ranni.

Step 2: Invert the Carian Study Hall

Elden-Ring-Miriam

After doing all this, fast travel back and go speak to Ranni in her tower.  She will give you the Carian Inverted Statue .  Go to the Carian Study Hall southeast of the Artist’s Shack in Liurnia, and activate the altar now that you’ve got the statue, to trigger an awesome cutscene.  The study hall you’re in flips upside down like something straight out of Symphony of the Night, so go through what was the elevator room inside, through a doorway across from you.

Elden-Ring-Carian-Manor-Lift

The hall is inverted, and you must now descend from the ceiling down below the rafters onto the lift.  Be careful though, because even if you fought Perceptor Miriam in the regular study hall, you must fight them again.  It’s worthwhile to kill them both times because you’ll get two spells, Magic Downpour , and Lucidity .  Take the lift down to reach the Liurnia Tower Bridge.

Step 3: Ride Through to Rewards

Divine-Tower-of-Liurnia

From this bridge, ride straight through.  There’s a Godskin Noble that will cut you to shreds if you’re not careful, but on Torrent, you can race right by them.  You’ll reach the doors of the tower, and you can simply enter, go to the top, and get the Stargazer Heirloom and Cursemark of Death , the latter of which is for Ranni’s alternate ending .

In summary:

  • Complete Redmane Castle, Starscourge Radahn, and Royal Knight Loretta
  • Speak to Ranni in her tower
  • Go to Nokron, Eternal City, clearing the bosses
  • Speak to Ranni again, get Carian Inverted Statue
  • Use statue at Carian Study Hall, descend to the bottom, and take the lift to Divine Tower of Liurnia
  • Go inside, and reap your rewards

This concludes our guide on How to Unlock the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring!    Be sure to check out our other guides , and our review .

How to get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring

Learn how to use the Carian Inverted Statue, and grab the Cursemark of Death while you're here.

The Divine Tower of Liurnia is a hidden location in which is found in Liurnia of the Lakes . You'll need the Carian Inverted Statue to access it.

To be able to enter the tower in the first place, you must have followed Ranni's quest to the point where the witch hands over the Carian Inverted Statue - but what is it used for? Read on for our step-by-step guide on how to get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring .

Go to the Carian Study Hall in the east of Liurnia. If you haven't defeated Miriam inside the 'normal' Study Hall yet, it doesn't matter (but it doesn't hurt either).

Place the Carian Inverted Statue on the altar behind the entrance and the rear area of the Study Hall will turn upside down (hello Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ...). You can remove it at any time and return the area to the way it was.

Go to the lift and you can drop down here:

A warrior stands on a ledge above an inverted upside down doorway in Elden Ring.

The inverted window frame will take you to the area behind it, where the first spiders will attract your attention.

After the beasts are flattened, you'll see... Preceptor Miriam appearing again. Run along to the right and you'll reach her position behind some more spiders (alternatively, you can fire at her using magic or arrows).

A warrior fights Miriam in the Inverted Carian Study Hall in Elden Ring.

Once again, she teleports away after taking some damage. From here, you can also reach the item in the window alcove to the north-east. You'll find the Mask of Confidence here.

Follow the course of the dusty platform to the south-eastern edge and you can safely drop down (the rainbow-coloured stones confirm this, as pictured below):

A warrior stands on the edge of ledge overlooking two stones, one red and one green, in Elden Ring.

Now look down from the ledge and you can drop into the beams. The corpse below the chandeliers gives you 8x Glintstone Firefly and another corpse has 2x Holyproof Dried Liver .

Then drop onto the central platform with the spiral staircase and stand on the switch to ride it down to where the ceiling of the Study Hall actually is.

A warrior approaches a series of wooden roof beams in Elden Ring.

Follow the corridor to the east and open the gate to the tower bridge. Activate the Site of Grace ' Liurnia Tower Bridge ' and walk along the bridge to the tower.

Beware, though, as you'll find a Godskin Noble here, who won't go down without a fight. Fortunately, he's considerably weaker than the Godskin Apostle , and you can easily break his posture with the Glintblade Phalanx Ash of War . He leaves behind a nice slew of runes and a complete armour set consisting of Godskin Noble Hood , Godskin Noble Robe , Godskin Noble Bracelets and Godskin Noble Trousers .

A warrior approaches a Godskin Noble in Elden Ring.

After looting the place, open the massive stone gate and take the lift to the top. There you will find the next Site of Grace ' Divine Tower of Liurnia ', but no Two Fingers monument, as you would expect.

Instead, you will find a corpse with the Cursemark of Death and the Stargazer Heirloom (which increases wisdom). The Cursemark is required for Fia's quest and one of the optional endings in Elden Ring . Otherwise there is nothing else to get on the tower.

tour divine liurnia

Elden Ring: how to get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia

The strange journey to reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia explained

Trying to figure out how to reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring? You're in for quite a journey, let me tell you. Reaching the second Divine Tower of the game is far, far more involved a process than reaching the first - and, very oddly, you won't actually be able to reach it until you've defeated your third demi-god.

Below we'll show you exactly where the Divine Tower of Liurnia can be found in Elden Ring , and walk you through the steps you need to complete in order to reach it. In so doing, we'll also reveal how to activate the mysterious pedestal in the Carian Study Hall. So read on, dear Tarnished!

How to get to the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring

The Divine Tower of Liurnia can be found on the eastern edge of Liurnia of the Lakes, adjoining the Carian Study Hall. You can see the exact location marked on the map below:

Part of the Elden Ring map, with the location of the Divine Tower of Liurnia marked.

However, reaching the Divine Tower of Liurnia is not as straightforward as reaching the Divine Tower of Limgrave . You need to reach the very top of the Carian Study Hall (even higher than the rafters with the rats), but you cannot do this at first.

Before you can reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia, you need to activate the pedestal in the entrance hall of the Carian Study Hall.

How to activate the pedestal in the Carian Study Hall

On a desk in front of the Site of Grace in the Carian Study Hall, there is a pedestal. You must find the correct item to place upon this pedestal in order to reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia - and strangely, getting this item requires you to first defeat another major boss of the game.

Here's what you need to do:

  • Journey to the Caelid Wilds and defeat the major boss of that region, General Radahn.
  • Fight through Caria Manor in the far north of Liurnia, and reach the Three Sisters towers on the other side.
  • Speak with Ranni the witch in her tower, and agree to serve her.
  • Ranni will send you to Nokron, the Eternal City. Defeat the major boss of that region and return to Ranni.
  • Exhaust Ranni's dialogue, and she will gift you an item: the Carian Inverted Statue.

Elden Ring: a talk with Ranni the witch results in the player being gifted the Inverted Carian Statue.

This strange statue is shaped like an hourglass, and its name should give you a clue to its purpose. Return to the Carian Study Hall and interact with the pedestal again. You will place the Carian Inverted Statue upon the pedestal, which prompts a cutscene wherein the entire Study Hall turns upside down .

Now you must fight through the newly inverted Carian Study Hall, and you'll find you can now reach the top (which is now the bottom) and activate the lift there, which at long last takes you to the bridge between the Carian Study Hall and the Divine Tower of Liurnia.

Be warned: guarding this bridge at approximately the halfway point is a Godskin Noble enemy. This very powerful creature is harder than most bosses you're likely to have encountered so far, so either take extra care facing it, or ride right past it to reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia.

Elden Ring: the player faces off against a Godskin Noble enemy on the bridge to the Divine Tower of Liurnia.

That's how you can get into the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring. Simple as that, eh? If you're feeling a little underprepared for this startlingly difficult questline, then be sure to check out our guides on the best weapons and best armour in Elden Ring. You can also check out some great rune farming locations across the map, and consult our Elden Ring boss locations guide to find some easier encounters to prepare yourself for the powerful foes ahead.

How to unlock the Liurnia Divine Tower in Elden Ring

Image of Jon Yelenic

You can visit any one of Elden Ring’s Divine Towers to activate Great Runes, find some good loot, and fight some powerful enemies. One of these towers, found in Liurnia, will require you to advance fairly deep into one NPC’s questline before you’re able to access it. Here’s how to get into the Liurnia Divine Tower.

You will access the Liurnia Divine Tower via Carian Study Hall, but you won’t be able to do so at first. You’ll first need to  obtain the Inverted Carian Statue , which can only be acquired via  Ranni the Witch’s questline . To start her questline, speak to her in  the Three Sisters area , which you’ll find by fighting through Carian Manor. She’ll task you with finding the Eternal City of Nokron, which you’ll be able to access after defeating Starscourge Radahn. Once you’re inside Nokron, you’ll need to  find the Fingerslayer Blade . After you obtain this item, return it to Ranni, and she’ll give you the Inverted Carian Statue.

Now, head over to Carian Study Hall, which we have marked below on the map.

Screenshot of Elden Ring's map showing the location of Carian Study Hall

Head inside, and you’ll see a pedestal in front of you. Interact with this pedestal, and your character will place the statue on it. The entire study hall will now turn upside-down, and you’ll be able to advance forward. The inverted study hall calls for a bit of platforming, and is wrought with fast enemies, so proceed with caution. In the center of the inverted study hall, there should be an elevator for you to ride down. Take it, and then head through the large set of double doors in front of you.

You’ll now be at the bridge leading to the Liurnia Divine Tower. There’s a powerful Godskin Noble on it that you can either fight or run past. Once you get past this enemy, just make your way across the bridge, take the elevator up, and you’ll be at the top of the tower.

The Divine Towers in Elden Ring are special areas associated with specific gods or demi-gods. The Divine Towers can restore Great Runes, and the one at Liurnia of the Lakes can restore the Cursemark of Death. The Cursemark of Death can be found on a dead body at the top of the Liurnia of the Lakes Divine Tower. Along with restoring Great Runes, there are plenty of enemies to fight and valuable loot to find within any Divine Tower. The Liurnia of the Lakes Divine Tower requires progression through Ranni's questline to unlock it.

Obtaining the Inverted Carian Statue in Elden Ring

To complete Ranni's questline in Elden Ring , players will need to defeat Starscourge Radahn in Redmane Castle and gain access to Nokron. In the Eternal City of Nokron, players can find the Fingerslayer Blade. After obtaining the Fingerslayer Blade, players can return to Ranni and give her the lost treasure she was looking for, then she will hand over the Inverted Carian Statue. There is more to completing Ranni's questline, but players don't need to progress any further to access the Liurnia of the Lakes Divine Tower.

With the Inverted Carian Statue in hand, Elden Ring players can head to Carian Study Hall located at the other end of the bridge leading to the Divine Tower. Once inside, players can place the Inverted Carian Statue onto the pedestal, and the whole area will turn upside down. There will be a few platforming challenges to complete to reach the middle of Carian Study Hall. At the center, there's an elevator that leads to the Liurnia of the Lakes Divine Tower.

Players can take the elevator down and head through the double doors to reach the bridge leading to the Liurnia of the Lakes Divine Tower. A Godskin Noble is waiting on the bridge, so players will either need to fight or run to get past it. Regardless of whether or not this Elden Ring enemy is killed, players can reach the other side of the bridge where there's another elevator. The elevator will stop at the top of the Liurnia of the Lakes Divine Tower in Elden Rin g, then players can explore the tower.

This part of the Elden Ring Walkthrough is dedicated to the optional areas known as the “ Carian Study Hall ” and the “ Divine Tower of Liurnia “. Here you will find the complete description of these areas as well as the location of the items to collect.

Items to Collect

– Carian Glintstone Staff – Magic Downpour – Cerulean Seed Talisman – Mask of Confidence – Lucidity – Godskin Noble Set – Cursemark of Death – Stargazer Heirloom

Carian Study Hall

Go to the entrance of this area located at the eastern end of Liurnia and activate the Site of Grace, then take the elevator south of the entrance ( pictures1-2 ). Once upstairs, climb the stairs to see Preceptor Miriam appear, an NPC who will now make your life a living hell ( picture3 ).

Immediately after Miriam appears, run towards her and chain as many attacks as possible to force her to teleport. Once this is done, go to her new position without worrying about the Spirits but making sure to absolutely avoid the projectile of her magic bow ( picture4 ). Once in contact, hurt her before heading upstairs to resume the fight ( pictures5-6 ).

After Miriam’s third disappearance, retrieve the Carian Glintstone Staff from the nearby corpse, and then take the elevator in the back hallway ( pictures7-8 ). On the upper floor, run in the direction of the NPC, while dodging her projectiles ( picture9 ).

At the first opportunity, climb the ladder on the northwest side and hide on the beams ( pictures10-11 ). From this position, you can either send your spells to Miriam without her really being able to react, or fall on her to finish her in close combat ( picture12 ).

In any case, you get the Magic Downpour spell when this NPC finally dies, and can then retrieve the Cerulean Seed Talisman , which is on a corpse on the upper level ( pictures13-14-15 ).

Carian Study Hall (Inverted)

To be able to access this second version of the Study Hall, you will have to progress in Ranni ’s quest until you obtain the Carian Inverted Statue ( picture16 ). From this point, return to this area and place the object on the pedestal to trigger a cutscene ( picture17 ). At the end of it, approach the corridor to the south and go down into the elevator shaft ( picture18 ).

From there, go through the window and eliminate the enemies, Preceptor Miriam will then appear again a little further ( pictures19-20 ). If you are a mage, you can immediately send spells to her to force her to move.

tour divine liurnia

Otherwise, go to the left and drop onto the ledge below ( pictures21-22 ). When you land, turn around and retrieve the Mask of Confidence from the corpse ( picture23 ).

tour divine liurnia

Once this is done, go the other way to find Miriam and attack her in close contact or to finish her off from a distance ( pictures24-25 ). In both cases, you get the Lucidity spell ( picture26 ).

tour divine liurnia

After that, go to the right and reach the lower level, then you will have to jump on one of the chandeliers below ( pictures27-28 ). From this point, go down on the beams and reach the elevator in the center of the area ( picture29 ).

tour divine liurnia

The Divine Tower of Liurnia

Upstairs, open the back door to reach the bridge leading to the Divine Tower of Liurnia and find a Site of Grace ( pictures30-31 ). After activating the latter, continue on your way and face the Godskin Noble to obtain the Godskin Noble Set ( picture32 ).

tour divine liurnia

At the end of this fight, reach the Divine Tower and use the elevator, then climb to the top and search Ranni ‘s corpse to recover the Cursemark of Death , an essential item for the progress of Fia ‘s quest, as well as the Stargazer Heirloom Talisman ( pictures33-34-35 ).

All Elden Ring Divine Tower locations: How to activate Great Runes

A holy high.

Update: We've streamlined the information on this page and added some additional tips so that you have no trouble finding Elden Ring's Divine Towers and activating any Great Runes that you have collected.

Elden Ring Divine Towers are easy to find in theory. The massive monoliths loom above the horizon everywhere you look, but they're locked behind dungeons, quests, and sometimes even boss fights.

If you want to make the most of your demigod spoils, you’ll need to brave their challenges. Divine Towers are the only way to activate Great Runes . These are completely separate from Remembrances, so even if you opt to consume a Remembrance and ignore the weapons and spells they offer, you can still activate Great Runes. It's also a one-time process. While you can swap Great Runes at Sites of Grace, you only need to activate them once.

How do you activate Great Runes in Elden Ring?

  • Where is Limgrave’s Divine Tower?
  • Where is Liurnia’s Divine Tower?
  • Where is Caelid’s Divine Tower?

Where is the Divine Tower of East Altus in Elden Ring?

  • Where is the Divine Tower of West Altus?
  • How do you activate Malenia’s Great Rune?

Each Great Rune needs to be activated at the Divine Tower in the region where you defeated the demigod in question, with a few exceptions. Activating Malenia’s Great Rune takes you to the Isolated Tower in the middle of the ocean, and Rennala’s Great Rune doesn’t need activating. Its power is granting you rebirth (respeccing) and is always active.

The trouble is, Elden Ring is pretty happy not telling you much about Divine Towers and how they work. Divine Towers are massive structures visible from anywhere in their respective regions, though getting inside is often a much more complicated matter. Most Divine Towers are relatively straightforward once you gain access – except Caelid’s, which is fittingly hellish.

Where is Limgrave’s Divine Tower in Elden Ring?

If you want to activate Godrick ’s Great Rune – and you should, since it’s among the best – you’ll need to venture back inside Stormveil Castle. The route to Limgrave’s tower is just inside the front gate. If you took the long way around, head back south through the courtyard from the Liftside Site of Grace. You’ll still have to contend with the deadly ballistae and fire bombs, but the pacing is slightly better than storming the front gate.

Take a left under the portcullis, and just run. There’s a deadly sword-wielding lion that attacks, and unless you’ve cleared out the enemies in the courtyard, fighting this is more trouble than it’s worth. Activate the Site of Grace beyond the statues – these don’t come to life, no matter how threatening they look – and move ahead onto the bridge.

You’ll eventually reach two giant golems, an axe-wielding one and a greatbow golem. You can defeat them if you want or just run past them and activate the teleporter. From there, it’s just a matter of following the staircase up to the tower’s roof and activating the Rune next to the dead Fingers. Once activated and when equipped, Godrick's Great Rune raises all of your attributes by five.

Where is Liurnia’s Divine Tower in Elden Ring?

Liurnia’s Divine Tower is the Carian Study Hall, east of the Church of Vows. You can access it from the north, at the end of the road opposite the Ainsel Well elevator. It’s required for Ranni’s quest, and Ranni’s ending subsequently, but not for Rennala ’s Great Rune. Inside is a host of ghostly Carian knights and scholars, along with the miniboss Preceptor Miriam.

She fires Glintstone Comet and uses the Glinstone greatbow spell, and she also vanishes after taking a certain amount of damage. You’ll fight her for most of your trip up the tower. Bolster your magic defenses to make this easier.

Rennala's Great Rune is essentially your ability to respec; you won't actually be able to acivate it at the Divine Tower or Liurnia. Instead, your reward for venturing to the tower is a key part of Ranni's quest , and there's ultimately no point going to the tower until Ranni asks you to invert it. There's also a Godskin Noble here who's armor you can collect after defeating it.

Where is Caelid’s Divine Tower in Elden Ring?

Caelid’s Divine Tower is in Dragonbarrow, south of the Bestial Sanctum and east of the Isolated Merchant’s Shack. It’s also a bit of a trial to enter that requires you to parkour along the outside of it for the most part, rather than venturing inside.

Approach it from the west, and use the giant roots to reach the platform outside of the tower with a campfire. There is also a slope on the other side of the tower that takes you down to a circle of dead people in a chair, where you can grab some Somber Smithing Stones and a few other rare items.

tour divine liurnia

Once you’re ready to start climbing, head toward the platform with the campfire. Defeat the soldier, and climb the ladder. Walk across the buttress to the other side, defeat the soldier there, and climb the ladder. Use the buttress to cross the gap to your left, and continue making your way around the tower counterclockwise. You’ll need Torrent’s double jump for a few of these areas. Just take care to hug the wall as you jump, since Elden Ring likes to have you bounce off the edges of ledges at times.

Activate the tower Site of Grace, and head up the stairs to your right. Heading left takes you into the tower basement, a complicated platforming maze with Godskin Monks and a Godskin Apostle at the bottom. If you don’t feel like taking that route, you’re free to skip it. The elevator at the top of the stairs takes you to the top of the tower, where you can activate Radahn ’s Great Rune. This boosts your HP, FP, and max Stamina.

The Divine Tower of East Altus is east of Leyndell, on the road to the Mountaintops of the Giants, and it’s one of the easier ones to reach. You have to defeat Morgott before the path opens. After that, it’s just a matter of taking the capital outskirts road east until you reach the Grand Lift of Rold .

After taking the lift, take the second exit that doesn't lead you outside into the Forbidden Lands (but do grab the Site of Grace here). You'll soon find yourself in the dark, literally, as two Fell Twins fight you. After that, however, you'll be straight on your way to the Divine Tower of East Altus.

Here, you'll be able to activate both Morgott and Mohg 's Great Runes. Morgott's will raise your maximum HP when equipped, while Mohg's will provide the blessing of blood to phantoms when equipped. This means that any of your summoned Spirit Ashes will have the blessing of blood while using Mohg's Rune; they'll gain a buff when inflicting blood loss and be able to life-steal, which is great for bleed build players or Black Knife Tiche users.

tour divine liurnia

Where is the Divine Tower of West Altus in Elden Ring?

The Divine Tower of West Altus is where you’ll activate Rykard ’s Great Rune, so you'll need to beat him first before you're able to access the tower.

Enter the Sealed Tunnels outside Leyndell – accessed by descending to the moat – and defeat Onyx Lord at the end of it. The path that opens after him leads to the tower, but you will no doubt be spending plenty of time getting lost in the Sealed Tunnels among all of its illusory walls first...

How do you activate Malenia’s Great Rune in Elden Ring?

Malenia ’s Great Rune is a bit different. You’ll need to access the Isolated Divine Tower, which is in the middle of the ocean. There’s a teleporter in the capital that takes you there, though.

Head towards the Fortified Manor, but in the large hall where you normally turn right, take the first doorway instead of the second. Follow the pathway until you reach a gate in the metal fence. Turn left, and there’s an elevator at the far end. There’s also a giant iron maiden with two Ghiza’s Wheels in the courtyard. Deal with it first, or at least distract it so you can reach the elevator without it joining you.

Follow the path once the elevator stops, and take the teleporter. It transports you to the tower, where you can activate the Rune at the dead Fingers like usual. Malenia's Great Rune, when equipped, will allow you to recover HP whenever you dish out an attack after taking damage.

How To Get To The Divine Tower Of Liurnia In Elden Ring

The Divine Tower of Liurnia is a location in Elden Ring that you can only enter by investigating the Carian Study Hall for Fia's quest.

Divine Tower Of Liurnia in Elden Ring

The Divine Tower of Liurnia is another tricky location in Elden Ring that is easier to find than getting access.

Without giving away any spoilers, the only reason to go out of the way to enter the Divine Tower of Liurnia is for an item needed for another quest. There are no merchants here or unique loot to find. There is a boss though but not inside the tower. He will be standing between you and the doorway.

So, how to get to the tower? You need to invert the Carian Study Hall. How do you do that? By completing another quest for an item.

Divine Tower of Liurnia location in Elden Ring

The Divine Tower of Liurnia lies in the eastern region of Liurnia of the Lakes in Elden Ring. It is connected by a long bridge to the Carian Study Hall, the one which you need to turn upside down to gain access to the tower.

tour divine liurnia

Since we can only reach the tower through the hall, we must complete Fia’s quest to obtain the item and use it inside the study hall to open the path toward the tower.

How to reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring

The best way to reach the hall is to use the fast travel option and make your way to the Eastern shore site of Liurnia Lake. Getting your desired location from here becomes straightforward as you just need to move east before turning south to find the Carian Study Hall.

You will come across an altar on the right side of the hall that plays a pivotal role in creating the way toward the tower. You can only activate the altar by using the Carian Inverted Statue.

However, in case you do not have the Carian Inverted Statue to activate the altar, you need to complete Ranni’s quest for the Fingerslayer Blade before returning.

Find Carian Inverted Statue

To get the Carian Inverted Statue in Elden Ring, head to Caelid Wilds and defeat General Radahn before moving to Caria Manor .

In this area, you need to speak with the witch, Ranni , by reaching the Three Sisters Tower. You must agreed to serve her and then defeat Nokron as part of Ranni’s questline.

You should put the boss to your sword and return to the witch for a conversation. She will offer you the much-required Carian Inverted Statue, so you should grab it and move back to the Carian Study Hall.

Activate the lift and reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia

You need to place the Carian Inverted Statue on the pedestal, and this will cause the Study Hall to turn upside down. You can now easily reach the top of the hall, and you need to activate the lift.

This lift will take you to the bridge that connects the Carian Study Hall with the Divine Tower of Liurnia. However, you will have to fight a powerful enemy here.

The Godskin Noble is a strong foe, and you need to defeat the creature to access the tower, so plan your moves strategically and use strong attacks to defeat the gruesome-looking boss.

The death of the boss will clear the path toward the tower. You get the following items in your quest for the Divine Tower of Liurnia in Elden Ring.

  • Stargazer Heirloom
  • Godskin Noble Hood
  • Godskin Noble Robe
  • Godskin Noble Bracelets
  • Godskin Noble Trousers
  • Cursemark of Death

Every Liurnia dungeon location and their rewards in Elden Ring

Here’s a map of all the optional dungeons in Liurnia of the Lakes

by Jeffrey Parkin

Elden Ring guide: Liurnia dungeon locations and rewards

In this Elden Ring Liurnia of the Lakes dungeons and rewards guide, we’ll list all of the optional dungeons in North, East, and West Liurnia along with their corresponding reward. We’ve also plotted their locations on a helpful map!

Elden Ring ’s dungeons are optional areas — usually caves or tunnels — for you to explore. They usually have a valuable reward or valuable crafting materials inside. And perhaps most importantly, they’re an opportunity for you to collect runes and gradually upgrade your character’s stats. Lirunia of the Lakes is an early and beneficial place to further build your character.

Elden Ring Liurnia of the Lakes dungeon locations

Elden Ring guide: Liurnia dungeon locations and rewards

Not every one of the icons on the map above are for a dungeon (or a cave, catacomb, or tunnel). Instead, we’ve marked dungeons as well as ruins or other locations that contain a mini-boss or a valuable reward (or both). You’ll find them in the following named locations:

Academy Crystal Cave

Artist’s shack, black knife catacombs, church of vows, cliffbottom catacombs, converted tower, the four belfries, frenzy-flaming tower, highway lookout tower, kingsrealm ruins, lakeside crystal cave, laskyar ruins, purified ruins, raya lucaria crystal tunnel, revenger’s shack, road’s end catacombs, rose church, stillwater cave, tetsu’s rise.

On the northwest side of Raya Lucaria Academy, you’ll find the Academy Crystal Cave — you’ll need two stonesword keys to get in. The inside is full of sorcerer enemies and a few rats, but you’ll collect lots of various mosses, a Rune Arc , and the Crystal Staff.

This dungeon’s boss(es) is a pair of Crystalians like you fight in the Raya Lucaria Crystal Cave . You’ll get the Crystal Release sorcery when you defeat them and can pick up the Terra Magicus sorcery nearby.

Academy Crystal Cave walkthrough

In this Elden Ring Academy Crystal Cave guide, we’ll tell you where to find the cave, what loot to expect, enemies you’ll encounter, and where to look for an illusory wall.

There’s nothing going on at the Artist’s Shack in eastern Liurnia, but there is a site of grace and the Resurrection Painting to find.

The Black Knife Catacombs in the far northeast are full of skeletons and crabs, including two giant crabs. Inside, you’ll pick up the Rosus’ Axe and a Rune Arc. There are two bosses in these catacombs, the Black Knife Assassin boss who drops the Assassin Cerulean Dagger and a Cemetery Shade who drops the Twinsage Sorcerer Spirit Ashes. There’s also a Deathroot to collect that you can give to Gurranq, Beast Clergyman in the Beastial Sanctum in Caelid.

Black Knife Catacombs guide

In this Elden Ring Black Knife Catacombs guide, we’ll tell you where to find the dungeon, what loot to expect, enemies you’ll encounter, and how to handle the bosses.

There’s no fighting to be done at the Church of Vows, but it’s an important location. You’ll find a chest with the Golden Sewing Needle and Golden Tailoring Tools here. Inside, you’ll meet Muriel, Pastor of Vows (the Turtle Pope!) who sells sorceries and incantations and imparts a lot of lore. The statue in this church is where you can trade in Celestial Dew to revive any NPC merchants you’ve (hopefully accidentally) killed.

If you visit at night, you might spawn a Bell Bearing Hunter who drops the Meat Peddler’s Bell Bearing.

Church of Vows guide

In this Elden Ring Church of Vows guide, we’ll tell you how to get to Church of Vows, what loot to expect, and how to find an enemy encounter.

In the southeast of Liurnia of the Lakes, the Cliffbottom Catacombs are full of imps, ogres, and another Erdtree Burial Watchdog. You’ll find the Nox Mirrorhelm, a Rune Arc, a scythe, and a warped axe inside. You’ll also pick up the Page and Kaiden Sellsword Spirit Ashes.

Cliffbottom Catacombs walkthrough

In this Elden Ring Cliffbottom Catacombs walkthrough, we’ll tell you where to find the dungeon, what enemies you’ll encounter, and how to survive long enough to snag some fantastic loot.

The Converted Tower in southwest Liurnia is one of several towers (or “rises”) in the region. There’s a puzzle to get inside — you’ll need to perform the Erudition gesture that you learn by giving Thops an Academy Glintstone Key (he’s at the Church of Irith). Your rewards are a Cuckoo Glintstone, Magic Grease, and a Memory Stone.

Converted Tower guide

In this Elden Ring Converted Tower guide, we’ll show you the Converted Tower location, what loot to expect, enemies you’ll encounter, and what preparations to make before you visit.

The Four Belfries in the northwest are not really ruins. They’re a hub for three different Waygates (teleporters) that lead to Crumbling Farum Azula , the Chapel of Anticipation, and Nokron, Eternal City . Each Waygate requires an Imbued Stonesword Key.

You’ll need to be careful approaching the Frenzy-Flaming Tower since there’s a flaming sphere of madness at the top that fills your madness gauge as you approach. The best way to avoid dying of madness is to use the rocks and cliffs for cover — your gauge won’t fill if you can’t see the sphere. Climb to the top of the tower and kill the six frenzied villagers there to destroy the orb. In the tower, you’ll find a chest with the Howl of Shabriri incantation inside.

The Highway Lookout Tower in the southeast of Liurnia is full of sorcerers ready to give you a hard time. In the tower itself, you’ll find the Glintstone Craftsman’s Cookbook (3) and, when you kill the Twinsage Sorcerer at the top, a Carian Glintblade Staff.

The abandoned village of Jarburg is on the eastern coast of Liurnia below the Carian Study Hall . It’s full of Living Jars who will mostly ignore you unless you pick a fight. There are several cracked pots and ritual pots to find in the village. More importantly, the village is full of gardens where you can collect all sorts of plants for crafting — and those plants respawn each visit.

Jarburg Guide

Jarburg is a dungeon in Elden Ring ’s Liurnia of the Lakes region , where you can find numerous pots, jar shards, and runes, as well as floral crafting materials. By completing the Diallos side quest, you can eventually secure the Companion Jar talisman, Hoslow’s Petal Whip , and Diallos’s Mask . In this Elden Ring Jarburg guide, we’ll tell you where to find the area and what loot to expect.

Inside the Kingsrealm Ruins in the northwest of Liurnia, you’ll find an illusory door that you need to roll across to reveal. Underground, you’ll face off against a Royal Revenant who guards a Frozen Needle Rapier.

On the southern shore of the eponymous lake, you’ll find an easy-to-miss entrance to the Lakeside Crystal Cave a little south and east of the Scenic Isle site of grace. You’ll face some demi-humans inside along with some Crystal Snails. This dungeon’s boss is a Bloodhound Knight who drops the Cerulean Amber Medallion that raises your FP.

After you defeat the Bloodhound Knight, you’ll be able to continue to the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack where you’ll meet Latenna.

In the southern part of the lake, you’ll find the Laskyar Ruins. There are only a few enemies and no boss in this area, but there are a few useful items scattered around nearby. Look for a smithing stone (3), a ritual pot, and an underground chamber where you’ll find a wraith calling bell.

The Purified Ruins is in the southeast of Liurnia. Make sure to grab the Shabriri Grape and Two Fingers Heirloom talisman items. You’ll also find a Waygate here that teleports you to the Raya Lucaria Academy entrance.

The Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel on the northern (and a little east) shore of the lake is a great place to collect smithing stones and somber smithing stones — you’ll find a lot of each here. This dungeon’s boss, a Crystalian, drops the Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing that lets you purchase smithing stones from the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold.

Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel walkthrough

Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel is a dungeon in Elden Ring ’s Liurnia of the Lakes region , where you can find the Miner’s Bell Bearing and assorted smithing materials — including Somber Smithing Stones . In this Elden Ring Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel guide, we’ll show you how to get to Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel, what loot to expect, the enemies you’ll encounter, and how to follow the quickest route to the area boss.

The Revenger’s Shack in the southwest of Liurnia is where you’ll meet Edgar the Revenger. He’ll drop a Banished Knight Halberd +8, five Raw Meat Dumplings, and a Shabriri Grape when you defeat him.

The Road’s End Catacombs in southwestern Liurnia is populated with imps and several illusory doors. The catacombs’ boss is a Spirit-Caller Snail who summons a spirit to fight for it while it hides in the corner invisible. Your rewards for clearing this dungeon are a Rune Arc, the Watchdog’s Staff, and the Raya Lucaria Soldier and Glintstone Sorcerer Spirit Ashes.

The Rose Church in the southwest of the lake is an overgrown and, frankly, gross church. You’ll have to fight a Sanguine Noble inside, where your reward is the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook (12). Once the Noble is defeated, you’ll meet White-Faced Varre outside who will give you the Festering Bloody Finger item.

White-Faced Varré questline walkthrough

The first NPC you meet in Elden Ring is White-Faced Varré , who infamously points out that you’ve arrived in the Lands Between “maidenless.” It can be tempting to kill Varré then and there, but doing so precludes you from completing his storyline, which is well worth doing — as you’ll find out in this guide to completing Varré’s side quest. Seeing Varré’s story through to its conclusion will give you a taste of PvP, grant you access to a secret optional area, and even potentially earn you a new Great Rune.

Stillwater Cave is at the southern tip of the lake, directly below the Lake-Facing Cliffs where you started. The cave is full of poisonous flowers, bats, and Servants of Rot. You’ll be able to collect the Sage armor set inside and the dungeon’s boss, the Cleanrot Knight, drops the Winged Sword Insignia talisman that increases your attack power with successive hits.

Tetsu’s Rise in the northwestern part of the lake is very much like Oridy’s Rise in the Weeping Plateau . You’ll need to find and kill three spectral turtles to unlock the seal on the front door. Inside, you’ll find another Memory Stone.

You may have started questlines that progress into Liurnia of The Lakes or you may just be looking for an all-around overview of the area. This walkthrough breaks down all important locations, loot, and bosses within this section of the map.

Elden Ring: 11 Best Crafted Items

These are the best items you can whip up in Elden Ring.

The guide below will show you the necessary steps to completing the main objective in Liurnia of The Lakes and how to move on to the next area. That isn't without showcasing every dungeon and point of interest that will help you beef up your character before progressing forward in Elden Ring.

Updated July 25, 2024, by Andrew Scariati: We've added more details about NPCs, merchant inventories, and other information in our Liurnia of the Lakes walkthrough. If you have just arrived and aren't sure what to do in Liurnia of the Lakes, we've got you covered with all the important people, places, and things you'll encounter. You'll be en route to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC in no time if you follow this guide.

Your first Site of Grace may have an NPC, Hyetta . If you've started Boc's quest in Limgrave, he will be here as well.

A list of all notable NPCs is lower in the guide.

After speaking with Hyetta, head right.

There will be a church here with another NPC, Sorcerer Thops .

Speaking to him embarks you on another short quest.

There is a Sacred Tear inside here, too.

Across from the church, further down, there will be a graveyard with an Academy Scroll to loot. This will give you new sorceries when given to a sorcerer.

Continue down the winding path.

There will be a camp full of enemies here. You can either take it down or run through it with your mount. The next Site of Grace is Liurnia Lake Shore, next to a merchant .

If you have the runes to spare, we recommend purchasing a lantern here.

The next step is to activate all useful Sites of Grace before exploring.

Hop onto Torrent and sprint through the swamps to activate Sites of Grace and collect a map fragment at speed.

Useful Sites of Grace to quickly pick up are the Scenic Isle , Academy Gate Town , and Temple Quarter (above). This makes a walk through the Lakes easier as the first step.

All Lake Map Fragments

The first map fragment you can pick up is directly north of the Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace .

The next closest one is directly beside the Academy Gate Town Site of Grace .

Finally, the last Liurnia of The Lakes map fragment is located on the left side of the huge lake, north of Raya Lucaria Academy .

From Academy Gate Town Site of Grace, attempt to head towards the largest structure in the middle of the lake . Near the ramp-up is a Golden Seed Tree . The large structure will be full of enemies to face.

This is the south entrance to Raya Lucaria Academy , by the way; the legacy dungeon in the area, and one of the two ways to access the next part of the game .

After defeating all enemies blocking your path inside the academy and accessing the South Raya Lucaria Site of Grace, you'll find the south gate is magically sealed off .

This dragon is located north of the Temple Quarter Site of Grace .

Elden Ring: 11 Best Catacombs, Ranked

These are Elden Ring's very best catacombs for fighting and exploring.

See our Raya Lucaria Academy Legacy Dungeon Guide here for a thorough walkthrough of the entire dungeon.

This legacy dungeon is stocked full of ranged enemies. It is a school for sorcerers and sorceresses after all.

The dungeon also harbors two large bosses and tons of loot. You'll have to progress past mages, undead ghouls, the Red Wolf of Radagon , an invasion, and then Rennala herself.

Sorcerer Thops' quest can be completed by finding the second Glintstone Key in the academy . This is done by navigating the rooftops past the Debate Parlor Site of Grace.

A Golden Seed can be found in the outdoor courtyard under a bridge, too, past the Debate Parlour Site of Grace.

You can also find two Spirit Ashes: The Avionette Ashes can be found by jumping off the rotating platform just before the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace, while the Marionette Ashes can be seen glowing underneath the marionette shooting at you in the graveyard nearest the Church of Cuckoo Site of Grace.

To access it, you want to jump off the bridge there instead of walking down it.

Don't free fall; stay on the edge of where the bridge starts and look for the ground beneath.

From here, walk along the edge to the other side and continue up the hill. Kill the marionettes and loot the ashes.

After completing this legacy dungeon you can go to the Grand Lift of Dectus from the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace to travel to the next area.

You could also proceed to explore more of Liurnia of The Lakes instead, to make your character stronger. At the end of this guide, you will find all dungeons and points of interest for doing so.

Caria Manor is not necessary to complete to progress forward in the game, but it's the second-biggest dungeon in Liurnia of The Lakes , right next to Raya Lucaria Academy, and holds some pretty important NPCs and loot.

The manor is full of hand-shaped enemies called "Fingercrawlers." They are traps you can trigger on the ground, or they will find a way to jump on you when you least expect it.

The Three Sisters towers are where you start Ranni The Witch's questline .

Completing Caria Manor can be done at any given time.

It may be reasonable to do so before entering Raya Lucaria Academy since it is the lesser dungeon. For a more detailed walkthrough of Caria Manor , check out our full guide here .

Elden Ring: 11 Best Spells For PvP And Where To Find Them

From Star Shower to Magic Glintblade and Honed Bolt, here are some of the best spells to use in Elden Ring's PvP.

There are two ways to enter the next part of the game, Altus Plateau .

You can either use the Grand Lift of Dectus or travel through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice , both accessible through Liurnia of The Lakes.

You can travel to the next area without completing the bosses or legacy dungeon of Liurnia of The Lakes.

The Grand Lift of Dectus can be accessed by using the east portal at the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace. However, the grand lift needs a medallion to activate.

You must find both halves of the medallion :

  • The left half of the medallion is found in a treasure chest inside Fort Haight , located in East Limgrave.
  • The right half of the medallion is found in a treasure chest in Fort Faroth , located in Caelid.

With both sides of the medallion, all you have to do is travel to the Grand Lift of Dectus and stand in the center, hoisting the medallion.

This cave system is located directly north of the lakes, following the river upward .

You must climb ladders and enter a cave system and keep following it until you can't.

There are lots of enemies within this area. You can either take your time or sprint through it for the sake of getting the first Site of Grace in the Altus Plateau.

There are a few quests you can start in Limgrave that will continue into Liurnia of The Lakes.

Make sure you pick up some of the best weapons in Limgrave before you head into Liurnia of the Lakes.

This is a short breakdown of where to find the most important NPCs in the area to start or continue their questlines.

This Talisman offers a ten percent bonus damage with skills, while the Shard of Alexander you get at the end of his story boasts a 15 percent bonus.

If you're going for a mage build in Elden Ring, these are the armor sets you'll want to use.

  • Larval Tears - Right of Caria Manor, middle of the lake, Albinauric Village.
  • Golden Seeds - Academy Gate Town, Raya Lucaria Academy.
  • Sacred Tears - Church of Irith, Bellum Church, Church of Inhibition.
  • Memory Stones - Converted Tower, Tetsu's Rise, Red Wolf of Radagon.
  • Crystal Tears - South-West Minor Erdtree, North-East Minor Erdtree.

You'll find some of the best early-game weapons in this area to complement these fantastic spells and incantations.

There are smaller, elite enemies, and evergaol bosses you can find and defeat within Liurnia of The Lakes.

The ones listed above are the main big ones that you'll for sure bump into.

None of these bosses are mandatory for the main story, but they are mandatory for some side quests.

These are every dungeon and cave within Liurnia of The Lakes. Once you've completed the legacy dungeon and Caria Manor, you'll want to beef up your character before traveling to the capital city. Running through these dungeons will reward you with spells , armor , and runes for leveling up.

Navigate the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow with our in-depth guides and walkthroughs.

These points of interest are smaller dungeons or areas that involve difficult fights and great rewards . They are locations you'll find yourself needing access to for side quests, but not knowing how to get there. You can find out more lore by visiting these places, as well as collecting more items and leveling up.

Carian Study Hall

This is a grand study hall full of sorcery. If you're playing a mage, running through it is hard but worthwhile .

As soon as you go up the lift here, you'll be met with a sorceress who uses great spells to attack you from a distance while summoning lots of smaller enemies.

Her attacks take you out within one to two hits and no summons are available in the study hall. That's what makes this place so difficult.

Carian Study Hall is in East Liurnia and is attached to a Divine Tower.

You'll need to go through here for Ranni The Witch's quest .

Church of Vows

The Church of Vows is a special place in Liurnia of The Lakes. At night, a boss will spawn inside. This location is relevant to Semester Boc's quest line , as the chest inside contains a Golden Sewing Needle needed to progress in his quest. A crucial NPC also lives here.

Miriel, Paster of Vows can be used for Incantations and Sorceries, as well as lore.

The statue in this church is the main attraction. Bringing Celestial Dew to this statue grants you the option to " carry out Absolution ". Doing this removes aggression from any NPC's you may have accidentally attacked or killed.

Jarburg is a small village full of jar-people , much like our friend Alexander, The Iron Fist.

There is a small jar located here that can continue the questline of Diallos and Alexander if done correctly. To do so, you'll want to have already progressed with Diallos leaving Volcano Manor, and have already completed Alexander's questline.

Jarburg is below and behind Carian Study Hall in Easy Liurnia.

Albinauric Village

This village has a smaller and easier boss. If you're having trouble finding NPC Nepheli Loux , she can be found here on the way up.

To get to this village, you should first start at the Converted Tower Site of Grace and continue south to southeast. It's located in southwest Liurnia.

There will be dirty water full of crabs. Keep a close eye on the cliffside until you see hanging bodies . There is a ramp upward where you will traverse onto the rocks and come out the other end of the village.

Folly On The Lake Site Of Grace is another nearby grace, where you'll want to head south and go west, against the wall until you find a ramp-up.

Albinauric Village holds a hidden NPC that provides access to a different Grand Lift .

Frenzied Flame Village

Frenzied Flame Village is a unique area in Elden Ring. Before you even get remotely close to the Frenzied Flame, you'll hear fiery explosions and will start to develop the status effect Madness . An NPC invasion can happen here. The Frenzied Flame Village is in Northeastern Liurnia.

If you want to achieve the Lord of Frenzied Flame alternate ending in Elden Ring , your journey relates to this village.

Moonlight Altar

After exploring most of Liurnia of The Lakes, you'll notice an area you're having a hard time getting to that's near the Albinauric Village.

You can't access any other part of this area in southwest Liurnia until you've completed Ranni The Witch's questline .

Doing so will automatically place you at the Moonlight Altar. This area is full of ruins, an evergaol, Chelona's Rise tower, and is the second location of Glintstone Dragon Adula .

Part One: Liurnia West

Part two: liurnia north, part three: liurnia east.

Feast your eyes on beautiful and equally terrifying embodiments of death.
