Time Out says

After teasing us in December with a  Renaissance listening party , Beyoncé is back in L.A.—for real this time—with a planned stop on the Renaissance World Tour. Here’s everything we know so far.

When is the Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour coming to L.A.?

Queen Bey will hit Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium on September 1, 2 and 4, 2023, which marks the first time she’s played in L.A. since the reprise of her On the Run Tour with Jay-Z back in 2018 (the same year she played Coachella ). In other words, the demand for tickets is going to be bonkers.

How can I get tickets to the Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour?

Let’s move onto the only part of the show that may break your soul. You can register for a chance to buy tickets  through Thursday, February 2 at 8:59pm (for the second show, the deadline is Friday, February 3 at 9am). If you’re chosen, you’ll be given an access code to try your hand at tickets—and when exactly that is depends on which of the three registration groups you get chosen for (if any).

BeyHive members  will receive an email by February 5 letting them know whether or not they’ve been chosen, and that sale will begin on February 6; for the general fan verification, you’ll know on February 10 and the sale begins February 11. Citi has a registration for cardholders that’ll get them access to tickets on February 7; Verizon Up has a promo, too, that we expect fall somewhere in the middle there. So far, it looks as though pre-registration will only allow you to choose one show, not multiple.

Given the recent track record of Ticketmaster’s on-sale experience for these mega shows (see: Taylor Swift ), we expect plenty of fans will want to go all  Lemonade because of the process. While there was only one show announced initially, a second has already been added—and we can’t help but stare at the weeklong gap in both Beyonce’s and the stadium’s schedule for the days that follow.

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour. Here Are the California Show Dates

Beyoncé's renaissance tour is taking place in north america and europe from may to september., by maria celeste alfaro • published february 2, 2023 • updated on february 3, 2023 at 9:14 am.

Beyoncé welcomed February with big news.

Queen Bey surprised her fans on Wednesday with an Instagram post announcing her world tour for 2023.

📺 Los Angeles news 24/7: Watch NBC4 free wherever you are

Beyoncé has not been on tour for a hot minute and fans are excited to see her perform.

The Renaissance Tour will take place in North America and Europe. Her first concert is set to take place at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10 and her last stop will be at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Get top local stories in Southern California delivered to you every morning . Sign up for NBC LA's News Headlines newsletter.

Queen Bey’s tour is in support of her seventh album, Renaissance, which has been nominated for album of the year. Her song “Break My Soul” has also been nominated for record of the year and song of the year. A full list of her nominations can be found on the Grammys website .

While fans are excited for Beyoncé’s tour, some have expressed their concerns on TikTok and hope that it will not be a “Deja Vu.” Many have concerns that it will be similar, if not a repeat, of Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour.”

Last year in November, many "swifties" were not able to purchase tickets during the presale on Ticketmaster because of the website crashing.

Ticketmaster ended up canceling public sale tweeting that because of “extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand” they could no longer sell any more tickets.

Due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow's public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been cancelled. — Ticketmaster (@Ticketmaster) November 17, 2022

Once again, Ticketmaster anticipates that there will be a high demand for Renaissance tickets.

This time Ticketmaster has laid out a new plan in hopes that it will be a much more successful and efficient process for everyone.

As usual, fans who want to purchase presale tickets will need to register for Verified Fan. This helps filter out any bots and potential resellers, giving fans a higher chance of purchasing tickets.

However, rather than releasing all the presale tickets at once they have come up with three different dates to purchase presale tickets.

There are three registration groups: A, B and C. Each group has a set of different states. To view in which group each state is, be sure to check on their website .

Fans are allowed to register on all three groups. They have a choice to register through three different registrations: BeyHive Verified Fan Registration, Citi Verified Fan Registration, or Verified Fan Onsale Registration.

All the registrations are currently open, but they do have their own deadline.

Group A is set to close on Friday, February 3 at 12 p.m. Eastern time.

Group B will close on Thursday, February 9 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

Lastly, Group C will close on Thursday, February 16 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

Keep in mind these registration dates can change at any time, so it’s best to check for any updates on their website .

When is Beyoncé Set to Perform in California?

According to her tour website she is set to perform three times in California:

  • August 30th at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, CA.
  • September 2nd at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
  • September 3rd at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.

She's also going to be performing in Las Vegas on August 26th at Allegiant Stadium.

Be sure to sign up for one of the Verified Fan sales in order to have access to presale tickets. For more information check out her tour website .

For many fans, seeing her perform is a sweet dream that they hope doesn’t break their soul when the presale opens.

Hot tips to help you get the most out of your Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour experience

KABC logo

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Beyhive, are you ready to see the queen?

Beyoncé will be performing at SoFi Stadium this Labor Day weekend and her "Renaissance" tour is truly one of one. The tour includes three shows in Inglewood on Sept. 1, 2 and 4. (Fun fact: Beyoncé turns 42 on September 4, so get ready to celebrate!)

Here's everything you need to know before Queen Bey makes her arrival.

Wear your silver!

Queen Bey has kindly asked her fans to rock their silver in celebration of Virgo season.

The aesthetic of the "Renaissance" tour, based on the footage fans have captured, is more "Alien Superstar" than "Cuff It": Think Afrofuturist cyborgs with impeccable style. But there are moments where Houston-meets-Studio 54, to be sure, including a life-size sparkling silver horse, similar to the steed Bey straddles on the cover of "Renaissance," on which Beyoncé sits suspended in mid-air. So yes, crystal-dripping cowboy hats are more than welcome.

Get there early!

For most shows, Beyoncé has been coming out almost as soon as it gets dark. Give yourself plenty of time to fight traffic if you're driving, get all of your content (videos and photos), and you can stop by the merchandise booth.

Wear comfortable shoes.

beyonce los angeles tour dates

Lots of people are wearing incredible cowboy boots and heels. If you think your feet can handle that, then be our guest, but comfortable sneakers are recommended. You're going to be on your feet dancing!

Prepare to see some familiar faces

It's very likely that some A-list celebrities will be attending one of Beyoncé's shows so keep an eye out! On Thursday, DJ Khaled announced he will be opening up for the megastar on Friday and Saturday.

"Thank you @beyonce @jayz for the invite! When the Queen calls ... I run!!" he said in an Instagram post.

beyonce los angeles tour dates

When Beyoncé sings "Energy" and says, "Look around, everybody on mute," remember to be quiet! It's not that long of a pause.

Arrive early!

beyonce los angeles tour dates

Get that merch!

beyonce los angeles tour dates

There will be several places around the arena to purchase merchandise. The tour dad hats and tote bags went quickly, but they still had some available at the end of the show.

If you have a clack fan, bring it!

beyonce los angeles tour dates

You'll want one when Beyoncé sings "Heated." If you decide to bring one, make sure to practice the fan movement to "Heated" in advance. The counts aren't the easiest to follow. There will be clack fans onsite for purchase as well.

Make new friends!

beyonce los angeles tour dates

If you feel up for it, make friends with the people in your row. It makes the experience even more fun when your entire section is dancing together.

Have fun ending your summer with Renaissance!

The announcement photo may look familiar to fans, as she donned the same glittery attire on the cover of her seventh studio album. Bey also added “Renaissance World Tour” on her Instagram bio, further accenting the news. Last week, Beyonce performed a full concert for the first time in four years at a luxury resort in Dubai in front of influencers and journalists. The 19-song set included a collaboration with her oldest daughter Blue Ivy as the two performed “Brown Skin Girl,” which earned them a Grammy two years ago for best music video.

Crowned a triumphant win by music lovers, Renaissance stormed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year and rattled off two Hot 100 top 10 hits, including her chart-topper “Break My Soul.” The dance-centric album also notched nine Grammy nominations, the most for any nominee for this year’s ceremony. Bey is looking to rack up more trophy wins, as she currently sits at a staggering 28 wins. Nominated for album of the year, song, and record of the year, Bey is facing some stout competition , especially in the former. The R&B juggernaut will tango against Adele, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, and more for album of the year. A win in this category would serve as Beyonce’s first. The 65th Grammy Awards will occur Sunday night in Los Angeles at 8 pm EST.

Beyoncé's 'Renaissance Tour' is bringing out Hollywood's hottest stars. Here’s who was at the LA concerts

Beyoncé brought her "Renaissance World Tour" to Los Angeles for three nights and plenty of celebrities flocked to SoFi Stadium to see the superstar live.

The “Crazy In Love” singer had concert-goers donning head-to-toe chrome ensembles per the performer’s request on her official website , which asked fans to wear their “most fabulous silver fashions” from Aug. 23 through Sept. 22 as her birthday wish and to mark Virgo season.

Among the array of celebrities in attendance was Pedro Pascal, who was spotted having a great time in Club Renaissance and caught on camera clapping along to the music by Sarah Paulson in an Instagram video.

For night two, Issa Rae, who was also in the audience the night before, returned with her crew and uploaded videos of her belting along to Beyoncé's biggest hits from the Club Renaissance section.

Night three on Sept. 4 brought out Diana Ross, who sang happy birthday to Beyoncé, and Tabitha Brown, who danced the night away in videos uploaded online.

The former lead singer for “The Supremes" lead the crowd of 60,000 in singing “Happy Birthday” to Beyoncé, a video posted to X shows.

“Thank you so much,” the “Renaissance” singer beamed. “You are amazing. This is the legendary Diana Ross.”

The crowd roared.

Leonardo DiCaprio

The "Titanic" star wore all black to the concert and a baseball cap, along with longtime friend Tobey Maguire.

Jeff Bezos was seen walking into the concert with Jenner and the Kardashian sisters in attendance. He wore all black and a silver chain.

Vanessa Bryant

Vanessa Bryant posted a video of her with model Winnie Harlow. They both wore silver, of course. Her daughter Natalie Bryant was also in some of the videos posted.

SZA took a picture with Brandy while they were at the concert.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens posted pictures from the concert, holding the "Heated" fan that was available for purchase.

Tessa Thompson

Tessa Thompson captured some of Diana Ross performing her own song, (couldn't make out the words so don't know which song) , in addition to her singing "Happy Birthday" to Beyoncé.

Yara Shahidi

Yara Shadhidi was there with her curls in a pineapple style.

"BEY-DAY was truly a  #Renaissance  of culture & pure joy," she said in her Instagram caption.

Halle Bailey

The "Little Mermaid" attended with DDG and they both wore black and silver.

"Queer Eye" host Karamo went with a group of friends.

"First, LA finally went on Mute! 😂 Secondly we had the best time last night! Words can’t express how much I love these humans! Happy Birthday Beyoncé!" he said in his Instagram post.

Uzo Aduba said on Instagram she's so glad she and her bun in the oven had the opportunity to see Beyonce live.

"Bey-bee’s first concert. It was incredible to step out with our Little One and my girl,  @idaravictor  to see the one and only 👑🐝🪩  @beyonce  What a spectacular show. Happy Birthday, Beyonce. "Abbott Elementary's" Quinta Brunson posted a video of her talking back to Beyoncé.

"I just want to say I'm feeling so full," Beyoncé said before starting a number.

"Yeah, we do too girl," the Emmy-winning writer says.

"My heart is full," Beyoncé continued.

"Yeah," Brunson agreed.

"My soul is full," Beyoncé closed in the video.

Tracee Ellis Ross

Ellis Ross followed Beyoncé’s wardrobe request to a T for night one of her LA stops, donning a silver sequin halter minidress. She modeled her outfit in a series of photos on Instagram , showing the dress in action as she danced in several of the frames. She simply captioned the post the hashtag “#renaissance.”

In another Instagram post, she showed off the process of getting ready, including hair and makeup, which resulted in a smokey silver look.

He also shared a story of the crowd signing “Love On Top,” writing on the story, “Queen (bee emoji) Night 1.”

For night one, the “Barbie” star rocked a metallic two-piece set, wearing a silver crop top and matching mini skirt along with a pair of coordinating heels. She modeled the look on her Instagram , shimmying for the camera to show off the metallic ensemble. In the caption, she wrote, “Yoncé Chrome” alongside the disco ball emoji.

Rae revealed she had plans to see the show twice, sharing her group’s coordinating silver outfits on her Instagram story and writing “Night 1 of 2," above it.

The "Insecure" star donned another two-piece silver outfit for her night two look. She posted a funny clip of a friend fanning herself as she quoted "Beyoncé's "Heated" to her Instagram story.

She showed off more of her sparkly ensemble in a few other posts as she posed next to her night two crew and sang the lyrics to "Virgo's Groove."

Although she looked happy backstage at the concert with her friends, she seemed disappointed that Beyoncé's mute challenge was not successful for the second LA performance. "Night 2 no. we still didn't," she captioned a clip of Beyoncé singing "Energy."

Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer made the Renaissance Tour a family affair! In an Instagram post, Keke reflected on her night at the concert, writing, “I had so much fun with my family at Beyoncé’s concert. She’s truly an icon and the performer of a millennium!! We left inspired and elated.”

The “Nope” star showed off her ensemble in another post , posing in her black leather strapless minidress paired with a bedazzled denim jacket. She followed Beyoncé’s dress code by donning a silver choker, silver nails and silver streaks in her hair, describing herself as a “Renaissance Woman” in the caption.

Kris Jenner

Though Kris Jenner didn’t share any posts of her own from the Renaissance Tour, she was spotted in the back of a video shared on Offset’s Instagram story. In the clip, Offset, Jenner and several other concert goers were following the moves to the “Electric Slide.”

Though Alba's videos had no sound, she captured multiple moments of Beyoncé’s performance and her stunning ensembles, including her shimmering silver bodysuit paired with a floor length pink fur coat.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez enjoyed night two of the LA Renaissance Tour with her 10-year-old sister, Gracie, and friends Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz.

Sterling K. Brown and wife and actor Ryan Michelle Bathé were fashionably late to the show, but they made it just in time to see Queen Bey take the stage.

The "This Is Us" star shared a selfie on Instagram of the couple after they made their way to their seats. Bathé wore a sparkly silver camisole and matching hoops in the snap.

"Did we miss the opening act…? Yes! But did we make it? Hell yeah?! Is we outchea?! You best believe it! Is we 'bout to get turnt?! #NoDoubt AboutIt!!!" he captioned the photo. He also added the hashtag "#BeyTime."

Beyoncé Comes To LA: A Definitive Guide To Navigating Her Concert At SoFi Stadium

Beyoncé performs on stage in a silver outfit on a silver prop horse during the "Renaissance" tour. She is surrounded by dancers and part of the crowd is visible.

Getting there

Food and drink.

I t’s Virgo season and the Queen has spoken.

Beyoncé had clear instructions for fans headed to Inglewood’s SoFi stadium this weekend. The Grammy winner wants to see the Beyhive decked out in their “most fabulous silver fashions” in celebration of her Sept. 4 birthday.

"We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night," she wrote in an Instagram story. "Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together in the House of Chrome."

And while you decide whether to bedazzle like Reneigh — what fans call the mirrorball horse from the Renaissance album cover that Beyoncé brought to life during the tour — or don a tinsel hat complete with a floor-length cape like Bey did during a Las Vegas show, we have you covered on other concert essentials.

Citing a lack of resources and this event’s stage configuration, L.A. Metro said in a statement they will not offer the same shuttle service they did when Taylor Swift took over SoFi for twice as many dates.

“We’re using the knowledge we gained from the Taylor Swift pilot service to develop a plan to help us secure the resources we need to serve more major events at SoFi Stadium and other local venues while ensuring we can run our everyday service,” Metro said.

The agency added that the resources they need to offer the special shuttle service include access to a parking lot to stage buses, extra security and traffic control, as well as additional people power.

“The availability of these resources is determined by crowd size — and because of a different stage setup, SoFi stadium will not accommodate as many fans as it did for the Swift shows,” Metro said.

Instead, they're directing riders to Rally , where they can find rideshare options from Metro stations to the stadium once they've taken the Metro to the Hawthorne/Lennox Station off the C Line or the Downtown Inglewood station on the K Line.

Also, keep in mind that Beyoncé usually comes on at 8 p.m., so give yourself plenty of time to navigate public transit, especially if it's your first time. Take advantage of Metro’s Trip Planner — given the run times, you might have to leave the concert early.

If you choose to drive to the stadium, buy a parking pass for stadium parking beforehand. Attendants will turn you away to offsite lots if you don’t have one.

Swifties recommended the ParkWhiz app on TikTok: It lists all the lots in the area including those onsite, how much they cost, whether they are manned and how far they are from the stadium.

If you’re getting dropped off, Kareem Court has been designated for pick-ups and drop-offs.

Also, take note: SoFi has a strict bag policy. Either carry an up to 4-by 6-inch clutch, or bring a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag that should not be bigger than 12-by-6-by-12 inches. The stadium also encourages fans to have tickets saved on their mobile wallet app ahead of time.

Outside food and drink — except a factory-sealed, 20 ounces-or-less bottle of water — is not allowed inside SoFi. Bring credit or debit cards as vendors in the stadium do not accept cash.

Another pro tip? In-n-Out, Chipotle and Wendy’s are all a short walk from the stadium’s parking lot. Once you’ve secured a coveted spot, close to the stadium and the exit, walk to one of the restaurants in the area and fuel up before the concert.

When Beyoncé sings “Everybody on mute” during “Energy,” make sure you stay silent. That means no singing along, no clapping, no cheering, not a hum. Imagine around 70,000 people staying silent at a concert.

With no videos for the Renaissance album, the concert is set to be a visual treat for fans, so be prepared for around three hours of elaborate, futuristic set designs complete with Reneigh the horse, a set of mechanical arms and a giant disco ball.

On the tour, Mrs. Knowles-Carter has also paid homage to the LGBTQIA+ community with a ballroom scene featuring Honey Balenciaga and Carlos Basquiat. Will they make an appearance in Los Angeles? We just have to wait and watch.

Another surprise guest? Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter, was a backup dancer at some shows. Is the 11-year-old back to school, or is she on an extended summer break? Keep an eye out for her, especially during “My Power.”

Please don’t be alarmed and try to remain calm — nearly six years since her last solo trek, Beyoncé is back and (hopefully) heading to a city near you before wrapping her tour this fall. The superstar announced her massive Renaissance world tour back in February, marking Beyoncé’s first global solo tour in support of her seventh album of the same name. With the tour winding down, there’s only a few weeks left to score Beyoncé tickets . Get Beyoncé Tickets on Vivid Seats

With the final month of the Renaissance tour approaching, Beyoncé shared a statement on Instagram that “Virgo Season is upon us.” She continued: “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22! We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo Season together in the house of chrome. See you there! Your B at RWT.”

Ticket registration and sales for Beyoncé’s tour were previously split into three different groups, and now Beyoncé tickets are on sale for all remaining dates, including on Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats .

Renaissance World Tour 2023 North America Dates

Wondering if Beyoncé is playing a show in your area? Below are the remaining cities the Grammy winner will visit for the 2023 North American leg of the Renaissance tour . Beyoncé previously also added an additional three shows to the tour, including Atlanta (8/14/23), Las Vegas, (8/27/23), and Inglewood, CA (9/4/23).

Not surprisingly, Ticketmaster said it saw a massive demand for the Renaissance tour in a blog on its website. “Fan demand already exceeds the number of tickets available by more than 800% based on the registration numbers in the Group A cities. It is expected that many interested fans may not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply.”

While we won’t give too much away about the Renaissance tour set list (though you’ve likely seen much of it on TikTok), you can hear more about the show in Rolling Stone Music Now ‘s podcast episode . It’s a deep-dive into what fans can expect during the concert. In short, you can likely plan to hear everything from deep cuts like opener “Dangerously in Love,” along with Renaissance tracks like “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” and closer “Summer Renaissance.” Plus: “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “1+1,” and more.

When Are Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Tickets On Sale?

According to Ticketmaster at the time, “Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale. Additionally, there will be a Verizon Up Presale. Registration windows vary by city, so check the schedule below and be sure to note when the window closes for the show you’re interested in attending.”

In other words, if you tried to register for Verified Fan presale, you needed to see which group your city was a part of ahead of time. Group A registration was open until Feb. 2, with Group B registration previously scheduled until Feb. 9, and Group C until Feb. 16.

European dates started in May, and Beyoncé embarked on the North American leg of the Renaissance tour over the summer, including stops in Toronto (read our Renaissance tour review ), Los Angeles, Houston, and New Orleans. Though Beyoncé headlined a show in Dubai — her first concert in four years at the time — she didn’t play any songs from Renaissance , Rolling Stone ‘s No. 1 album of 2022 (“the musical highlight of the year”) and a frontrunner at the 65th Grammys .

When Beyoncé dropped Renaissance last summer, Rolling Stone ‘s Mankaprr Conteh wrote that “Beyoncé flung open the doors to a nightclub of her own making, a place where anyone can be the hottest person in the galaxy … the album traverses eras of dance music to conjure the superhuman confidence and deeply human connection of a night out. The thematic triumph of the auteur’s seventh album is this union of the extraordinary and the earthly across it, a duality that lives on the dancefloors Renaissance was inspired by — and in all of us.”

How to Get Beyoncé Tickets With BeyHive Verified Fan Registration

BeyHive Verified Fan Presale started Feb. 6 for those who registered in Group A, followed by Groups B and C.

The first round of the BeyHive presale arrived just one day after Beyoncé made Grammys history on Feb. 5. With 32 wins under her belt, Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy Awards in music history, winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance .

“I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching,” Queen Bey said during her acceptance speech. “I’d like to thank the queer community, for your love, and for inventing this genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys.”

While Renaissance didn’t win a trophy for Album of the Year , Beyoncé still took home a slew of other awards, including Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” Best Dance/Electronic Record for “Break My Soul,” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa.”

“You changed my life,” Lizzo told Beyoncé during her Grammys acceptance speech for her Record of the Year win. “You sang that gospel medley, and the way you made me feel, I was like, ‘I want to make people feel this way with my music.’ So thank you so much. You clearly are the artist of our lives.”
