Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn will be taking his new show British Comedian on a tour of the UK between October 2023 and February 2024 .

His promoters say: "After blowing away the UK and judges alike, Viggo is asking audiences to don their hi-vis vests one more time as he heads across the country.

"Kicking off in Milton Keynes at The Stables on 23rd October he will then head to St Albans, Glasgow, Salford, Guildford, London, Sheffield, Norwich, Brighton, Bournemouth, Southend, Exeter, Cardiff, Colchester, Nottingham, Swindon, Newcastle, Winchester, Leeds before concluding the tour in Taunton on 21st February 2024 .

"From balloons to clowning, Viggo has captured the nation's hearts with his joyful and spirited performances and his upcoming show promises to delight and inspire audiences night after night."

The blurb for the show explains: "Norwegian clown Viggo Venn moved to this country with one dream: to be a British comedian. The rest, you already know about. After blowing away the competition in an explosion of hi-vis jackets, balloons, and joyous idiocy, Viggo became the most talked-about new entertainer in the country by winning Britain's Got Talent in June 2023 . Britain’s Got Talent winner Viggo Venn will embark on his debut UK tour with his brand-new show   British Comedian.  

After blowing away viewers and judges alike,   Viggo   is asking audiences to don their hi-vis vests   one more time   as he heads across the country.

Viggo Venn   is a Norwegian clown and comedian who won the sixteenth series of the ITV talent show Britain's Got Talent this year. In 2022, Venn won the New Act of The Year Show in London and was runner-up in the Leicester Square Theatre's 'New Comedian of the Year'. His solo show Pepito was nominated for Best Comedy at Fringe World in Perth and Brighton Fringe in the UK in 2017.

He trained at French clown school École Philippe Gaulier and for four years he toured in a double act 'Zach and Viggo' with Zach Zucker (of Stamptown). The duo won the Best Comedy Award at the 2016 Brighton Fringe.But all he wanted was to be… a British comedian. And here we are.

Britain’s Got Talent winner Viggo Venn announces UK tour

Prepare to party One More Time.

The Norwegian comedian won the hearts of the nation with his energetic displays of physical comedy, eventually triumphing in the grand final at the Hammersmith Apollo earlier this month.

Fans will now be able to party to Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time’ in their hi-vis vests across the country, with the tour kicking off in Milton Keynes on October 23.

Viggo will pass through major cities such as Glasgow, London, Nottingham and Newcastle before concluding in Taunton on February 21 , 2024.

“I have been receiving thousands of videos on Instagram from young and old dancing around in hi-vis vests and nothing makes me happier,” said Viggo of the announcement.

“So excited to bring a show full of fun, quirkiness and surprises for everyone! Can’t wait to meet people and go on a highly visible UK tour! (I will bring Viggo-vests with me, if you forget yours!)” he added.

Viggo Venn has dropped some huge career news, announcing a nationwide tour for layer this year and into 2024, less than two weeks after clinching a rather controversial win on Britain's Got Talent.

Earlier this month, madcap entertainer Viggo, having gained momentum with the bookies as the new series went on, defeated some other hotly tipped acts, including red hot favourite Musa Mutha , to take the title, much to the shock of many people in the studio audience and viewers at home.

Many BGT fans hit out at the result , branding it a 'joke,' while others described Viggo as a 'real breath of air' and argued that he saved an otherwise boring grand final.

Well now, those who loved watching Viggo on Britain's Got Talent , will have a chance to see him in the flesh, as the new champion is hitting the road with his own live show, British Comedian. The tour will kick off in Milton Keynes in October, with the dates including gigs in London, Sheffield, Brighton and at Newcastle's Tyne Theatre on February 2, 2024. Tickets are on sale now from Seetickets.

Britain's Got Talent champion Viggo Venn was invited to the BBC Breakfast studio on Monday morning, for possibly the first and final time.

Earlier this month, the Norwegian comedian booked himself a slot in the next Royal Variety Performance — the first for King Charles III — as well as winning that eye-watering £250,000 cash prize.

Fast forward to now, and Viggo continues to share his high-vis freakiness around the UK.

Jon Kay and Sally Nugent were the latest presenters to be rendered flabbergasted by the comic's energy, as he jubilantly danced onto the BBC set to the tune of One More Time by Daft Punk. Nugent shrieked with surprise after the comic leapt out from behind their sofa.

"How many layers do you have?" asked Jon after Viggo whipped out his trademark vest from beneath a red tuxedo.

"My performance is very multilayered thank you," he smiled, before the presenter congratulated him on the "wonderful success" that was his BGT journey.

"Have you got your head round it? Because you looked really shocked when you won..."

"Yeah I was shocked, I was completely shocked," replied Viggo, abruptly turning his attention towards Jon's mug.

"Is it real coffee in there?" he said.

Wary of another crazy outburst, Jon confirmed it was indeed real coffee, but covered in confetti.

"You want more?" laughed Viggo, having reached into his pocket for more golden sprinkles.

Next minute the BGT star shot up from his seat to tear off his black trousers and reveal a matching pair of yellow pants, causing Sally to shriek.

Viggo proceeded to swing them in the air as the music kicked in once again, before plonking himself in the middle of the programme's exhausted hosts.

The Norwegian comic won the 2023 series of the ITV competition, scooping the £250,000 prize and a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance.

He wowed judges Simon Cowell , Alesha Dixon , Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli with his brand of comedy and was crowned the winner after receiving 22.5 per cent of the final votes , significantly more than the 10 rival acts.

But 116 people still complained to Ofcom about the final, and a spokesperson for the broadcasting watchdog confirmed to Yahoo that those complaints related to Venn’s win.
