In April, Luis Miguel surprised fans with the announcement of his 2023 tour , which will make stops in North and South America this summer and fall.

The 43-date stint, produced by Cárdenas Marketing Network (CMN Events) and Fenix Entertainment, kicks off Aug. 3 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and will visit major cities in the U.S. such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami and Los Angeles before wrapping up Dec. 17 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Luis Miguel Announces 2023 Tour: Here Are the North & South America Dates

This marks El Sol de Mexico ’s (The Mexican Sun) first trek in years, following his México Por Siempre tour that ran from 2018 to 2019, grossing $101.4 million and selling 965,000 tickets across 116 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. The México Por Siempre tour, which supported his Latin Grammy-winning album of the same name, was the highest-grossing Latin tour in Boxscore history until last year, when Bad Bunny ‘s El Último Tour del Mundo and World’s Hottest Tour surpassed it.

While fans count down the days to see Luismi — one of Latin music’s biggest stars and one of the top vocalists of his generation — in concert, the Billboard Latin team curated a dream tour setlist featuring 16 of his biggest Billboard hits. Each of the songs on the list hit No. 1 on the coveted Hot Latin Songs chart, dating back to 1987, a year after the chart launched.

The list includes his first No. 1 hit on the chart, “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar” (1987); plus “La Incondicional,” which spent seven weeks at No. 1 in 1989; and “Tengo Todo Excepto a Ti,” which spent eight weeks at No. 1 in 1990, to name a few.

"Ahora Te Puedes Marchar"

Luis Miguel’s first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart arrived one year after the chart launched. With feel-good pop beats, this track is dedicated to those people who never learned how to love in a relationship.

"La Incondicional"

A heartfelt track about his one-and-only special lady and the unconditional love he feels for her, “La Incondicional” debuted at No. 32 in April 1989 and peaked at No. 1 a month later on the chart dated May 27, where it spent seven weeks at the top.

"Fria Como El Viento"

On the Hot Latin Songs chart dated Oct. 21, 1989, “Fria Como El Viento” (Cold Like the Wind) is a song for those women who are free, indomitable, and overall protecting their hearts. The track spent three weeks at the top.

"Tengo Todo Excepto a Ti"

With his powerhouse vocals, Luismi gave life to “Tengo Todo Excepto a Ti” (I have everything but you)—a song charged with meaningful lyrics from a hopeless romantic’s perspective. The song hit No. 1 on the chart dated July 21, 1990, and spent eight weeks at the top.

"Entrégate"

“How dare you look at me like that/To be so beautiful and smile? Mine, today you’ll finally be mine,” Luis Miguel chants in a romantic ballad about landing his dream girl. The song spent one week at No. 1 in November 1990.

"Inolvidable"

Spending five weeks at No. 1 after hitting the top on the Hot Latin Songs chart dated Jan. 25, 1992, Luis Miguel belts powerful lyrics about an unforgettable love in “Inolvidable.”

In true Luismi fashion, the balladeer unleashed “No Sé Tú” (I don’t know about you), a song where he’s still in love with that special someone and asks her if she feels the same way. The timeless track hit No. 1 on the chart dated April 18, 1992, where it stayed seven weeks.

Unable to process that a relationship is over and that everything is left in the past, Luis Miguel’s “Ayer” (Yesterday) peaked at No. 1 on the July 17, 1993-dated Hot Latin Songs chart, where it spent three weeks.

"Hasta Que Me Olvides"

With potent love verses such as “Until you forget me/I’m going to love you so much/Like fire in your arms/Until you forget me,” “Hasta Que Me Olvides” peaked at No. 1 on the Oct. 23, 1993, chart and spent three weeks at the top.

"El Día Que Me Quieras"

A metaphorical song using jealous stars, curious fireflies, and a mysterious lightning bolt to describe a love so pure, “El Día Que Me Quieras” spent five weeks at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs, starting with the chart dated Sept. 17, 1994.

"La Media Vuelta"

Luis Miguel sings about letting go of a relationship but still feeling in control in “La Media Vuelta.” “If you find a love that understands you/And you feel that he loves you more than anyone/I’ll turn around/And I’ll go with the sun when the afternoon dies,” he sings. The song topped the chart for three weeks in 1994.

"Si Nos Dejan"

“Si Nos Dejan,” a song about conquering the world with that special someone if the timing is perfect, peaked at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart dated Sept. 30, 1995, where it spent seven weeks. “If they let us, we’ll love each other for the rest of our lives/If they let us, we’ll live in a new world,” the artist chants.

"Por Debajo de la Mesa"

In another heartfelt ballad, which spent four weeks at No. 1 in 1997, Luis Miguel pours his heart out: “And you don’t know what you make me feel/That there is no moment that I can be without you/You absorb my space, slowly you make me yours/My pride dies/And I can’t be without you.”

"O Tú o Ninguna"

Topping the Hot Latin Songs chart for one week on Nov. 6, 1999, “O Tú o Ninguna” finds Luis Miguel reminiscing on that special lady and letting her know that there’s no one who can compare to her. “It’s you or no one,” he assures.

"Comó Duele"

Chanting about heartbreak, Luis Miguel sings: “How it hurts/That I didn’t teach you the moon/That you flew to a star from another hand/And if I have been wrong/By my God, it’s settled/Since the day I had you and loved you.” “Comó Duele” spent one week at No. 1 in 2002.

"Te Necesito"

The last time Luis Miguel topped the Hot Latin Songs chart was 20 years ago with “Te Necesito” (I Need You) on the chart dated Oct. 25, 2003. The uptempo, jazz-funk fusion is the perfect ode to dedicate to that special someone.

Luis Miguel arrancó su nueva gira, Tour 2023, en Argentina , y le falta aún muchos países y ciudades por visitar —llegará a México el 14 de noviembre para comenzar su gira en Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, León, Michoacán, Oaxaca, Puebla, Queretáro, San Luis Potosí y Veracruz . En la Ciudad de México será hasta el 21, 22 y 24 de noviembre que se presentará el cantante—. Mientras cada vez más fanáticos cumplen el sueño de ver al ‘sol de México’ de nuevo en los escenarios, muchos están calentando motores escuchando temas de la set list oficial. Por eso aquí te decimos qué canciones estará interpretando Luis Miguel y así poder imaginarte los escenarios que montará para estas piezas.

Luis Miguel añade nuevas fechas al tour para 2024

Durante una entrevista en Argentina, su mánager Marcelo Figoli confirmó que Micky se encuentra componiendo nuevos temas y estará produciendo nueva música para el próximo año. Además de eso, añadió nuevas fechas para 2024. En caso de ser así, significaría el regreso de Luis Miguel al estudio de grabación tras seis años del lanzamiento de su último disco — ¡México por siempre! en 2017.

Sobre una posible continuación del tour hacia 2024, el mánager del intérprete de ‘Por debajo de la mesa’ afirmó: “Dentro de muy poco tiempo vamos a anunciar todo lo que es el tour del 2024 que será muy, muy grande”. También aseguró que el cantante se encuentra en un gran momento, con una excelente condición física para afrontar todos los shows que tendrá en países como Argentina , Chile , México , Estados Unidos y Canadá .

Luis Miguel añadió 50 nuevas fechas para su tour en 2024, las cuales abarcan más ciudades en Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos.

Luis Miguel’s 2023 Tour Set List

The Mexican superstar kicked off his latest world tour in Buenos Aires in August by leading the audience through 50 songs from across his storied career. The show was divided into five movements—boleros, tangos, ballads, duets and pop hits—and included a fabulous mariachi interlude as well as glitzy duets with Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra (their voices, at least).
