Make sure you check the PGA tournament field and other PTFG Resources before submitting your lineup. Golfers listed in the lineup drop-down boxes are not necessarily playing in upcoming tournament as our site simply lists all golfers. Golfers can withdraw at the last minute, so it's never a bad idea to check the player news, Vegas Odds Checker, and other resources also available on the Lineup page.

Within our website, there is a link to an Odds Checker website ranking the golfers most likely to win the tournament. This page should be used over any other as it is the most up-to-date. Any time a golfer drops out or gets added to the field prior to the tournament starting, the Odds Checker site is almost immediately updated. However, the PGA Tour and other sites can be slow to make such updates. The link to the Odds Checker site can be found on 3 different pages within the website: • Lineup • Results • Resources Once tournament play begins, be sure to check out the link to the Live Predictive Model website which can be accessed from the Results and Resources pages.

When picking a golfer with the same last name (e.g. Johnson), make sure you pick the correct one. For example, Dustin Johnson vs. Zach Johnson. Any golfer with the last name Kim is another common mix-up. When selecting a golfer in the drop-down, it's easy to accidentally select the first golfer with the same last name instead of the golfer you intended. After submitting your lineup, be sure to take 10 seconds to confirm your lineup selections via the confirmation email or weekly Results page.

Our website is very easy to use and makes playing our game a cinch. The website will keep track of all golfer usages for each team. Most people probably know this, but on the Lineup drop-downs, if you type the first letter of a golfer's last name, it will take you right there. Type the letter again to advance to the next golfer. Tables on every page can be sorted if you click on the column heading. On the weekly Results page, if you mouse-over a team name, you will see the owner's name. Or for completed tournaments, mouse-over a golfer's name to see what place he finished in. On the Clubhouse page, if you mouse-over an owner name, you will see their team name(s).

The PGA Tour website has some great apps for your iPad, iPhone, Android and other wireless devices to help keep up with all the action on tour. You can also sign-up for text message alerts delivered straight to your phone. This includes alerts for end of the round leaderboard updates, TV coverage times, and more.

2024 Wyndham Championship: One-and-Done Picks & Predictions

156 golfers are set to tee off from the PGA Tour’s final regular season event in 2024 at the Wyndham Championship. Located at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, this Donald Ross design is a par 70 course that demands accuracy and precision from tee-to-green.

Putting is an added bonus, while Bermudagrass fairways, greens, and rough all challenge with narrow size. There are a few water hazards, however, weather could be in play for most of the event, softening greens and letting golfers hunt flagsticks on approach. Only the top 70 golfers in the FedExCup rankings qualify for the first FedExCup playoff event at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee next week, so expect a course that has ceded 20-under-par or lower to seven of the past eight winners to produce plenty of red scorecards throughout each of the four rounds played.

Sungjae Im Sungjae Im is the betting favorite at 12-1 in the outright winner market, which is due to previous finishes of T14 and T2 at this event. Im ranks sixth in this field for total strokes gained, including tee-to-green, showing minimal flaws in his game right now. He’s undoubtedly a big gun in one-and-done leagues this week.

Shane Lowry Shane Lowry leads the field in strokes gained: approach (+0.89), second in SG: tee-to-green, and third in total strokes gained. Yes, Lowry’s short game is a bit of a burden at times, but if he’s dialed in with his irons and gets off to another quick start, we could see the Irishman return significant value in survivor formats at Sedgefield this week.

Secondary Options

Billy Horschel After contending for the outright win at Royal Troon during the British Open, Billy Horschel should carry plenty of momentum into an event he’s fared well at in previous years, recording a solo fourth and solo second-place finishes in 2023 and 2020. Horschel leads the field in total strokes gained (+1.39) and has fantastic putting ability to sink birdies if his approach shots regress a bit. Don’t hesitate to plug Horschel into your one-and-done league at Sedgefield.

Cam Davis Aussie Cam Davis is a bit more volatile than these other golfers but he’s still ranked top-30 SG: tee-to-green this week. Davis has turned in finishes of T7 and T15 in both appearances at the Wyndham Championship since 2020, plus he’s fresh off of his second outright win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Davis also had a chance to contend at the 3M Open before falling apart on the back-nine, so he’s primed to get you points in survivor leagues with a strong finish this week.

Sneaky Plays

Brendon Todd Brendon Todd’s short game is the best skillset he holds coming into this event. Todd ranks inside the top-30 SG: putting and top-12 SG: around-the-green. Off-the-tee and on approach are a completely different story, which is why he’s a sneaky play for me, but don’t neglect Todd as an option if you’ve burned through other top golfers in this field.

Eric Cole Bettors like Eric Cole to contend for an outright win this week, which would be his first on the PGA Tour. Cole logged a T14 finish at Sedgefield in 2023 and also possesses talent around the greens and with his putter. Off-the-tee is the biggest concern for Cole, who may wind up in rough more often than on the ribbon-thin fairways, but he can recover well with his short game.

Favorite One-And-Done: Shane Lowry

While oddsmakers are giving us Sungjae Im as the betting favorite at the Wyndham Championship, I’m all in on Shane Lowry this week. He’s atop the field in all of the critical metrics, excluding putting and scrambling, but he doesn’t need the latter since he finds so many greens in regulation. If you’ve been sitting on Lowry to deploy him at an event, I strongly suggest using him at Sedgefield since he may wind up with an outright win this week.

Jhonattan Vegas won the 3M Open held off Max Greyserman to win the 3M Open. That's a sentence I didn't think I would type this season. Vegas won for the first time since 2017 and the first time in the United States since 2011. The $1.458M check is the largest of his career. I don't have much else to say about this tournament.

Raymond Cox of 3PuttPro is happy the 3M is on the schedule, as he took home the Skin and the $25 prize. Nobody started Vegas, and Raymond was the only person to start Greyserman, so he rose to the top. Seven people used a mulligan on Vegas, which boosted them into positions 2-8 for the week, but they couldn't catch Mr. Cox. Great job!

With three weeks left, my Orange Balls team still leads the overall standings. Bill Mason of Bushwood Country Club and Mike Banitt of Ace One are both less than $1.6M back, and eight others are inside $10M off the lead. There is a ton of cash left in the remaining tournaments, so nobody should feel comfortable yet... especially me.

• There is a staggered start to the TOUR Championship utilizing a concept called Starting Strokes where the FedExCup leaders will begin the event with a head-start on the competition. The player who finishes the four rounds at Atlanta’s East Lake Golf Club with the lowest score in relation to par will win the tournament. The staggered start is explained here .
• There are only 30 golfers in the field, so leagues, depending on format and number of tournaments, may have limited golfers to choose from. With it being the 34th tournament of the year, there should not be too many concerns about having a golfer(s) to choose from, they just may not be the top golfers starting at -10, -8, -7, -6, or -5 under par.

• Users now have the option to only receive the Wednesday morning set lineup reminder email if they have not entered a lineup. This also applies to the Friday sub reminder. If a lineup or sub has been entered, then you will not receive an email reminder.

2024 Wyndham Championship odds, picks, field: Surprising predictions by golf model that's nailed 13 majors

Jordan Spieth, a 13-time winner on the PGA Tour, enters this week's event ranked No. 63 in the FedEx Cup standings, and he'll need a strong showing at Sedgefield Country Club if he wants to cement his place in the postseason. Spieth is a 33-1 longshot to finish on top of the leaderboard according to the latest 2024 Wyndham Championship odds. Sungjae Im is the 16-1 favorite, followed by Billy Horschel (25-1), Shane Lowry (25-1) and Si Woo Kim (25-1). Top 2024 Wyndham Championship predictions 

One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2024 Wyndham Championship: Horschel (25-1), an eight-time winner on the PGA Tour and one of the top favorites, stumbles this week and barely cracks the top 10. Horschel is coming off an impressive T-2 finish at the Open Championship, his best-ever showing in a major championship. 

However, Horschel had been struggling mightily prior to that outing, finishing T-41 or worse in three consecutive starts, which included a missed cut at the Genesis Scottish Open. Horschel's iron play has been wildly inconsistent all season and he enters the Wyndham Championship ranked 102nd in greens in regulation percentage (65.65%) and 120th in strokes gained: approach to green (-0.113), which doesn't bode well for his chances to finish on top of the leaderboard this week. Another surprise: Davis Thompson, a 35-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title. He has a much better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday.

Thompson has been playing some exceptional golf in recent weeks. He secured his first PGA Tour victory at the John Deere Classic and finished T-2 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic following his T-9 showing at the U.S. Open in June. Thompson has been able to secure those impressive results thanks to his all-around game. The 25-year-old enters this week's event ranked inside the top 25 in several important statistical categories, including scoring average (69.41), birdie average (4.19), strokes gained: total (1.193) and putting average (1.728).
