Application Process

If this is the first time you are applying, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

You will receive an automatic email verification confirming that your application has been received. It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Applications may be rejected if incomplete.

Selection Process

The selection process ensures a thorough review of all applications to determine those who meet the qualifications for the positions. Applications selected for the next step in the recruitment process will be contacted by email or phone. An eligible candidate not selected may remain on the eligible list and may be considered should a future vacancy occur.

In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), applicants with a disability who require special testing arrangements should contact Human Resources Department at (480) 988-7600.

Pre-employment testing includes a background investigation. The selected applicant must submit a completed background questionnaire after receiving a contingent offer. The background investigation includes criminal record verification, motor vehicle record check, social security number trace and verification of information you provided on your application.

Additionally, fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Checks (CHRC) are conducted on individuals who would have unescorted access to a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA). PMGAA complies with all rules and regulations outlined in the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Regulation 49 CFR Part 1542.

Falsifying or giving incomplete information during any stage of the selection/hiring process will result in candidate disqualification for new or continued Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority (PMGAA) employment.
