Norberto ha confirmado que la banda llegaría a Brasil para el mes de Mayo del 2023 del siguiente año, fecha que por supuesto traería consigo una visita a otros países de la región entre los que podemos contar a Argentina, Chile, Perú, Colombia y Paraguay.  Recordemos que la banda visitó por única vez Sudamérica durante el año 2008.

Max McGreevy wins Magnit Championship; Korn Ferry Tour Finals starting field finalized

Max McGreevy is racing back to the PGA TOUR, and he’s doing so in style.

McGreevy earned his second Korn Ferry Tour title of the season Sunday at the Magnit Championship, posting a final-round, 3-under 69 at Metedeconk National Golf Club in New Jersey for a three-shot win over a quartet of players – Tim Widing, Frankie Capan III, Will Chandler and Ricky Castillo. McGreevy carded four rounds in the 60s for an 18-under 270 total, including a bogey-free Sunday which he began in the co-lead with Chandler and steadily pulled away.

McGreevy, 29, adds the Magnit title to his victory at the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS earlier this summer. The University of Oklahoma alum had safely clinched his 2025 PGA TOUR card before arriving in New Jersey, and he entered the week at No. 4 on the Korn Ferry Tour’s season-long standings, eyeing a push for the season-ending No. 1 spot that offers fully exempt TOUR status with spots in the U.S. Open and THE PLAYERS Championship. His season was already a success, bringing validation that he was working on the right things and belonged at the game’s highest level. Now it’s turning into something special.

With his Magnit Championship victory, McGreevy moves to No. 2 on the season-long standings behind Matt McCarty, also a two-time Korn Ferry Tour winner this summer, into the four-event Korn Ferry Tour Finals.

“It's even more motivating to be one back on that (Points List),” McGreevy said in his winner’s interview Sunday. “Going to push me forward next week and into the (Finals). (Finals) are just fun. It's elevated, there's just more for grabs. Excited for these next four events, four tournaments that are coming up.

“Going to give it everything I've got to take that No. 1 spot.”

The top 156 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List after the Magnit Championship have qualified for the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron, the first leg of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. The top 144 after the Albertsons Boise Open will qualify for the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, and the top 120 after the Simmons Bank Open will qualify for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. The top 75 after the Nationwide Children’s will qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance, after which the top 30 will earn 2025 PGA TOUR cards.

McGreevy knows he is headed back to the PGA TOUR, on which he spent two seasons before losing his card via a No. 177 finish on the 2023 FedExCup Fall standings. He’s hungry to reunite with good friends, including his former housemate Scottie Scheffler, on TOUR next season, and he’s confident that this season on the Korn Ferry Tour will serve him well in the long run.

And he’ll have a pair of trophies (at minimum) to show for it.

“This has been almost eight years of doing this,” McGreevy said. “As much as losing your card or going and playing different tours and traveling to different states, I mean, the grind is what makes it amazing. Being rewarded like this at the end of the grind is what makes it all the sweeter.

“I think that's what makes it so sweet of going back to the PGA TOUR knowing that I can put those weeks together again … Today just kind of capped off just kind of my belief in what I've been working on, what I think I need to get better at and what I'm going to continue to try to improve on.”

Mason Williams and Blaine Hale, Jr. moved inside the top 156 at the Magnit, knocking Dawie van der Walt and Connor Howe outside the all-important cutoff for the first Korn Ferry Tour Finals leg.

Williams began the week at No. 160 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List on the strength of a tie for ninth at the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in April, into which he Monday qualified. The Georgia Southern alum does not hold Korn Ferry Tour status this season, but the 156-player Magnit Championship field was based on the Points List into the week (rather than the Priority Ranking), and that T9 in Savannah proved enough. He took advantage at the Magnit with a tie for 13th, punctuated by a final-round 67, to play on to Boise.

Hale holds PGA TOUR status this season but did not qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs and elected to compete at the Magnit as a potential path back to the PGA TOUR for next season, if he does not finish in the top 150 after the FedExCup Fall. Hale finished T30 at the Magnit to move from No. 163 to No. 149 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List and punch his ticket to Boise.

• Preferred lies were in effect for the final round of the Magnit Championship.
• Max McGreevy is the fifth multiple-time winner on Tour this season.
• Chandler climbs from No. 134 up to No. 76 on the 2024 points list.
• Second-year member Frankie Capan III (T2/-15) notches his second runner-up finish of the season and fifth top 10; Capan had three top-10 finishes in 22 starts last season.
• The former Florida Gator moves into the top 30 on the season-long points list up to No. 24.
• Mitchell Meissner (T6/-14), who made his first cut at the Manit Championship this week in his second career start, posts a bogey-free 4-under 68 – with birdies on his final two holes – to log his eighth top-25 and second top-10 in his 19th start of the season; Meissner recorded only four top-25 finishes in 25 starts last year.
• Bauchou finished No. 82 on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List to earn conditional status to start the 2024 season.
• McCarty matches McGreevy for the most top 10s on Tour this season.
• Hitt finished the season No. 4 in the 2023 Totalplay Cup standings on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica (now PGA TOUR Americas) to earn Korn Ferry Tour membership for the first time.
• Korn Ferry Tour winner Roberto Díaz (T9/-13) records his best result of the 2024 season and first top 10 since the 2023 Panama Championship (T8).

Call them pop-punk, post-hardcore, or alternative rock, but lead singer and founder Gerard Way would rather you never call them “emo.”

My Chemical Romance is arguably one of the most influential bands of the early 2000s, garnering a gigantic loyal fanbase over the years who do everything from following their tours to supporting their causes in public demonstrations.

When the native New Jersey band disbanded back in 2013, followers believed it was the end of an era, but that proved untrue with a powerhouse reunion in 2019. And now, the long wait for more dates is over as Way, along with his brother Mikey and bandmates Ray Toro and Frank Iero are back with a vengeance.

My Chemical Romance started as the brainchild of lead singer Gerard Way. In the aftermath of the 9/11 attack, the vocalist was inspired to write about the event and start a band with guitarist Toro, his brother Mikey on bass, Iero on rhythm guitar, and original drummer Matt Pelissier.

My Chemical Romance released its first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, in 2002. While it wasn’t a major hit, it used the music to cultivate a fan base following via MySpace. These efforts plus solid touring performances led the band to sign with Reprise Records in 2003.

In 2004, MCR’s second studio album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, climbed to a respectable position on the Billboard charts, peaking at #28, and went platinum within the year. Pelissier departed soon after the record’s release, so Bob Bryar took over behind the drum kit.

Over the next two years, My Chemical Romance opened for bands like Green Day on the American Idiot Tour and Fall Out Boy on the Warped Tour. With a robust following, the band was ready to amp things up.

In 2007, the band released its magnum opus concept album, The Black Parade. This rock opera centers around a central character dying of cancer. The band staged powerful events like a hosting live gig using a pseudonym that almost resulted in the audience revolting and a releasing faux parade of black-robed marchers.

Not only did The Black Parade solidify My Chemical Romance’s burgeoning cult following, it was a huge commercial success. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts and went on to go triple platinum in both the US and UK.

Mistreated and misunderstood by some media outlets, Gerard Way and his band had to overcome controversies generated by misinterpretation of MCR’s lyrics. After releasing their fourth album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, in 2010, the band would release a series of singles over the next two years compiled as the Conventional Weapons album.

Then, almost without warning, My Chemical Romance amicably broke up. But by 2019, a surprise show in LA signaled a reunion tour. COVID-19 postponed it in 2020, but now the boys are back and ready to take the world by storm.

As only a start-out band in the early 00's, they have blasted their way through all the others, just by their unique and heartfelt music. They are not just a talented, creative and inspiring foursome, but they all put their all into their spectacular performances on stage, whether it be small cramped venues, or huge overpacked arenas. My Chemical Romance are definitely the band everyone's heard of and alot of upcoming bands look up to. They jam pack their performances with energy, emotion and true passion. As popular songs such as the heart aching 'Helena' to the powerful 'Famous Last Words', there is always an element of surprise that this band will put into their set. Frontman 'Gerard Way' sure can get the crowd on their feet and having the best night of their life. However, as they are no longer a group they will certainly be an inspiration to many. My Chemical Romance is done, but it can never die.

Concerts are usually full of talent and fun. From my experience they have been amazing and a night you'll always remember. But after seeing My Chemical Romance, I finally realised how mind-blowing and inspiring festivals can really be. From the music to the laser show, the big screens to the loud speakers, everything was perfect.

MCR have always been true performers they either perform epically or not at all. And trust me they really knew how to entertain. I have always turned to music as a way out of reality, a tool used to set me free and it felt like they knew how to make me forget about the struggles and just have an amazing time. I was in complete awe, just watching my idols perform and seeing how powerful their words and music could be. They owned the stage. They owned the crowd.

I won't ever forget Gerad Way's hilarious dance moves to 'I Don't Love You' or when 'Frank Iero' guitar string came off mid song. I have some great memories due to that concert and I'm sure no matter how many other performers I see or concerts I attend, nothing will compare to the perfection of MCR.

My Chemical Romance is a classic punk band. My obsession started when I was 11. I loved the Black Parade and everything the band stood for. Their music never fails to amaze me. The lyrics helped me through some tough years and it breaks my heart that they broke up. I'm pretty sure that no matter your walk of life, MCR knew how to touch you.

Wow.. yeah. MCR was my favorite in early high school, seeing them after the craze was a great experience. Gerard still holds up with his great stage proformances and boy oh boy is Frank hot. Got to hear some of my favorite ever songs live and will forever remember this concert.

i will never forget this day and i metaphorically pissed my pants seeing all 4 of them together again. my favorite band of all time and sounded like they never took a 6 year hiatus. i would wait all over again t see them. the crowd sucked, emos are hard to mosh with.

Please announce a show in AZ. The tickets to the Vegas show sold out, and people rescaling tickets are selling them at an insane price. Please, announce more dates. There are plenty of people who have been fans since y’all started that want to see you.

My Chemical Romance Reveal Opening Acts for Rescheduled 2022 Reunion Tour Dates

They'll finally get a chance to "carry on" as My Chemical Romance 's pandemic-delayed reunion tour is finally happening stateside. The band just revealed the full rescheduled itinerary for North America after having to continually push back the shows due to COVID-19's impact on the touring industry.

The tour will now officially get underway Aug. 20 in Oklahoma City, with dates running through Oct. 29 which is the final scheduled night of the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas. The group has also added 14 new shows in 10 cities to the itinerary. See all cities, dates and venues listed below. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale this Friday (March 11) at 12N local time.

In addition, My Chemical Romance have filled the run with a variety of opening acts, including the reunited Midtown, Badflower, Turnstile, Taking Back Sunday, The Bouncing Souls, Thursday, Kimya Dawson, Meg Myers, Devil Master, Dilly Dally, Ghosh, Nothing, Shannon and the Clams, Soul Glo, Surfbort, The Homeless Gospel Choir, The Lemon Twigs, Waterparks and Youth Code all playing select dates.

My Chemical Romance announced their plans to reunite in the fall of 2019, though the seeds of a potential reunion were planted as far back as 2017.  "In 2017, we got in a room together to see what would happen," MCR wrote on Twitter in December of 2019 . "A couple more jam sessions and 39 days of rehearsals later, we’re ready to show you what we’ve learned. See you soon."

The band played their first reunion show at the Shrine Expo Concert Hall in Los Angeles on Dec. 20, 2019, reportedly grossing nearly $1.5 million for the band. The group then started announcing more and more tour dates for 2020, but the pandemic wiped out those plans.

My Chemical Romance Reschedule Reunion Tour for 2022

My Chemical Romance have once again rescheduled their North American tour dates , now set to begin at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 29, 2022. The emo band’s reunion tour was announced back in January 2020 and was originally set to begin that fall. After the onset of the pandemic , the tour was rescheduled to 2021 before being pushed to 2022 today. Tickets for all original dates will be honored; find the new itinerary at the My Chemical Romance website .

As of writing, MCR are still scheduled to play a handful of 2021 festival dates, including Riot Fest in Chicago this September. Their first performance of 2022 is currently set for March 12 at the Outerfields at Western Springs in New Zealand.

My Chemical Romance have revealed additional tour dates for 2022. After reuniting in 2019 ( see the setlist ), the band had previously planned to continue touring with highly anticipated live shows which have been rescheduled due to the pandemic. The new shows are set to take place this August through October.

My Chemical Romance will be joined by the likes of Turnstile, Waterparks, Taking Back Sunday, Badflower, Youth Code, Thursday and more at various dates of their long-awaited U.S. comeback tour.

My Chemical Romance have added even more arena dates to their busy 2022, and announced some amazing supports for their U.S. run.

The band's long-awaited comeback tour in the States will see them joined – at various dates, obviously – by: (in alphabetical order) Badflower , Devil Master, Dilly Dally, GHÖSH, Kimya Dawson, Meg Myers, Midtown, Nothing , Shannon and the Clams, Soul Glo , Surfbort, Taking Back Sunday, The Bouncing Souls, The Homeless Gospel Choir, The Lemon Twigs, Thursday , Turnstile , Waterparks and Youth Code. Amazing!

Tickets for MCR's 14 new shows will go on sale this Friday, March 11 at 12pm local time.

My Chemical Romance Plot First North American Tour in Nine Years

My Chemical Romance will tour North America for the first time in nine years this fall.

The reunion run launches September 9th at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and continues through the next month, wrapping October 11th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. My Chemical Romance announced the tour with an eerie short film titled “A summoning…” that features music from band members Ray Toro and James Muhoberac. The clip follows a young boy (played by Marcos Garcia) with an interest in the paranormal and the dark arts, who tries to outrun a trio of masked figures, with many of the scenes seemingly corresponding to different eras in My Chemical Romance history.

Tickets for all dates will go on sale this Friday, January 31st at 12 p.m. local time on Ticketmaster.com . Complete information is available on the band’s website .

After splitting in 2013 , My Chemical Romance announced their plan to reunite last fall. In December, they returned to the stage with a sold-out show at the Shrine Expo in Los Angeles. Rolling Stone ’s Suzy Exposito wrote of the show , “[I]t’s with this landmark concert that MCR ceases to be a nostalgic act, and proves its mettle as a timeless, rock & roll band for the ages.”

Prior to their North American tour, My Chemical Romance will play a string of international concerts this spring and summer in Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., and Europe.
