The Auschwitz tour was super engaging and brilliantly done considering the nature of the place, and the tour around the mines was much better and more interesting than I was expecting

No hassle booking. Confirmation the night before highlighting time of pick up. Driver spoke excellent English and we were well informed throughout the day of when and where to be. A very moving start to the tour with the morning spent at Auschwitz and Birkenhau. Horrific but very informative. Then a quick break and a pack lunch, which was lovely. Afternoon spent at the salt mines which again was very informative and an amazing place to see. Would highly recommend this tour.

This is a trip not to be missed. We booked the tour of Auschwitz, Birkenau and Wieliczka from the UK and read several reviews of previous tours. Although we knew that it was going to be a long day, the tour was so engrossing, moving and well organised that it was hard to believe that it lasted 12 hours. On the coach journey to Auschwitz from Krakow a video of the liberation of the camp gave a graphic reminder and set the emotional tone for the visit to the two camps. The tour driver/guide was excellent throughout the day and provided detailed explanation and descriptions of the camps and answered questions. As this was mid-January, the queues were not long and the places relatively uncrowded. However, this being January it was worth being prepared for being out in the open for much of the time and for a lot of walking - warm clothes were essential. The salt mine visit provided a welcome contrast at the end of the day. Lots of steps down and then a waking tour through the passages and hollowed out chambers. It was well guided by a humorous member of the mine staff. And it was warmer underground than outside! We had visited a bakery in Krakow to get breakfast to take with us before being picked up from outside our apartment at 7.45am The packed lunch was fine and there were opportunities to grab a coffee during the breaks. Thank you to our guide for pacing the day well and dropping us back to our apartment at the end of the day.

One of the most valuable and official national historic monuments is the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The mine lies within the Krakow metropolitan area, surrounded by greenery and is visited by more than one million tourists each year. It features many centuries of tradition and is the carefully curated work of tens of generations of miners. The attractions include multiple statues, four chapels carved out of the rock salt by the miners, as well as supplemental carvings made by contemporary artists. Deep in the mine, St. Kinga’s Chapel is a hidden gem. The enormous space highlights the grandeur of the mine, lit up by the lavish chandeliers draped throughout the chapel; it becomes hard to believe this space is known as a mine.

The guide was really knowledgeable about the subject and shared with us many thought-proving and educational stories. Even though this tour was truly harrowing, everything inside and outside is very well preserved and definitely worth seeing.

I didn't expect to see a city almost entirely made of salt before I went below the ground in an elevator. There are some of the most amazing structures, art, and chapels all created out of salt.

It took us 2 hours to explore the whole museum and we enjoyed every single minute we spent there. Like Krakow, Schindler's factory is filled with history. We read and listened to audio recordings and viewed the many pictures.

Oasis Tease Possible U.S. Tour Dates After Selling Out Comeback Shows in U.K. and Ireland

The duo recently announced their long-anticipated Oasis Live '25 reunion tour, confirming multiple stadium dates across the U.K. and Ireland next summer

Stop crying your heart out, U.S.-based Oasis fans: You may be in luck yet.

Just under a week after the British rock group, fronted by brothers  Liam  and  Noel Gallagher , announced their long-anticipated Oasis Live '25 reunion tour in the U.K. and Ireland, they posted a video to their Instagram Stories that teased a potential stateside visit.

The clip featured a digital Amazon Music ad in New York City's Times Square that read, "If we need to put up a billboard to get these guys to come to the States, here it is."

The billboard's message was presented alongside a black-and-white recent press photo of Noel, 57, and Liam, 51 — plus a side-eye emoji from Oasis on their post, which got fans talking.

The newly announced sold-out reunion tour will mark Oasis' first U.K. and Ireland shows in 16 years, and comes almost 15 years after the Gallagher brothers famously broke up in 2009 following an alleged argument backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” Oasis said in a statement of the reunion tour, per a release obtained by PEOPLE.

"This is it, this is happening," the band added in  an Instagram post  teasing the return.

Oasis will kick their comeback tour off at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4 and 5, before heading to the Gallaghers' Manchester hometown in England to perform at Heaton Park for five dates: July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20.

From there, the British rockers will head to London's Wembley Stadium for a further five dates on July 25, 26, 30 and Aug. 2 and 3, before stopping at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland on Aug. 8, 9 and 12. They will end the run of shows at Dublin's Croke Park on Aug. 16 and 17.

On top of their the tour announcement, Oasis also confirmed the release of a Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition of   their classic album   Definitely Maybe  on Friday, Aug. 30 to celebrate three decades since the band's debut studio release on Aug. 29, 1994.

Following the tour announcement, Noel was approached in public by a fan and his children — who attempted to get to the bottom of the brothers’ very public beef.

In a clip of the Aug. 29 interaction, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Steve Sheward, Noel stood in a London store as Sheward explained who the singer-songwriter was to his children.

“Why did you fall out with your brother?” one of the fans' sons asked a bit into the video, prompting Noel to joke with him a bit.

“‘Cause he stole my teddy bear ,” Noel quipped as the kids laughed. “I’m not lying. He stole it. 1978.”

The 28-year-old won the 2024 Tour Championship on Sunday , shooting 4-under 67 in the final round to finish at 30 under for the week, four shots in front of Collin Morikawa. Richard Hammond Makes Surprising Admission About The Future Of The Grand Tour

While Jeremy Clarkson , Richard Hammond and James May are gearing up to say goodbye to The Grand Tour for good, it turns out that it’s carrying on in their absence.

In a new interview with Metro , Hammond revealed that The Grand Tour will get a new team of presenters after the trio host their final instalment.

“It will be carrying on. The Grand Tour continues,” he explained. “We’re stepping away as the hosts, but Prime will be continuing it.”

He added that he was very much looking forward to the “amazing” prospect of “sit[ting] on my own chair and watch[ing] somebody else do it”.

“I can’t wait,” he enthused.

Clarkson, Hammond and May began presenting The Grand Tour in 2016, having initially fronted Top Gear together.

A year earlier, the BBC had made the decision not to renew Clarkson’s contract when he assaulted a Top Gear crew member while filming on location , and his co-stars made the decision to leave the show with him.

Prior to this, Clarkson was already reported to be on his final warning at the BBC, after footage of him muttering the N-word during a recitation of the children’s rhyme “eenie, meenie, miny, moe” was leaked in the media.

After eight years, Clarkson, Hammond and May’s last episode of The Grand Tour, titled One For The Road, will begin streaming on Friday 13 September.

Clarkson wrote in the Sunday Times over the weekend: “After 36 years of talking about cars on television, I’m packing it in, because I’m too old and fat to get into the cars that I like and not interested in driving those I don’t.”

The trio are set to release their fourth studio album ‘ The Greatest Love ’ on September 13 via Ministry Of Sound ( pre-order here ), and will head out on the road for their biggest shows to date in November.

London Grammar recently shared their new single ‘ Fakest Bitch ’ last month which marked the fourth preview of the group’s fourth studio album. The track arrived after London Grammar’s 2024 singles ‘Into Gold’ ,  ‘Kind Of Man’  and  ‘House’ . They’ll all appear on the forthcoming ‘The Greatest Love’, which follows on from 2021’s  ‘Californian Soil’ .

This summer has seen London Grammar headline  Latitude Festival  and  top the bill on the Park Stage at Glastonbury 2024 . In other news,  they delivered a cover of Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’ recently for BBC Radio 1 .

Speaking to  NME  in April 2023 , band member Dot Major teased that London Grammar were “definitely getting there” with their next full-length project. “We’re all really excited, because it’s been a little while – as it always is with us,” he explained.

Guitarist Dan Rothman  told  NME  in July 2022 that the trio had “been working on” their fourth album  throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Similarly, London Grammar previously  hinted in an interview with  NME  that their next LP could be their “best one yet” . At the time, frontwoman Reid said it would contain “a lot of deep, philosophical questions about life, relationships and love”.

As for Mayberry, last year, the Chvrches frontwoman embarked on her solo career. Previously speaking to NME about the venture , Mayberry shared: “There’s always nervousness. For any frontperson in a band, but especially a woman, as soon as you say the words ‘solo material’ people get very upset with you. I feel like every second sentence is, ‘I’m not breaking up the band, guys, however…’

“But we’re lucky enough to have fans that care so much that they don’t want it to break up. I feel grateful, but I’m trying to be reassuring to them – ‘Just give us a couple more years guys, it’s going to be fine’.”

She also shared that her solo material – which she previously described as “fun, freaky, sad, weird, joyful” – was easy to compartmentalise as “it was born out of things that I couldn’t or wouldn’t write in the band”.

So far, Mayberry has released three singles, 2023’s ‘ Are You Awake ’ and ‘ Shame ’ as well as 2024’s ‘ Change Shapes ’.
