Legendary house trio Swedish House Mafia have announced an epic world tour in 2022 behind their next album 'Paradise Again' . The North American portion of the tour kicks off July 29th in Miami and stretches into September visiting major U.S. markets like Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Seattle and San Francisco. Canadian shows are planned for Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Later in the year, the tour will be heading over to Europe for additional performances.

Swedish House Mafia's third studio album 'Paradise Again' follows up 2012's 'Until Now' which received a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album. The hit single 'Don't You Worry Child' reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA. The same year, they announced a breakup after launching their One Last Tour which stretched into 2013 and visited Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and North America. Original members Axwell , Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso formed the supergroup in 2008 along with Eric Prydz who departed shortly after.

Swedish House Mafia have shared a new single, Ray Of Solar.

Already a live favourite, the summery, high energy tune features operatic vocals by Tove Burman and follows the trio's March single See The Light with Fridayy.

It offers a further taste of the their forthcoming second album, which they revealed at their recent Tomorrowland appearance will arrive "later this summer". They said:

"Happy to be back with a song that takes us places! Once we recorded these vocals we really got transcended to space. We listened to it on repeat all night and imagined floating in space. This is the summer record for us and even though we’ve heard it a million times and still feel the power of it, it’s a really special one, the unique vocal with our style of writing melodies makes it special! Doing this together with Tove was incredible as we really felt we gave it a true Nordic sonic landscape. We love every second of it and can’t wait for the world to hear it!"

Steve Angello, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso released their debut album, 'Paradise Again', in 2022, which was followed by 'Paradise Again: The Live Album' this July.

They'll play the UK's Creamfields North later in August, before tour dates in the US, Columbia, Mexico, Peru and Brazil.

Swedish House Mafia Announces South American Tour Dates for 2023

After a hiatus that lasted several years, Swedish House Mafia reunited in 2018 to close out Ultra Music Festival. However, it wasn’t until 2022 that the trio embarked on a world tour and finally released new music. As Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello continue to build on their already legendary career together, they recently announced a return to South America for a run of tour dates.

In a social media post, the Swedish House Mafia announced that they will be returning to Brazil, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico for a short run of dates before the end of the year. Despite performing across Europe and North America since their reunion, the group is aware that there are still many fans around the world anticipating shows in their home countries. Fans in South America can finally celebrate the return of one of dance music’s most influential and important acts when the Swedish House Mafia arrives in Bogota for their first show in the region on October 27th. The post expressed the trio’s excitement to return to the region and reconnect with their fans: “South America, we’ve missed you! It’s finally time for us to come back! Everyone knows you’re one of the best crowds in the world… Let’s make up for lost time and create new memories together.”

This short-run is part of a limited number of shows that will bring the full power of the Swedish House Mafia together in 2023. While the individual members will maintain full touring schedules, the group seems to be more selective following their busy 2022. Although ticketing information and on-sale dates have yet to be released, fans are encouraged to follow the Swedish House Mafia via social media and stay up to date with the venue’s website for more information. Swedish House Mafia and Alicia Keys have joined forces for a new single, “Finally.” The joint single from the veteran producers and iconic singer-songwriter is a new reimagining of the classic Kings of Tomorrow track.

It’s been roughly two years since this collaboration first came together, and in that time Swedish House Mafia have built some healthy hype playing the record at various festival sets.

“Finally” is Swedish House Mafia’s first new release since they officially dropped “Lioness” with Niki & the Dove earlier this year. Similarly to “Finally,” Swedish House Mafia also initially shared “Lioness” in a live premiere in 2023.

Beyond the two Grammy Nominations they have to their name, Swedish House Mafia became the first electronic act to headline Madison Square Garden in 2011 and the first to handle the main stage at Coachella in 2012. Perhaps their most enduring hit, “ Don’t You Worry Child ,” has been certified quintuple-platinum since it first skyrocketed to the top of UK and US charts upon its release in 2013. Swedish House Mafia returned from a five-year break in 2018 to pave the way for their 2022 debut album Paradise Again , nearly fifteen years after the trio of Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Axwell first came together in 2008.

Alicia Keys is a 16-time Grammy winner, author, producer, actress and entrepreneur. Last year, she visited 22 cities with her Keys To The World, and has spent this year focused on a Broadway show she has been working for 13 years to see through: “Hell’s Kitchen,” which has since been nominated for 13 Tony Awards. The original stage musical from Keys opened at the Shubert Theater in April of this year.

Zedd, Telos

There’s a barrage of different styles and influences on Zedd’s new album, Telos , but on every single one of the 10 tracks, you can hear the great ambition embedded in the project, and also the achievement of its lofty aspirations. The long-awaited follow-up to the producer’s 2015 sophomore album, True Colors — which along with his 2012 debut Clarity set him up as a wunderkind of the EDM era, with a special dexterity in that genre’s pop impulses that delivered a string of hits to the Hot 100 — Telos finds the artist born Anton Zaslavski flexing every one of his musical muscles. The project shows off his classical training and good taste across productions that span classical, jazz, cinematic maximalism, Middle Eastern sounds and electronic party music that nods to the EDM origins of Zaslavski’s career, but evolves his sound into a sophisticated, nuanced (but yes, still danceable) place.

But the artist explains the guiding principles here best, with Zaslavski saying that the Greek word “telos” has multiple meanings, one of them being “accomplishment” or “completion of human art. I’ve always dreamed of creating an album that, 30 years on, I can look back and be incredibly proud of. That will be just as amazing then as it is right now, because it’s not based on trends or sound design that might fall off — it’s based on music, just like the albums that shaped me growing up that I still adore to this day. With Telos , I created something I didn’t think I was capable of — it just took a bit of time to get there.”

Zedd soon to bring the album to a live format with a fall North American tour that includes shows at the L.A. State Historic Park, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Tycho, Infinite Health

Few producers capture the heady, sun-soaked psychedelia of NorCal as well as Tycho, who again takes us up the coast and into the redwoods with his seventh studio album, Infinite Health . The project is classic Tycho, offering tracks that are clean yet emotive and sophisticated while still getting the blood pumping, simultaneously capturing brightness and melancholy through often hazy, lo-fi IDM that contains thematic multitudes.

Swedish House Mafia & Alicia Keys, “Finally”

Having woven their edit of Kings of Tomorrow classic into their sets for years now, it follows that Swedish House Mafia have now fully revamped the 2001 house anthem, bringing in none other than Alicia Keys for vocals and trading the brightly bumping bassline, hi-hat and warm keyboards of the original for a much bigger and more urgent swirl of strings. The track extends the XXL house vibe of their 2022 album Paradise Again , and nods to that album’s ambition to lean harder into the genre that the trio were so influenced by that they in fact name themselves after it.

Following his 2021 album Music For Psychedelic Therapy ( the intention of which was stated right there in the title), English maestro Jon Hopkins returns with an album so deep and soothing that it could very well be used for the same purpose. “Designed,” Hopkins says , “to reconnect you to the deepest part of yourself,” Ritual is subtle, deep and often profound, with the project first sparking to life in 2022 when Hopkins was commissioned to work on an immersive experience, Dreammachine, that set the celestial sonic and visual aesthetic for the eight-track Ritual . The album is out now on Domino Records.

Andy C & Becky Hill, “Indestructable”

As drum ‘n’ bass extends its positio n on the U.K. charts, two of the genre’s key players link for the predictably walloping “Indestructible,” which gets an official release today on Astralwerks but dates back almost ten years, when   Andy C first included an early version in his sets. With Hill possessing one of the defining voices of the genre and Andy C being one of its architects, the result is an acutely powerful meeting of the mninds, with Hill’s lyrics pointing to the success of genre itself.

“’How did we end up here, look how far we’ve come,’ say it all,” Andy C says. “It sums up my relationship with DnB, how popular the genre is right now as well as how huge Becky’s career is. It’s just so magical.”

Iconic GRAMMY® nominated, multi-platinum electronic supergroup  Swedish House Mafia and 16-time GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer Alicia Keys have teamed up to release a reimagined version of Kings of Tomorrow’s timeless classic ‘Finally’ – listen  HERE . The remake first came together around 2 years ago and has since gathered worldwide interest as Swedish House Mafia have played it in their live sets. This release follows their single ‘ Lioness ‘ feat. Nikki & The Dove via Republic Records. ‘Lioness’ was released in June and had been highly requested by fans since the record’s live premiere in 2023.

This summer, Swedish House Mafia played an array of international music festivals including Garorock Festival, Panama Open Air Festival, Lucca Summer Festival, Untold Festival, Findings Festival and the mainstage at Tomorrowland, which marked their return to the festival after 12 years.
