Image of Vignesh Rao

In Fallout 4 DLC Nuka-World, the player will get a side quest ‘Star Control’ where they’ll need to find Star Cores, to get access to the Special Circuit Board and a Nuka-world Power Armor. This Fallout 4 DLC guide will show all 35 Star Core Locations in the game and how to get the Quantum T-51 Power Armor. Here’s how to complete the Star Control side quest in just 10 minutes.

All 35 Star Core Locations

Once you enter the Galactic Zone, your “Star Control” quest starts. Here you will have to find 20 Star cores in the battle remaining. After finding them, you have to install them in the empty red panels in the mainframe terminals to complete the quest. 20 Star cores will be enough for the quest but if you want to unlock the display case of Nuka-world Power Armor, you will need all 35 Star cores. So without any further ado, let’s begin with the Star Cores hunt.

Galactic Zone Cores

Star core 1 – Star walk

Find the metal cage at the star walk bottom, which is located left to the RobCo Battlezone.

Star core 2 – Starport Nuka

It can be located on the second floor, inside the locked glass display case.

Star core 3 – Starport Nuka

In the 1st floor, you will find a glass door, open the door to access the terminal. You will find a dead body on the floor, search it to find the star core.

Star core 4 – Starport Nuka

Go to the Star control room, there you will see a burnt-out bus, after passing the bus check in the dumpster area. You will find Star Core in the trash on the floor.

You will find this star core at the top of the “Project G-Force” elevator ride.

Star core 6 – Nuka-Galaxy

Go inside the Main arena where you will have to fight with waves of RobCo enemies to find the two cores.

Vault-Tec: Among Stars

Star Trek Fleet Command Codes (September 2024)

How the elder scrolls oblivion paid homage to the series' roots, diablo 4 ptr players discover season 6 title and theme, finding star cores in fallout 4 's nuka-world dlc is a difficult task. check out this guide to find all 35 star cores to pass the 'star control' quest..

Fallout 4 quests often have waypoints guiding the player step-by-step, but that isn't the case with one major Fallout 4 Nuka-World DLC quest. The quest 'Star Control' requires players to locate a minimum of 20 Star Cores to power down the guard bots roaming the park, but the game leaves it up to the player to track them down in the sprawling post-apocalyptic theme park. Hunting down 20 can be an arduous task, but the elusive 35 that yield a new power armor suit is even more difficult, so here's a helpful guide to make it easier.

There are numerous Star Cores to be found in just about every area of Nuka-World , with the vast majority of them appearing in Nuka-World's major dungeons. If the player hasn't yet cleared the dungeons of enemies, they should make sure to suit up and be ready for a lot of fights. In some instances, a character can use stealth to collect the Star Cores without getting into a fight, but not all fights can be avoided.

Before delving into the individual dungeons, five Star Cores can be found in the main Nuka-World map:

  • In Nuka-Town USA at the Nuka-Town Market, look for a table on the north side of the map with a Star Core on top.
  • Also in Nuka-Town USA, go to the Nuka-Cade and head into the employee area for another core.
  • In the southwest corner of the map, northeast of the Nuka-World junkyard, there's a barn with another core.
  • In Dry Rock Gulch, south of Doc Phosphate's Saloon, there will be a core near a body.
  • In the World of Refreshment, enter the Nuka-Cola Bottling Plant, find the Nuka-Cola Quantum area, then turn right to locate a body. The core will be nearby the body.

Starlight Interstellar Theater

  • Immediately after entering, head left and enter the men's bathroom. Look intside a crack in the wall for a body with a Star Core.
  • Head back to the entrance and go right this time, go through the kitchen and the back door to find another core.
  • Go inside the theater itself, and look for the console across from the screen. Another core can be found there.
  • Head upstairs and enter the control room for the final Star Core in this dungeon.

Vault-Tec: Among the Stars

  • Enter the elevator at the entrance and head downstairs to the Vault-Tec exhibit. Head away from the exhibit and find an area guarded by Protectrons. A locked door can be found in this hall; behind it is a Star Core.
  • Head back to the exhibit path and stay on it until you find the living room. Go to the locked door, unlock it, and retrieve your Star Core prize.
  • Return to the living room and pick one of the other two unlocked exits. Follow the corridor until you reach a radioactive room. If your character's radiation resistance isn't high enough, deploy some Rad-X or radiation protective gear, enter, and grab the Star Core.
  • Go back to the living room once more and enter the nursery. Lockpick the sliding door to enter the main office, defeat the Novatron, then head to the observation center for a whopping three Star Cores.

Nuka-Galaxy

  • Before heading inside Nuka-Galaxy, look for a Star Core leading near the Arcjet G-Force ride entrance.
  • Just outside the entrance, look for the small shed next to the ramp leading into Nuka-Galaxy for another Star Core.
  • Head to the boarding area of the ride, then look down the track. You'll see a door on the right side that has a Star Core behind it.
  • Continue on through the next door and follow the behind-the-scenes view of the ride until you reach a room filled with planets. Cross the ledge, and follow the stairs down, then go through the room until you enter a corridor. A Star Core can be found near the console here.
  • Keep going through the corridor and use the elevator on the left-hand side. Exit the elevator, hang a left, and find the opening leading to the next room. Another Star Core can be found by the console here.
  • Now head right along the rocky set and find a hidden door. Go through it, then head upstairs, and step onto the tracks. Take a left to go up another flight of stairs and find a Star Core with yet another console.
  • Go to the very end of the ride to pick up a Star Core and a key.
  • Use the aforementioned key to open a side path heading back to the start of the ride, and you'll find another set of stairs that leads to an office containing a Star Core.
  • Enter the control booth next to the office for the final Nuka-Galaxy Star Core.

RobCo Battlezone

The RobCo Battlezone is one of the hardest locations to collect Star Cores from, as it requires the player to face off against bot enemies whether or not stealth is employed.

  • Immediately after the entrance, go to the seating area and turn left. Find the locked door along the wall, unlock it, and collect two Star Cores inside the room.
  • Enter the souvenir shop to find a Star Core conveniently located on some shelving.
  • Enter the tunnels beneath the arena. There will be a Star Core on the console, but be wary of the Sentry Bot guarding it.
  • Lastly, walk into the arena to collect the final two Star Cores in this dungeon. Be careful leaving, though, as the player character will be forced to face off against three waves of robots when they attempt to leave.

Starport Nuka

Starport Nuka isn't one of the Galactic Zone's main dungeons, but it does contain five more Star Cores. However, the final Star Core listed can only be picked up after restoring power to the park, so it's advisable to go after these last.

  • Walk towards Starport Nuka's mainframe until you find a body. A Star Core is found near here.
  • Head into Starport Nuka and go upstairs to find a Star Core in a locked display case.
  • Go to the Starport Nuka base, pass the gate, and look for another body near the sheds there for another Star Core.
  • Pick up an extra Star Core as you head down the ramp from Starport Nuka. It'll be at the end of the ramp on the right side.
  • The last Star Core is on the top floor of Starport Nuka, but this area is only accessible after completing the quest 'Power Play'.

Finding every Star Core in Nuka-World can be an irritatingly difficult task, but it's a necessity to pass the 'Star Control' quest. However, once it's out of the way, exploring Nuka-World will be much easier and the player can enjoy a sweet new set of Quantum X-01 Mk.V power armor. Then players can carry on in their new power armor and let off some pent-up stress by raiding the settlements they themselves may have once created.

The STAR ( S ystemized T elemetry for A utomated R obot Control) cores, were designed for robot control across the entire park, based in the Galactic Zone. [1] The actual technology utilized a series of highly redundant, interchangeable telemetry modules, known as "star cores." At runtime, the cores would establish a radio communications interlink between the mainframe and the linked robotic systems, allowing the mainframe to coordinate their actions and issue commands irrespective of their underlying operating protocols.

After the Great War , the Galactic Zone became a ground for traders from Nuka-Town USA to acquire scrap materials for use and trade. Eventually, the traders came across the Star Control mainframe and its star cores. Kendell Alston , thinking his daughter Tiana Alston 's explanation that the cores were "redundant" meant they were okay to take and sell, removed most of them from Star Control's mainframe. However, it was around this time that Colter and the Nuka-World raiders took over Nuka-Town , leading to the idea that Star Control mainframe's defensive mode would be able to defend them from the gangs.

Shortly thereafter, Tiana realized that they had taken too many cores and that it was unsafe to activate, and sent other surviving traders to gather enough cores to safely activate the defensive mode. However, Kendell decided they needed the defenses online sooner, and despite Tiana's warning and assurances they only needed an hour to gather enough cores, Kendell activated Star Control. As the robots and defenses in the park came online, they began attacking the traders within the Galactic Zone. [2]

Star cores are redundant multi-purpose control panels consisting of a black circuit board with glowing red lights. They are necessary for taking over the Galactic Zone during the quests Star Control and The Grand Tour , but they can also be picked up during normal exploration. Only 20 of the total 35 star cores are required for the quest. Collecting the full set unlocks the display case which holds the Quantum X-01 power armor , provided Nuka-World 's power has been restored by completing Power Play or Open Season .

There are 35 star cores in total.

  • One in the Arcturus Prime display area guarded by protectrons , behind a locked door.
  • One in the living room, behind an Expert locked door.
  • One in a highly irradiated room accessible through the living room.
  • Three in the observation center adjacent to the main office, behind a Master locked door (a key is available, behind another locked door that also has a key).
  • Two in the control room overlooking the arena. Behind the locked door in the seating area to the left of the entrance.
  • One in the souvenir shop underneath the seats, on a shelf.
  • One in the tunnels underneath the arena, on a console, guarded by a Sentry Bot .
  • Two in the arena. Entering the arena will release three waves of combat robots.
  • One in the men's restrooms directly left of the entrance, next to a body inside of a damaged wall section.
  • One through the kitchen to the right of the entrance, inside the walk in freezer.
  • One in the theater proper, on a console opposite the screen.
  • One in the control room on the upper level.
  • One in the boarding area, behind a door on the right side a short distance down the tracks.
  • From the last room, follow the tracks to a large room with many large asteroids. On the opposite side are some stairs leading down. The door across this room leads into a corridor, halfway through which another core can be picked up from a console.
  • Down that corridor, and take the elevator to the left. Once in the basement, enter the next room through the opening left of the elevator and pick up the core from the console straight ahead.
  • Past the rocky environment, climb the long set of stairs behind the hidden door. Once back on the ride track, the core can be found on a console up some stairs directly to the left.
  • One in a console at the end of the ride near the disembarkation zone (opposite the mannequin wearing the Nuka-Girl Rocketsuit ), together with a key.
  • One in the office on the upper floor, accessible through a door that can be opened with the aforementioned key.
  • One in the small control room with some destroyed protectrons near the office.
  • One in front of the mainframe, next to a body.
  • One on the upper level above the mainframe, in a locked display case. The key is on a desk, next to the manager's terminal in the Employees Only Novice locked room nearby.
  • One on the ground level past the locked gate, next to a body near the dumpsters.
  • One on a console at the bottom of the long curved ramp known as the Spacewalk .
  • One on the Starport's top floor. This core can only be accessed once power has been restored to the park after completing Power Play or Open Season , or with jet pack equipped power armor.
  • One in the Splashdown control shack directly right of the Nuka-Galaxy entrance.
  • One in the ArcJet G-Force , top of the high staircase.
  • One in the Nuka-Town market , on a table to the left of Shelbie Chase .
  • One in the Nuka-Cade , on a weapons workbench in the employee area.
  • One in the Nuka-World Junkyard , on the large barn's second level.
  • One in the Dry Rock Gulch , next to a cooler and two dead traders south of Doc Phosphate's Saloon .
  • One in the World of Refreshment , in the Nuka-Cola Quantum bottling area, next to a dead Gunner by a metal double door.
  • Once the quest Star Control is finished, one can still look up the locations of the missing cores by accessing the terminal at Star Control.
  • It is possible to interact with the cores multiple times, causing you to pick up more than one.
  • If the core at Nuka-World Junkyard was picked up before Trip to the Stars , it will respawn when the quest is started.

Behind the scenes

When first accessing the Star Control mainframe with no star cores placed, the mainframe will display a screen that includes the scripting variables, Token.ValueInt=DLC04GZ_StarCoresInstalled and Token.ValueInt=DLC04GZ_StarCoresTotal, for tracking how many star cores have been installed. This is also a fourth wall break as the variables include the prefix DLC04.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World - How and Where to Find All the Star Cores in Nuka-World

Find out where to find all 35 of the Star Cores needed to complete the Star Control quest in Fallout 4: Nuka world.

Josh Hawkins

Fallout 4: Nuka-World is the latest DLC expansion from Bethesda, and it packs a whole lot of things to dive into. One of the biggest quests in the new DLC, Star Control, actually takes the usual hand-holding waypoint marking Fallout 4 quest format and turns it on its head, tasking players with locating 20 Star Cores to power down the guard bots that roam around the park without any kind of help. It’s almost like finding a needle in a haystack! Finding 20 of the items will finish the quest, letting you progress. However, if you manage to find all 35 of the Star Cores that have been hidden around the park, you’ll unlock a sweet new set of Power Armor. To help you out we’ve compiled this guide with directions to each and every Star Core.

We're still working on collecting every core, so be sure to check back often for updated information.

The first five Star Cores can actually be located in the main area of the Nuka-World map.

  • Look for a table on the northern side of the area new Nuka-Town USA at the Nuka-Town Market to find this Star Core.
  • The second Star Core can be grabbed from the employee area of the Nuka-Cade.
  • Travel to the southwest corner of the map, just northeast of the Nuka-World junkyard, to find this third Star Core in the barn in that area.
  • The fourth Star Core can be located near a body that can be found just south of Doc Phosphate’s Saloon, near the Dry Rock Gulch.
  • The final Star Core in the main area can be found beside a body in the World of Refreshment. Head inside the Nuka-Cola Bottling Plant, then enter the Nuka-Cola Quantum section and turn to your right to spot the body, and the Star Core nearby.

Starlight Interstellar Theater

  • Head to your left after entering the theater to find this Star Core inside a hidden room that can be found by traveling through a crack in the men’s bathroom wall.
  • From the entrance, turn right and make your way through the kitchen to the back door. This Star Core can be found nearby.
  • Another Star Core can be found on the console that sits across from the massive projector screen inside the theater.
  • Make your way upstairs to the control room to find the last Star Core in this area.

Vault-Tec: Among the Stars

  • Take the elevator near the entrance to the bottom level to find the Vault-Tec exhibit. Move away from the exhibit, take out the nearby Protetrons, and then lockpick the locked door at the end of the hall. This Star Core can be found inside.
  • Make your way to the living room display and locate the locked door. Use a lockpick to open it, and then look inside for another Star Core.
  • In the living room area, head through the unlocked exits and into a room filled with radioactive materials. A Star core can be found inside.
  • Locate the nursery, which is just off to the side of the living room display, and lockpick the sliding door to find the main office. Defeat the Novatron that guards the office, and then keep moving forward to find three Star Cores in the Observation Center.

This guide is a work in progress and we will be updating it daily with new Star Core locations, so be sure to check back for new locations and descriptions.

Fallout 4 : Nuka World is driving us rabid with this Star Cores fetch quest. Let our guide save you the angst.

fallout 4 dlc nuka world

Fallout 4 : Nuka World includes a quest called Star Control in which players must track down 20 Star Cores in order to repair a mainframe. Optionally, they can collect a full set of 35 to unlock a new set of power armour.

This mission is a necessary step in the main quest The Grand Tour, and takes place in the Galactic Zone. You can complete Star Control simply by wiping out every robot and turret on the map and its associated dungeons (marked with ride symbols), but it is worth doing it "properly" by tracking down the Star Cores. Doing so will automatically unlock all the Galactic robot mods added in Fallout 4: Nuka World, and of course there's that power armour, innit. A fine reward for your hard work.

Fallout 4 Nuka World is full of these waypoint-less fetch quests, so we feel no shame about providing a guide for them. So here you go: directions to every Star Core in Fallout 4: Nuka World.

By the way, we have a huge Fallout 4 guide you can check out if you're struggling with any other part of the game. If you have questions, we have answers.

Galactic Zone dungeon Star Cores

There are four dungeons in Nuka World's Galactic Zone - Starlight Interstellar Theater, Robco Battlezone, Vault-Tec: Among the Stars and Nuka Galaxy. Clearing these dungeons will net you a total of 23 Star Cores - more than enough to reboot the mainframe. These are the easiest Star Cores to find because you know how many there are in each area, and once the enemies are down, it's just a matter of poking carefully into each corner.

Still, it's pretty easy to miss a couple, so we've listed the location of each Galactic Zone dungeon Star Core below. Where applicable we've arranged them in the order you'll encounter them along the linear crawls, so if you're missing just one or two Star Cores as opposed to vacuuming them all up at aince, just wander along the crawl route and check in at each of the Star Core locations to see if you've grabbed it.

Starlight Interstellar Theater Star Cores

There are four Star Cores in this short, non-linear dungeon:

  • From the entrance, take the left corridor until you reach the bathrooms towards the far end. Enter the men's bathroom (blue paint) and look for a crack in one wall. There's a dead trader in here with a Star Core.
  • From the entrance, explore the right corridor until you reach the kitchen at the far end. There's a door in here behind which you'll find the second Star Core.
  • Enter the main cinema area. There's a console towards the rear of the room, opposite the screen, with a third Star Core.
  • Take either of the elevators to the catwalks or control room above the cinema. There's a fourth Star Core in a console in the control room.

RobCo Battlezone Star Cores

There are six Star Cores in this dungeon, but you'll need to survive some tough robot encounters to claim the last one. If you don't need every Star Core, skip the fourth one here.

  • From the entrance, enter the audience seating area and immediately turn left. Search along the wall for a locked door leading to a room with two Star Cores.
  • Take one of the passages between the blocks of audience seating to find the souvenir shop tucked away at the back. There's a Star Core on a shelf.
  • Facing the robot battle arena, circle anti-clockwise to enter the tunnels underneath it; beware the sentry bot. There's a Star Core on a console.
  • Finally, make a save and then enter the arena itself, where you can collect two Star Cores. Three waves of hostile robots will spawn in before you can exit, so be careful.

Vault-Tec: Among the Stars Star Cores

There are six Star Cores in this confusing and occasionally deadly dungeon. Check the scenery in each room to orientate yourself.

  • From the entrance, take the elevator down to the start of the "ride". In the area with rocks and Protectrons, look for a locked door hidden away from the ride path. There's a Star Core in the room beyond.
  • Follow the ride path until you reach a living room display. There are multiple exits from this room. One locked sliding door leads to a small observation room with a Star Core.
  • Two of the exits from the living room area form a short loop. Along this route there's a highly radioactive room. There's a Star Core in this room.
  • Finally, there's a nursery off the living room display area. Pick the locked sliding door here to enter the central office - watch out for the Novatron. One of the doors in this room leads to the main observation centre, where three Star Cores and a loot chest await.

Nuka Galaxy Star Cores

This linear dungeon includes seven Star Cores. If you're a stealth character, activating ride lighting at any active terminal will make it easier to sneak up on the many enemies and turrets. Otherwise, the standard emergency lighting makes navigation and spotting Star Cores much easier. Turn up your screen's brightness!

  • From the entrance, proceed through the queueing lanes to the boarding area. Facing the direction the ride travels, look for a door to the right of the ride path. There's a Star Core in this room.
  • From the last room, take the door leading deeper into the ride. When you reach a large room with multiple planets, cross to the opposite side of the ledge you start on, and find some stairs leading down. Cross the room to reach a corridor, and collect a Star Core from the console part way along it.
  • Continue along the corridors and take the elevator on your left. Turn left out of the elevator and find a small opening leading to the next room. There's a console directly opposite this entrance where you can collect another Star Core.
  • Proceed right through the rocky set to reach a hidden door leading to a long set of stairs leading up. When you emerge back onto the ride track, immediately turn left and climb a short flight of stairs to reach a console with another Star Core.
  • At the end of the ride you can collect a Star Core and a key from a console at the disembarkation zone. Use the key on the nearby door to open a path back to the ride entrance. In the short tunnel between the ride entrance and ride exit there's a short flight of stairs leading to an office. Collect a Star Core in here.
  • Finally, enter the tiny control booth off the office mentioned in the last bullet point and grab the last Star Core from the computers.

Nuka World and Galactic Zone Star Cores

Although there are a stack of Star Cores to be found in the dungeons listed above, a further 12 Star Cores are lying around in the overworld or miscellaneous cells. Seven of them are found in the Galactic Zone, while five are scattered around the broader Fallout 4: Nuka-World map.

Galactic Zone Star Cores

There are seven Star Cores to be found around the Galactic Zone park. Clear out or avoid enemies to make this easier.

  • One Star Core is found near a corpse near the mainframe in Starport Nuka.
  • A second Star Core is found in a locked display case on the upper level of Starport Nuka.
  • At the base of Starport Nuka, go through the mesh gate and search the huts and sheds for a third Star Core near another corpse.
  • There's a Star Core on the console at the top of the long stairs leading up to the Arcjet G-Force ride near Nuka Galaxy.
  • Facing the entrance ramp to Nuka Galaxy, search to the right for a small shed with another Star Core.
  • There's one Star Core on the console near the bottom end of the Spacewalk; if you're coming down the ramp from Starport Nuka, it's on your right just at the end. Approaching from Robco Battlezone, it's on the left before you go in and harder to see.
  • The final Star Core is on the top level of Starport Nuka, and is only accessible afetr completing the main story quest to restore power to Nuka World.

Nuka-World Star Cores

To get the last five Star Cores, you'll need to range all over the greater Nuka-World map.

  • On a table in the Nuka-Town Market, on the north side.
  • Inside Nuka-Cade; turn right from the entrance and head back into an employee area.
  • In a barn north east of the junkyard found in the south west of the map (the Hubologist quest will take you to the junkyard if you're having trouble finding it).
  • South of Doc Phosphate's in Dry Rock Gulch, near a corpse.
  • Near a corpse in the Nuka-Cola Bottling Plant; face the Quantum area and turn right to locate it.

Star Core console ID

Look, we all know there's no point playing games if you're just going to cheat all the time, but we also know it's very tiresome to do a bunch of fetch quests when you just want to shoot robots and pick pockets. So you'd be forgiven for wanting to spawn in 35 Star Cores through the console and tick the quest off that way.

Well, tough biscuits: it doesn't work. Star Cores spawned with the console (ID 0601E367) can't be installed in the mainframe. Buh-bow.

If you really want to cheat your way through Fallout 4: Nuka World, you'll need to use the console to advance the quest stage until you have "collected" all 35 Star Cores, and then install the 35 Star Cores you added to your inventory. You could also just no-clip through the display case and grab the power armour if you don't mind the quest hanging around unfinished in your journal.

Honestly though, collecting the Star Cores doesn't take too long now that you know where they all are. Good luck!

On PC, PS4 & Xbox One: Unlock the best Power Armor in the known galaxy with these 35 Star Core locations.

F4Nuka8

Want the best Fallout 4: Nuka World Power Armor? Then you’ll need to locate all 35 Star Cores — special circuit boards that connect to the missing slots in Star Control. This is all related to the ‘Star Control’ quest, but only 20 are required. To unlock the display case and grab that shiny suit of Quantum Power Armor, you’ll need all 35.

Most of the Star Cores aren’t too tricky to find — they’re mostly found in the four Galactic Zone attractions with markers on your map. It’s the remaining handful of cores left all over that park that’re going to be a problem. Some cores are in different areas of Nuka-World, and one is all the way out in the junkyard west of the park proper. If you’re eager to unlock that special Power Armor, check out the tips below.

If you’re a true survivor, check out Gameranx’s massive list of guides, how-to’s, secret locations, and everything else a fresh Vault 111 escapee needs to thrive on the Fallout 4 Ultimate Commonwealth Guide .

  • Star Core #2: Nuka-World Junkyard – Enter the large blue-hued barn-like warehouse and take the side-door to the upper-level office. The core is to the left of the computer desk. This is the same spot where you’ll find a Scav! magazine.
  • Star Core #3: Nuka-Cade – Enter the Employees Only maintenance room and check the workbenchs to spot this Star Core.
  • Star Core #4: World of Refreshment – At the locked terminal door in the Quantum mixing chamber, look in the corner with the Gunner corpses.

Fallout 4 Nuka-World Guide: Where to Find Star Cores in Galactic Zone

Image of Kyle Hanson

Fallout 4 Nuka-World seems to have a minor obsession with fetch quests. It seems like no matter where you are, you’re being asked to go find X and bring it to Y. The biggest of these, though maybe not the hardest when compared to the Hidden Cappys, is easily the Star Core challenge in Nuka-World’s Galactic Zone. If you haven’t gotten there already then just know that you will have to scour both the Galactic Zone itself, as well as other areas around Nuka-World. There are 35 Star Cores to find in total, but unless you really want that shiny new Power Armor, you can get by with just 20 of them. After much toiling I found all 35 anyway, so I’m gonna show you where to find Star Cores in Fallout 4 Nuka-World. Note: I’m not going to walk through the combat needed, or even the keys required at times. You’ll have to figure that stuff out on your own, this is just to show you where to find Star Cores. In total there are the following number of Star Cores in each area: Galactic Zone main area – 7, Nuka-Galaxy – 7, Starlight Interstellar Theater – 4, Vault-Tec: Among the Stars – 6, Robco Battlezone – 6, and outside of the Galactic Zone – 5.

Nuka-World Galactic Zone – Seven Star Cores

The first Star Core you should find is right inside of Starport Nuka, beside the dead body of one of the crew who was trying to fix the homicidal robots. Outside the Starport area, around the back (to the left if facing the entrance) you’ll find a gated area. Head in here and to the left to find some junk and a dead person with another Star Core. Go to the second level of the Starport, unlock the locked door and grab the Manager’s key, use this to unlock the display case with another Star Core. At the top of Arcjet G-Force, found just outside of Nuka Galaxy, is another Star Core. To the right of Nuka Galaxy’s entrance is Splashdown, head to the control room on the left, past the gate to get another. Outside of the door to the Robco Battlezone, to the left is the Spacewalk lower entrance, here is a console with a Star Core. The last Star Core you are likely to find requires you to restore power to Nuka-World, which is a quest at the end of the DLC, then just go to the second floor of the Starport and take the elevator.

Vault-Tec Among the Stars – Six Star Cores

Head in the lower entrance and go straight, this will likely require some lockpicking on your part. Once you get to an office head to the left and on the left wall is another sliding door. Inside you’ll find three Star Cores. Head through the next room, past the baby’s crib and into the mock household. Straight ahead is a broken wall with a reactor inside, it’s radioactive so be careful. Walk past it to find the fourth Star Core. Head back into the mock room and into the door in the corner to the right of the atrium walkway to find the fifth one. Finally head up the stairs to the Atrium. Keep going, through the Vault door and into the fake space area, head behind the left-side rocks to get the sixth and final Star Core for this area.

Robco Battlezone – Six Star Cores

Head inside, fighting off any robots that attack you. Before entering the Battlezone itself you can go into the employee only area on the left, above the seating area. Go in here and up to the projection booth to find two Star Cores. Also, under the bleachers on the left side, there is a Star Core behind the bar here. Also before entering the fray, head all the way to the right of the Battlezone and down some stairs to find another Star Core. This would be a good time to head back to the Starport to insert your Star Cores and use them to shut down some of the robots. Finally, go into the Battlezone itself to get two Star Cores, just be ready for a lot of combat.

Starlight Interstellar Theater – Four Star Cores

Head inside and to the theater area, at the back is a bar that has the first Star Core. Go to the far back corner and into the restroom, in a broken alcove is a dead man with another Star Core. On the opposite side of the theater you’ll find an elevator, first go to the hallway to its right, through the kitchen, unlock the door, and grab the third Star Core. Go back and up the elevator, head to the far corner to find a door. Enter it and go down the stairs to get to the projection room to grab the final Star Core.

Nuka-Galaxy – Seven Star Cores

Head inside and through the line, then take a left to get to the front of the coaster. Inside the control room on the right is the first Star Core. Go out the back and up the short stairs in the corner, follow this path until you hit the large, open room, then find the large metal staircase that heads down. In the hallway down here is the second Star Core. Continue moving down and hop on the elevator, go into the cavelike room on your right to grab another on the consoles here. Find the doorway in the corner of this room, which should lead to a large set of stairs that lead up, just keep moving up until you hit a square room with stairs in the corner, take those to get the enxt Star Core. Take the other path out of this room and keep taking the way that leads you up, past the roller coaster and to the exit area of the ride, where you’ll find another Star Core. Hop over the tracks and into the back area, up some stairs to get the final two Star Cores.

Outside of the Galactic Zone – Five Star Cores

More of a list for this one, since it’s such a large area. In a barn outside and toward the North East of the Nuka-World junkyard (where the Hubologists’ ship is found). On the ground, near a dead body in Dry Rock Gulch, South of Doc Phosphate’s, and under a streetlight. Inside of Nuka-Cade, to the back right from the entrance in a work area. Right near Nuka-Town, USA’s main area, in the Market; the Star Core is on a table to the right if coming in the front entrance of the park, look for the red “Sale” signs. In the Nuka-Cola Bottling Plant, head right if looking right at the Quantum bottling area, it’s near a dead body again. That’s it, put all 35 into the Starport computer and you can open up the display case and grab your brand new Power Armor.

Background [ ]

Safari Adventure was a Nuka-World park area with a theme focusing on the safari and its commonly associated wildlife. When scientists employed by the park attempted to clone the animals, an activist group known as the Animal Friends and Defenders kidnapped one of the lead researchers, Dr. Hein , and held him hostage at the Angry Anaconda construction site on the day of the Great War in an attempt to end the experiments. [1]

Only one person at the cloning facility survived the bombs, Dr. Darren McDermot . After seeing scavengers in the park, McDermot worked to create a strong yet tameable species that would defend the facility, but instead created a violent subspecies of deathclaw called the " gatorclaw ". McDermot was driven out of the facility as the cloning process spiraled out of control, mass-producing gatorclaws and setting them loose in the area. [2] [3] This infestation has so far remained within the walls of Safari Adventure as of 2287, but has also prevented the establishment of any settlements by traders or raiders . The only peaceful inhabitants remaining in the zone are a family of primates and a human named Cito .

Safari Adventure is an enclosed section of the park infested with gatorclaws and other creatures. The main entrance is to the south, and a back entrance formed by a river running through a gap in the wall is to the northwest.

Starting from the main entrance, following the west wall northward leads first to a pair of smaller abandoned structures, with a Nuka-mixer station next to the concession kiosk. Farther north is the Jungle Journey Theater , with a small maintenance shed holding an armor workbench behind it to the west. North of the amphitheater is a small café with a boat on the roof and a cooking stove inside, and a pair of boarded-up restrooms to the west. North of the café is the reptile house , and just a little farther north is the back entrance to the zone, which leads to the Angry Anaconda construction site.

Starting again from the main entrance, going straight north leads to the Welcome Center and a fight between Cito and a gatorclaw. North of the Welcome Center is a group of cages, and still farther north is a hedge maze that leads to Cappy's treehouse and a hidden Cappy clue . To reach the treehouse, from the maze entrance, take a right, a left, another left, and then hug the left wall until the elevator to the treehouse is found. To reach the clue, from the maze entrance, take a right, another right, a left, and then continue down the path until the end. Finally, north of the maze on the far side of the river running east-west through the northern section of the zone is a bear cave in a caged area.

Starting once again from the main entrance, following the south wall eastward leads first to a small market featuring another Nuka-mixer station next to a concession stand. From there, continuing east and then north past a pair of boarded-up restrooms and a water tower leads to the primate house . Another hidden Cappy clue can be found behind the gorilla statue in front of the primate house by walking through a hole in the hedge to the right of the primate house entrance. North of the primate house is a bridge over the river, beyond which is a small picnic area with benches, a concession stand, and several cages in a nearby building and behind the concession stand.
