Uh oh! Steffen Hånes, The Master, arrives in Birmingham together with his loyal servant Gregory Lass as Gregor to conduct The Ritual. The Master will terrify you in extravagant yet charming ways. Gregor lives to serve his master’s will in order to complete their spooky spectacle. This is your invitation to revel in the company of vampires - do you dare to accept? All creatures of the night are welcome.

The Ritual is a horror-comedy show, the dream of two Vampires who wish to captivate and enthral the public. Their well-meaning attempts to terrify lead to hilarity as The Master and Gregor, together with the audience, create a memorable experience that is different every time.

The Ritual has entertained audiences from London to Brighton and as far afield as Oslo, New York City and Los Angeles, selling out at the Edinburgh Horror Festival in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022.

Steffen is currently supporting Viggo Venn on his ‘One More Time’ UK Tour following the success in Britain’s Got Talent 2023.

1-day spiritual tours in bali, bali: full-day spiritual cleansing and shamanic healing tour.

rituals tours centre

Experience Highlights:

  • Connect with a Balinese shaman for shamanic counselling and profound healing.
  • Explore the 11th-century Hindu water temple, Pura Tirta Empul.
  • Engage in a transformative spiritual cleansing at the revered Bali Holy Spring Temple.
  • Unwind with an optional experience, choosing between a Luwak coffee tasting or a soothing massage.
  • Personalize and enrich your journey with a range of available add-ons.

Full Description:

Embark on a comprehensive program encompassing spiritual healing and cleansing at the sacred Tirta Empul temple. The day commences at your hotel in the morning, where you’ll be picked up and transported to the temple to meet one of the finest Balinese Shamans from Puri Negari.

The Healing by Balinese Shaman merges Yagna, Yatra, and Mantra practices. Yagna healing eliminates negative influences, guiding you towards inner peace and happiness.

Through the recitation of mantras, Mantra healing dispels lower frequencies from your being, elevating your energy. A mantra is a precise amalgamation of sacred sounds, acting as a nucleus of spiritual energy that draws in elevated spiritual vibrations, leading to awakening and empowerment.

Yatra healing focuses on removing obstacles that may hinder achieving a specific outcome. This can involve clearing career impediments, dispelling adversaries’ ill intentions, shielding one from negative energies, and restoring equilibrium to one’s aura and chakras.

Locally known as “melukat,” this holistic process spiritually cleanses the mind and soul. It can be conducted in any place considered sacred by the Balinese. However, Tirta Empul (the Holy Spring Temple) is revered as the most sanctified site for this purification.

In addition, you can relish a tasting of Luwak coffee or partake in a traditional massage for an added layer of relaxation and rejuvenation.

FAQs: Spiritual Tours in Bali

Getting to & around bali:.

Bali is well-connected internationally, with Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar as the main gateway. Many major airlines operate direct flights to Bali from various countries, and domestic flights from other parts of Indonesia are also convenient for travellers.

Once in Bali, transportation options include taxis, ride-sharing services, and rental cars for getting around the island.

Insurance and Health Precautions:

It’s highly recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance when visiting Bali. This should cover potential medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen events.

Ensure your policy includes coverage for activities like water sports and trekking, as these are popular in Bali.

Additionally, consider vaccinations or health precautions your healthcare provider advises, such as Hepatitis A and B vaccinations, typhoid and tetanus.

Visas and Entry Requirements:

Most visitors to Bali do not require a visa for short stays (typically up to 30 days for tourists, but it’s advisable to check current regulations as they can change).

Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your departure date. If you plan to stay longer or engage in activities not covered by standard tourist visas, consult with the Indonesian embassy or consulate in your home country for specific visa requirements.

Essential Items and Preparations:

Before heading to Bali, pack essentials such as lightweight clothing, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, sunscreen, insect repellent (although I recommend buying the local Soffell brand here; it works well!) and any prescription medications you may need.

It’s also wise to carry a universal adapter for electrical outlets; get the ones with multiple sockets for devices, as sometimes there’s only one socket in each room.

Familiarize yourself with local customs aand the culture here. Maybe consider learning a few basic Indonesian phrases to enhance your interactions with locals.

Remember, this is a general guide, and you should verify specific requirements and recommendations closer to your travel date, as regulations and advice may change.

Conclusion of the Best Spiritual Tours in Bali:

Embarking on a spiritual tour in Bali or sinking your teeth into a soulful retreat offers more than just a vacation; it provides a profound journey within.

Engaging in guided meditations, exploring sacred sites, and immersing oneself in transformative practices can lead to a heightened sense of mindfulness and a deeper connection with one’s inner self.

The benefits of embarking on such a journey are manifold. They include not only a respite from the demands of daily life but also an opportunity for holistic rejuvenation.

Bali has the perfect environment that encourages a sense of tranquillity, enabling participants to disconnect from the outside world’s noise and find solace in the present moment. Moreover, interactions with the warm-hearted locals and exposure to their spiritual traditions offer valuable insights into different ways of perceiving and living life.

Additionally, spiritual tours in Bali can foster personal growth and introspection. It provides a nurturing space for self-reflection, allowing individuals to gain clarity, purpose, and a deeper understanding of their spiritual path.

Whether through yoga, meditation, or participation in ancient rituals, the transformative power of these experiences resonates long after leaving the island.

In conclusion, a spiritual tour or retreat in Bali is an investment in one’s well-being, a chance to reconnect with the often lost inner self, and an opportunity for profound growth. It offers a taste of the island’s natural beauty and a gateway to the rich spiritual tapestry woven into its essence.

1st bus tour for evacuees of Jasper goes ahead as Trudeau visits fire command centre

'incredible' progress made on townsite infrastructure: premier danielle smith.

Social Sharing

The first bus tours into a partially-burned Jasper went ahead Monday morning, as officials from multiple levels of government, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, attended briefings in nearby Hinton, Alta.

According to Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, buses   left from Hinton and Edmonton Monday, carrying 62 passengers. Another bus, from Valemount, B.C., will leave on Wednesday.

A total of 563 people have registered. Media are not permitted on the tours.

Priority is being given to those whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the wildfire that ripped through the town more than a week ago. Residents are not allowed to leave the bus during the tour for safety reasons.

Trudeau attended a technical presentation with Smith and Mike Ellis, Alberta's minister of public safety and emergency services, Monday morning.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau meets with Alberta Premier Dannielle Smith. They are shaking hands and saying something to one another. Trudeau is in a blue button up and blue jeans, while Smith is wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. They are in a small room with dark walls and fluorescent lighting.

"I think all of us took away how important it was to have unified command — having the municipal government as well as our government, as well as the federal parks — all working together as we have gone through the last number of days," Smith told reporters Monday afternoon.

"When I spoke with the prime minister, I said it would be my hope that that would continue through reconstruction."

Posting on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Trudeau noted that he had been briefed by the incident response team in Hinton.

"This wildfire season has devastated communities, and firefighting efforts are still ongoing. We're making sure Alberta has everything they need to respond to these fires and help rebuild Jasper," Trudeau wrote.

There has been "incredible" progress made in the townsite when it comes to restoring power and critical services, Smith said, but there is no firm re-entry date right now.

Ellis said more information on a  24-year-old Calgary man , who died after being injured by a falling tree while fighting a wildfire northeast of Jasper, will be forthcoming.

According to the Jasper Wildfire Complex Unified Command, which is comprised of members of both Parks Canada and the Municipality of Jasper, it happened around 2 p.m. MT Saturday.

Ellis reiterated his condolences to the man's family and colleagues.

Despite the tragedy and destruction, Smith told reporters she was in awe of the spirit of the evacuees she's spoken with.

"It's remarkable. You talk to structural firefighters who knew that they'd lost their own home and continued fighting because they knew that they had to draw a line to be able to protect both the town and the critical infrastructure," she said.

"Now [people] are just hunkering down and saying, 'What do we do to get our town back to normal?'"

Telephone town hall

Alberta will hold a town hall meeting Tuesday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m., for those evacuated from wildfires including Jasper.

People can participate online or by phone.

Online access is available at  alberta.ca/emergencies . Evacuees can also phone in at 1-833-380-0691.

Current fire situation

There are 858 people currently fighting the fire, according to Dean MacDonald, one of the incident commanders with Parks Canada.

Despite the cool weather in the area, MacDonald said it doesn't take much for fire behaviour to pick up again, as most of the fuel for the fire is still dry.

"Right now, we're taking advantage of the fact that we're going to try to get as many people on the ground as we can, in places we could not get them," he told reporters Monday.

  • Business craters for open tourist spots outside Jasper National Park

MacDonald said it's good to have political leaders come down and see the incident command centre and said he knows the team has their full support.

Trudeau was not touring Jasper on Monday, in part because he wanted to give residents some space, MacDonald said, as they were seeing the destruction for the first time. Many of them lost their homes in the fire.

As for those whose homes are still standing, they will need to get insurance adjusters onto their property to assess the livability of their homes, according to Christine Nadon, incident commander for the Municipality of Jasper.

We invite you to explore several spiritual sites, varying from Prehistoric Sanctuaries , and Minoan Cave-Temples , to Greco-Roman Shrines , Byzantine Churches and modern Orthodox Temples . You will experience an approach on the ancient and modern ritual practices of Crete, researching the path and connections from prehistoric to historic religions, rituals and religious forms in the art.

The Prehistoric Worshipping of the “Great Mother”

Our private tours take place in the most astonishing prehistoric peak sanctuaries, cave-temples, shrines and worshipping settlements constructed on strong energy fields. Researching the worshipping of the Minoan “Great Mother” Goddess, you will be visiting areas of a unique natural beauty and huge historic importance.

What can those sites tell us about the people of that era? What can their Art tell us about them and their ritual? What are the connections of Crete and other prehistoric areas worldwide?

Examples of such unique areas of visit are the Cave of Eilithyia, the peak sanctuary of Anemospilia, the sacred chasm – peak sanctuary of Juchtas Hill, the peak sanctuary of Petsofas, Karfi late Minoan settlement, Idaion and Diktaion Andron and so many others.

Ancient Greek and Greco-Roman Temples

You will explore the connections with the prehistoric past and the transformation of the previous Prehellenic/Pregreek religion and ritual into the one of the Olympian Pantheon. Is the Prehellenic myth and practice still alive in there? And in which form? What can be said about its “development”? What are the aspects of the “new” Gods in each case?

Examples of such sites are the ancient Greek city of Latos, the ancient early Greek city of Aptera, the ancient Greek city of Eleuhterna or Apollonia, the Roman city of Gortys, the Grecoroman city of Lappa and a number of others.

Byzantine Monasteries

We offer private tours in some of the oldest (14th-17th century) and most authentic Byzantine monasteries of the island penetrating into the byzantine iconography and its symbolism.

You will find out all about the development of the form in the Art of the Byzantine era, the meaning and symbolism of the iconographical circle in each church and the new society circumstances that lead to the specific depiction of the Divine in the form that you see it. How different is the Christian religion from the previous Cults of Greece? In which points do we have the entry of new elements in the cultic life and in which points Christianity steps on the previous historic path? What happens to the ritual practice?

Such unique areas of visit are the Byzantine Monastery of Kera Kardiotisa, the post Byzantine Monastery of Preveli, the Arcadi Monastery, the monastery of Vrondissi, the monastery of Valsamonero, the Byzantine Monastey of Kera at Kritsa, the monastery of Toplou and an enormous number of others.

19th-20th century Orthodox Churches

The churches of today, Christianity today and the survival of the Byzantine principals in Iconography, Art, Architecture and Cultic life of modern Greece.

How close are the people of today to the church and how much alive are the thrills and legends bound up with miraculous icons and visions of Saints in the people’s hearts? What are the ritual practice principals in the church today and how close to the old tradition they remain? How strongly does the ritual practice appeal to the people’s faith and understanding of the Divine? How often do we see old and modern orthodox churches constructed upon ancient ritual sites?

Examples of the continuity of the old principals of cult into the cultic life of Crete today, are the Convent of Kaliviani Monastery, the church of Agios Myron, the Convent of Savathiana, the Convent of Pantanassa, the cave-churches of Agiofarago, the church of St. Thomas near Sissi, the church of Ag Antonios in Patsos and a big number of other unique churches.
