Safari Hbo Max won't play
Safari Hbo Max won't play. My Safari 14.1 on macbook air (Big Sur - 11.6.1) suddenly stopped playing Hbo Max videos. i can log in and maneuver around the website but it won't play videos- "can't play title" message. I've tried all fixes including setting "allow auto play" on safari. many restarts of mac and sign out and in of Hbo max.

Use Edge or Safari to watch HBO max instead. U will get the max resolution your computer can support. General rule of thumb : if any streaming seems to be capped at 720p, try watching it on Edge/Safari browsers. Edit : Safari is no bueno. Only on Edge as far as I know.

I checked with HBO, the browser doesn't support 4K, it is 1080p. They asked me to look at https://hbom.ax/4k-watch. for the devices which support 4K. They also told me not to use the app. As of today: HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu can do 1080p on Safari in Macs. Only Netflix can do 4K in browser.
