Configure Voyager 1450g for Cloud Retailer

Modified on Tue, 15 Feb, 2022 at 8:31 AM

The Honeywell/Voyager 1450g should be configured using the following document instead of through the Ezconfig application.  Something doesn't allow the STX/ETX to work properly when configuring it through software.  You also need to have Turbo mode enabled to scan a driver's license correctly.

  • Download the attached 1450g-STX-ETX.pdf file
  • Scan all 5 barcodes starting from the top.   Note: The first barcode will reset the scanner to defaults, if you omit digits from UPCs or have other custom configurations, do not scan the first barcode.

Voyager 1450g / 1452g Barcode Scanner

voyager 1450g driver

The Voyager 1450g is a very reliable and competent instrument - not only can it read barcodes on a phone screen and at nontraditional angles, it ideal for the rough and tumble retail environment. Upgraded with Data Matrix Protection Plugin ( DMPS Plugin ) by 2DTG, Voyager 1450g becomes effective tool for product authentication and brand protection – ideal solution for retailers.

The Voyager 1452g is a wireless version of the Voyager 1450g area-imaging scanner delivering superior bar code scanning plus the freedom of Bluetooth® wireless connectivity. It offers a long lasting lithium-ion battery holding a charge for up to 14 hours at 40,000 scans per charge (4.5-hour recharging time) and Bluetooth Class 2 radio that enables movement up to 33 feet (10m) from base.

Both 1450g and 1450g versions are constructed with a seal rating of IP42 to protect from dust and water drops, along with a sturdy housing that has a drop spec of 30 5' drops to concrete. Corded version (Voyager 1450g) ships with a 5-year warranty standard; wireless (Voyager 1452g) – 3 years.
