The regency is located 169 km west of Surabaya , or 114 km east of Solo (Surakarta) City and 38 km southeast of Ngawi . In its capital city, there is center of railway industry (INKA). Susan Berry documented her extended trip on TikTok.

When an American traveler was able to get a travel voucher from an airline to stay in Italy a bit longer, she had no idea it would essentially lead to getting paid to travel .

Susan Berry, who has been documenting her travel delays-turned-delight on TikTok, told "Good Morning America" that her first flight home from Italy was oversold, and when the American Airlines gate agents offered $1,200 travel vouchers to anyone willing to fly out the following day, she took it.

"Yeah, this is awesome. Work hard, money to stay in Italy," Berry said.

The next day's flight was also oversold, as was the day after that too.

"The second day when I found out that there was potentially a two week opportunity to do this. That's when I started being, like, 'cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching,'" she said.

As Berry racked up travel vouchers, she said the Fort Worth-based carrier also set her up with a free hotel, arranged a car service from the airport, and paid for her meals.

"We had a three course meal, all provided by American Airlines," she said in one TikTok video amidst the staycation.

As Berry continually returned to airport, fully intending not to get on her flight, she documented in a subsequent TikTok, "I'm at $3,600 and counting I'm trying to get up to $10,000 and then travel the world."

At one point, Berry shared a video where the airline employees began to recognize her, surprised that she wasn't already gone.

Experts say that because flights are oversold a lot, flexibility can make travelers thousands of dollars -- plus additional perks, especially if you negotiate.

"Airlines have a secret menu as well. This can be things like lounge passes or even a business class seat on your replacement flight," Scott Keyes, Going.com founder and author of "Take More Vacations", told "GMA."

Berry eventually made it back home to Philadelphia as her fourth flight finally had enough seats for her to board.

"I was just getting started, so I was mentally prepared to stay for two weeks," Berry told "GMA."

Keyes reminded others that if you're going to accept a deal, when you talk to the gate agent, specify you want to receive the final offer, not the first offer. If the agents raise the offer to get more people off the plane, you receive the higher amount of money.

Interrupting his typical pattern of a digressive and lengthy speech, Mr. Trump played two video compilations of past remarks by Ms. Harris that his campaign hopes will portray her as overly liberal and inept.

The first video drew on statements that Ms. Harris made during the 2020 presidential campaign, when she tacked to the left and backed progressive ideas on criminal justice reform. The second was a montage of interviews and speeches that Mr. Trump’s campaign used to mock her speaking style and insult her intelligence.

The videos did little to alter the message that the Trump campaign has deployed against Ms. Harris for weeks and that Mr. Trump summed up during his speech on Friday.

“America cannot survive for four more years of this bumbling communist lunatic,” Mr. Trump told thousands gathered in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse at Montana State University. “We cannot let her win this election.”

Mr. Trump and his allies have repeatedly tried to portray Ms. Harris as more liberal than President Biden in the three weeks since he ended his campaign and cleared the way for her to be the Democratic presidential nominee.

The video compiling her past positions accused her of supporting a ban on fracking, mandatory gun buybacks and a single-payer health insurance system like “Medicare for all.”

Ms. Harris has backed away from those policy positions, which largely stem from her time in the 2020 presidential race. But Mr. Trump — who has been known to flip-flop or equivocate on hot-button issues like abortion — argued that her early statements were the only ones that mattered.

Mr. Trump’s rally on Friday was his first since Ms. Harris chose Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota as her running mate, and he used the selection to bolster his portrait of the Democratic ticket as overly liberal. Effectively likening Mr. Walz to a socialist, he accused the governor of being too lax in his response to protests that turned to riots in Minneapolis after the police murder of George Floyd and for signing a law giving access to menstrual products to transgender children.

Referring to Mr. Walz as “Comrade Walz,” Mr. Trump argued that Ms. Harris tapped him for his progressive bona fides. “This is her ideology,” he said.

Mr. Trump also acknowledged that he has frequently mispronounced Ms. Harris’s given name in recent speeches, though he added that he “couldn’t care less” how it should be pronounced. He admitted that he has in the past “done a lot of bad name-calling” in which he has purposefully mispronounced a person’s name. “They say, ‘Sir, you made a mistake,’” Mr. Trump recounted. “I said, ‘No, I didn’t.’”

Still, Mr. Trump’s speech offered continued evidence of the growing pains he has faced as he tries to shift years of attacks against Mr. Biden toward Ms. Harris.

Even as he argued that Ms. Harris was more extreme than Mr. Biden, he tied her to the president’s policies on immigration and the economy.

At one point, he said she was the one running the country the past four years, even as he repeatedly argued that she was too unintelligent or incompetent to do so effectively. Mr. Trump has long made the same argument about Mr. Biden.

Mr. Trump's rally is part of a western swing that includes fund-raisers in mountain resort towns favored by the wealthy. Before he took the stage in Bozeman, he attended an event in Big Sky, Mont., and on Saturday he will travel to fund-raisers in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Aspen, Colo.

Montana is not an obvious site for a presidential campaign rally. Mr. Trump won the state handily in both 2016 and 2020, and he is expected to do so again in November. But with Republicans keen on flipping Democrats’ narrow edge in the Senate, Mr. Trump traveled to Montana to support his party’s Senate candidate there, Tim Sheehy, who is looking to unseat the Democratic incumbent, Senator Jon Tester.

At one point, Mr. Trump, whose flight to Bozeman was diverted to another city after his plane suffered a mechanical issue, reflected on how long it takes to travel to Montana.

“I’ve got to like Tim Sheehy a lot to be here,” he said.

International Delta flight struck by lightning diverted back to Boston: FAA

A Delta Air Lines flight headed to Rome , Italy , from Boston, Massachusetts, on Sunday, was struck by lightning while in the air, according to the airline and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The flight was diverted back to Boston Logan International Airport "out of an abundance of caution" after the crew reported a lighting strike after departure, according to a statements from Delta and the FAA.

The plane landed back in Boston at 7:20 p.m. ET "safely and without further incident," the airline said.

The commercial passenger aircraft was an Airbus A330, according to the FAA.

Passenger Donna Pilat, from Nashua, New Hampshire, told ABC News she heard "a small pop" while on the flight.

"It was a very rough landing back in Boston with fire trucks waiting," she said. "We could smell burning rubber from the wheels. They had to tow the plane to a hanger and that’s why we didn’t get our luggage for hours. Long night but could have been worse."

Delta apologized to travelers for the delay and said they are "working to get our customers to their final destination as quickly as possible."

The FAA said it would investigate and noted that regulations require that commercial aircraft be designed to withstand lightning strikes.  

Pilat, the passenger, said the delay led to her losing out on a tour of the Vatican. She said she hoped to make a Mediterranean cruise that begins on Wednesday.

"I sure hope lightning doesn’t strike twice!" she said.

Australia to join US Global Entry program to cut travellers' airport wait times

Australian travellers will soon have access to the US' Global Entry and TSA PreCheck programs, which speed up customs and security clearances at American airports.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong says the necessary legislation will be introduced in the Australian parliament next year.

From January, 1,000 frequent travellers will be able to apply, but the government says there are plans to expand eligibility later in 2025.

Australians will become eligible for easier passage through American airports with participation in the US Global Entry program set to begin early next year.

The program allows pre-approved, low-risk travellers from selected countries to use automated kiosks to speed up their processing times upon landing in the US. 

They'll also get access to faster security screening for domestic flights.

American citizens can already use self-service "SmartGates" at Australian airports, but a plan to open up Global Entry to Australians stalled after being first flagged in 2018.

"It's good for Australian businesses, and it's good for our friendship," said Foreign Minister Penny Wong, who made the announcement in Washington DC.

"This program and our participation in it is a sign of our closeness and our trust."

A two-step process

Australia's participation in the Global Entry program will occur in two stages, with 1,000 frequent travellers able to apply from January 2025. 

They'll need to have travelled to the US at least five times in the previous 12 months. 

However, that requirement will be lifted when phase two begins and the number of Australians able to enrol becomes unlimited. 

That second, expanded stage will require legislation to be passed through the Australian parliament, and is expected to begin "later" in 2025.

Australians approved for Global Entry will skip the general lines upon arriving at an American airport and will instead present at an automated kiosk.

They'll also get access to the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) "PreCheck" program, which provides faster security screening for domestic US flights.

Who will be eligible? 

The program will be open to Australian citizens who meet a set of requirements on both the Australian and US sides. 

Applicants will be subject to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check from the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission. 

Current or former members of the Australian Defence Force will be checked for military convictions.

The Department of Home Affairs will make a preliminary assessment on whether someone should be approved, but the final decision rests with US authorities. 

Applicants can be denied for reasons such as having any criminal convictions or pending criminal charges, violations of customs laws in any country, or providing false information on the application form. 

The US charges a non-refundable fee of $US100 ($154) per Global Entry application. If approved, it lasts for five years.

Australia will also charge applicants for the cost of processing background checks.

However, those fees haven't yet been set and they'll be waived for the 1,000 people who become eligible in phase one.

What's behind the delay?

The Global Entry program is already open to citizens of more than a dozen other countries, including the UK, Germany, Singapore, Bahrain and Brazil. 

Australia and the US agreed to start working towards an agreement in 2018 but it was delayed due to the pandemic. 

Asked to provide details on the hold-up, Senator Wong said she'd "asked the same question".

"I understand this was flagged many, many years ago, but didn't come to fruition," she said.

"It's the previous government, so you'd have to ask them, but I'm just pleased that we've managed to land it."

Senator Wong is in the US for the annual AUSMIN talks between Australian and US foreign and defence ministers.
