Our Starline 2400 series ships are beautiful pewter models of the ships of the Star Fleet Universe. Over 100 ships are available and more are added every three months (or more often). Some of these ships date from the original Starline 2200 range or the limited production Starline 2300 range (but are now in pewter instead of lead) but many are entirely new.

Bandai 1:850 scale USS Enterprise Refit NCC-1701

This is the 1/850 model kit from Bandai. The kit comes pre-painted, hence the level of detail, especially the complex aztek pattern, is outstanding. The completed model is approx 36cm in length.

The following modifications are made to the kit:

• New lighting system - all bulbs replaced with bright white/coloured LEDs.

• Custom Base - wooden, with engraved brass plate and switches to turn the lights on & toggle between the blue & amber deflector dish. Also has fader controls for the nacelles & the deflector dish.

• Arboretum windows - in the original kit these were simply coloured blue - these have now been cut out & lit through a blue transparency.

• Flashing navigation lights

• Optional sound effects

• Optional app controlled fully configurable lighting with the Inner-Light system by Scalectronics

Bandai 1:850 scale USS Voyager NCC-74656

This is the 1/850 model kit from Bandai. When assembled it measures approx 40cm in length. The kit comes pre-painted.

The following modifications are included during the build:

• New lighting system - all supplied bulbs replaced with bright LEDs, including flashing navigation lights

• Custom Base - a brass pole now supports the model on a custom made wooden / engraved brass base.

• The base has independent nacelle & main hull light switches. Also has independent fader controls for the nacelles & the main hull.

Bandai 1:1700 scale USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E

This is the 1/1700 model kit from Bandai. This kit also comes pre-painted, and measures approx 40cm from stem to stern when assembled.

• New lighting system - all bulbs replaced with LEDs, including flashing navigational lights.

• Custom Base - wooden, with engraved brass plate and a switches to turn the lights on and fader knobs to control the brightness of the main lights, and blue / red LEDs in each nacelle.

Brand new Furuta Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection 2 - U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C Miniature Display Model imported from Japan. This miniature plastic model is about 4.2" long (non scaled) and fully painted with excellent details. Please note that this miniature U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C model requires some simple assembly and it contains small parts which are not suitable for small children (choking hazard!). Also, this item will be shipped in its original factory sealed black plastic bag in unassembled condition with its corresponding trading card and instruction sheet. Outer box and packing will not be included.

WizKids reserves the right to change prices at any time.  Purchase prices are final at the date of purchase.

DISCOUNT POLICY

Unless otherwise noted, discount codes (or site-wide discounts) cannot be redeemed for (or do not offer) a discount on the following products: NECA products, KidRobot products, pre-order or back-order items, life-sized foam replicas or trophy plaques, HeroClix Iconix, gift cards, or certain promotional figures such as Scott Porter HeroClix.

ORDER PROCESSING

Domestic orders placed by noon EST are normally processed and shipped by our warehouse within approximately one (1) to five (5) business days from the date the order was placed. You should receive an order tracking number via email and in your shop.WizKids.com account the day after your order is in transit.

International orders placed by noon EST are normally processed and shipped by our warehouse within approximately one (1) to five (5) business days from the date the order was placed. Most international orders arrive within ten (10) to thirty (30) days from the day they are shipped.

ITEM LIMITS

The best of wargaming and military history, star trek: furuta ships.

First the bad news: Some of these are now essentially collectables and are extremely expensive .

The good news though is many are still very reasonably priced especially considering their strengths. As you can see from the photos below the quality of the miniatures is outstanding . They are as good or better than anything out there. They come in just a few pieces and snap together — We used a bit of plastic cement on ours — in just a few minutes. The paint jobs range from very good to outstanding and also include decals. They are easily equal to or better than what many modelers will be able to do themselves and they are ready to go in literally minutes.

The other good news, as you can see in the photos, is that they also scale very well with other miniatures for gaming. In the photos we put in a Starline 2500 ship miniature for comparison. The new generation Star Trek ships are supposed to be twice the size, or more, of the original ships. The problem with this from a gameplay standpoint is it just looks odd. The Furuta ships are 25% or so larger (depending on the model) than the Starline 2500 ships and that gives them a nice sense of size without being ridiculous. They mount easily on stands for gaming (we use the CorSec Engineering stands) and are perfect for Star Trek: Attack Wing or Federation Commander .

The last bit of bad news is that the Furuta line basically consists of mostly Federation ships. There are a few Klingon, Jem’Hdar , Romulan and Borg ships but the choices are very limited and often now expensive. Also if we see one more large Klingon Bird of Prey we’re gonna beam ourselves into space. But there is always hope Furuta will expand the line in the future. On the plus side, because the scale works well you can use Starline 2500 and AMT Klingon models with these just fine.

If you have any interest in Star Trek and especially if you play Attack Wing or Federation Commander you can’t get any better than the Furuta line.

Note: Here is a nice guide to actual Star Trek ship sizes . As you can see for gaming, keeping miniatures true to scale would get strange especially as you mix in the alien races that have some truly huge ships.
