Paramore at AO Arena — stage times, supports, setlist and more

They're in the midst of their first tour anywhere in over three years. This is going to be an absolute party.

Danny Jones

In case you somehow missed the countless videos on TikTok and people’s Instagram stories, Paramore are well and truly back and have been delighting fans with their world tour since October.

Arriving for the UK and Ireland leg of their ‘ This Is Why Tour’ earlier this month, pop-punk turned alt-rock outfit are playing top tracks from their latest album of the same name — as well all the hits, of course — and judging by what we’ve seen online, they’ve been absolutely smashing it.

Now stripped to just three of the original four founding members , it looks like they really are back to doing what they do best: making music, playing massive shows and having fun.

With that in mind, Paramore arrive at Manchester’s AO Arena this Tuesday, 18 April, and for those of you going along to relive your noughties emo days or simply watch Hayley Williams be Hayley Williams, here’s all you need to know.

Tickets for Paramore in Manchester

First things first, if you were still hoping to grab yourself some tickets, we’re sorry to be the bearer of bad news but pretty much every one of these puppies sold out in the blink of an eye — even we couldn’t even bag ourselves any, try as we might.

That’s at least in terms of standing anyway; it looks like are a few seated tickets floating about on sites like Twickets and TicketSwap but they’re pretty pricey and, as always, we’d urge you to be super cautious when it comes to buying from resellers.

However, plans always change and someone always drops out, so we sincerely hope you get a miracle and bag yourself some standings in time for the gig.

Support acts — what a billing!

As if getting to see the band back on stage with new music wasn’t enough, Mancs will be treated to some serious talent when it comes to Paramore’s support acts for the AO Arena gig.

In addition to bringing rising Winchester-born and London-based artist Rozi Plain (‘Help’, ‘Friend City’, ‘Inner Circle’) along for the UK and Ireland leg, those who grabbed tickets have also somehow managed to land themselves the legendary Bloc Party as ‘warm-ups’. You jammy so-and-sos…

The indie and alt-rock veterans, known for the likes of ‘Helicopter’, ‘Flux’ and ‘This Modern Love’, have been around since 1999 if you can believe it, but are still one of this country’s best exports and it seems the Tennessee trio know it.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bloc Party (@thisisblocparty)

There are special guests and then there’s having literal headliners as your ‘warm-ups’, come on, guys.

Paramore stage times for Manchester AO Arena gig

According to the Arena, doors will open to the event at 6pm. The gig itself should start shortly after with Rozi Plain due to play around 6:30pm before lead supports and special guests Bloc Party starting around 7:30pm.

If you even have any energy left after watching Kele Okereke and co. do their thing, Paramore are likely to take the stage at around 9pm for what we can only assume will be two hours of bangers, Riot! era headbanging and pure partying.

God, we’re jealous.

Predicted set-list

Last but not least, judging by what’s been played at the shows on the tour so far — with Dublin kicking off the first date on this current leg — the core ‘ This Is Why ‘ Tour setlist hasn’t been switched up too much from night to night.

That being said, there has been some flexible around the middle section of these and coming to such a massive music city like Manchester, they’re sure to pull something big out of the bag.

With help from setlist.fm , here’s what we think it’s going to look like:

  • Note To Self (spoken word intro)
  • Playing God
  • That’s What You Get
  • Running Out of Time
  • Caught in the Middle
  • Ain’t It Fun
  • Crystal Clear (Hayley Williams song)
  • Still Into You
  • Rose-Colored Boy
  • Cover 1 (they’ve done everything from The Cranberries to Fleetwood Mac in the past)
  • Cover 2 (we’re going to assume some Manc anthem — just please not ‘Wonderwall’, guys)
  • I Caught Myself
  • Misery Business
  • This Is Why
  • Crave (Encore)
  • Green Island Festival returns to Hulme Garden Centre for 2023
  • Wunderhorse at Deaf Institute – so good you’ll never see them on a stage this small again
  • A club night paying tribute to legendary indie club Jilly’s Rockworld is back in Manchester

This is the first time Paramore have been back to Manchester’s AO Arena since 2018 when the band were touring the After Laughter album and the lineup was different, so this feels like somewhat of a homecoming for the band as we first knew them.

Now six albums and nearly two whole decades into their career, we think it’s fair to call Paramore veritable rock and pop royalty — I mean, you don’t get the honour of playing the Arena if you aren’t worth the entry fee.

So, if you were wondering exactly why people are so buzzing for this gig, well, this is why:

Neighbourhood Festival 2024 lineup

The second wave of the lineup Neighbourhood Festival for 2024 has just been revealed and the city centre celebration of live music is looking top-notch.

Neighbourhood Fest returns this October for another all-dayer packed full of local talent and rising stars from all over the UK and a whole host of new acts have been added to the 2024 lineup.

With the likes of high-flying Manchester artists Corella, Antony Szmierek, Seb Lowe and Chappaqua Wrestling already topping the bill alongside ever-growing indie outfit Red Rum Club and fellow Scouse stars The Mysterines and more, we were already spoilt for choice, to be honest.

However, the excitement is only continuing to ramp up with just a couple of months to go until the festival and a shed load of new additions filling out this year’s roster.

neighbourhood fest 2024

Announcing the second wave on Thursday, 15 August, Neighbourhood has now confirmed that The Royston Club lads, the hugely exciting Villanelle – fronted by Liam Gallagher’s son Gene – singer-songwriter Bellah Mae and another local band, The Guest List, will all be joining the 2024 lineup.

And that really is just the tip of the iceberg.

Nearly 40 more acts have been tacked on to the already stellar lineup which will play across a total of 16 venues dotted around the city centre, such as the Manchester Academies, Albert Hall, Gorilla, O2 Ritz and other iconic gig venues.

Other names rocking up to the festival this year include fast-rising singer-songwriter Liang Lawrence, who has become a viral sensation on TikTok ; cult favourites of the Manc indie scene, M60 and Picture Parlour and promising solo artist Pixey, just to name a few.

You can see the full lineup down below:

  • Noah Kahan at Co-op Live, Manchester – one thing is for sure, he’s gonna go far

Christine and the Queens and more announced for Homobloc 2024 lineup

  • Beyond The Music announces second wave of artists for this year’s Manchester festival

Now running since 2016, Neighbourhood Festival and its Weekender parent event over in Warrington, have become two of the most popular music events in the North West in what feels like the blink of an eye, welcoming artists who have now gone on to become some of biggest names in the country.

From Sam Fender, The Lathums and Yungblud; Mahalia, Declan McKenna, Holly Humberstone, The Lottery Winners and countless others, it isn’t just a proving ground for up-and-coming artists, it’s practically become a rite of passage.

Manchester’s biggest and best multi-venue festival returns on Saturday, 5 October and you won’t get many other events that last all day and run well into the night.

While early bird sold out quickly and tier two is also selling fast, you can still grab your tickets HERE .

Noah Kahan, the man behind the folk-pop obsession sweeping the music scene right now had every single corner of Europe’s biggest indoor arena, Co-op Live, singing every word back at him last night.

The Grammy-nominated chart-topping overall-wearing ukulele-playing superstar has been on the up and up for the past couple of years since his viral sensation ‘Stick Season’, and his cult following is only growing.

Not taking the traditional route of songs about heartbreak (well not all of them anyway), his music addresses bigger topics like mental health and self image. And despite one popular song literally being about decomposing bodies being eaten by worms, his lyrics resinate with his audience in a way unique to his fellow popular artists.

The singer sold out the 23,500 capacity venue in one of the final shows of his “We’ll All Be Here Forever” World Tour. As my first time seeing the new arena in all of its glory i have to say it’s very impressive, particularly the fact that the seats have cup holders – truly revolutionary.

paramore tour uk support

Supporting Kahan was an artist on her own fast-track path to super stardom, Maisie Peters. Just days away from supporting the queen herself, Taylor Swift, at Wembley Stadium the talented singer got the audience going with a medley of top hits from her album ‘The Good Witch’. The blonde pocket rocket is one to look out for, and trust me ladies if you’re reading this in the depths of heartbreak this album is just what you need.

Spot on nine o’clock, and I’m a real stickler for punctuation, the band appeared on the stage followed by Noah and they dived straight into a crowd favourite ‘Dial Drunk’. Now I won’t be the only person in that room hoping for a surprise appearance from Post Malone but even without the tattooed American hunk it was the performance to get the evening going.

  • Justin Timberlake at Co-op Live, Manchester – the Prince of Pop’s still got it
  • Sophie Ellis-Bextor spotted filming a new video in Stockport town centre

Not only an incredible lyrisct, a lot needs to be said for Kahan’s vocals because wow can that man sing. What was even more impressive was his ability to take on a such a huge venue but make the show feel so intimate, the sea of fans hanging on to every vulnerable lyric.

paramore tour uk support

The Vermont-born singer-songwriter made his way through more popular songs, next with ‘New Perspective’ and ‘Everywhere, everything’ which I’ll be honest with is when the tears started for me. Fans were then pleasantly surprised by a performance of one of the singer’s original songs, ‘False Confidence’ and seemed equally surprised by how many people were his day ones.

After a few emotional acoustic moments and a lot more bangers, 21 songs in total which was a real treat, Noah teased us all with an abrupt ending before springing back on stage for ‘The View Between Villages’ and of course the viral sensation ‘Stick Season’.

And with that, a few tears and a lot of confetti the evening came to an end and I can’t imagine anyone could have a bad word to say about the evening. As someone who has been a fan of Noah Kahan for years it’s amazing to see someone with such genuine talent climb so quickly to the top and I can’t wait to see what he does next.

As we left the arena, Chappell Roan’s ‘HOT TO GO!’ blasted out getting everyone doing our generations version of the ‘YMCA’ ending the night on a high. Nice touch Co-Op Live.

What time will Taylor Swift come on stage at London’s Wembley stadium and what time does her Eras tour finish?

Everything you need to know to plan your Eras tour game-plan ahead of Taylor’s August return to the capital

Annie McNamee

London Swifties, your time has finally come. You bought tickets more than a year ago. You watched as everyone else got their moment in June. For all of us lucky enough to be heading to Wembley this weekend it has been a long, long time coming, but our wait is nearly complete. Swift’s August Eras tour shows in London kicked off on Thursday August 15.

Obviously, one does not simply show up at the Eras Tour. It’s a night out which requires meticulous planning of outfits, friendship bracelets, and teaching friends how to do all the chants. You need to know what to expect well in advance of Taylor even stepping onstage, and that’s where we’ve got you covered. We’ve put together an ultimate guide with all the info you could possibly want to know.

RECOMMENDED: 👚  How to buy official Taylor Swift merch in London for her Eras tour 🚇   How to get to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium 🎒   Full list of banned items and the bag policy at Wembley Stadium 🥳  All the Taylor Swift events and parties happening in London for the Eras Tour 🎤   Taylor Swift’s setlist at London’s Wembley Stadium .

Here are all the essential timings you’ll want to be aware of ahead of her whopping five concerts over the next week – including specifically when Taylor will take to the stage each night.

Dates for Taylor Swift at London’s Wembley Stadium

Taylor is no stranger to Wembley. Not only did she play two nights there during the 2018 Reputation tour, and she already performed (just under) half of the London Eras tour dates back in June. With a grand total of eight sold-out nights at the stadium, she’s officially broken the venue’s record for most shows from a single tour.

This week, she’ll perform five times across six days, starting on Thursday. There’s a break on Sunday, where Wembley will take a breather before passing back to Taylor.

The singer will play at Wembley on August 15 , 16 , 17 , 19 and 20 , with the final show closing out the European leg of the Eras tour.

Who are all the support acts?

A few weeks ago , Taylor announced on Instagram that on top of Paramore, who have been supporting her across Europe, she’d be joined by an extra artist every single show. Basically, you’ll get three concerts for the price of one. What a bargain.

As well as Paramore, the new support who will play one show each are, RAYE, Suki Waterhouse, Maisie Peters, Sofia Isella and Holly Humberstone.

You can find out more about all the support acts here .

Eras Tour start times

The show will begin at slightly different times across the five different dates. Generally, Taylor comes onstage between 6.30pm  and 7.30pm , so it’s worth ensuring you are seated/standing earlier than that. If you want merch you can go earlier in the day to buy it, or you can just arrive as soon as doors open and wait in the likely very long queue. Pick your poison.

On the first night (Thursday August 15) Taylor came on at 6.40pm – so bear in mind that these London shows may see her starting on the earlier side!

Here are the start times (and supports) for each day.

Thursday August 15 (Paramore and Sophie Isella)

Early Entry doors: 3.30pm General Admission and Hospitality: 4pm Show Start: 4.55pm

Friday August 16 (Paramore and Holly Humberstone)

Early Entry doors: 3.45pm General Admission & Hospitality: 4.15pm Show Start: 5.10pm

Saturday August 17 (Paramore and Suki Waterhouse)

Early Entry doors: 3.45pm General Admission & Hospitality: 4.15pm Show Start: 5.10pm

Monday August 19 (Paramore and Maisie Peters)

Early Entry doors: 3.30pm General Admission & Hospitality: 4pm Show Start: 4.55pm

Tuesday August 20 (Paramore and RAYE)

Early Entry doors: 3.30pm General Admission & Hospitality: 4pm Show Start: 4.55pm

You can find out more about each support act here .

W hat time will Taylor come on stage?

Concerts are not an exact science. As we say, Taylor has come out at different times throughout the tour, but usually in the UK she began her set around 7.20pm , but there is a small chance this will change for these London dates. In short,  arrive in plenty of time in order to ensure you see the mega opening number. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing that countdown appear onscreen – you definitely don't want to miss a moment of it.

RECOMMENDED:  🇬🇧 Is it safe to travel to Wembley for Taylor Swift’s August shows in London? 🎤  Taylor Swift in the UK: Eras Tour timings, setlist and everything you need to know . 🏟️ Best seats, capacity and seating plan for Taylor Swift at Wembley .

What time does the concert end?

Taylor likes to keep us on our toes. Some of her shows have lasted as long as 3hrs 45mins, but generally they’re about 3hrs 15mins, so depending on when the set begins, you’ll be looking at roughly a 10.45pm – 11pm wrap up time.

Pro-tip – if you’re willing to evacuate as the crew are doing their final goodbyes as ‘Karma’ ends, you can miss a lot of the dreaded post-Wembley rush. If you’re determined not to miss a single second, we understand, but for those who want to be in bed before midnight, we recommend leaving as soon as Taylor finishes singing and begins saying goodbye.

Tickets and prices

Sorry to be bearer of bad news, but tickets sold out way back in 2023 in just a few hours. They began at £59, and went all the way up to £662.40 per person for the top-tier ‘it’s been a long time coming’ VIP package. Some people are really, really dedicated to the Eras tour grind, we suppose.

If you’re in the market for a last minute ticket, your best bet is just refreshing Ticketmaster as often as you can for resale tickets, or asking around in case anyone you know isn’t able to go anymore. We wish you luck on your quest.

The setlist has been on quite the journey since the tour began last March (yes, March ). It’s had songs added, then, much to the horror of Swifties everywhere, cut, and then an entire section was put in when the Tortured Poet’s Department came out. This is what the setlist tends to look like these days, including two surprise songs which change each day.

  • Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince
  • Cruel Summer
  • You Need to Calm Down
  • You Belong With Me
  • We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
  • I Knew You Were Trouble
  • All Too Well (10-minute version)
  • … Ready For It?
  • Don’t Blame Me
  • Look What You Made Me Do

Folklore/Evermore (now combined into one Era)

  • champagne problems
  • illicit affairs
  • my tears ricochet
  • Blank Space
  • Shake It Off
  • Wildest Dreams

The Tortured Poets Department (new!)

  • But Daddy I Love Him
  • So High School
  • Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?
  • The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
  • I Can Do It With A Broken Heart

Two surprise songs

  • Lavender Haze
  • Midnight Rain
  • Vigilante Shit

And these are the songs that have been removed:

  • The Archer (from Lover era)
  • Long Live (from Speak Now era)
  • the 1 (from folklore era)
  • the last great american dynasty (from folklore era)
  • ’tis the damn season (from evermore era)
  • tolerate it (from evermore era)

How to get there

The nearest tube stop is Wembley Park, which is on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, though Wembley is also served by Wembley Central (on the Overground and Bakerloo) and Wembley Stadium is a rail station with services direct to Marylebone.

You can find a full guide to how to get to Wembley, including car, coach and other options, here .

Reviews so far

For the first night (August 15), Taylor received dazzling reviews. The  Telegraph ’s Anita Singh awarded the show a full five stars with the headline: ‘Sweet, wholesome and heartfelt – the world needs this show right now’.

In other words, business as usual for Taylor! Her June shows at Wembley also received rave reviews from the likes of the  Guardian and  New Statesman .

Taylor Swift adds additional shows to the Eras Tour, announces Paramore as support

paramore tour uk support

Ahead of possibly the most anticipated ticket sale of the year (get sharpening those elbows ahead of general sale kicking off on July 19!) Taylor Swift has announced a whole host of extra UK and European dates for her Eras Tour, including additional shows in Edinburgh , Liverpool , Cardiff , Dublin and London .

The multi-award winning singer, 33, has been performing hit tracks from her back catalogue to sold-out stadiums filled with adoring fans across the US since March, and the Eras tour crosses the Atlantic in 2024.

Swift announced a first batch of international dates back in June, but has now confirmed fourteen additional shows due to the phenomenal demand for her Eras Tour. Warsaw, Vienna, Stockholm and Milan are among the cities getting extra Tay-Tay.

The sad news is that these additional dates officially rule Taylor Swift out of an appearance at Glastonbury 2024, with her diary looking far too full to fit in a visit to Worthy Farm.

The singer tweeted on July 5 confirming the full rundown of additional dates, as well as announcing her special guest and support act Paramore .

Swift said: “Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!!”

She added: “Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

The UK and Ireland leg of the tour will start in Edinburgh with three shows at Murrayfield Stadium on June 7, 8 and 9 2024 before she heads to Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium for three shows on June 13, 14 and 15.

The singer will perform one night in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 18 followed by her first three dates at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 21, 22 and 23.

She will then play dates in Dublin, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria before returning to Wembley to close the international dates with three shows on August 15, 16 and 17.

The international tour dates will kick off in Mexico on August 24 2023 in Mexico City.

Swift will then move to Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Singapore, France, Sweden, Portugal and Spain throughout the end of 2023 and start of 2024 before she gets to the UK.

Joining her international leg will be special guest Sabrina Carpenter , a singer and actress with credits in Tall Girl, Work It and The Hate U Give.

For her US dates she is revolving a number of artists to open for her including indie singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers, Paramore, beabadoobee, girl in red, Muna, HAIM, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn.

Swift recently broken a string of records with her tenth studio album Midnights, which became Spotify’s most streamed album in a single day.

It claimed the biggest first week of UK album sales in 2022 since Adele’s 30 was released in November 2021 and took the title of the most streamed album of the year in its opening week with 72.5 million streams across the seven days.

The record follows after her previous eight UK chart-topping albums, all achieved consecutively: 2012’s Red, 2014 release 1989, 2017’s Reputation, 2019’s Lover, 2020’s Folklore, 2020’s Evermore and re-recordings Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version), both released in 2021.

Taylor Swift returns to UK for first live shows since foiled terror plot

Fans of superstar Taylor Swift have been coming together to support those who had tickets for the cancelled sell-out shows in Austria - with many offering up their own for the Wembley gigs in London.

Fans arrive at Wembley

Taylor Swift returns to Wembley this evening for her first live performance since shows in Austria were called off, after an alleged planned terrorist attack was foiled.

Swift has already played three dates at the England football stadium as part of her record-breaking Eras gigs, and is now back for five more - the last of which will mark the end of the tour's European leg.

Her first London shows were among the most memorable of the tour, with the star bringing out her American football player boyfriend Travis Kelce for a surprise appearance on stage during one.

As always, there is huge excitement among Swifties lucky enough to get tickets this time round. Those fans in the standing area will be queuing up early to potentially secure a front-row spot and no doubt swapping friendship bracelets and bonding over their shared love of the star.

But it has been a difficult few weeks.

In July, three young girls died following a stabbing at a dance class inspired by her music in Southport, Merseyside.

Following the attack, Swift said in a post on Instagram that she was "completely in shock" and "at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families".

Just days later, all three of Swift's shows in Vienna, due to take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday last week, were cancelled over a suspected terrorist plot .

Fans of the superstar have been coming together to support those who had tickets for the sell-out shows in Austria - with many offering up their own.

Catherine Santamaria, 47, from Buckinghamshire, was due to attend a Vienna show with her 14-year-old daughter, Carla. After hearing about the cancellation, they decided to continue with their trip to the city to "make the best of it" and meet other fans.

"We were obviously quite sad when we arrived but we started looking online and saw Swifties were gathering in central Vienna," Ms Santamaria said. "It was just the sweetest atmosphere, everybody was exchanging friendship bracelets, singing and doing their best to get over being heartbroken."

The pair have since managed to secure tickets to Monday's concert at Wembley thanks to a fellow Swiftie.

Ms Santamaria wrote about their situation on an online fan group, and received a message from a woman in America who was offering to sell her tickets.

"She sold them to me at face value, which is just unheard of," she said. "What's lovely about the Swiftie community is just how devoted they all are and they're so generous. We wouldn't be going it if wasn't for this other Swiftie."

Cristina Jones, creator of the viral Swifties for Southport JustGiving page, told the PA news agency how she has given her Wembley ticket away for free to a fan who had been set to see the star in Vienna.

Ms Jones, 29, said: "I thought it was just nice to give it away to someone who couldn't go simply because Vienna was cancelled for the right reason," she said. "It was nice to be able to see that someone who hasn't been able to go to The Eras Tour is now able to go."

She said she set up an online giveaway process to offer her ticket to one lucky fan.

"She was really excited, until I sent the ticket I don't think she realised it was going to be real," Ms Jones said.

Security reassurances

Wembley officials have put out a reminder about security ahead of the gigs, but a spokesperson for the stadium told Sky News they are the same measures that were in place for the previous shows in June.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said there is "nothing to indicate that the matters being investigated by the Austrian authorities will have an impact on upcoming events here in London".

After Swift's last show at Wembley on Tuesday 20 August, the mammoth Eras tour then takes a break. The final shows take place in Canada, resuming in Toronto in November and finishing in Vancouver the following month.

The Eras Tour is the biggest-selling of all time, with more than $1bn (£780m) in ticket sales in 2023, according to Pollstar Boxoffice, which collects data on the live music industry. By the end of this year, that figure is expected to rise to more than $2bn.

Have Paramore made changes to their Eras Tour setlist?

As we've mentioned above, Paramore's original Eras Tour setlist in Glendale was slightly different to their Paris setlist. As for which songs they cut from Glendale, 'Decode', 'Rose-Colored Boy' and 'Misery Business' have been switched out in favour of 'Burning Down the House', 'Caught in the Middle' and the new surprise song segment.

Originally, 'That's What You Get' was part of the European setlist. However, Paramore replaced it with 'Misery Business' in Stockholm at Taylor's request. Track 4 has also changed from 'Caught in the Middle' to 'That's What You Get' and, most recently, 'Forgiveness'.

Paramore's setlist for Taylor Swift's Eras tour 2024 in full

paramore tour uk support

Paramore's setlist for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is insanely good, though to be honest we'd expect nothing less from Hayley Williams and the gang.

The American rock band responsible for classics such as Misery Business and Still Into You will join Taylor Swift for all of her European shows on The Eras Tour this summer 2024, with them having opened for her yesterday (9 May) at the tour's first date in Paris’ La Defense Arena.

At the opening night of her European tour, Swift also debuted a revised setlist featuring a whopping 46 songs spanning her impressive 18-year career. This picks up from her original Eras Tour setlist she toured with previously in order to slot in some of her newest hits from The Tortured Poets Department, with added songs including new favourites such as The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived and But Daddy, I Love Him .

But fans who managed to secure tickets to the highly coveted European leg of the 2024 Eras tour will not only be treated this stellar lineup of Taylor Swift's best and biggest hits, but they'll also get to enjoy nine quintessential Paramore songs beforehand too.

In addition to supporting Tay Tay on her Europe Eras tour, the band also opened for the hitmaker's first two shows in Glendale, Arizona, though vitally their setlist has since been changed.

So what will the Paramore setlist for the European Eras Tour shows look like and how long do they play for? Here's exactly what you can expect.

Swifties have some thoughts.

How long is Paramore's Eras Tour setlist?

Comprised of nine songs with a runtime of 40 minutes, Paramore's setlist is made up of their best loved hits, new and old. While the length of the setlist is the same as their Glendale dates, three songs have been swapped from the original set.

Including hits from every Paramore album bar their debut All We Know Is Falling, fan favourites such as Brick By Boring Brick feature alongside newer songs like This Is Why , in addition to a couple of covers.

  • Caught in the Middle
  • Brick By Boring Brick

Does Taylor Swift sing with Hayley Williams on The Eras Tour?

While Hayley Williams didn't join Taylor on stage for the opening night of The Eras Tour in Paris, given that we have a good few dates left to go on the European tour we remain hopeful. In our humble opinion it would make sense for the pair to perform their Castles Crumbling duet together for future shows, so let's see!

We've been loving Taylor for quite some time, time, time.

Here’s How To Get Tickets For Paramore’s UK & Ireland Tour

This is why you should leave the house.

Paramore in 2022, image provided to press by Atlantic Records

The wait is finally over. After five long years, Paramore has announced they’re touring the UK & Ireland to celebrate the release of their upcoming sixth album This Is Why . Kicking off in April, Hayley Williams and co. will be joined by beloved indie-rockers Bloc Party on the special leg of their tour, having previously pointed to the band as a huge influence on their new record.

“From day one, Bloc Party was the number one reference because there was such an urgency to their sound that was different to the fast punk or the pop punk, or the like, loud wall of sound emo bands that were happening in the early 2000s,” vocalist Williams said on her BBC Sounds Everything Is Emo podcast over the summer.

The tour takes place a couple of months after This Is Why ’s release, on Feb. 10, 2023. Paramore will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Support + Feed , an organisation which works to combat food inequality around the world. They’re also teaming up with the eco non-profit REVERB for “a comprehensive tour sustainability programme,” and will be hosting an “eco-village” at each tour stop to educate punters about important environmental and social causes.

Fancy rocking out to Paramore hits, both old and new? Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the big sale.

Where is Paramore Touring?

The band will play the following dates in the UK, heading over to our shores from their previous date in Dublin, Ireland. Eagle-eyed fans will note there’s also a convenient gap surrounding their London date at The O2, and it wouldn’t be surprising if additional dates get added in here later on if demand is as high as expected.

13 April – 3Arena, Dublin, Ireland

15 April – International Arena, Cardiff, Wales

17 April – OVO Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland

18 April – AO Arena, Manchester

20 April – The O2, London

22 April – Utilita Arena, Birmingham

When Can I Buy Paramore Tickets?

The general sale for Paramore’s upcoming UK tour takes place on Friday Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. The band last toured over here following the release of 2017’s After Laughter, and bagging tickets for their long-awaited return is likely to require a fair bit of luck.

That said, you can increase your chances by keeping an eye on Paramore’s various pre-sales. UK-based fans can gain access to a special pre-sale for fans in a couple of ways, but the cut-off point is at 2pm on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Up until then, fans will be eligible for an access code in two ways: either signing up to the band’s official newsletter, or by ordering This Is Why from the band’s online store. The resulting fan pre-sale will take place at 10am, Wednesday Oct. 26, and the code is valid for up to four tickets.

Mobile networks O2 and Three will both be hosting their own pre-sales at the same time for customers, and the following day, on Thursday Oct. 27, there will be a Gigs in Scotland presale at 10 a.m. for the Glasgow date only.

Tickets will go on sale via Gigs and Tours and Ticketmaster.

Recent tour reviews

This is the third time I've seen this wonderful band but the first time I've actually paid to see them exclusively. The other two were at festivals.

What you see with Hayley Williams and her merry crew is what you get. A powerful, energetic, sometimes outrageous performance. The music they wrote in their first three albums contributes heavily to this. They made lively punk-pop music and their shows reflect that.

But something changed this time around. Paramore's most recent piece of work, After Laughter, completely changes direction from what they're historically used to providing. While it's a solid album in its own right, it doesn't blend well with the old stuff.

So the group has made a similar switch in their live shows. Two songs from RIOT!, one from Brand New Eyes, nothing from All We Know Is Falling in the setlist. After Laughter was played almost in its entirety, turning this more into a pop concert than a punk one.

Don't get me wrong, Hayley and crew still provide a great night of entertainment and their audiences are equally as explosive. It's just now expectations need to be managed accordingly. For some, this is the end of the line. For me? I'm not sure. But if you come looking for one of the best rock acts on the planet, you may leave feeling a little disappointed.

Absolutely amazing. I was standing and I was very close to the front. The whole stage presence of the band was incredible and Hayley Williams especially connected so well with the audience. I was looking foward to this show since September, and God was it worth the wait. I’ve seen a lot of bands in my life, but they are right up there with the likes of Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi and Guns n Roses. If all the concerts I’ve been to, this just might be my favourite yet.

And when Hayley chose someone from the crowd to come up on stage and sing Misery Buisness I was jumping as high as I could shouting “ Pick me, pick me!”. Although I was not picked, it didn’t matter, it was still in my eyes, the best band I’ve seen yet. Unfortunately I’m only 15 but if I could drive, I would’ve booked tickets for another show that same night.

Being able to jump and sing to songs like Still into You, Misery Buisness, Ignorance and That’s what you Get was an experience I could not have imagined to be any better. Thank you for an amazing show Paramore. I’ll see you next time

Thanks for the Memories BECAUSE THEY WERE SO GREAT | Monumentour 2014:

On August the 2nd, 2014, with a full bladder and a happy heart I arrived at the Austin360 amphitheater to live out a dream – See Fall Out Boy perform live.

After a brief visit to a way-too-hot Port O Potty and a little loss of dignity, that dream was well on its way to becoming true.

I’m sad to say that I missed the opening band (New Politics). I’m going to go ahead and put the blame for that one on my mom. She’s perpetually late to everything. And yes, that’s right ladies and gents, I do indeed go to concerts with my mom. She can hang 10x better than most people I know and we have virtually the same taste in music. Anyways, after finding our seats (because this was a seated venue which, *annoyed sigh*, we’ll get into another time) it was time for the second band to take the stage. And let me tell you, they made themselves known by firing confetti guns that nearly gave me a heart attack. FOUR TIMES. FOUR MINI HEART ATTACKS. I suppose I should probably tell you that the confetti firing band was Paramore. Maybe you’ve heard of them? Oh, who am I kidding? Everyone knows Paramore, and for good reason.

They’re music is totally energetic and now I can vouch that their performances are too. From the synchronized head banging during Misery Business to the cheesy “we’re all a family” speech, there wasn’t one boring moment during their set. They played both older and newer songs, keeping up the energy and excitement the whole time. Hayley and the boys are so cute when they interact. I have this fantasy that they eat pizza rolls and watch The Simpsons together when they’re not touring. Also, my crush on bassist, Jeremy Davis, only increased when I saw his dance moves. AND THE TATTOOS. MY GOODNESS.

Next up was a music video interlude which I am totally all for. Then, we all went home. JUST KIDDING. After the music videos, the stage lights were dimmed, a creepy voice started talking about fears, and from the center of the platform, four glorious human beings arose. Fall Out Boy started their performance by playing The Phoenix and from there played incredible song after incredible song (because that’s the only kind of song they write). They even did a Queen cover at one point and that is always okay in my book.

I have a lot of feelings about this band. I’ve been a fan since the days of guyliner (ehem, Pete) and novels-for-song titles. On one hand, they make me feel totally hardcore because of their bangin music but on the other hand, I feel like a gigantic puddle of fangirl because they’re all really adorable. I mean, at a certain angle, Joe looks like Patrick Dempsey circa Can’t Buy Me Love, and then you’ve got the precious teddy bear on drums. Andy wore a stoic, almost grumpy, face of concentration for most of the show only to smile and melt my heart at the end.

Next you have the ball of cheese that is Pete. He did most of the talking throughout the performance and the lil’ cutie spewed cliché after cliché about following your dreams and “choosing your own fucking happiness” and it was glorious.

Do I even need to explain Patrick’s preciousness? I swear, he and Johnny Depp are the only two people in the world who can work a fedora. I just want to hug him and cuddle him and kiss him gently on the forehead AND THEN HE HAD TO GO AND DO A THING LIKE BREAK OUT HIS DRUM SKILLS. Hot damn. He and Andy did an incredible drum sesh/ mash up thing with Jay Z’s 99 Problems. Super cool.

Overall, Fall Out Boy performed so well. I’m just sad I haven’t seen them perform live sooner. They seem like amazing people and they deserve every single fan that filled up the crowd.

Swifties will be let into Wembley Stadium a bit earlier than usual for Taylor Swift ‘s upcoming Eras Tour shows in London. According to the venue , early entry for Thursday’s (August 15) kick-off of the five-night stand will begin at 3:30 local time, with general admission beginning at 4 p.m. and the show starting at 4:55; both entry times have been pushed up by 15 minutes, leading to reports in the English press that Swift may take the stage earlier than her typical 7:25 start time as well.

The sold-out five-night stay that will wrap up Swift’s European Eras Tour European swing will unfold a week after officials in Vienna foiled what they said was a terror plot aimed at disrupting the singer’s global outing during what was a planned three-night run at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium on August 8-10. So far, two arrests have been made in the incident, including the as-yet-unnamed 19-year-old main suspect, who reportedly pledged allegiance to the Islamic State terror group and admitted to the plot he said would have involved the use of home made explosives and knives to attack fans outside the stadium; another teenager has also been taken into custody in the incident and a third was detained as well.

Undeterred by the plot in which the 19-year-old said he hoped to kill as many people as possible, Swifties gathered in the streets of Vienna to sing her songs and get engaged after the shows were called off. A day after the arrests, officials in London assured fans that the cancelled Vienna shows would not impact the UK gigs.

Wembley also noted that because the venue is situated in a residential area, organizers have asked that only Swifties with tickets or those visiting the merch megastores visit to avoid disruption to local businesses and residents. “To support with the safe entry and exit of everyone within the stadium, no one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium. Non ticket holders will be moved on,” the venue noted.

Taylor Swift's support band forced to stop show due to medical incident

The crowd fell silent after Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams halted her performance with her band to check up on a fan who needed medical attention

Taylor Swift and Hayley Williams

  • 09:33, 18 Aug 2024

Taylor Swift’s support act had to halt their performance due to a medical emergency.

During Taylor Swift 's third Wembley Stadium show on Saturday, the American rock band Paramore had to suddenly stop their performance after noticing a fan urgently needing medical help. Thousands of Taylor Swift fans gathered in the capital to see the 34-year-old singer perform on her Eras Tour. The US singer took the stage for the third night of her August run in London on Saturday, August 17.

While performing The Only Exception, Hayley Williams noticed a fan in need of medical help and told her band, "We need to pause." Addressing the crowd, Hayley then said: "Is everyone okay?" The packed stadium fell silent as security assisted the fan. Speaking to the audience again, the 35-year-old singer said: "Sorry, let’s make sure they’re alright before we pick up where we left off."

Breaking the tension, Hayley joked: "Wow, it’s pretty quiet in here now, Wembley." Born in Meridian, Mississippi, Hayley is the lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and front-woman of Paramore.

Hayley delighted the crowd by dedicating a song to Robert Pattinson, calling him “Mr. Waterhouse,” and adding a light-hearted reference to his role in the Twilight series.

"I would like to dedicate this next song to Mr. Waterhouse," Hayley can be seen saying in a video from the concert posted on X. "He has the skin of a killer, Bella. It’s for you, Robert."

Earlier this month Taylor Swift was left devastated after being forced to cancel the Vienna leg of her record-breaking Eras tour following an alleged plot to attack her scheduled concert in the Austrian capital.

Swift was said to have been left "horrified" at the thought of the terror attack being successful after the tragedy of Ariana Grande's devastating Manchester gig back in 2017. She has also issued a promise to her team as she is conscious about her "disappointed" fans.

A source told The Mirror : "Taylor has been devastated by this. She is devastated for the fans who have been waiting for years to see her. But the thought of what could have happened if the concerts had been targeted by a terror attack is horrifying, and she would never risk the safety of her fans.

"The memory of what happened at Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester is still very vivid in everyone's minds. But she has told her team that she wants to try to return to Vienna as soon as possible in the future. She is very conscious of how disappointed her fans in Austria are."

“It won’t be long”: Paramore are teasing a UK tour

Hayley Williams has revealed that Paramore are already planning a UK tour, and we cannot wait!

“It won’t be long”: Paramore are teasing a UK tour

Paramore are back and the news just doesn't stop coming!

Fresh off the big reveal of their comeback single This Is Why and new album announcement , vocalist Hayley Williams was chatting to BBC Radio 1 about plans to return to the UK.

And in a comment that has sent British Paramore fans into a frenzy, she replied, "Oh, it won’t be long..."

Hayley continued, “We talked about the UK more than we’ve ever talked about it while making this record. We were like really digging up our oldest influences that are from across The Pond.

“And we were like… every time I would imagine or envision playing a show it was, you know, some festival in the UK or some crowd that we played for in Manchester or something.”

Paramore will make their live return on Sunday at the Mechanics Bank Theater in Bakersfield, California – their first gig since 2018.

“We just have such a cool relationship with our fans around the world, but there is something really special about the UK, and the lineage of bands that are from there," said Hayley. "I can’t wait – it won’t be long.

"We already have the plan and I can't wait for people to find out who we're playing with and what we're gonna do..."

In the meantime, however, you can catch Paramore at one of the North American dates below.
