People that have booked this tour have also searched for the following:

Day 1 : Fly To Belfast

Location: belfast.

Following your flight to Belfast, meet your tour manager and board the coach for the short transfer into the city and to your hotel. You'll then have the rest of the day free to get your bearings and begin to soak up the atmosphere of what a city fast shaking off its past reputation and embracing the bright new future reflected in its youthful outlook and vibrant redevelopments. Your tour manager will be on hand to point you in the right direction throughout your stay.

Day 2 : Included Titanic Belfast Visit And Guided City Tour

After breakfast, you'll visit Titanic Belfast, which stands on the site where RMS Titanic was constructed over a century ago. Developed as much as a tribute to the days of shipbuilding in the city as in commemoration of the ill-fated liner that met her untimely end on her Maiden Voyage in 1912, Titanic Belfast is a dramatic, innovative and exciting presentation of the real story of the famous ship. Wander through its nine fascinating galleries, housed in one of the most eye-catching buildings to have been built in the UK for years. The ship's conception, construction, tragic sinking and its aftermath, as well as its rediscovery in 1985, are brought vividly to life with audio-visual presentations, life-size reconstructions, interactive features and even a Shipyard Ride. You'll leave the exhibition with a real sense of the enormity - and the human cost - of one of the 20th-century's most fateful events. After a fascinating morning and the opportunity to enjoy lunch (payable locally) this afternoon's guided tour of Belfast will reveal the city's turbulent past, thriving present and hopes for the future. Highlights will include major landmarks such as City Hall, Queen's and Stormont Castle - seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly and a stunning sight gradually revealed from the rising approach road. During the tour you'll also see West Belfast's celebrated Peace Wall, the political murals of the Shankhill and Falls roads, and the ultra-modern developments of the regenerated docks area, crowned by the breathtaking Titanic Quarter. The rest of the day and evening is left free. Why not soak up the local atmosphere in one of the city centre's traditional pubs?

Day 3 : Optional Giant's Causeway Tour

Today you're free to enjoy the delights of Belfast under your own steam, although many will take the opportunity to join our optional excursion to the breathtakingly scenic Antrim Coast, where the Nine Glens lead to the sea and to the world-famous Giant's Causeway. This astonishing collection of closely-packed basalt columns, and acting as stepping-stones into the Atlantic from beneath the wild, windswept cliffs, is a remarkable sight. In fact formed 60-million years ago by a volcanic explosion, the stories of the Causeway's origin - it's said to have been built by the Irish hero and giant Finn MacCool so that he could cross to Scotland and do battle with a rival Scottish giant – are much more interesting to non-geologists. Although there is typically a minibus to take visitors to the Causeway from the visitor centre (payable locally), the energetic can walk the mile or so along the cliff path to be rewarded with some breathtaking views. Your journey back to the hotel takes you along the Causeway Coastal Road, past more spectacular views. Highlights of the wonderfully scenic drive will include bustling Ballycastle at the entrance to the two northernmost glens - Glentaisie and Glenshesk, Carnlough with its picturesque harbour and a drive through the colour-washed village of Glenarm and stunning Glenariff – the Queen of the Glens. This evening you're once again free to enjoy Belfast's lively nightlife and wide range of restaurants.

Day 4 : Included Visit To Crumlin Road Gaol

Location: crumlin road.

This morning, join your tour manager for a fascinating included visit to the infamous former prison Crumlin Road Gaol (also known as HMP Belfast), Northern Ireland’s last surviving Victorian-era prison.  Here you’ll enjoy an engaging tour of the site and learn about its interesting – and chequered – past.  Built in the mid-19th century,  the prison has witnessed several escape attempts (both successful and unsuccessful), sustained bomb damage during World War Two and housed several well-known inmates, including suffragettes Dorothy Evans and Madge Muir, and former IRA member Martin McGuinness. Seventeen prisoners were given death sentences, the majority of whom were executed in the prison’s execution chamber. The last execution took place here in 1961 and the prison closed in 1996.   After the tour, enjoy a well-earned (and included) high tea at the Gaol, consisting of a freshly-baked scone with cream and jam, accompanied by a tea or a coffee. This afternoon, enjoy some time at leisure in Belfast, perhaps exploring under your own steam, or simply watching the world go by from one of the city centre’s many pubs, bars and restaurants.

Day 5 : Fly Back To Your Local Airport

Depending on the time of your flight, you'll have time to spend a final few hours in the city before returning to the airport at the end of a wonderful few days.

What's Included

Four nights' bed and buffet breakfast accommodation at your chosen hotel

Travelling to Europe after Brexit

New rules apply when travelling to European Union countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The following are useful guidelines which will help you prepare for your next adventure. Note that these new rules do NOT apply when travelling within the United Kingdom or to the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or the Republic of Ireland. You do require government issued ID when travelling by air though. Passport - British passport holders need to have at least six months validity left on their passport and it needs to be less than ten years old; passports which have a longer validity than ten years are not valid for travel once the tenth anniversary of issue has passed. These rules do not apply to travel to Ireland where you can continue to use your passport as long as it’s valid for the length of your stay. Visa - If you’re a tourist, you do not need a visa for short trips to most EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. You’ll be able to stay for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. Different rules will apply to Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus and Romania; if you visit these countries, visits to other EU countries will not count towards the 90-day total. Travel to Ireland will not change and stays there will not count towards the 90-day total. European Travel Information & Authorisation System (ETIAS) - Towards the end of 2022, it is likely that non EU citizens will be required to apply online for an authorisation to visit most European countries. The current details suggest there will be a charge of €7 per person and the authorisation will be valid for all trips made to the EU in a three year period from issue. We will advise you of confirmed details prior to your tour’s departure. Border Control - At border control, you may need to show proof of your return journey - your travel documentation issued by us will be sufficient for this. You will also need to use separate lanes from EU, EEA and Swiss citizens if manual checks are required. Healthcare Cover - You should always get appropriate travel insurance with healthcare cover before you go abroad which covers pre-existing conditions. You should understand the terms and conditions of your travel insurance and be happy with its cover for healthcare and travel disruption. Newmarket sell a comprehensive travel insurance policy. Ask our travel consultants for more information. You should also apply for a UK Global Heath Insurance Card (GHIC) which lets you get urgent state healthcare in Europe at a reduced cost or sometimes for free. Note GHIC is only valid in EU countries and not in Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Mobile Roaming - Roaming charges have been re-introduced by some UK providers when visiting the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Prior to travel, please do check with your phone operator for the most up to date information.

Help is at hand at newmarket holidays.

I tried to book myself on line for an Andre Rieu concert in Vienna but I didn’t manage to complete the booking. I rang the next day & spoke to Sharon who was very helpful. I am a 76 year old pensioner & not totally au fa with the internet. However, Sharon went through it step by step & I felt more confident. She completed the booking for me & said she would also send a paper copy.

Newmarket Holidays…top dollar!

Having booked late the service we received from Newmarket staff has been excellent - helpful, friendly, painstaking and above all going further than we could really expect to ensure our requests were all satisfied. We would like to particularly thank Naima for her attention to detail and perseverance in following up our queries. This is the first time we have tried NH but it wont be the last

This is the third holiday I have taken…

This is the third holiday I have taken with Newmarket Holidays. They made it easy to change from the Holiday I originally booked to one in the UK. The tour leader was excellent as was our driver, both of whom went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely holiday. There were difficulties at the hotel due to COVID but we were made very welcome and the staff went out of their way to help us. So I have no complaint about Newmarket's choice of hotel. I am a single traveller and normally do not like to travel in groups but the laidback atmosphere of Newmarket Holidays is fine.

Hurrah for Eddie and Simon, Newmarket's highlands duo!

Very happy time on an action packed trip to the Scottish highlands. Eddie as tour manager and Simon as driver. Eddie shared his passion for Scottish history and between them they treated us to many unscheduled cultural stops that enhanced our holiday. They went above and beyond all the time. Train trips were amazing and views unforgettable. Hotel was welcoming and food was good. Hot water aplenty for bath. We wanted to escape to another world for a few days and we truly did. THANK YOU. Chris and Caroline

Canada October 2021

We have returned from our long overdue trip to Canada Niagara Falls to the Rockies stating in Toronto and finishing in Vancouver. Well we happened to be the first trip back after the Coiid outbreak and it was so good to go. The company had made sure we were all safe and masks were worn where ever they had to be but this did not dampen the trip at all, the Tour directors ( guides ) were brilliant and we saw and did so much it was a fantastic trip which I would recommend to everyone, defiantly one for the bucket list.

What are travellers saying about tourhub.

Excellent tour company with quick service and support. We loved that there is 100% refund if you had to change anything as long as your within certain time limits. A very professional company with a huge selection of different tours and several dates to choose from.

The staff at TourHub were very responsive to all of my questions and more! They provided me with all the information I needed to book our trip in a very short period of time. I am very impressed with this company and looking forward to our tour in 2025!

I have never been much of a tour person, but this company offers so many options! I love the fact that they consolidate many options so that you have all the adventures in one location.

Customer service was prompt in responding to any questions I had, and offering suggestions on tour options. Looking forward to our adventure in September!

I love that each destination and hotel accommodation is listed. Makes planning or even deciding to take the trip so much easier. Each time I emailed a question, I got a response right away. So far, I'm very impressed and looking forward to the trip that we booked for next year.

I just heard about tourhub. What a fantastic collection of holidays. I booked a holiday to Morocco and had a few questions, for which I received prompt and useful responses. Would highly recommend

Had to contact Newmarket Holidays on Sunday after having difficulty accessing the Ryanair site to print our boarding passes. Thank you to Lisa for talking us through the problems and eventually being able to enter the correct site for our booking. Wish this process could be made simpler and less stressful. Once again, many thanks Lisa for your help in solving the problem. Much appreciated

Dear Mr Owens. Firstly, please accept our apologies for your recent cancelled tours, I can assure you this is never our intention. Secondly I would like to thank you for allowing us the chance to redeem our company's name. I'm sure your chosen trip to New England won't disappoint. Excellent service from Sian

We rang and spoke to Sian with reference to a tour to India's golden triangle and tiger safari. As luck would have it Sian had done the same tour in June this year. Her enthusiasm, detailed answers to all of our questions and all round knowledge was brilliant. We booked there and then. If the tour is as good as Sian was we are in for a fantastic holiday. Thank you Sian

Hi Sheena, Thank you for your 5* review regarding Sian's service, your feedback is really appreciated. If you have any further questions, please get in touch. I'll pass on your kind comments to Sian. Have an amazing time in India! Regards Graeme

It is very pleasing to hear a human…

It is very pleasing to hear a human voice rather than a robotic exchange of typed words. The agent Musa was very friendly and helpful with my query and put my mind at ease. It's good to know that Newmarket holidays are keeping up with the use of such staff well done Musa and Newmarket Paul Searle

Called Newmarket to ask about flight check-in

Called Newmarket to ask about process and timescale for getting travel tickets. I was helped by Musa who not only explained the complexities of the particular airline's check-in process but was friendly and approachable throughout. It turns out we must wait until 48 hours before departure to get our tickets. All thanks to Musa for assisting quickly and cheerfully.

Hi Karl, Thanks so much for your kind review. We are so happy that Musa gave you all the information you need. We hope you have a fabulous holiday! Shannon

Straight forward and clear website

Hi Helen, Many thanks for your review, It's always good to receive positive website feedback from our customers. Regards Graeme

Success finally

The 5 stars are for the help/patience received from Michael who finally managed to find my boarding cards and emailed them to me. I found the whole experience very frustrating trying to deal with Jet2 and I apologise to Michael for getting frustrated with him too. I notice from other reviews put on today that other customers were experiencing the same problems. Lesson learnt, in future I will book through a travel agent rather than direct with Newmarket and let them sort it out Thanks again Michael.

Hi Geraldine, Thank you for your honest review. We are sorry that the Jet2 website was not allowing you to get your boarding cards, but we are so happy our team could help you sort these out!! We hope you have a further smooth time on your trip, I am sure you will! Enjoy! Shannon

Dear Customers, Thank you for your kind review, I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to Neo. I'm sure the team will sort you query after the Bank Holiday. Regards Graeme

Edinburgh at Tattoo and Festival Time

Well, what a wonderful time we spent in Scotland with Irene, and Dave the coach driver, both so lovely, helpful and fun! The hotel was first class - the location, staff - oh and food!! were excellent. The included trip to the Edinburgh Tattoo was so well organised - and the Tattoo itself never failed to impress. We did not take any further excursions but decided to go it alone - using the public transport which was first class and enabled us to return so easily to Edinburgh to take in all the sights and enjoy the Edinburgh Fringe..... It was a great trip!

Date of experience : 12 August 2024

Hi Carol, Thank you for your 5* review. I'll be sure to pass on your comments to Irene & Dave. I'm glad the Tattoo met your expectations. Regards Graeme

Helpful customer service

Very helpful staff in helping to access my boarding card when the jet 2 site wouldn't recognise my flight reference number! Cheerful staff and sorted and checked in for me so all very good service. My very helpful member of staff was Bree - very cheerful and patient.

Hi Christine, thank you so much for your 5 star review and kind words. We really do appreciate it. Matt

The process of booking online wss good…

The process of booking online wss good up to the point whare it came to pay where it failed, presunably down to the fact it uses an off-site agency which was not available.it was redeemed by ringing and paying over the phone.

Hi Paul, Thank you for your feedback. Please accept our apologies regarding the payment issue you experienced, I'm pleased the sales team rectified this for you. Have an amazing time in Croatia. Regards Graeme

Phoned Newmarket with a baggage allowance query as the allowance stated in Newmarket info we received differed from the airline info when I logged into the airline booking. Michael said he would look into it and contact me within 24 to 48 hours. Michael replied with the information I required withing an hour. He was polite and helpful in our telephone conversations

Hi Val, thank you so much for your review and kind words about Michael. We really do appreciate it. Matt

Michael patiently listened and helped me log into Ryanair for my flight on 8 Sept. He guided me round Ryanair's website until I found the correct page, then instructed me how to enter the required data - and suddenly it was all solved. He also asked if I needed help with anything else. He couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you

Hi Sue, thank you so much for your 5 star review and kind words about Michael, we really do appreciate it. Matt

Newmarket Holidays Discount Code for the Best Holiday and Getaway Deals

Everyone loves a discount and sometimes there are Newmarket Holidays discount codes available on selected holidays or cruises. As you would expect discount codes are offered to help sell a particular tour or holiday. Newmarket Holidays like other travel companies also offers deals.

Generally if there are any discount coupons, voucher codes or offers they will be clearly advertised on the Newmarket Holidays website. After all they want you to use them and make a holiday reservation!

Newmarket Holidays Last Minute & Late Deal Offers

Like all holiday companies Newmarket Holidays generally don't sell every seat on every tour or every cabin on every ship during the busy booking period (post Christmas into January and February) So nearer the departure date unsold seats and cruise cabins may get reduced.

Again like most holiday firms Newmarket Holidays monitor their sales and make sure their holidays have sold enough places to make them affordable to run. This means that they don't have to sell any remaining places at ridiculously cheap prices.

However if you are flexible with your dates and holiday choice you can make savings by waiting to the last minute. There is no way to workout what the savings could be, if any. It's worth having a look from time to time to see how the late deal prices are going and what holidays tend to be available.

Newmarket Holiday Cancellations

Newmarket Holiday cancellations are not resold off at really cheap prices either. If someone has to cancel last minute they will have holiday cancellation charges. These may be covered by holidaymakers travel insurance if it is for medical reasons. Therefore Newmarket Holidays are not losing out on revenue so don't have to have a fire sale for holidaymakers cancellations. This is exactly the same position for all other holiday firms. You can always check to see what current offers are available on the Newmarket website.

Newmarket Holidays Brochures

You can order Newmarket holiday brochures however all the holiday and tours they offer are online. Not only will you find all the tour or holiday information but also availability, prices and details plus if there is a Newmarket holidays promo code or any holiday offers.

Accommodation

Newmarket holidays is offering up to 15% off all wish-list tours, including hand-picked favourites across the globe until thursday, 29 august 2024..

  • Day 1 Arrow up click to collapse day Arrow Up - Click to expand day Following your flight to Belfast, upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Newmarket representative and transferred to your hotel.
  • Day 2 Arrow up click to collapse day Arrow Up - Click to expand day After breakfast, join your tour manager for a guided tour of the city of Belfast, with its turbulent past, thriving present and hopes for the future, all brought to life. Highlights will include the major landmarks such as City Hall, Queen’s and Stormont Castle, the seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly, and a stunning sight gradually revealed from the rising approach road. During the tour, you’ll also see West Belfast’s celebrated Peace Wall, the political murals of the Shankhill and Falls roads, and the ultramodern developments of the regenerated docks area, crowned by the glittering, breathtaking Titanic Quarter. After a fascinating morning and the opportunity for lunch (payable locally), you’ll visit the Titanic Belfast, a wonderful visitor centre set on the site where RMS Titanic was constructed a century ago. Developed as much as a tribute to the days of shipbuilding in the city as well as in commemoration of the ill-fated liner that met her untimely end on her maiden voyage in 1912, the Titanic Belfast is a dramatic, innovative and exciting presentation of the real story of the famous ship. It’s housed in nine fascinating galleries in one of the most eye-catching buildings to have been built in the UK for years. Through the use of audiovisual presentation, life-size reconstructions, interactive features and even a ‘Shipyard Ride’, the ship’s conception, construction, tragic sinking and its aftermath, as well as its rediscovery in 1985, are brought vividly to life, and you’ll leave the exhibition with a real sense of the enormity as well as the human cost of one of the 20th century’s most fateful episodes. Enjoy the remainder of the day and evening at leisure, perhaps spent soaking up the atmosphere in one of the many traditional pubs in the city centre.
  • Day 3 Arrow up click to collapse day Arrow Up - Click to expand day Today you're free to enjoy the delights of Belfast under your own steam, although many will take the opportunity to join our optional excursion to the breathtakingly scenic Antrim Coast, where the Nine Glens lead to the sea and to the world-famous Giant's Causeway.
  • Day 4 Arrow up click to collapse day Arrow Up - Click to expand day Depending on the time of your flight, you'll have time to spend a final few hours in the city before returning to the airport at the end of a wonderful few days.
