Replacing a heater core.

The heater core is a component of a vehicle's heating and cooling system that is responsible for providing heat to the cabin on cold days, and is usually located under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. Essentially a small radiator, the heater core uses warm coolant from the engine to heat its fins while the blower motor moves air over the core, warming the air that enters the vehicle's cabin through the air vents. Over time, a heater core can become clogged or damaged, or may suffer from corrosion that can create pinholes and allow coolant to leak. Heater cores are often not convenient to replace, and will likely require extensive disassembly and removal of the dash to access the box where the heater core is installed. If you notice reduced heat output or no heat being generated at all, these could be signs of a blocked heater core. In some cases, a leaking heater core can also cause a sweet smell from the vents, coolant leaking into the cabin and on the floorboard, or puddles of coolant under the cabin of the vehicle from the evaporator drain hose. Flushing a heater core may clear a blockage, but a leaky heater core must be repaired or replaced. very satisfied so far, speedy service and customer friendly, This is my 3rd one in the past year, the last 2 were purchased from a Florida re-builder and both times they failed within 3 months. there prices were higher and there turn around time between 6 to 9 weeks.

A local shop wanted to charge me $4,500 to install a new TIPM, I removed mine and sent it in to Module Masters. They repaired it and had it back to me in a week and I was able to install it and get back on the road!
