Truck Camper Dry and Wet Weights

Truck camper base dry weights have been provided by the manufacturers.  Be aware that (a) each manufacturer has different standards and options that are included or excluded from their base dry weights, and (b) very few truck campers leave the factory without additional options.   Make sure to add the weight of additional options for your truck and camper matching calculations. 

The Truck Camper Magazine Buyers Guide uses a standardized equation to calculate truck camper wet weights. Starting with the manufacturers base dry weight, the equation adds the full fresh water weight, full hot water heater weight, full propane tank weight, battery weight, and 500 pounds for stuff.

2 Years of Fun 🤩

I have been an RVer my whole life and when I come across something that has great performance I want to share it with the community. We purchased our 2022 Rove Lite 14FD Off-Road to pull behind our 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 door. Not only did it perform better than expected it was a dream to pull. In my opinion the all aluminum frame is the only way to go especially in our salty climate where wood and steel are always under pressure. We have enjoyed it and traveled all over with it and of course done some mods Travel lite might want to incorporate 😉

Which include: shoe cubbies, extra trash door, led strip lighting, AC drip gutters and of course custom Blue lettering to match our Jeep 😁

I just got my new 2024 UpCountry 650U home from Wisconsin to KY. It was absolutely nothing like my 2016. They have really stepped it up. I love Travel Lite. I’m a disabled Verteran I love camping almost as much as Fishing. Travel Lite makes it Possible for me to tow my Bass Boat and have an unbelievable quarters that I can unload at the camp site. 2005 Travel Lite Mountain Star Truck Camper

This is a 2005 Travel Lite Mountain Star truck camper. The series/model number is 890SBRX. The camper weight is around 1,900lbs. It fits a 6 1/2 foot truck bed with the tailgate removed. It comes with a new 7 way mighty plug and Brophy tie downs. The camper has a larger sleeping area over the cab of the truck and the table folds down to sleep 2 other people. The camper is FULLY LOADED. A/C, HEAT, WATER HEATER, REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER, REAR AWNING, SIDE AWNING, MICROWAVE, GAS 3 BURNER STOVE, RADIO/CD, TV, TV ANTENNA, RADIO ANTENNA, OUTDOOR SHOWER, INDOOR SHOWER/HEAD. There was a leak several years ago at the front of the camper and the molding underneath was removed to be sealed. I have the strip. The area could use a re caulking before so. It has been winterized and all appliances work as they should. If you have 1/2 ton pick up you would need to add air shocks or helper springs. The camper is located in Ridgely, MD on the eastern shore.  35 minutes to the bay bridge and 60 miles from Ocean City. $6,800.
