Last year we teamed up with Globe-Trotter to produce a limited edition 10-Watch Attaché case that quickly sold out, proving that those who have an appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into their timepieces want the same level of care from the case in which the watches travel.

This year we have partnered with Globe-Trotter again to bring its world-renowned handcrafted luggage to the world of watches, with a pair of more portable but equally as beautiful storage solutions. We proudly introduce the Globe-Trotter Limited Edition for Hodinkee 3-Watch and 6-Watch Cases. Created with effortless travel in mind, we pared down our original Attaché design and focused on the essentials. Both locking cases are constructed of Globe-Trotter's signature time-tested vulcanized fiber and are wrapped in a deeper shade of charcoal grey, intended to complement the cool grey of our 10-Watch Attaché. Both the 3 and 6-watch cases feature the same cognac leather accents on the case's corners and handle, further tying the collection together. The result is a duo of watch cases perfect for taking a few of your favorite pieces on the road or elegantly storing your collection at home.

The Globe-Trotter Limited Edition for Hodinkee 6-Watch Case is our go-to case for everyday storage. Inside you will find six suede-covered cushions that each have their own slot to comfortably sit in during your travels. In between the two rows of watch cushions is a slot for extra straps because sometimes a new outfit requires the perfect matching strap. We designed the cushions to be the best for any watch, from a delicate vintage piece to an oversized professional diver. The right side of the case is a dedicated section for your watch loupe and tools to fit snugly in place, so you can always be prepared for a strap change or to give that new addition to the collection a closer look. Inside the case is also a removable tray insert that can be used as a work surface for adjusting a bracelet, changing a strap, or as a place to lay a watch as you and a friend talk over the timepiece's details. The three suede watch cushions sit inside a soft grey textile lining, a setting that matches the quality of the rarest of timepieces. A small section with elastic straps is a handy spot to store watch tools, in case a quick strap change is needed. Below the tray is a narrow compartment intended to house spare straps, papers, or anything else you may need on the road. The Globe-Trotter 3-Watch Case Limited Edition For Hodinkee
The legendary toughness of a Globe-Trotter case comes from the vulcanized fiber construction, a method that was patented in 1901. A decade later Globe-Trotter put its luggage to the test by having a one-ton pachyderm borrowed from the Hamburg Zoological Gardens stand on a cabin trunk. The picture of this elephant doing no damage to the trunk was proof of the quality of the construction. This time-tested construction has been in continuous use, with 100-year-old sewing machines still in use to help construct Globe-Trotter luggage.
