Rookie K-pop boyband xikers have announced the Europe leg of their 2023 to 2024 ‘Tricky House: First Encounter’ world tour.

xikers have added seven new Europe dates to their ‘Tricky House: First Encounter’ world tour, all of which will take place in January and February 2024. It’ll follow the US leg of their tour, which was held in October and November 2023.

The K-pop boyband’s newly announced Europe date will kick off on January 28 at the O2 Shepard’s Bush Empire in London, United Kingdom. Two days after, the group will also play a concert in Madrid, Spain.

In February 2024, xikers will play five shows across two weeks, featuring shows in the cities of Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam and more. They will then wrap up their tour at the Elysee Montmartre in Paris, France on the 10th.

In other touring news, K-pop girl group  EVERGLOW have added new Europe dates to their 2023-2024 ‘All My Girls’ tour , with shows in Warsaw, Barcelona and four other cities.

Meanwhile, TWICE have announced a new Las Vegas show for their ongoing ‘Ready To Be’ world tour . Dubbed the ‘Ready To Be Once More in Las Vegas’ show, the concert will take place on March 16 at the Allegiant Stadium.

Elsewhere, ATEEZ have shared plans to embark on a new world tour, titled, ‘Towards the Light: Will to Power’, in 2024 . More details about the upcoming tour are expected soon.

xikers Announces U.S. Dates And Cities For 1st World Tour

xikers is setting out on their first-ever world tour!

On September 1 KST, the rookie boy group from KQ Entertainment officially announced their plans for the U.S. leg of their first world tour “TRICKY HOUSE : FIRST ENCOUNTER.”

xikers will head stateside this fall for “TRICKY HOUSE : FIRST ENCOUNTER IN USA,” which will kick off on October 22 in New York. The group will then perform in Chicago on October 24, Fort Worth on October 28, Houston on October 30, Los Angeles on November 1, and San Francisco on November 4.

Rising K-pop sensation  xikers  are set to embark on their inaugural European tour through ' 2024 WORLD TOUR TRICKY HOUSE: FIRST ENCOUNTER IN EUROPE .' They're going to the Shepherds Bush Empire? That's tiny . Wow. The audience are going to get a really good view and be close to the band, it's even smaller than the Eventim Apollo.

Meet xikers: K-pop rookies debut solo world tour at Apollo Theater

Housed by South Korean label KQ Entertainment, known for K-pop titans such as ATEEZ and Maddox, the 10-member group made their debut in March 2023 and, just eight months later, have already made record-breaking sales with two mini-albums. Their music video “TRICKY HOUSE” also has over 29 million views and the group is gearing up for a six-city world tour.

amNewYork Metro sat down with xikers at Sony Music Office in the Flatiron District with the help of a translator before they took on their greatest challenge yet: the Big Apple. Sharing their excitement to meet their fans, affectionately known as “roady,” the group described the hard work that led up to becoming rising stars.

Each member — Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujun, Hunter and Yechan — professed their gratitude to their fans, stressing that the roady are their inspiration and strive to create a positive atmosphere with their music.

“We’re really excited since it’s our first time on a world tour, and we’ve always seen ATEEZ performing world tours. So, it’s like a dream come true,” Hunter said. “We’re getting to go on stage and have our own world tour even though we’ve only debuted for like five to seven months. And we’re just really excited to see roady and perform in front of them.”

The road to becoming xikers was no easy feat. The members trained in Los Angeles as they prepared to become KQ Entertainment’s first boy band to debut in five years, following in the very large footsteps of ATEEZ. But xikers have risen to the challenge and proven they are a force to reckon with by breaking through language barriers to cultivate a following that has earned them over 100K album sales in the first week of their debut EP.  

“Alongside being so grateful for this opportunity, we are working very hard for this so that we can show [our] roady whether that be in Japan, the US, or wherever roady may be a better side of us and to show our live performances to them and to keep going and kind of continue to show even more roady or gain roady along the way,” Sumin added.

According to Minjae, the band’s name is indicative of this hard-fought journey, explaining that the “x” in xikers stands for the mathematical term for unknown variables, and hikers represents each of the members traversing time and space. While this may sound like a riddle to some, for Minjae it perfectly sums up their work.

“I think the concept is so specific and exclusive, so I think that’s the most attractive point for xikers,” Minjae said. “In mathematics there is a symbol of infinite possibilities, we usually call ‘X’ but it can be ‘Y’ or ‘Z.’ So because we are young, we thought we had infinite possibilities for our future as xikers and as artists. So ‘X’ fits well with our infinite possibilities. Hiker is like finding [our] own future or dream. xikers fits with the 10 guys having an infinite possibility for now.”

Fans of xikers have often described the group’s music as a sort of comfort, and Hunter shared that their relatability coincides with audiences experiencing young adulthood along with them. As both the members and their roady navigate the threshold between teenage struggles and maturity, the band’s music provides positive vibes.

“I believe that the oldest member here was born in 2003 and the youngest in 2005, so I think the roady are also quite similar to us in age. I think they’re also in their 20s. They can relate to going through our teenage years and going through life as a 20-year-old,” Hunter said.

“There is a sort of unspoken connection between the two: There is roadie and there are the xikers.  When xikers perform on stage there all about that live performance. For that live performance, when the roady are watching they are very proud and they cheer for the members a lot so there is a sort of synergy that happens when they are on stage, so there’s a connection that happens between the two,” Junmin added.

For the six-city tour—which includes Chicago, Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco—fans can expect to see live performances of sidetracks that xikers were unable to perform before until now. The band also promises a special portion of the show featuring a whole new side of Hunter and Junmin. 

In South Korea, when an artist releases a new song or album it is called a comeback season. Junmin said that for xikers last comeback it was during the summer, and he promises that this new season will be something fans will not forget. 

“We’ll be an unforgettable artist of that season for you, and we’ll work hard in order to become an artist that will make that season your season [just] for you,” Junmin said. 

xikers’ trip to NYC began on Oct. 18, when they got to see the sites while preparing for their concert — and even hosting their own New York City-style showtime dance in the middle of Times Square.

For Seeun and Sumin, Times Square was definitely a highlight of their trip, where they hoped to return and take in the beauty of the Great White Way while eating a bagel and pizza, respectively.

xikers World Tour Tricky House First Encounter

On October 22 nd , K-pop monster rookies xikers made their US debut with a world tour unlike any other—and it all began in New York City’s Apollo Theater.

As the tidal wave of Korean music hits mainstream charts in the United States, there is one group that is dominating the scene with a powerful sound that has been breaking language and cultural barriers: xikers. 

Only debuting in the Spring of 2023, the ten-member group consisting of: Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujun, Hunter and Yechan has earned over 100,000 sales from their first EP, and their second EP conquered with over 200,000 sales. Less than a year on the scene and xikers’ music video, ‘TRICKY HOUSE’ has 29 million views with ‘HOMEBOY’ trailing behind at 24 million.

xikers awed thousands with a six-city tour Tricky House First Encounter all across the United States, hitting New York, Chicago, Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Fans, affectionately known as “roady,” packed music halls to experience the sheer powerful force that is xikers.

While the newest boy group on the block may be young and fresh-faced, their savage lyrics, killer choreography, and upbeat personalities has fans around the world clamoring for more. The Spring Creek Sun sat down with the band last month before their world tour to learn more about the group and their love for their fans with the help of a translator.   

For the band members, the opportunity to go on a world tour was a dream come true.

“We’re very grateful and thankful that we can go on a world tour and only a few months after our debut,” Sumin said.

“We’re just really excited to see roady and perform in front of them, especially [since] there’s [new] choreography and all of our world tour songs. So, we’re just really excited and really looking forward to meeting our roady,” Hunter told the Spring Creek Sun .

There is an intensity behind the relationship between xikers and their fans, something that is interwoven through passion and an endless love for one another. For Yujun, xikers music speaks for itself and in a way is its own love language to roady.

“In a sense, music is technically a sort of communication, and to be able to communicate in such a way is such an honor, and then to be an artist that can do so in an even better way and to not just be as a sort of comfort but be able to communicate different sorts of emotions would be so such a great like feat. [I] want to be even better of an artist to be able to do so,” Yujun said.

During the tour, roady were able to experience both mini albums from House of Tricky as well as songs from the B-side that have not been performed live before.

“There’s a lot of new sidetracks that [we] weren’t able to perform before but through this concert [we are] actually performing a lot of them.  Most of them, I think, [are] from our B-side tracks. And then on top of that, there’s actually a special stage with Hunter and Junmin that you’ll be able to see a new side of them that’s more mature,” Junmin said.

Junmin also went into detail regarding the way in which their fans have a profound effect on their music, which he hopes sends a heartfelt message that they will continue to work hard for roady.

“There is a relation to what [we] would want fans to take from the music as well as an inspiration because [we] have a positive energy that [we] want to send to the fans. Like you said before there is a sense of comfort that people will feel from [our] music or they’ll be able to overcome certain things while listening to [our] music. And in that sense, [we] want to enjoy the stage by [also] enjoying the stage that’s alongside [our] fans, not just one part of the performance,” Junmin said.

“We want to enjoy the entire part of the entire performance in itself, in general, and be able to communicate that to the fans. So, it’s a back-and-forth synergy between the two that [I] want to put across in a very positive energy,” Junmin added.

Minjae also stressed that roady will always be at the forefront of their minds and they will continue to work hard with every aspect of their work.

“Thank you for being our inspiration and motivation,” Minjae said to the xikers fans.

Get ready, CARATs! After teasing the RIGHT HERE tour in late July, SEVENTEEN announced the U.S. dates for its global trek on Tuesday (Aug. 6) via fan platform Weverse and its social media accounts.

Artifacts From BTS, SEVENTEEN & More HYBE Artists to Be Displayed in Grammy Museum Exhibit

These dates will be the SEVENTEEN’s first in the U.S. since wrapping its BE THE SUN world tour in Newark, N.J., in 2022. In addition to the tour beginning in October, the group is expected to release its 12th mini album that month.

For fans who have CARAT memberships, presale tickets will be available beginning Aug. 13 at 3 p.m. local time. (See the Weverse announcement for presale registration information and times.) General onsale kicks off Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

For CARATs unable to make it to SEVENTEEN’s upcoming concerts, there’s another way to experience the group. Artifacts from SEVENTEEN, as well as BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN and more K-pop groups are on display through Sept. 15 at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. The interactive HYBE: We Believe in Music exhibit showcases outfits worn by the groups in their music videos, as well as other artifacts.
