Elevation Worship was more than what I expected. It was the best worship concert I've ever been too. I loved it, and I would definitely go again if they ever come back and do it again at Red Rocks amphitheater Denver,Colorado.

The tour will make a stop in Kansas City at T-Mobile Center on Saturday, April 22. The life-changing night of worship features a passionate group of award-winning worship leaders bringing their message of hope and life.

The Elevation Nights tour is a full worship experience as Steven Furtick preaches and Elevation Worship leads some of their hit songs including “Graves Into Gardens, “RATTLE!,” “Do It Again,” “The Blessing” and others.

Elevation Worship set to bring night of exuberant worship to Nashville's Ryman Auditorium

C hris Brown, leader of the Christian worship band Elevation Worship , said massive tours and stacks of awards, ranging from K-Love and Dove awards (including nine nods this year) to a Grammy and two Billboard Music Awards, was never the intention of the team that began writing songs together a decade ago.

"We started writing songs to sing in our church on Sundays, but for years, we didn't sing most of the songs we were writing because we were just cutting our teeth," Brown told The Tennessean.

But they kept writing and have just released their 17th album, "When Wind Meets Fire."

Despite the awards and the sold-out crowds across the entire tour, Elevation Worship still leads worship at Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, most Sundays. That regular schedule prompted the team to amp up their writing so that churchgoers could have new music more often.

"Some artists might release an album every two or three years, and it's got 12 songs on it," Brown said. "We can't really do that because there's 52 weeks in the year and our people show up every weekend. So for us, there's a little bit of a drive to sing a new song."

Bringing worship to Nashville's Mother Church

The group will close out their current tour on Monday at the Ryman Auditorium , a venue they are very familiar with but have never played before.

"We are ecstatic," Brown said. "We're thrilled. There's obviously a lot of excitement around your final show, and it will be really nice to be playing the Ryman at the end, too, because we'll know good and well what we're doing by that point. Hopefully, it feels like just good community and a cool night."

Brown said he and the band have friends in Nashville, so he's tying to figure out if he wants to bring some different friends on stage for the night. He said although he doesn't know what the night will look like, the opportunity is there.

"That's the beauty of being in Nashville," he said. "When you go see a show, you just never know who might pop on stage and that makes it fun."

Changing the face of worship

Worship was once singing hymns quietly in church with hymnal in hand, but it has evolved into a full-blown party with electric guitars, drums, clapping, dancing and singing at the top of your lungs thanks to Elevation and other touring worship bands such as Maverick City Music , along with Christian artists like Brandon Lake who have helped elevate the worship landscape.

"We've all been completely changed by Jesus' resurrection and his salvation work in us," Brown said. "As a result, why wouldn't we want to shout about that? Why wouldn't we want to be excited about that? As crazy as the world is, there is a hope and you can feel free and not caught up in anxiety."

Coming up again in 2024, Elevation Worship will be joining forces with Pastor Steven Furtick for another version of their Elevation Nights tour across America. The 8-date trek takes place in February making stops in Hershey, Bridgeport, Grand Rapids, Columbus, Hoffman Estates, Elmont, Boston and Philadelphia. The 2023 installment of the tour took place after Elevation Worship made an appearance at Passion Conference along with Crowder , Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes .

UPDATE: Later in the year, the band will be launching their own Praise Party Tour visiting Boca Raton, Jacksonville, Newport, Baltimore, Gilford, New York, Indianapolis and Milwaukee.

Elevation Worship will continue supporting their 11th live album 'Can You Imagine?' released on May 19th, 2023 via their own Elevation Worship Records label. The new album reached #1 on Billboard's Christian chart and features guest appearances by Chandler Moore and Brandon Lake among others. Back in 2019, the worship collective joined Casting Crowns and Hillsong Worship during their massive co-headlining tour. In the past, they've also toured alongside acts like Lauren Daigle and Bethel Music .

Elevation worship and steven furtick announce dates for the elevation nights tour.

Elevation Church is bringing back their successful Elevation Nights Tour for Fall 2023. The tour will feature Elevation Worship and Steven Furtick as the life-changing night of worship sweeps across eight cities this October.

The tour follows the success of three previous Elevation Nights tours and comes as an extension of the Spring tour. The Elevation Nights 2022 tour saw sold-out arenas of ten thousand per night and ushered in life-changing ministry experiences.

"Being a part of these nights is one of my favorite things we do as a ministry," said Elevation Worship member Tiffany Hudson. "I'm grateful we are bringing Elevation Nights to more cities this year and can't wait to see how God moves."

Tickets for the Fall leg of the Elevation Nights 2023 Tour go on sale to the public on March 17th. Patrons can sign up for the exclusive pre-sale through March 14th at  ElevationNights.com . The Spring tour dates are already on sale and selling fast, with limited inventory remaining.

"The response to these nights has been overwhelmingly positive," said Jonathan Roberts, VP of Global Touring at Premier Productions. "We're so excited to add more cities to the tour this fall! These nights have been incredibly rewarding to see come to fruition year in and year out, and we are excited to see people's lives positively impacted again!"

The Elevation Nights tour is a full worship experience as Steven Furtick preaches and Elevation Worship leads some of their hit songs including "Graves Into Gardens," "RATTLE!," "Do It Again," "The Blessing" and others. The eight-city fall tour will kick-off on Tuesday, October 3 in Miami, FL, with stops in Tampa, FL, Knoxville, TN and Dallas, TX before the final show on Thursday, October 12 in Houston, TX. 'I am speaking now': Harris responds after Michigan rally interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters

DETROIT — A handful of pro-Palestinian protesters interrupted Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris during her rally remarks at an airport hangar Wednesday night — prompting her to reprise a familiar line.

About halfway through the vice president’s remarks, roughly half a dozen protesters began to chant, “Kamala, Kamala you can’t hide! We won’t vote for genocide.”

Harris first acknowledged the protesters by borrowing a strategy President Joe Biden used earlier this cycle when pro-Palestinian demonstrators routi n ely in terrupted his events , affirming the protesters’ right to voice their opinions while trying to redirect attention to the remarks.

“I’m here because we believe in democracy. Everyone’s voice matters,” she said. “But I am speaking now. I am speaking now.”

Harris famously told then-Vice President Mike Pence "I'm speaking" in cross-talk at a vice presidential debate during the 2020 election cycle.

As the protests continued, Harris’ tone grew more forceful.

“You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that. Otherwise, I’m speaking,” Harris said, aided by a crowd of several thousand attendees who chanted “Kamala” in an effort to drown out the protests.

Campaign staffers soon escorted the protesters out of the venue.

The interruptions — the first Harris has encountered at a rally since she replaced Biden atop the Democratic ticket — suggested the war in Gaza remains a salient issue among voters in Michigan, which has the largest concentration of Arab Americans in the country.

Leaders of the Uncommitted National Movement, which supported voting "uncommitted" on Democratic primary ballots rather than voting for Biden, briefly spoke with Harris at the Detroit rally.

"Michigan voters want to support you, but we need a policy that will save lives in Gaza right now. I meet with community members every day in Michigan who are losing tens and hundreds of family members in Gaza. Right now, we need an arms embargo," Layla Elabed, a co-founder of Uncommitted, told Harris, according to the group.

The protesters were not the only interruptions at the event, which was Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s third stop as a ticket . Throughout the event, some of the thousands in attendance were outside without shade, leading to what appeared to be several heat-related episodes. Both Harris and Walz had to pause their remarks to call for urgent medical assistance on behalf of attendees.

Beyond those moments, Harris and Walz delivered stump speeches similar to the ones they gave earlier in the day in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, highlighting what they framed as middle-class backgrounds, referring to themselves as “joyful warriors” and criticizing Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, for an agenda they suggested would erode personal freedoms.

“On Monday, I officially became the Democratic nominee for president of the United States,” Harris declared before she paused as the crowd erupted in cheers. 

When chants of “lock him up” broke out in the crowd, Harris quipped: “Hold on. Here’s the thing: The courts are going to handle that. We’re going to beat him in November.” 

Walz laid out some of his top policy positions simply and with a uniquely Midwestern appeal. He outlined his stance on reproductive rights, suggesting the government should not be in the exam room with women and their doctors. He also shared his family’s IVF journey, including unsuccessful treatments.

“The agony of that I can feel to this day,” Walz said.

On gun violence, he took a similarly direct approach: “Our children should be free to go to school without being shot dead in their classrooms.”

Walz also continued to frame Republican opponents as “weird,” a w o rd o ther Democrats have adopted .

“These ideas that they’re putting out there, they are weird as hell. No one’s asking for it. No one’s asking for it. We’re asking [for] a fair shot,” Walz said. “We’re asking for health care and child care. We’re asking for an education. We’re asking for safety in our streets.”

Straight from the success of the Paris Olympics , Simone Biles and members of the U.S. gymnastics team will be touring cities across the United States in the "Gold Over America Tour," or G.O.A.T. of course.

Tickets are on sale now for the 30-city gymnastics tour , headlined by Biles, but featuring many of Team USA's medal-winning athletes, including Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Stephen Nedoroscik, Fred Richard, Paul Juda, and Brody Malone.

“From the world’s stage to the GOAT stage, this incredible journey continues, and I can’t wait for fans to see what we have in store this year,” Biles said in a press release for the event. “I love creating unforgettable memories for our audiences every night on tour.”

The Gold Over America Tour will stop in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Houston, among other cities.
