About the Campus

Located in Yelahanka, the massive 22 acre campus enables BMSIT&M to impart high quality technical education to its students in a pollution free environment. This is achieved with over 75% of the campus being covered with a lawn, a mini forest, scores of trees, parks, gardens and above all a green canopy of Kadamba, Badhami and Rain trees. Housing several evergreen, semi-evergreen, tropical, deciduous, dry, ornamental, fruit bearing, medicinal, bio-diesel plants, plenty of shrubs, jungle wood trees etc. The BMSIT&M campus is totally eco-friendly. All of this is maintained and managed by more than 23 garden staff who are dedicated to keeping the campus sustainable and playing its part in addressing the issue of global warming.

Afforestation

Large scale afforestation initiative has been taken up in our college campus by considering the benefits of having more trees like retaining surface moisture, reduction in soil erosion, surface runoff, flooding, air pollution and green house affect. Some other incidental benefits include encouraging water infiltration and hence improving ground water level.

Lawn Development and Maintenance

Mexican lawn and Buffalo has been developed and maintained in most of the open areas in the campus as it has tremendous cooling effects, acts as a natural filter, traps and removes dust, absorbs carbon dioxide, reduces soil erosion and absorbs rainfall.

Development of compost

All bio-degradable waste from vegetable/kitchen waste to fallen leaves and flowers is converted into usable manure in compost pits located at different locations on the campus.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The hostels are so less and not sufficient to all the branches of first year in Frank the outside PGs are so better because the availability and connectivity with the town is not there and outside PGs cost is comparatively low with hostels and food inside the college is nice compared to food in the PGs.and cost of the meal is 35per day and coming to the WiFi in college not in hostel is the BSNL sim network will work faster than the WiFi.The classrooms, library and dining hall are quite good

Clubs & Associations : There are so many clubs in the campus one of them is elECsim it is for all ECE department and it is has large number of events and fun compared to other branches and some of other clubs are robotics,eco, NCC and NSS including red Cross The life in college of general is a good one not a great one.

The placement aspects are really nice . Owing to the city the placement is pretty decent.The students Computer Science gets most highly paid offers. The highest paid package was 14lavs/annum . With average package of 8lacs/annum.

Overall the college is good with good placement.

To be very honest, the placement have come down in last two years . Few companies like EY, Walmart, etc use to visit our campus but they didn't visit in last two years. Still the placement are good, in 2020 sap , Amazon, directi Nokia,etc big companies visited and offered good packages. Almost all students from CSE and ise got placed with very few left in ece. Mechanical N civil face little problem in placement. Average salary for CS and ise is around 5-6 lacs. The college support a lot tostudnt

Always choose a career path based on your interests above college since, once you leave school, a career path will help you live in this tough world.

However, choose BMSIT if CSE (Software & Coding) is your area of interest.

DSCE is a lot better college than BMSIT if you're looking at college rankings.

You will appreciate famous Gostiny Dvor , one of the oldest and most beloved mall by citizens. Next stop will be the Armenian Church which belongs to the early classical period. As first citizens of S.Petersburg were foreigners that's why in the center, and on Nevsky prospect , you can see the churches of different religions. Further,visiting Kazan cathedral you will learn something new about the Russian religion, the internal structure of the Russian Church. Although Cathedral looks like St. Peters Basilica in Vatican is the main Cathedral of St. Petersburg. We will see also The Grand hotel Europe one of the best hotels in Petersburg, harmonious Fine Arts square ,an interesting from the point of view that all the magnificent palaces located on it are used today as museums, theaters and concert halls. Finally is worth visiting the Savior on Spilled Blood, the church built at the request of his son, on the site of the assassination of the Russian Emperor Alexander 2. The church was built in the neo-Russian style, with gilded and colored domes. Inside a rich decoration of the walls from top to bottom covered with mosaics. Walking along small pedestrian streets, we shall go to the heart of the city the Palace square . The place of 3 Russian revolutions,which so strongly influenced the life of the country. The size of the area is more than 5 hectares,it is famous for different celebrations and concerts . We shall go to the Peter and paul fortress . St. Petersburg*s subway is one of the most beautiful and deepest in the world. It is decorated with marble and mosaics, truly impressive. Peter and paul fortress a unique historical place of the city, built as a military fortress, but eventually turned into a prison for political prisoners. Peter and Paul Cathedral the tallest building of the city, the burial place of the Romanov dynasty from the founder of the city Peter the 1 to Nicolas the 2.
