Lewis Capaldi  is coming to Asia.

The award-winning singer-songwriter, known for his heart-wrenching breakout single  'Someone You Loved' , is making his way to Manila and Singapore for the first time as part of his Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent .

Capaldi will be performing at Singapore's  The Star Theatre  on  25 July 2023  and then at Manila's New Frontier Theatre  on  27 July 2023.

While tickets for Capaldi's Manila concert will go on sale on 15 April, 10 AM PHT  via  TicketNet . More ticketing details will be announced soon. 

The tour comes ahead of Capaldi's forthcoming sophomore album, which is teased to be released this May. The record is expected to feature his latest singles,  'How I'm Feeling Now', 'Forget Me',  and  'Pointless' .

Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has cancelled his short Southeast Asia tour this July.

Today (June 27), Capaldi announced that he would be taking a break from touring for the “foreseeable future” to take a much-needed mental and physical health break. The announcement comes a few days after Capaldi’s performance at Glastonbury, during which he experienced sever ticks stemming from his Tourette’s Syndrome diagnosis, as well as vocal issues. During that set, he suggested that he would be taking a break after the show.

The ‘Before You Go’ singer was set to take his ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’ tour to Singapore on July 25 for a one-night-only show at the Star Theatre before making his way down to Manila, the Philippines on July 27 where he will perform at the New Frontier Theater.

He previously announced to perform at Indonesia’s We The Fest and Japan’s Fuji Rock festival in July. Those sets have also been cancelled.

Capaldi’s ‘Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent’ released on May 19 via EMI. He told  NME  that the follow-up to ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ is “fucking shit.”

Lewis Capaldi was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome last September and has since said he could “quit” music if it “gets to a point where I’m doing irreparable damage to myself” after he explained that making music and performing makes his symptoms worse.

MANILA, Philippines – Lewis Capaldi is bringing his Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent Asia Tour to Manila, with a July 27 show at the New Frontier Theater.

Lewis Capaldi has confirmed two dates for his 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent' 2023 Asia Tour - Manila (23/7) and Singapore (25/7) . Unfortunately no mention of Hong Kong in the latest announcement.

Tickets to the Singapore concert will go on sale on Thursday, April 13 at 12pm local time via Ticketmaster . Tickets will cost SGD$198, $168, $138, and $98.

Tickets to the Manila show will go on sale on Saturday, April 15 at 10 am local time via TicketNet . Ticket prices for the Filipino show have yet to be announced.

The announcement comes just a month after Capaldi welcomed his sophomore album’s era with the emotive “Forget Me” and its ironically goofy music video.

Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent is a follow-up to Capaldi’s debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which landed the 26-year-old star his first Grammy nomination for the album’s breakthrough single, “Someone You Loved,” which was up for song of the year at the 2020 ceremony.

The album peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and spent an impressive 177 weeks total on the chart. “Someone You Loved,” meanwhile, topped the Hot 100 chart for three weeks, and spent 54 weeks total on the chart. Capaldi’s debut album’s second single, “Before You Go,” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100 dated September 26, 2020.

Lewis Capaldi tickets for his 2023 tour go on sale today.

His forthcoming album, entitled Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent is due on 19 May 2023.

The Scottish singer also announced a huge tour across the UK and Ireland, Europe, America, Australia, and New Zealand.

Capaldi has encouraged fans to pre-order his new album to access presale for the tour – the UK dates start in January 2023.

“Pre-order right now for pre-sale access to the 2023 WORLD TOUR! Finally coming to see you all again!” he wrote in a tweet announcing the news.

Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent will be Capaldi’s second album following 2019’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

The new album will include the chart-topping single “Forget Me” which is currently in the UK top three.

How to get tickets:

Presale tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 26 Oct 2022 and be available until 8am on Friday 28 Oct 2022. Presale tickets are available to fans who pre-order the forthcoming album.

General sale tickets will be released on Friday 28 October 2022 and are available here .
