How to get Taylor Swift Sydney tickets via resales (plus advice to avoid Eras Tour resale scams)

Here's everything you need to know in case you're making a last-ditch attempt to see Tay Tay play in Sydney

Caitlyn Todoroski

Taylormania has well and truly swept across Sydney in anticipation of her four shows at Accor Stadium  (if you’re one of the lucky ones who actually have tickets, here’s everything you need to know in preparation ). With the megastar having touched down in the Harbour City on Monday (and visiting one of our favourite restaurants as well as Sydney Zoo twice) , and social media and news sites swamped with T-Swizzle content, it’s hard not to feel a sense of FOMO if you couldn’t nab tickets.

By no means are we saying that the odds are in your favour of snagging a pass to the Eras Tour ticket via resale, but it’s not impossible, either… (After all, a brand-new release of first-sale tickets even went up on Ticketek as recently as Thursday , the day before her first Sydney show! Who's to say people who snapped up tickets in a mad rush won't try to resale over the next few days?)

Here’s your guide to the resale marketplace (and how to avoid getting scammed)...

When is Taylor Swift playing in Sydney for the Eras Tour?

Taylor is playing four shows in Sydney at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park: every night from Friday, February 23 to Monday, February 26.

How do I get Taylor Swift tickets Sydney?

If you missed scoring tickets in the final ticket release that went live at 4pm on Thursday, February 22 , your (safest) last chance at grabbing tickets is through resale on the Ticketek Marketplace site.

How do I avoid getting scammed when buying Taylor Swift Sydney resale tickets?

The only official site to purchase resale tickets for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is Ticketek Marketplace. Fair warning – you will most likely get stuck in the waiting lounge for a  long time. It seems that half of Sydney is waiting on a last-minute miracle, but hey, it’s worth a shot. You can access the resale site here .

While this is the safest option, there are other ticket resale sites like Ticket Merchant and Tixel. Ticket Merchant strongly warns against purchasing from outlets like Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree. They say to make sure you’re searching sites that have verified payment options like Google Pay and PayPal.

To safeguard yourself, you can also check reviews for the website you’re buying from and, while it’s illegal for ticket resalers to list ticket prices for profit, if the price is too good to be true, then it probably is. Better safe than sorry.

Well, your prayers may have been answered, with even more tickets to the Melbourne leg of the Eras Tour available at 4pm, Thursday 15 February. For those who miss out, there’s also resale opportunities to secure tickets to one of the Eras Tour shows in Australia. But, as we saw overseas, getting Eras Tour tickets has been a bit of a struggle for everyone. Issues with ticketing sites, opportunistic scalpers and the sheer competition among fans meant many missed out, so there’s a lot of people holding onto hope for resale tickets.

So, as we anxiously wait for more tickets to be offered up, we’re trying to be as prepped as possible. Here’s some precious intel that will help you get tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour .

When Will Resale Tickets For The Eras Tour Be Available?

If you didn’t manage to get tickets the first time round then there’s still a chance you might secure those seats. Resale is now available for anyone with a Ticketek account through TMarketplace.

It will allow anyone with tickets to list theirs on the platform, available to be sold at up to 10 per cent more to someone else. When they’re resold, a new barcode is issued so that the original owner of the tickets can no longer attend the Eras Tour.

There are other third-party sites that will be selling tickets, but Ticketek warns any ticket not sold through TMarketplace could be at risk of cancellation, with the ticket price refunded to the original seller.

The resale platform will be open from now until closer to the concert, allowing fans lots of time to list their tickets if their plans change.

How To Get Tickets To Taylor Swift

Tickets for the Eras Tour went on sale across a series of drops.

AMEX Presale

The first pre-sale tickets were offered to American Express credit card holders, who could purchase tickets from June 26.

Frontier Touring Presale

The pre-sale, courtesy of Taylor’s Australian tour promoters, Frontier Touring was available on June 28.

General Sale

The general sale of tickets started on June 30.

The resale date for the Eras Tour ticket resale was moved back from September 4 to November 24.

From November 24, tickets are on sale from 10am on the TMarketplace. This is the only official place to buy tickets and any tickets purchased on other platforms are at risk of being cancelled by the ticketing company – in an effort to avoid scalping.

Tickets will not be able to be sold for more than 10 per cent of their value.

Additional tickets, including partially obstructed side-view seats have already been released, so it’s unlikely we’ll see another round of additional seating.

What Are The Best & Worst Seats For Taylor Swift’s Australian Eras Tour?

Swifties know everything (fact) and some beautifully generous fans are sharing some precious first-hand info about the best seats on the Eras Tour.

Those who have attended shows along Swift’s US tour have taken to TikTok to share the view from their respective seats, providing precious insight into what kind of view you’ll get, from where.

Both Australian arenas — like her international shows — have a similar layout and stage design, with an aisle and diamond-shaped platform protruding into the floor section.

You can also see where sound stages or other potential obstructions are on the floor (those are the greyed or blacked-out sections).

The Best Seats For Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Let’s take this per section…

Floor Seating, A-Reserve

Floor seating is, of course, allocated. There will be no rushing the stage or camping out for a front row position. You’ll have to duke it out with everyone else online.

If you’re towards the front of the floor sections (closer to the stage) you’ll be winning… But not all floor seating is created equal (more on that below).

It should be said, that floor seating is often about the vibe more than anything else.

The ‘lower bowl’ sections, i.e. the elevated seating around the sides is reportedly stellar, and superior to many floor section seats.

if you can get to the sides of the ‘diamond stage’ section, you will be loving life!

Here’s one such view …

The Worst Seats For Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Floor Seating

We’ve been through the pros of floor seating at the Eras Tour, but there have been many reports that you can’t see anything from the back of the floor sections. This could potentially include parts of B, C (outer), D & E floor sections, which is something to be mindful of for the cost.

Views can be obscured by people standing in front of you, and may be particularly tricky if you’re bringing along kids or anyone with a height disadvantage in the context.

Obstructed view

Of course, it’s wise to be wary of any tickets that come with an ‘obstructed view’ warning. However, here ‘s one such example from the US tour and, as you can see, the view wasn’t really ‘obstructed’ at all. (Watch below)

Nosebleed section

Again, this depends on how you define ‘bad’. It’s long been known that the nosebleed section is the furthest away from the action, and it’s the reason why it’s so cheap. However, for many, the price will be unbeatable (G-Reserve starts from $79.90, compared to $379.90 for A-Reserve). You’ll still be there at Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour — enjoy the ride!

As they say, there are no bad seats at the Eras Tour.

Australian Swifties have been given a second chance to see Taylor Swift

Millions of Australians missed out on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour tickets, but there’s a new way to get your hands on them.

Taylor Swift shades Kanye West on Eras Tour over 2009 VMAs interruption

Don't miss out on the headlines from Music. Followed categories will be added to My News.

Taylor Swift fans will soon have another chance to purchase tickets for the highly sought after Eras Tour.

Lucky ticket holders will be able to resell their tickets on Ticketek Marketplace , giving hope to the millions of fans who missed out when tickets went on sale earlier this year.

Ticketek Marketplace is Ticketek’s own fan-to-fan resale site, and is the only place to safely list and purchase resale tickets to the Eras Tour, which comes to Australia in February.

The resale date for Swift’s Australian shows was originally set for September 4, however the ticketing giant has just rescheduled this, with a new date to be determined.

The delay left fans devastated, with many having marked the date in their calendars eagerly hoping for their second chance at seeing Swift live.

In terms of how the resale will work, Ticketek have confirmed that tickets resold on marketplace can’t be sold for more than 10 per cent of their original price in a bid to deter scalpers.

Those selling tickets also won’t incur any fees for listing tickets on the platform, and will be able to choose whether to sell multiple tickets together as a group, or individually. Once tickets are purchased from Marketplace, they’re reissued into the name of the purchaser, providing a safe and secure platform for fans who missed out in the initial sale. According to the Ticketek Marketplace FAQ section, payment will be sent into the seller’s bank account within ten business days after the event has taken place to ensure there aren’t any issues with the ticket or event itself.

However, it’s important to make sure your details are all up to date, as the FAQ also states that Ticketek Marketplace won’t be liable for payments made to wrong accounts as a result of incorrect bank details being given.

While regular tickets will be available, ticketholders aren’t able to resell any VIP or Hotel and Ticket Packages.

Additionally, the reselling of tickets is “strictly forbidden other than through Ticketek’s official resale platform”, according to Frontier’s FAQ section. “We have not allocated any tickets for the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour to unauthorised resellers (which include but are not limited to Viagogo; Stubhub; Ticketfinders; The Ticket Merchant; Worldticketshop; and Tixel) or via websites such as eBay, Gumtree and social media Buy Swap Sell pages). “To make sure you pay the correct ticket price and receive valid tickets, you must purchase via Ticketek Australia,” the FAQ read. “Ticketek Marketplace is the only official platform for resale of tickets and the only place where tickets can be verified as legitimate and on sold safely,” Frontier said in a statement.

“While it is not illegal or a breach of the Terms of Sale to sell elsewhere (with the cap of +10%), we strongly encourage fans to only buy and sell tickets from Ticketek Marketplace.”

Despite Ticketek and Frontier making this clear, it appears as though people are already buying and selling tickets elsewhere, with over a thousand fans on the Tixel waitlist desperate for a chance to see the global superstar.

Swift is all set to hit Australian shores in February next year, playing three sellout shows at the MCG in Melbourne, and four sellout shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

Tickets initially went on sale in June this year and sold out in a matter of hours, leaving fans devastated after waiting hours in the queue.

Ticket prices ranged from $79 to $379 for general tickets, while VIP packages ranged from $349 to $1249.

It was estimated that over four million people tried to snag tickets in the pre-sale alone, with a Ticketek spokesman confirming that more than half a billion bot attempts were repelled, too.

Other dedicated fans resorted to camping outside the Ticketek box office overnight in an attempt to score tickets as demand sorely outweighed availability. Meanwhile, Swift has recently kicked off the international leg of her tour, playing four nights in Mexico City. It marked her first tour of Mexico, which she described as “4 of the most unforgettable shows” in an Instagram post.

More Coverage

The tour has received widespread praise, with Swift performing a three hour, 44-song setlist paired with elaborate stage sets – including a moss-topped cabin for her Folklore set – and several costume changes as she visits each of her “eras”, which are her albums. But the extravagance of the shows can’t all be credited to Swift, with fans showing up in intricate costumes and creating a viral trend surrounding her track You’re on your own, kid from Midnights .

Referencing the lyric “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it”, Swifties have been making their very own friendship bracelets to trade at the concerts. Some fans have been donning full arms of bracelets by the end of the shows, and have been attempting to trade with guests in the VIP tents, including Channing Tatum, Nicole Kidman, and Swift’s parents. The trend has already reached Australia despite the shows being almost six months away.

The tour has also seen two big announcements so far, with the star sharing dates for the rerecordings of both Speak Now and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) during her respective Nashville and Los Angeles shows.

Taylor Swift: more tickets for Australia Eras tour shows in Sydney and Melbourne to go on sale today

Frontier Touring announces new tickets to Swift’s five Australian shows will be released at 10am on Friday, with a ticket resale market launching in two weeks

More tickets to Taylor Swift ’s Melbourne and Sydney shows are going on sale on Friday, with Ticketek also announcing a date for the highly anticipated resale of tickets.

Swift’s Eras tour broke Australian records earlier this year in June, when more than four million people tried to snap up about 450,000 tickets for the five concerts, to take place in Melbourne on 16 and 17 February, and Sydney on 23-25 February 2024.

The new tickets for the Sydney shows will go on sale at 10am AEDT on Friday 10 November, with the new tickets at the Melbourne shows going on sale at 4pm AEDT that same day.

Frontier Touring also announced that additional tickets including seats with a partially obstructed view, will be released on Friday with prices starting from $79.90.

Fans who have already applied for accessible tickets will not have to apply for the newly available accessible seats, with Ticketek set to contact applicants in the order they submitted their forms until allocations are exhausted.

An official ticket resale service was initially set to be rolled out in September but was delayed. Ticketek has now announced the service will be available from 10AM AEDT on Friday 24 November, allowing fans to sell their tickets.

In Victoria, the state government declared Swift’s concerts at the MCG a major event, making it prohibited under anti-scalping legislation to sell Swift tickets on any other platform than the official resale website, or for more than 10% above cost price, to preventing touts from charging fans exorbitant fees.

In New South Wales, Swift tickets are covered by similar anti-scalping laws under general “resale restrictions”, with sellers also only able to mark tickets up by 10%.

When tickets went on sale for Swift’s Eras tour in the US, Ticketek crashed while some tickets were immediately listed for resale for up to US$40,000.

The film of Swift’s tour, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, made $3.8m in Australia in its opening weekend in October. It is now the highest-grossing concert film in North America and has taken US$200m globally– but still remains behind the $262.5m global box office of Michael Jackson’s 2009 film This Is It.

How to Actually Get Tickets to Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Tour If You Want to Fly To America

Jake Peterson Avatar

If your count Lover , Swift has dropped four new albums — including the recent Midnights — since her last round of concerts, and that’s not counting her re-recordings of earlier albums. What I’m saying is, fans are undoubtedly ravenous to get tickets for these long-awaited shows when they go on sale on Nov. 15 — and if you are one of them, you need to start strategising right now.

When does Taylor’s tour start?

Taylor kicks off the Eras Tour on March 18, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. From there, she will hit 26 other venues across America, from Las Vegas, to Chicago, to Los Angeles. Here’s the full list of tour dates and locations as it stands:

  • Saturday, March 18: Glendale, AZ
  • Saturday, March 25: Las Vegas, NV
  • Saturday, April 1: Arlington, TX
  • Sunday, April 2: Arlington, TX
  • Saturday, April 15: Tampa, FL
  • Saturday, April 22: Houston, TX
  • Friday, April 28: Atlanta, GA
  • Saturday, April 29: Atlanta, GA
  • Saturday, May 6: Nashville, TN
  • Friday, May 12: Philadelphia, PA
  • Saturday, May 13: Philadelphia, PA
  • Friday, May 19: Foxborough, MA
  • Saturday, May 20: Foxborough, MA
  • Friday, May 26: East Rutherford, NJ
  • Saturday, May 27: East Rutherford, NJ
  • Friday, June 2: Chicago, IL
  • Saturday, June 3: Chicago, IL
  • Saturday, June 1o: Detroit, MI
  • Saturday, June 17: Pittsburgh, PA
  • Saturday, June 24: Minneapolis, MN
  • Saturday, July 1: Cincinnati, OH
  • Saturday, July 8: Kansas City, MO
  • Saturday, July 15: Denver, CO
  • Saturday, July 22: Seattle, WA
  • Saturday, July 29: Santa Clara, CA
  • Friday, Aug. 4: Los Angeles, CA

While you might expect Taylor Swift tickets to break the bank, they’re surprisingly affordable, at least at the low end. Variety reports  tickets will range from $US49 ($68) to $US449 ($623), while VIP packages go for $US199 ($276) to $US899 ($1,248).

How do you get tickets for the Eras Tour?

If all the buzz online has you freaked out, don’t worry: Tickets haven’t gone on sale, which means you haven’t lost your chance to attend one of Taylor’s stadium shows. At least, not yet.

Even minus the pent up pandemic-era demand, buying Taylor Swift tickets has always been less a simple transaction and more a fight. And this time, you will be competing against other Swifties who haven’t seen Taylor in concert since 2018. I wish you luck, because you’re going to need it. Here’s what you need to do to improve your odds

Make a Ticketmaster account. If you don’t have one, open a Ticketmaster account now . Yes, you can make one at any point throughout the process, but it’s much faster to already have the account on hand. Also important: If you purchased tickets for Lover Fest, you will have preferential status during this process, which means you’ll likely have a chance to buy tickets before those who didn’t buy Lover Fest seats. In order to claim that status, though, you’ll need to sign in with the same Ticketmaster account you used for Lover Fest.

Register for the Verified Fan Presale . You have to do this. Without registering, you won’t even have access to buy tickets when they go on sale in the first round. There’s not necessarily a huge rush to register: The website claims it doesn’t matter when you toss your name into the hat, as long as you do so before Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET . If you try to register today, it might take some time to get through (the queue is long ), but I imagine the process will be faster as time goes on. Or will it? Don’t wait until the evening of Nov. 9, is what I’m saying.

Choose your dates. Once you’re at the front of the queue, you’ll have an option to sign in with Ticketmaster (which is why having an account already is so important). Once signed in, enter all relevant information, including which show you’d like tickets for. You need to choose one show, but you can select up to two other backups in case your first choice doesn’t work out.

Coordinate with your fellow Swifties. If you’re trying to buy tickets with a group, combine your efforts. If you’re in an area with two accessible shows (MetLife in New Jersey, for example, is booked for both May 26 and May 27), perhaps you choose the 26th as your priority, while a friend targets the 27th. That way, you’ll increase your chances of getting into at least one show, if not both.

When you’ve finished entering all information, hit submit. Be warned: At the time of this writing, the system is glitchy. So many people are trying to register at once, you might not be able to get through. I tried registering twice before the system booted me back to the end of the queue to make me wait all over again. Remember, it shouldn’t matter when you register — as long as you do so before Nov. 10 — so you should be safe trying again later.

Assuming you skirt the glitches, you’ll receive an email confirming your registration, including details on what comes next. But even if you register, there’s no guarantee you’ll get tickets. You will need to wait to see if you are selected to buy tickets. Here’s how that works.

What to do when tickets go on sale for The Eras Tour

On the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 15, you’ll receive an email if you’ve been selected to participate in the first round of ticket sales, and be given instructions on how to buy your tickets. You’ll also receive a text with your personal access code. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 2 a.m. local venue time (convert to AEDT) . The waiting room opens 10 minutes beforehand, so be sure to click the link by 1 :50 a.m. Another caveat (there are a lot of these): Having an access code doesn’t guarantee you tickets, either — it only grants you the opportunity to buy tickets.

Once ticket sales open, you will be assigned a spot in line. If you get through, you will have the option to buy up to six tickets for whichever show you were selected for. Congratulations!

More tickets to Taylor Swift's sold-out Eras tour are dropping today for less than $70 a pop

By Maddison Leach | 3 months ago

More tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras tour have dropped just days before the superstar kicks off her Australian concerts and they're some of the cheapest tickets yet.

The news couldn't come at a better time after Swift made headlines yesterday when she appeared at the Super Bowl to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce win .

Frontier Touring announced on Tuesday morning that limited tickets, including restricted view tickets at $65.90, will go on sale this afternoon.

Additional tickets for Swift's sold-out Melbourne shows will go on sale at 2pm AEDT on Tuesday, February 13.

Extra tickets for her Sydney dates will be available to purchase from 4pm AEDT on Tuesday, February 13, until allocations are exhausted.

All tickets can be purchased from taylorswift.ticketek.com.au .

Frontier Touring has not confirmed how many extra tickets will be available for each show, nor did it detail exactly what types of tickets will be available.

But for millions of Aussie Swifties who missed out on Eras Tour tickets when they went on sale last year, snagging a $65.90 restricted view seat will be like winning the lottery.

More than 4 million fans tried to buy tickets to the Eras Tour when they first went on sale in June 2023, breaking an Australian record in the process.

Less than half of them actually managed to snag a seat at the concerts at Accor Stadium and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), leaving millions of fans disappointed.

In response to the unprecedented demand, Frontier Touring released a round of extra tickets for the first time in November 2023.

Some 100,000 additional tickets for seats with "partially obstructed views" went on sale for just $79.99, with tickets for the Sydney show selling out in just 82 minutes.

Now Frontier Touring are doing it again and tickets to the shows are expected to sell out just as fast.

Many fans who didn't get tickets last year have turned to ticket resales websites and online marketplaces in the hopes of securing a last-minute seat ahead of Swift's shows, which kick off in Melbourne on Friday.

But experts have warned that Taylor Swift ticket scams are on the rise as her Eras Tour dates get closer and it's costing Aussies thousands of dollars.

Taylor Swift tickets to Eras Tour in Australia are among cheapest one can find. Here's why.

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

MELBOURNE — The Melbourne Cricket Grounds is the largest venue Taylor Swift will play on the Eras Tour with almost 100,000 fans attending each night, so why is it the hardest venue to find even one ticket (regular or resale)?

Because of the Major Events Act 2009 , which prevents reselling tickets at exorbitant prices. The law, amended in 2022, ensures that tickets are only bought by fans and not by scalpers or bots looking to make preposterous profits.

“In Australia, Melbourne is the sporting events capital,” said Jeannie Paterson, a law professor at the University of Melbourne. “We have a lot of stadiums. We have the sporting district, the Australian Open, and we also run a lot of concerts in those venues.”

The law states that any “major event” proclaimed by the government of Victoria (Melbourne’s state) cannot have tickets resold for more than 10% above face value. Those who disobey the law are looking at fines of thousands of dollars.

“Tickets can only be resold through an authorized ticket seller,” Paterson said, “like Ticketek or Ticketmaster, so it chokes the idea that you buy a whole lot of tickets early and then sell them for exploitative prices.”

Major events have been declared for 2024 on Victoria’s website :

2024 Taylor Swift - Eras Australian Tour

2024 Australian Open

2024 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix

2024 Melbourne International Comedy

2024 Golden Plains Festival

All International Men's and Women's Cricket in Melbourne

Titanic: The Artefact Exhibition

Chicago the Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical!

Grease The Musical

WICKED The Musical

“If you go and buy 10 tickets, you can’t recoup a huge profit,” Paterson said. “It’s a law that keeps the price of tickets where they’ve been advertised so that people go (to events) who want to go.”

In Sydney’s state of New South Wales, the law is the same except a “major event” does not have to be declared by the government. If consumers buy any ticket to a music concert, theater event, sporting match or other event, they cannot resell it for more than 10% and must do it on an approved site.

This is far different from the approach in America, where resale prices for the Eras Tour take advantage of the high demand. On Dec. 7, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) introduced the Fans First Act , aimed at addressing flaws in the current live event ticketing systems.

Swift will play three American cities in the fall. At last check on StubHub.com , one Eras Tour ticket to a Miami show ranged from $2,190-$13,585, one ticket to a New Orleans show ranged from $1,671-$13,924 and one ticket to an Indianapolis show ranged from $2,479-$15,007.

Fighting the 'Great War'

Swifties refer to trying to get tickets and waiting hours in the queue as fighting the "Great War," a song on her "Midnights" album.

On Tuesday, Ticketek announced a ticket drop for "H Reserve." The $65 seats came with a warning of partial/restricted views because of their behind-the-stage location.

sydney and melbourne updated maps <3 pic.twitter.com/ilz4HhtZVK — emily grace✉️🕯️🪶 eras melb + syd (@emily_grace8913) February 13, 2024

And on Thursday, without any publicity, Ticketek made a surprise 4 p.m. drop of tickets scattered throughout the stadium. Hundreds lined up at the physical location on Exhibition Street in downtown Melbourne and thousands of fans attempted to nab seats online.

Fans trying to score tickets must enter the Ticketek Marketplace queue before accessing the website. If there is a resale posted, they have milliseconds to click on the seats and secure them before another fan. The catch is the website only allows fans stay in the ticket area for about 10 minutes before booting the user to re-enter the queue and start all over.

New Tickets For Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Australia Are Set To Be Released Soon

A new batch of tickets for Taylor Swift's mega stadium tour will drop this week. Get all the details below.

Ria Lawrence

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tickets broke records with unprecedented demand when they went on sale in June but if you were one of those who spent hours in front of the computer looking at the blue line at the Ticketek Lounge going nowhere, you’re finally going to get one last shot at nabbing some tickets. A fresh batch of tickets for the giant stadium tour is dropping for all seven shows in both Sydney and Melbourne this Friday with some obstructed-view tickets that will start at $79.90 . Here’s everything you need to know.

When are new tickets for the Eras Tour released in Australia?

eras tour australia resale

Tickets will go on sale from Friday, November 10 at 10am for Sydney and 4pm for Melbourne . Tickets will be available to purchase via the Ticketek website until allocations are exhausted. Costs will range from AU $79-$379 . The Cruel Summer singer will perform a stacked 3-hour, 44-song setlist with Sabrina Carpenter as the supporting act in both cities.

Even better, Ticket has also announced an official ticket resale service will begin on Friday, November 24.

How does the Ticketek system work?

Surprisingly, Ticketek doesn’t actually have a queuing system and the selection of who gets tickets is completely random to ensure everyone has a fair chance at getting tickets. This means someone entering the lounge 2 hours after you has an equal chance of being selected to purchase tickets. In other words, it’s down to just luck.

However, there are some things you can do to ensure your best chances of getting some tickets. This includes creating a Tiketek account in advance and never refreshing the browser. Find the best tips to score your tickets to the Eras tour and best seats here .

February 16, 17 and 18 — Melbourne Cricket Ground February 23, 24, 25 and 26 — Sydney Accor Stadium

‘I will leave’: Star slams Aussie fans

Aussie Taylor Swift fans have sounded the alarm about a worrying scam in which hackers use stolen identities to swindle hopeful Swifties.

The ruthless scammers are taking advantage of rampant demand for tickets to the Australian leg of Swift’s Eras tour, selling fake tickets and robbing Aussies of their hard-earned cash.

First, the scammer hacks the Facebook account of an Australian. This makes the scam all the more cunning, because the victim believes their resale ticket is coming from someone they know and trust.

Facebook has tons of buy and sell groups for Taylor Swift tickets. This one has 42,000 members. Picture: Getty Images.

One Swift fan revealed details of the scam to 2GB radio, sharing how she was tricked.

Grace, a 20-year-old from Sydney, told host Ben Fordham she lost $1200 after seeing a “friend of a friend” selling four of the highly coveted tickets on Facebook.

“I messaged them and they sent a screenshot of the email confirmation of having bought these tickets. It had their name in it, it had the section of the tickets, it had four tickets,” she explained.

“None of my alarm bells were raised because that all looked above board to me.”

But as soon as Grace transferred $1200 to secure the tickets, the “friend” blocked her and cut off communication.

“I was like: ‘Oh God, this is ringing alarm bells now’,” she said.

Fearing the worst, Grace phoned up her friend and learned she wasn’t the only victim.

“When they finally answered they said, ‘Yeah, I’ve had six other calls like this today. My Facebook’s been hacked, that’s not me posting’,” Grace said.

The young fan called her bank but was told nothing could be done to get the cash back.

“They were sorry, but (said) I was just going to have to lose that money basically,” she explained.

Aussie Swifties have reported being scammed for fake tickets. Picture: Getty Images.

A second fan, Yin, was another Aussie Swiftie who missed out on the expensive tickets when they went on sale in Australia in June.

Yin, like Grace, took to Facebook to find a ticket being sold second-hand.

“I came across a Facebook group that claimed to have no scammers and sell legitimate Taylor Swift tickets. And I fell for it,” she said, explaining how she was duped.

“There seemed to be so many people selling tickets. I thought they were legitimate people.”

Yin began talking to a seller who shared an email that appeared to confirm they owned a real ticket.

She forked out $300 to secure it, before the person said she needed to buy two. So, Yin handed over another $300, taking her total spend to $600.

“Then they … blocked me and deleted all their messages to erase their steps ,” Yin said.

Nick was yet another Swift fan who was scammed by a hacker masquerading as a Facebook friend.

After he made contact, the scammer offered various tickets and even asked Nick how his family was doing, feigning a personal connection.

Nick lost $600 to the scam after he transferred the funds and the hacker vanished.

Swift broke Ticketek records back in June as millions of fans anxiously fought to get their hands on tickets to the Eras tour when it lands in Sydney and Melbourne.

Swifties want to know how to get last-minute Taylor Swift 'Eras Tour' tickets.

I Got Last-Minute Taylor Swift Eras Tour Tickets & You Can Too

Taylor, look what you made us do.

The great war is not just a Taylor Swift song, but what Swifties have been battling ever since tickets for the Eras Tour went on sale . However, you shouldn’t give up just yet. Instead of shaking it off, there are ways to get last-minute tour tickets. I should know, because I did it.

You’ve likely seen influencers who have been to multiple concerts while checking StubHub for resale tickets , and wondering how they are able to afford everything. With Swift recently kicking off the international leg of her tour , you have to factor in flights and hotel accommodations as well. Being a Swiftie is not cheap , but there are budget-friendly — and even free! — ways to get tickets. You just have to be willing to work for them.

Below, you’ll find all the methods to getting last-minute tickets to the Eras Tour — even some contests that will get you there for free and in style.

I Went The StubHub Route For My Eras Tour Tickets

This may be the more expensive route to secure last-minute Swift tickets, but it is the most accessible. If you’re banking prices going down, don’t! It used to be that you could refresh Ticketmaster or StubHub for resale tickets at a decent price a few hours before a show, but that’s not necessarily the case anymore. Now, you’ll see tickets with partial views and in the worst sections that are still overpriced after a concert has started.

I got last-minute tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

It’s a gamble you may not be willing to play. Instead, set a price range for yourself that you’d be willing to spend on tickets. The week before your show, keep refreshing sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, and even Gametime for resale tickets that are in that range. I set a price I was willing to pay before taxes and fees, and finally found one ticket while randomly checking StubHub right before bed. It can happen at any time of the day, so you have to be ready for it.

If you see something you’re willing to buy, go for it. You don’t want to be wishing you would’ve, could’ve, should’ve bought them once they’re gone. Just be mindful that certain international dates have rules on resale tickets .

Cities with a “lead booker” policy in place means those tickets are non-transferable, and the person who bought them must be present at the gate.

Ticketmaster May Drop Extra Tickets Before The Show, Too

Ticketmaster may drop last-minute tickets to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour for anyone looking in 2024.

Swifties have bad blood with Ticketmaster after they poorly handled the presale and canceled the general sale for The Eras Tour . During the U.S. leg of the tour, the company was also magically finding last-minute tickets to shows the week of and sometimes an hour after a show started . For anyone who doesn’t mind being glued to their computer and hitting the refresh button nonstop, you may want to keep checking Ticketmaster for spontaneous drops in 2024.

Some Swifties who were selected for verified fan presale have also reported that Ticketmaster has been sending out codes at least two weeks before each show as well for additional tickets. Just remember codes are tied to each Ticketmaster account , so if it wasn’t sent to you, you may not be able to use it.

Swifties on Twitter will let other fans know when Ticketmaster drops extra tickets, so it’s best to follow different accounts and turn on your notifications. One Twitter account that has been really great about keeping Swifties informed is Eras Tour Resell ( @ErasTourResell ).

You Can Find Fellow Swifties Selling Their Tickets At Face Value

Fans attending Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour know how to get last-minute tickets through Ticketmaster...

Eras Tour Resell has been doing the lord's work helping Swifties find tickets that aren’t a scam. Through their account, sellers can list extra tickets for The Eras Tour so that other Swifties can buy them instead of scalpers. They make sure to verify their listing, and encourage everyone to buy and sell their tickets for face value. While this is probably the cheapest way to buy last-minute Swift tickets, it is incredibly difficult.

Once a ticket is verified, Eras Tour Resell will tweet out all the information and who to DM to get it. Since their account has become so popular with nearly 231K followers, you have to be ready to jump on each post as soon as it goes up. That means you need to set Twitter notifications and have your phone on you at all times. Even if you are the first person to DM the seller, it’s not a guarantee they’ll pick you. The account also prioritizes tickets for shows that week, so if you’re looking for a concert next month, you probably won’t see it for awhile.

In addition to Swiftie resale accounts, look around Twitter, Craigslist, or even put a call out on your socials for tickets from other fans. Content creator and Swiftie Francis Dominic ( @francisdominiic ) has been to at least 12 shows already. When asked by one of his followers how he’s able to go to so many, he responded, “Ticketmaster, OfferUp, Twitter, Craigslist, and IG. I exhaust all of my resources.” The only downside to random resellers is you don’t have Eras Tour Resell to verify you’re not getting ripped off.

Lucky Ones Can Enter A Contest For Eras Tour Tickets

A Swiftie got last-minute Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets through a radio contest.

The cheapest way to snag last-minute Swift tickets is to win a contest. You’ve probably seen quite a few social media contests where you have to like, follow, and comment on an IG post in order to win tickets. While you may think the odds aren’t in your favor, there is still a chance.

Anna Tegarden ( @taylormermaidcat ) won tickets to one of Swift’s shows in Tampa, which is how she was able to see all three nights of the Eras Tour in Florida. Tegarden shares with Elite Daily, “I’m constantly entering contests and trying to win tickets. I’ll read the fine print to see if it’s an enter daily contest, or just a one-time entry.” She won her tickets through a radio contest where she had to call into a station after hearing two Swift songs in a row.

While Swift may be saying “So Long, London” on The Tortured Poets Department , you could be saying hello, thanks to Unforgettable Travel. The company has a Taylor Swift VIP Weekender Giveaway that will get you front row tickets to the Aug. 17 Eras Tour show at Wembley Stadium.

In addition to the two tickets, the winner will receive flights to London, a two-night stay at Savoy Hotel, a guided tour of Swift’s favorite spots , £600 (or roughly $750) of spending money, Eras Tour merch, and dinner at Sketch, one of Tay’s go-to restaurants .

To enter, fill out the form now through March 31. Follow @unforgettabletravelcompany on Instagram and comment on their pinned post for an additional entry. The winner will be announced on April 1, so you’ll have plenty of time to prepare for your show in August.

Swifties have to work to find last-minutes Eras Tour tickets to see Taylor Swift in 2024.

With all these methods, finding a ticket to the Eras Tour is like a part-time job. You have to be willing to work hard, keep your phone with you at all times, and always be on the lookout. If you really want to scream-sing the bridge to “Cruel Summer,” admire Swift twirling in her folklore dress, and be there as she plays your fave song during the surprise acoustic set , let the ticket games begin.

After she wraps up in Europe, Swift will stop in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis before wrapping up in Canada.

See the remaining U.S. dates here .

What is the Eras Tour set list?

The Eras Tour has featured a massive 45-song set list you can check out here . But speculation is swirling it won't look the same when Swift takes the stage in Paris.

Will Taylor Swift add 'The Tortured Poets Department' to her set list?

The tortured poet has been on hiatus keeping her stamina up by releasing a double album of 31 tracks. The 2-hours-and-2-minutes project broke a number of Billboard records as the superstar did zero press to promote it. Fans flocked to stores and streaming services to listen to all the songs from "Fortnight" to "The Manuscript."

Although the singer has not confirmed whether her 11th era album will be added to her Eras Tour set list, she did post a YouTube shorts video with two scenes that sent Easter egg decoders into a frenzy. In one of the shots, the singer is next to a railing where a "TTPD" logo appears to be (at 0:11). In the succeeding shot, her back-up dancers perform holding canes and wearing top hats, something they have not worn previously.

Swift's dancers and bandmates posted to their Instagram stories as they left for France last week. The singer did not appear at two media events with her boyfriend Travis Kelce: the Kentucky Derby and a Formula 1 race in Miami , Florida. Can I still get Eras Tour tickets?

Swift's show is completely sold out in Europe and North America. There are resale sites with tickets, but be wary of scams. The best way to avoid getting swindled is continuously checking links on Swift's website . There are some for resale on the sites verified by her camp.

Singapore was a hotbed for fans who traveled thousands of miles only to get turned away at the venue. In Tokyo and Australia, last-minute ticket drops happened a few days — without announcement — ahead of the shows.

Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis — the three U.S. cities Swift is visiting in the fall — have some of the heftiest price tags with Canada closely behind. In may be cheaper to travel to Warsaw, Poland, or Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Here's a list of cities with the cheapest resale tickets, according to travel website  Islands.com .

Who are the opening acts?

Paramore launched the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, so it's fitting the American rock band is opening the tour's second year. The act will open for Swift for 51 shows across Europe . The band was dubbed the 2024 Record Store Day global ambassador and surprised fans in Nashville the weekend following the release of "The Tortured Poets Department."

When the tour comes back to North America in October , Swift's opening act will be Gracie Abrams.

Where can I watch if I don't have tickets?

The Eras Tour is one of the first tours that has been followed, globally, by thousands of fans on digital platforms. Fans dedicate part of their concert experience to livestreaming as Swift performs. A few Swifties have learned how to host their own shows over social media including Tess Bohne , known as the livestream queen. Bohne goes live for (almost) every show pulling streams from Instagram and TikTok. When a livestream goes down, she fills the time with banter.

On YouTube, user @TaylorSwiftHockeyBro also livestreams the three-hour show, and on Twitch, @folkleric , is a host fans follow.

There is also an app, Swift Alert , that notifies fans who only want to watch certain eras like the acoustic, surprise set. The app sends out push alerts if there are any major announcements.

What secret songs are left?

For the past 83 shows, Swift has played an acoustic set she customizes at each stop with a guitar and piano performance. In 2024, the Eras Tour star added mashups of her songs for each stop. Here are the songs she has yet to perform:

  • "Taylor Swift" (debut album): "Mary's Song" and "A Perfectly Good Heart"
  • "Fearless": "The Way I Loved You," "Change," "Superstar," "We Were Happy," "That's When," "Don't You" and "Bye Bye Baby"
  • "Red": "Girl At Home," "Ronan," "Forever Winter" and "Run"
  • "1989": "Sweeter Than Fiction"
  • "Reputation": "I Did Something Bad"
  • "Lover": "London Boy," "Soon You'll Get Better" and "It's Nice to Have a Friend"
  • "Folklore": "Hoax"
  • "Evermore": "Happiness" and "Closure"
  • "Midnights": "Paris" and "Glitch"
  • "The Tortured Poets Department": all 31 tracks

Will Taylor Swift perform in 2025?

There have been many rumors that Swift will continue her show in 2025, but they are only rumors. Nothing has been announced for next year, and as of now, the tour will end in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Dec. 8.
