Outright Games and developer PHL Collective released Ben 10: Power Trip on Steam PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. The 3D adventure game stars Cartoon Network hero Ben 10 alongside rival Kevin 11 in an original story.

Ben 10: Power Trip takes the titular morphing hero into Europe as he discovers four mysterious crystals and battles the forces of the evil magician Hex. Ben comes equipped with his 10 powerful alien forms to battle enemies and solve puzzles. Ben will be able collect power-ups to upgrade each alien as he explores cities, forests, and mountains of Europe.

Power Trip also features two player local co-op via Ben’s rival and frenemy Kevin 11.

“Ben 10 has had such a longstanding presence in kids’ entertainment, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to release a brand-new interactive experience at such an exciting time for the franchise” said Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. “This is our second Ben 10 game we’ve released working with Cartoon Network and we’ve gone bigger and better than ever before, delivering the definitive Ben 10 video game for fans and newcomers of all ages to enjoy.”

Ben 10 is one of the most popular animated franchises on Cartoon Network. The most recent movie, Ben 10 vs The Universe: The Movie, premiered last week, and features Ben going into space while Gwen and Grandpa Max protect Earth.

Here’s 18 Minutes of Ben 10: Power Trip Gameplay

Coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on Friday 9th October, Ben 10: Power Trip puts players in the shoes of the titular Ben Tennyson as he sets off on a new adventure. A European camping trip with his grandfather goes awry when the Evil Hex shows his face.

The peaceful forests and villages that Ben’s taking his vacation in find themselves overcome with monster. But not to worry: Ben and his Omnitrix can save the day.

Ben 10: Power Trip puts players in an open world filled with secrets to find, monsters to defeat and plenty of collectibles to pick up. Outside of the main mission, players will find themselves spoilt for choice with side quests. Simply running (or scooting) around the world will uncover a new area to explore.

The video below shows us playing through the first 18 minutes of the game, and our initial impressions are very positive indeed. It’s a bright, colourful game perfect for younger players – especially those who are fans of the series. The world’s a joy to explore, and there’s a wacky cast of characters to meet, many of whom are wonderfully voiced.

How to use x360ce emulator with Ben 10: Power Trip! on PC

In this tutorial you will find steps to make x360ce work with Ben 10: Power Trip! . This method also works with any game – just do the same easy steps, no special skills needed to make any controller work as an Xbox 360 gamepad. Emulator allows your controller (joystick, wheel, gamepad, etc.) to operate as the most common device, recognized by most of the games without any additional settings and workarounds.

1. The first step is to download x360ce zip file from official site. You have to select 32 or 64 bit version (same as the version of Ben 10: Power Trip! you use). If you don’t know the version of your game or download wrong one accidentally, you will be notified later and have a chance to use another version.

• x360ce 32-bit Download – for 32-bit games
• x360ce 64-bit Download – for 64-bit games

2. Now we have to find the installation folder of your game . You can easily do this by looking into game shortcut settings or finding the game in your Steam library list. If you choose the Steam variant, right click the game name and select “Properties”.

3. Navigate to “Local files” tab and press “Browse local files...” button.

4. Now you need to find the folder with Ben 10: Power Trip! executable . In the example picture they are located in Binaries / Retail subfolder. You need to extract downloaded x360ce ZIP file to folder with your game executable file.

5. Click on x360ce exe file with the right mouse button and select “Run as administrator” from dropdown menu.

6. You will see window with warning – “xinput 1_3.dll was not found. This file is required for emulator to function properly.” Don’t worry , just click “Create” button to make them appear.

7. When x360ce will inform you that new device was detected, use automatic search for settings from internet – just hit “Next” button.

8. Click “Finish” , when installation completed.

9. Hit the “Auto” button to make all settings set to defaults. Confirm changes by clicking “Yes” in popup window. All the buttons will be filled automatically.

It's difficult to score a release such as Ben 10: Power Trip!, as it belongs to a unique class of games that are known for being half-baked and it's primarily marketed towards children. As far as tie-in games go, Ben 10: Power Trip! is pretty decent. The character variety makes for some nicely varied control styles, while the open-world design allows for a strong gameplay loop centred around chasing quest. That said, Ben 10: Power Trip! also has several glaring flaws – like shallow gameplay and poor performance – that really sink its image. If your child happens to be a fan of the show, Ben 10: Power Trip! has enough redeeming qualities to be worth the punt, but we'd advise everyone else to take a pass.

Ben 10: Power Trip is a game squarely aimed at a younger audience, so don’t expect to find a challenging and deep experience. In our opinion, though, it absolutely nails it as a kids game. It offers an engaging story mode packed with fun and varied missions, as well as a big open world that’s ripe for exploring. Throw into the mix the well-voiced familiar characters, the range of skills offered up by Ben’s aliens and the wealth of side content, and you’ve got an excellent entry point into the genre of open-world adventures.

It definitely doesn't give a good first impression but as you progress in Ben 10: Power Trip, you'll be impressed by its wide variety of abilities that make playing it a blast. I recommend it to Ben 10 fans and 3D platformer enthusiasts alike.

Ben 10: Power Trip delivers an adult sized game with a child friendly veneer. The co-op might be partially hamstrung with technical issues and a large chunk of the game might feel mundane but this is the best Ben 10 game to date with an open world that kids love to play around in.

Ben 10: Power Trip is not the most beautiful and well-made of the hero's games, but we have to recognize the merits of the title for bringing much of the essence of current open world games, even if in a more simplified way, to a title clearly aimed at children in a very interesting and efficient way. It is a game that, without a doubt, I would love to play in my 10 years if it had been released some 10 years ago.

The math behind why harris picked walz and why she may regret it.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz hadn’t been in the top tier of potential running mates for Kamala Harris until the past few weeks. But his selection to join the vice president on the Democratic ticket underscores both the power of social media and of being relatively affable and nondivisive.

So what took Walz from, nationally speaking, a relative unknown to major-party vice presidential nominee? You might just call the entire thing “weird.”

Recall how Democrats started calling Republicans Donald Trump and JD Vance “weird” a few weeks ago. The attack might have felt like something out of high school, but the crazy thing is that it seems to have worked .

A look at Google trend data reveals a recent increase in searches for the word “weird.” More than that, the topics associated with “weird” were Make America Great Again, the Republican Party, Vance and Walz.

Why Walz? He’s been credited as the first one to have started calling Republicans weird in any large-scale way.

And we know that the Harris campaign was paying attention because it fired off at least one email missive that suggested that the “weird” attacks against the Republican ticket were driving the online conversation .

The fact that Harris selected a candidate who does well online shouldn’t be surprising – this is the campaign that has embraced “coconut tree” and “ brat .” Harris has also done very well on TikTok, which is something Joe Biden ’s campaign couldn’t do.

But is the Walz pick indicative of a campaign that is too online?

That’s a fair question given that Harris skipped over Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro in favor of Walz. Shapiro, who was long seen as a front-runner for the vice presidential pick, divided a lot of the online left over his perceived views on the Israelis and Palestinians.

Notably, Walz shares many of those same views on the issue but received far less backlash than Shapiro, who is Jewish.

The fact that Walz faced virtually no opposition from any of the major Democratic Party factions almost certainly helped him. After all, the Harris campaign has been riding a wave of good emotions since she became the presumptive Democratic nominee.

Walz’s nondivisive manner on a larger scale seemed to play on a smaller scale as well. Harris had good personal chemistry with him and particularly liked his “happy go lucky” attitude, according to CNN reporting.

Getting along with a running mate and not potentially dividing the party with the choice is reason enough to pick someone.

One of the first rules when it comes to a vice presidential pick is to “Do no harm.” Harris likely did no harm with this pick. Walz served 12 years in the US House and is currently in his second term as governor . He can’t be attacked for having little experience, unlike his Republican counterpart Vance, who is the least liked vice presidential nominee coming out of his party’s convention on record.

A selection not without risk

The big question now is whether Harris left points on the board by choosing Walz instead of Shapiro.

Minnesota is likely not going to be competitive this fall. No Republican nominee for president has carried the state since 1972 – it’s Democrats’ longest presidential winning streak (outside of Washington, DC). And polling in the North Star State since Harris entered the race has shown that the streak is likely to continue.

Pennsylvania, on the other hand, is almost certainly a must-win state for Harris if she wants to be president. In fact, it is probably the most important swing state this cycle, and the polling there has been very tight.

Shapiro currently holds a 61% favorable rating in Pennsylvania and outperformed Biden’s 2020 baseline by 14 points in 2022 .

Whether that would have been enough to propel a Harris-Shapiro ticket in Pennsylvania this fall is a question mark, though political science literature suggests it very well could have .

What we can say, though, is that Walz is not likely to help Harris with many swing voters. He did less than a point better than Biden in Minnesota when he won reelection in 2022. In fact, Shapiro seems to have done better with White voters without a college degree in Pennsylvania than Walz did with the same demographic in his state two years ago.

And even if Walz had been an electoral juggernaut, it remains to be seen whether he can help the Democratic ticket outside his home state.

If Harris ends up losing Pennsylvania and the election by a small margin, it will be one of history’s great “what-ifs.” Did she not choose Shapiro because she was afraid of the online left?

Harris, of course, is hoping the election won’t be that close. She seems to have momentum, and the Walz pick will probably do nothing to impede it.
