  • Dress Code: Regard the sacredness of Ayodhya’s sanctuaries and devout destinations by dressing modestly. Keep in mind to expel your shoes when entering sanctuary premises as a sign of love. Take comfortable and lightweight clothing, particularly amid the hotter months, to guarantee a comfortable and aware visit.

This permits you to dodge swarms and involves a quiet climate, idealised for thought and reflection. Furthermore, going by sanctuaries amid promising events or celebrations can improve your otherworldly encounter and offer interesting bits of knowledge about nearby traditions and traditions.
  • Money: Whereas Ayodhya could be a bustling city with present-day civilities, numerous neighbourhood merchants may still favour cash exchanges over credit or debit cards. To dodge any inconvenience, ensure simply carry adequate cash within the neighbourhood money. ATMs are accessible in Ayodhya, but it’s fitting to pull back cash in progress to dodge any last-minute hassle.
  • Language: English and Hindi are broadly spoken in Ayodhya, but learning several fundamental expressions within the nearby dialect can go a long way in upgrading your intelligence with local people and exploring the city more effectively. Popular Ayodhya Varanasi Packages

Varanasi ayodhya package - experience utmost spiritualty.

Varanasi and Ayodhya are two of the most culturally rich cities in India.  Varanasi , also known as Kashi, is one of the holiest cities for Hindu devotees. It is located on the banks of the river Ganges and is popular for its numerous ghats. Pilgrims can also club their trip to Varanasi with other holy cities and book a Varanasi Ayodhya Allahabad tour package from MakeMyTrip. On the other hand, Ayodhya is an ancient city in the state of Uttar Pradesh that is revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama. Many pilgrims book Varanasi Ayodhya tour package every year to explore the holy town and its wonders.

Best Places to Visit in Varanasi and Ayodhya

Tourists booking a Varanasi Ayodhya tour package can experience the best attractions in both cities with a well-planned itinerary. A Varanasi Ayodhya tour itinerary is incomplete without including these top tourist places in Ayodhya & Varanasi:

•     Kashi Vishwanath Temple : The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is an important religious site for Hindus. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, which are believed to be his most sacred abodes. The temple has a long and rich history, having undergone several renovations over the years. It is an important pilgrimage site for tourists booking a trip to Varanasi, Allahabad & Ayodhya.

•     Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat : Tourists and pilgrims on a trip to Varanasi, Allahabad & Ayodhya should not miss out on the sacred ceremony of Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Located just 7 minutes from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, this landmark is worth adding to any Varanasi Ayodhya tour package. The Ganga Aarti begins in the evening, depending on the time of sunset. This is a spectacular sight to behold and is a worthy inclusion in any Ayodhya to Varanasi tour package.

•     Ayodhya Ram Mandir : Tourists planning a Varanasi to Ayodhya one-day tour package should include the Ayodhya Ram Mandir in their Varanasi Ayodhya tour itinerary. The temple is dedicated to Lord Rama. The Ram Mandir is being built on the revered Ram Janmabhoomi, where Lord Rama was born. It is also very easy to reach the temple from the Ayodhya Railway Station.

•    Kanak Bhawan : Travellers booking a Varanasi Ayodhya tour package should not miss out on this historic destination. The Kanak Bhawan is located in Ramkot, less than 2 km from the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The Bhawan, now turned into a temple, is considered a gift to Devi Sita after her marriage with Lord Rama. Tourists on an Ayodhya darshan tour can visit the temple to seek blessings during the time of the aarti.

•    Saryu Bank : The Deepotsav in Ayodhya made history in 2022 by setting a Guinness Book World Record of lighting 6,06,569 diyas on the Ram Ki Pairi ghat located on the Saryu Banks. This is a serene spot worth including in a Varanasi Ayodhya tour package. Tourists can witness an equally magnificent sight if they book packages coinciding with the grand Deepotsav in Ayodhya. It is scheduled on 23rd October this year.

Depending on the duration of the holiday, tourists can include the above-mentioned places in their Varanasi Ayodhya tour package. A visit to Ayodhya Ram Mandir with  Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a great option for those on a short trip to these holy destinations.

Best Time to Go Varanasi and Ayodhya

The Kashi Ayodhya tour package can be booked throughout the year. However, the  best time to book a Varanasi Ayodhya tour package is from October to March. During this time, the weather is pleasant and cool, allowing pilgrims to comfortably explore nearby temples and other attractions in both these cities.

Ayodhya, located in Uttar Pradesh, India, is a megacity steeped in history and artistic significance. It’s famed as the motherland of Lord Rama, a central figure in Hinduism’s grand Ramayana. This sacred megacity has been a lamp of spiritual devotion for glories.

Motherland of Lord Rama: Ayodhya holds a unique place in Hindu tradition as the motherland of Lord Rama, considered the seventh icon of Lord Vishnu. His life and training in the Ramayana have profoundly told Indian culture and temples.

Kanak Bhawan sometimes referred to as Sone-ka-Ghar, is a shrine to Lord Rama and his wife Mata Sita. It is renowned for its magnificent symbols and a tribute to the devotion of the megacity to Lord Rama.

Treta Ke Thakur: The statues of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana are kept in this tabernacle. It is thought that this is where Lord Rama carried out the Ashwamedha Yagna

Nageshwarnath Temple: : It is believed that Lord Rama personally erected this ancient Shiva tabernacle while he was in Ayodhya.

The Ramcharitmanas, a monumental poem that recounts the biography of Lord Rama, was written by the renowned minstrel- saint Goswami Tulsidas, and is commemorated in the Tulsi Smarak Bhawan museum

Guptar Ghat: The location where it is thought that Lord Rama bathed in the Sarayu River while he was in exile

Beyond its temples and historical landmarks, Ayodhya has a significant artistic legacy. For many years, this megacity has served as an inspiration for literature, art, and carnivals. As a result, the annual festival of Diwali, often known as the "jubilee of lights," has special significance because it commemorates Lord Rama's homecoming to Ayodhya following his victory over the demon king Ravana

Coming soon, private train tour package from Kerala for 'Ayodhya darshan'

The inaugural journey is scheduled for June 4; from Thiruvananthapuram to Madgaon

Aparna Sajinath

Offering three exclusive tour packages to Goa, Mumbai and a religious trip to Ayodhya, Varanasi and Prayagraj, a first-of-its-kind private train service has been launched for visitors from Kerala. The private train tour package has been introduced by Kochi-based Princy World Travels in association with the Indian Railways' 'Bharat Gaurav Yatra' initiative.

It is a government-approved joint venture with the Chennai-centric S.R.M.P.R. Group, which has ownership of these trains. Taking inspiration from the concept of chartered flight, this innovative venture offers a cost-effective alternative for the common man to explore places. With free travel insurance provided, the trains are well equipped with about 60 staff on board and a live CCTV and GPS tracking system is present.

Hygienic restrooms, ala carte dining, tailored bedding, on-board food trollies and Wi-Fi services are also available. A well-trained medical team made up of paramedical staff and a 24-hour emergency response team will be on board, remarked Princy Rails tour partner Miju C. Moidu. An infotainment app for tourists is in the works and will soon be accessible, with boarding available at major Kerala stations. Reservations can be made via the dedicated portal of Princy World Travels.

The inaugural journey of this package is scheduled for June 4, departing from Thiruvananthapuram to Madgaon. The highlights of this 4-day package include a luxurious two-day stay at Goa’s premium hotels, sightseeing, D.J. parties, a casino, and a boat cruise. Dr. Devika Menon, Director of Princy World Travel Pvt. Ltd., confirmed that the trips to the other two destinations will also commence in June itself, and there will be one train each to all three destinations every month. The trip to Mumbai consists of four days with the city sightseeing and visits to the residences of celebrities.

The Ayodhya-Varanasi-Prayagraj journey is set to commence in the first week of June. This 8-day expedition consists of 2 days in Ayodhya with Hanuman Garhi, Ram Lalla Darshan and Sarayu Aarti. Then the next journey to Kashi will have visits to Kashi Viswanath and Vishalakshi temples, Annapurna Temple, a boat ride and Ganga Aarti and the Prayagraj visit consists of a visit and bath at Triveni Sangam and back to Kerala. The food options available on this spiritual journey will be completely vegetarian, unlike the other two packages.
