Both Granada and Valencia are popular destinations to visit in the autumn with plenty of activities. Most visitors come to Valencia for the hiking trails, the city's sights and attractions, the shopping scene, and the natural beauty of the area during these months.

05/28/15 07:05 AM. 2768 posts. Valencia is a lovely city. Granada is my favorite place in Europe. If you can make the transit work, and get Alhambra tickets, then Granada hands down. But if you can't, Valencia will be nice. Granada will give you a reason to return to Spain! Granada to Madrid by train is maybe 4 hours.
