So to get it work without the disk I used the UK ISO Version and extracted the files next I changed the Thomas3D compatibility mode to Windows 95 in properties then I double clicked Thomas3D and after skipping through 2 printer warnings it started up without a disk error.

Steps to download: 1) Type www.myabandonware.com 2) In the search bar, type Railway Adventures and click on UK ISO Version containing 368 MB. You can play it without the CD. 3) After download, extract the WinRAR zip file and click on the extracted file. 4) Click on InstallCheck application. Accept all the Terms and Conditions. Rob, just click on download button and then select full RIP UK Version which is of 355 MB. When download is complete. You will see that a 'keytop' has been formed. Just click on it and find the option 'InstallCheck'. Click on it and the game will be downloaded.

Degugs, you know what? i was searching options for making the game playable, and the only option is CRACKing the game :/, its the only way, and you know how i figured out? i have a copy of Thomas saves the Day for PC and, it didnt work, so i searched for weeks, until i found a proper crack, it was weird and it would not save, but hey, that's easily fixed with Owner's Perm. so, i Think you'll have to find yourself a cracker/hacker hope this is useful for ya! -Felipe

If extracting the game files and then burning them on a disk won't work, than I am at a loss for how to do it without a true disk, but at least the files are accessible so that one day, someone could get it to work.

Update: I have recently sent in a new iso file that was copied directly from the disk. If all else fails, I recommend attempting to burn THESE files onto a blank disk and using THAT to play the game. I have not tried this myself, I may when I have the time, but feel free to beat me to the job. Good luck!

ok so before you even start to download a pre-2001 windows game grab VMware for free learn how it works, search for windows ME VMware image get it working to your liking (install guest additions etc) this set up should be able to play dos games etc, but dos box is still better than running dos games on windows, that is a whole other monster you should google, but most of the games I've found on here post dos pre XP run great on ME (its ME so its not as stable as NT but i chose it because its running on a DOS compatibility layer like Windows9x)

For those still trying to install, I have a theory that I have not had the chance to test yet. Burn these files onto a disk, then remove and re-insert the disk. Hopefully this will trick the game into thinking that it has the disk.

To those who are having install troubles: I am the one who contributed these files, the game only worked for me while I had the disk in the computer, most likely some security feature of the game. However, I have heard that running this on an older version of windows (such as xp, 95 or 7) will bypass this. I have contacted the owner of the site and I hope that either he or someone can figure this out because this is truly an amazing game.

Most of the older games were ran by Adobe Flash Player, which made them hard to play due to the deprecation of Flash Player at the end of 2020. However, the swf files for most of the games were saved in the Internet Archive and can be played using the right tools and modifications for Flash Player, though not all games were saved. There are four buttons to control Cranky. Down, which brings Cranky's hook down to the hopper, Scoop, which scoops the rocks, Swing, which swings Cranky's arm towards Mavis and the Troublesome Truck, and Drop, which drops the rocks into the Troublesome Truck.

The player must time dropping the rocks into the Troublesome Truck as Mavis is moving it back and forth.

Harold's Balloon Adventure is a game where the player has to collect balloons by pressing the up and down arrow keys.

• Racing Engines uses Series 3 production reference images of Thomas and Percy.
• Thomas' Track Game uses Series 3 production reference images of Sir Topham Hatt and a promotional image of Thomas from Thomas and the Magic Railroad .
• Diesel 10 is simply referred to as "Diesel".
• Cranky has a grabber attachment in Cranky at the Quarry.
• In Know Your Engines after fixing Oliver's blue funnel and smokebox, it says "Oliver's funnel is not blue and his whistle is not pink." However, it should also state that his smokebox is not blue and his safety valve isn't pink either.
• In Find James' Features, James' eyes are placed slightly above his crow's feet and he has Thomas's Gold Rush whistle but in a high pitch.
• Mavis makes puffing sounds in Cranky at the Quarry despite being a diesel engine.
