Itinerary of Sundarban Tour Package for 3 Days 2 Nights

1st day- (Khulna – Sundarban Visit): Our tour operator will receive you from your hotel or bus/train station in Khulna for Sundarban visit. Early in the morning, tour operator will take you to Khulna launch station to get on the boat to start toward the Sundarban forest trip. In this tour, we welcome you to Sundarban adventure cruise. The boat will start the cruise to the south. After few hours of cruising the boat will stop at a forest station to do official work of the forest. We pick up armed forest guards to accompany us.  After that boat will continue the cruise and arrive at Kotka forest station late in the afternoon to anchor for overnight stay. If time permits you will do some activities in the forest. Overnight in the boat.

2nd day -(Sundarban Visit): Discover the amazing biodiversity of Sundarban. After sunrise we explore the narrow creeks with a wooden rowboat allowing a close look at the unique mangrove fauna and flora. After breakfast the guide will offer a variety of activities together with an easy walk to the pristine seashore facing the bay of Bengal or hike through the mangroves. In the afternoon there will be more tour activities. Overnight in the boat.

3rd day- (Sundarban Visit- Khulna): This is return journey.  You will also visit some places. Depending on the surge schedule then we will begin the return at the high tide cruising the whole day and arrive in Khulna in the late afternoon. Tour ends.

Tour Itinerary: 

Day-1: Dhaka – Bagerhat – Mongla – Sundarban ( 06:30AM to 7:30 PM )

At 06:30 AM drive to visit the vegetables & flowers wholesale market to load your camera with the way people’s expressions act.

Old Dhaka tour and car drive to visit Bagerhat city of Mosque ( World heritage site) before checking in our tourist boat in Mongla. In the evening the boat started its cruise towards Andharmanik forest range.

Day-2:   Andharmanik – Kachikhali Wildlife Sanctuary

Early in the morning, the boat starts its cruise towards Kachikhali, the boat will cross many fascinating scenery while you may imagine sighting a crocodile basking in the sun, a herds of deer may be amazed by seeing under the trees or birds of prey make your journey memorable, if you lucky may found a tiger crossing the canal.

This is why – the Sundarbans is the thrilling ecological Mangrove forest of biodiversity where surviving diverse wildlife both terrestrial and aquatic species in presence of the ferocious Tiger are surviving in the act of balancing the ecological environment.

*  Late in the afternoon, walk through Kachikhali wildlife viewpoint.

* a significant silent canal cruise will be arranged for sighting the wildlife both terrestrial and aquatic from your close while an abundance of bird species can be sighted that increase the beauty of the canal scenery.

Day-03: Kachikhali and Katka Wildlife Sanctuary Expeditions

The day is most important vicarious experiences, the day activities are –

• Exploring the Kachikhali wildlife viewpoint after breakfast, an adventure trail from Kachikhali to Katka maximum 8km through dense forest and miles of silvery sands along the ocean is a very breathtaking adventure which may imagine by wild animals and make your time more enjoyable at Katka beach.
•  In the afternoon on arrival at Katka, you will be taken to the ship for lunch.
• At around 03:00 PM, nature treks in the Tiger point where many deer and monkeys are frequent habitats to survive under the keora trees. This place along the Bay of Bengal is captivating and threaded to travelers whereas Tiger often roars beyond the Tiger hill.
• Before sunset, we arrange a silent boat cruise through creeks to see the wildlife from very close.

Day 1: Harberia Eco-Tourism & Kochikhali

Early in the morning, our guide will pick up from Khulna or Mongla into ship and starts its cruise towards the Sundarbans, on the way the cruise through water bodies of the forest, we walk through the wooden foot trail of Herbaria Eco tourism center where you can look the mangrove forest and its existing wildlife. On the way to Katka, you may be intrigued to see a Tiger crossing the canal, a crocodile basking in the sun at the mud bank, or playing with birds of prey. enjoy the playful activities of macaque and deer may be spotted under the trees. its common features of which, Make a small boat canal cruise if we get time before sunset. Night stay at Kochikhlai on the boat.

Start your day with a small boat cruise through the creeks and experience the sound of birds and watch wildlife in front of your eyes. After breakfast, a journey from Kochikhali to Katka would be a wonderful experience of watching wildlife. Walk inside the deep fores t, climb to the watchtower and go for  Jamtola Sea Beach  before lunch. In the afternoon on arrival at the Katka Forest area, to explore Tiger & Deer points where many deer and monkeys are common habitats to survive under the Keora trees. Enjoy sunset at the Bay of Bengal and B-B-Q dinner on the boat. Night stay on the boat.

On the last day of the adventure, make a canal cruise in the morning, visit a fishing village and experience their lifestyle.  Watch Dolphins at Daingmari range and cruise toward Karamjal Crocodile breeding center (Zoo). After having lunch/evening, depart from the boat at Khulna/Mongla and finish the amazing expedition to the largest Mangrove forest.

• The itinerary could be changed because of tides, daylight hours, moon phase, and weather. But we’ll cover all the mentioned places as per the itinerary.
• Rocket Steamer is not available on Friday.
• The small boats are best for the Sundarban cruise. We organize a private basis tour with the accommodation of 4-10 people with a reserved boat. The room size is quite small, no running hot water, electricity is supplied by the battery, and the small generator to charge up the electrical devices. But it’s comfortable to spend days with the facilities.
• We make the food on the boat by the experienced chef during the trip.
• The quantity of mosquitoes is more sometimes. You must carry mosquito repellent for the trip.
• No phone signal works inside the deeper forest. But at some point, you will get a phone signal to call the emergency. If you use Bangladeshi TeleTalk SIM, we’ll get better coverage in a remote area like Kotka.
• The chance of seeing tigers is very rare in the Sundarbans. The lucky one gets the chance of it.
• Make yourself silent for the boat trip or walking into the forest. The best way to explore Sundarban is to keep silent and look.

1st. Day: Our vessel awaiting in Khulna Rupsha ferry ghat early in the morning within 6:00 am. Then start cruise towards the Sundarban forest. On the way, the boat will stop at Dhangmari / Chandpai Forest station. Take the permit & pay the fees and take 2 forest armed guard then visit Harabia Forest Office. The cruising will continue till Kotka upon arrival.

2nd. Day: Very early in the morning take the small boat for cruise through the small canal for bird watching trip inside forest. Back to the ship and take breakfast then walk through the Mangrove forest and climbing the watch tower to Jamtala sea-beach for sunbath, back to ship then the boat will resume its journey towards the Forest which will continue till Kochikhali.Upon arrival, the accompanying Guide will lead you towards the Kochikhali Forest Office, where you will find plenty of deer, Monkey, birds etc. Back to the boat, snacks will be served. To appreciate and to view the most precious species of Bangladesh’s wildlife, thousands of visitors make their way to Karamjol, a ranger station deep in the forest that also serves as a deer-breeding center. Bangladesh has some exquisite wildlife species that are unique to the country, and Karamjol is one of the gateways to the majestic wildlife sanctuary, Sundarban.

Visitors who are interested in catching a glimpse of the breathtaking wildlife of Bangladesh at Karamjol and Sundarban must first gain permission from the Forest Officer before entering the forest, and vaccines against Cholera must be taken before leaving for Karamjol. Other recommended items for the trip include dressing according to the tropical climate, comfortable walking shoes or boots with rubber soles, sufficient drinking water, insect repellent, a medical kit, anti-diarrhea medication and anit-malarial medication is also suggested.

From Karamjol, guided tours of the Sundarban Wildlife Sanctuary can be arranged. In the year 1966, the 38 500 square kilometers of Sundarban was declared a wildlife sanctuary and, therefore, hunting in this area is strictly prohibited and illegal. The preservation and conservation of rare and endangered species, such as the Royal Bengal Tigers, are the primary concern of this national park. Sundarban is proud of the fact that they now have an estimated four hundred Royal Bengal Tigers that live in peace within the sanctuary and the spotted deer population has risen to approximately thirty thousand individuals.

Program: 3 Days & 2 Nights. 

1st. Day:   Our vessel awaiting in Khulna Rupsha ferry ghat early in the morning within 6:00 am. Then start cruise towards the Sundarban forest. On the way, the boat will stop at Dhangmari /  Chandpai Forest station. Take the permit & pay the fees and take 2 forest armed guard then visit Harabia Forest Office.  The cruising will continue till Kotka upon arrival.

2nd. Day:   Very early in the morning take the small boat for cruise through the small canal for bird watching trip inside forest. Back to the ship and take breakfast then walk through the Mangrove forest and climbing the watch tower to Jamtala sea-beach for sunbath, back to ship  then the boat will resume its journey towards the Forest which will continue till Kochikhali.Upon arrival, the accompanying Guide will lead you towards the Kochikhali Forest Office, where you will find plenty of deer, Monkey, birds etc. Back to the boat, snacks will be served. Situated on the lower end of the Gangetic West Bengal, it is also the world’s largest estuarine forest. The Sunderbans is criss-crossed by hundreds of creeks and tributaries. It is one of the most attractive and alluring places remaining on earth, a truly undiscovered paradise for anyone.Sundarban National park is one of the popular visiting place for the visitors.

Karmajal is one of the wonderful visiting place in sundarban. To appreciate and to view the most precious species of Bangladesh’s wildlife, thousands of visitors make their way to Karamjol, a ranger station deep in the forest that also serves as a deer-breeding center. Bangladesh has some exquisite wildlife species that are unique to the country, and Karamjol is one of the gateways to the majestic wildlife sanctuary, Sundarban.

Visitors who are interested in catching a glimpse of the breathtaking wildlife of Bangladesh at Karamjol and Sundarban must first gain permission from the Forest Officer before entering the forest, and vaccines against Cholera must be taken before leaving for Karamjol. Other recommended items for the trip include dressing according to the tropical climate, comfortable walking shoes or boots with rubber soles, sufficient drinking water, insect repellent, a medical kit, anti-diarrhea medication and anit-malarial medication is also suggested.

From Karamjol, guided tours of the Sundarban Wildlife Sanctuary can be arranged. In the year 1966, the 38 500 square kilometers of Sundarban was declared a wildlife sanctuary and, therefore, hunting in this area is strictly prohibited and illegal. The preservation and conservation of rare and endangered species, such as the Royal Bengal Tigers, are the primary concern of this national park. Sundarban is proud of the fact that they now have an estimated four hundred Royal Bengal Tigers that live in peace within the sanctuary and the spotted deer population has risen to approximately thirty thousand individuals.

Visitors will be able to feast their eyes on a vast range of mammal, insects, bird species (260 species), reptiles and fish (120 species). Wildlife enthusiast can look forward to viewing Gangetic River Dophins, Salt-Water Crocodiles, deer, wild boar, ducks, sandpipers, moths, monkeys, snakes, foxes and the ever elusive and graceful Royal Bengal Tiger. The tranquility of the dense forests and peaceful waters transports visitors into a magical wildlife kingdom.

Trails of numerous marine and land creatures are found on the beach. The East Kochikhali Khal and Supati khal are famous as the entrance of Tiger to Kochikhali. Boating along the canals criss-crossing the area  provides tourists with the opportunity to spot basking crocodiles, deer, lizards, wild boar and lots of birds . There is also a rest house at Kachikhali.

The Harbaria is a house of Tiger. It is most attractive and dangerous place of Sundarban. It is located beside the river Poshur. It is under Chadpai range of Sundarban. The Sundarbans National Park situated in the Harbaria area. There are famous Royel bengal tiger & Spotted deer as well as many other wild animals and birds inHarbaria. Climate: Full monsoon is from June to September. The annual rainfall average between 65″ and 70″. During ebb tide the forest becomes bare by 6-7 feet and at high tide (30 miles and hour) the entire territory of the forest floats on water. Best Weather for Visit: The winter season from October to February is the best time to visit Bangladesh. How to Reach: From Dhaka to Jessore / Khulna/Bagherhat city via Air or Bus or Train and then to Mongla by bus. Then reach to Sundarbans by boat of or launches. Where to stay: There are also several private hotels and restaurants in Mongla town to stay and have food. But it is also possible to stay in launch at night.

The Sundarbans is a vast forest which is mainly situated in Satkhira district under Khulna division. Sundarbans has some amazing places to visit and Jamtola Sea-beach is one of them. Welcome to sunderban.

Arrival at Khulna in the morning at around 06:00 am, and will be transferred to our boat and immediately the boat will start cruising towards the Sundarbans Forest. Arrive Kotka wildlife sanctuary in the afternoon. Upon arrival hiking in the Kotka forest area to see wildlife and forest. Back to the boat in the evening. Overnight on the boat.

Jungle safari

Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat to see the wildlife and feel the forest from very close. After breakfast Jungle walk, beach activities etc will be offered. At around 1:30 pm start cruising towards Kochikhali wildlife sanctuary, upon arrival Jungle walk near forest office at Kochikhali. Bar – B – Q dinner and start our boat for Harbaria.

Return to Khulna to Dhaka

Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat, back to the boat for breakfast and go to visit Harbaria, we start to go Khulna. Arrive Khulna at around 6:00 pm and dinner will be served. After dinner disembark from the boat and end tour.
