How to Take a Day Trip to Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas

atlantis adventures tour center

The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island is an entire tropical world unto itself. This Bahamian resort boasts casinos, underwater shark walks, and frolicking dolphins. As one of the most famous hotels in the Bahamas , the Atlantis also boasts multiple hotel towers and specific resort sections to accommodate a wide variety of guests' every wish. But, you don’t need to be a guest at the resort to visit this mega-resort. In fact, millions of visitors to Nassau take a quick taxi or water-shuttle ride to experience the resort's casinos and restaurants. From information on the top attractions to details about how to get there (and which day pass to reserve), read on for your ultimate guide to day-tripping to Atlantis Paradise Island.

Attractions and Things to Do at Atlantis Paradise Island

There are 85 gaming tables, 21 restaurants, and 19 bars and lounges at Atlantis Paradise Island. However, while throwing down some cash on the craps tables or roulette wheel may satisfy some visitors, others—especially families—are drawn to the Atlantis' aquatic allure; specifically the resort's spectacular "lost world" themed water park, dolphin encounter program, beaches, and the underground mysteries of The Dig, a walk-through exploration of the Lost City of Atlantis. Day tickets for all of these activities can be purchased at Discover Atlantis Sales Centers located throughout the property.

Given the hordes of visitors to the Atlantis daily, it's not surprising that the resort limits access to some of these attractions—notably the Aquaventure pool and water park area—to preserve a premier experience for hotel guests. However, that does not mean that day-trippers can't visit the Atlantis attractions, including Aquaventure; you'll have to pay a bit for the privilege (and expect a significant markup on these prices if you buy through a cruise line).

  • Dolphin Cay at Atlantis: Day visitors can swim and play with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins at the state-of-the-art, 14-acre habitat.
  • Discover Atlantis Tour: This tour is best known to day-trippers, in part because it is sold as an excursion on cruise ships. Expert "Navigators" guide visitors through the ancient city streets of Atlantis during a visit to "The Dig," a faux-but-believable archaeological exploration of an 11,000-year-old lost continent. The attraction is full of interesting artifacts, along with great water effects and glimpses of exotic sea life, including piranha, moon jellyfish, venomous lionfish, and a resident manta ray. A Discover Atlantis Tour wristband allows visitors to explore The Dig and its exhibits as well as the Ruins, Predator, and Water’s Edge Lagoons—but not the waterpark.
  • Atlantis Beach Day: The Atlantis Beach Day program provides all-day access to the Atlantis resort's exclusive white sandy beaches, with lounge chairs and towels provided. It also includes access to marine habitats and lunch at an outside venue.
  • Atlantis Aquaventure Package : Day-trippers can purchase an Atlantis Aquaventure package that provides all-day access to pools, beaches, and Aquaventure, a 141-acre waterscape containing over 20 million gallons of water with water slides, and a mile-long river ride with high-intensity rapids and wave surges. The passes are only available to guests staying at partners of the Atlantis Resort. They can be purchased (on a restricted basis) at the Atlantis Adventures Desk at the clock tower in front of The Coral.

How to Get There

Paradise Island (formerly Hog Island) is a 685-acre island off the northern coast of Nassau, the capital of the island of New Providence. There is no public transport to take you to Paradise Island—the local bus system, the "jitney," will only take you as far as the ferry terminal, so your best bet is either to take a ferry or a taxi.

To access Paradise Island by water, hop aboard a 15-minute ferry ride from Nassau to Paradise Island. The ferry departs from Nassau Cruise Port from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and costs $3 for a one-way ticket. On your boat ride to Paradise Island, a guide will also give you a brief history lesson of the island and its many attractions. Once you've arrived on Paradise Island, it's a 10-minute walk from the ferry dock to Marina Village in Atlantis.

If you decide to rent a car, note that there is limited free parking available on Paradise Island (and limited spots are found near the public beach). The best alternative is to valet your vehicle at the cost of $16.75 per day. Whether you're driving or opting for a taxi, be prepared to pay the northbound one-way $1 bridge toll. In taxis, this will be on top of your metered fare—and the average cost for a one-way trip from Lynden Pindling International Airport to Paradise Island is about $35. Another alternative is to be dropped off along the coast of New Providence to walk across the bridge (an activity that is toll-free). Once you've arrived on the island, there's no need to rent a car, as visitors can easily walk the grounds and explore everything the hotel has to offer on foot.

Day passes are mandatory for all non-hotel guests at the Atlantis to experience Dolphin Cay, the waterpark, the marine habitat, and the beaches. The passes can be purchased (on a restricted basis) at the Atlantis Adventures desk, situated at the clock tower at The Coral. These passes have been known to sell out, so it's imperative to book online in advance. World Travel Holdings also sells day passes to Aquaventure, Atlantis Dolphin Cay, and the iconic British Colonial Hilton. These passes are marketed primarily to cruise visitors but can be an excellent add-on for anyone visiting Nassau.

  • The Aquaventure pass includes admission to Aquaventure and The Dig, lounge chairs, and towels.
  • Dolphin Cay experiences include a shallow-water interaction with dolphins.
  • The British Colonial Hilton pass includes all-day access to the resort's pristine private beach and pool, snorkeling and kayaking, lounge chairs and towels, and a food and beverage credit.

Tips for Visitors

  • There's more to Paradise Island than just the Atlantis, so be sure to explore the rest of the island. We suggest hiking to the Nassau lighthouse for gorgeous seaside views along the coast. Of all the waterpark attractions, the underwater shark walk is not to be missed—imagine a turquoise tunnel full of predators. (It's as scary and thrilling as it sounds).
  • There is no visitor information center in Paradise Island, so make sure to consult downtown the tourist information available for visitors in downtown Nassau.
  • If you're planning on staying for dinnertime, make a reservation in advance, as restaurants can become busy, especially in the colder months. Additionally, the resort will limit attractions during the peak busy season to preserve hotel guests' experience—a hindrance that won't be an issue for you if you're visiting during the off-season. If you're visiting in the off-season (summer and fall), expect fewer crowds—for the waterslides and the bars and restaurants, alike.
  • If you're taking the ferry to Paradise Island, remember to bring cash. Although exact change isn't necessary, it's helpful as you will be expected to tip your tour guides, who provide colorful commentary and historical insight into the past and present-day iterations of Nassau and Paradise Island.

Day Trip to Atlantis: 11 Things to Do for Non Guests

How to help with Hurricane Dorian Relief, info featured by top US travel blog, Running in Heels

Atlantis is a beautiful, but heavily guarded place. Located on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas, about five minutes from downtown Nassau, Bahamas. There is security on every corner and every doorway asking for your room key (they’re dated) or your wristband. There are, however, a few places you can go without these things. Of course, Atlantis isn’t known for being a bargain, so nothing is free, but some things you can do without a day pass, though your options are limited. If you are traveling to the Bahamas , I recommend a day trip to visit Atlantis . Below are the top things to do for non-guests!

“Free” Things To Do on a Day Trip to Atlantis – No Day Pass Needed

Atlantis doesn’t do “free” well, so by “free” I really mean, you can enter for free, but it’s assumed you’ll spend money while you are there. Don’t expect to access much of the property. Without a Day Pass, you’ll likely not be able to get past security to see much of the resort. They were very strict about wristbands and room keys (which are dated with your checkout date). The only places you are able to access are the Casino, Marina Village, and the lobby areas. You will not be allowed to go into the resort to view the marine life habitats or outside to the pool areas. Forget about seeing the crystal blue waters at the beach without a pass, so if that is your goal, scroll down and take a look at what you can do with a day pass!

Marina Village

Marina Village is located next to the hotel on the edge of the marina. It is full of colorful shops, restaurants, and street vendors. Though it is open to the public and looks separate, it is an extension of the Atlantis property, so reservations to restaurants will be more difficult to get since guests of the hotel take priority.

Shops available range from Atlantis souvenirs to Rum Cake Vendors, Pirhana Joe, and several luxury jewelry stores.

The Atlantis Casino is open to the public at all times. Of course, everyone can come in and gamble their money away! The casino is truly amazing, with 85 gaming tables and over 700 slot machines. With several restaurants inside, it also features famous glass art sculptures by the renowned artist, Dale Chihuly. Note: Children are not allowed in the casino, and the gambling age in the Bahamas is 18.

Joker’s Wild Comedy Club

For the price of a ticket (around $20-30), you can get into the comedy club, which is open to the public. Every day Joker’s Wild Comedy Club hosts some of “television’s funniest comics”. When we were there we saw Valarie Storm and Johnny Lee Dam .

Go Shopping

Inside Atlantis, there is more shopping. Just outside of the Casino on either side, you’ll find several luxury designer boutiques among additional souvenir shops.

Book a Spa Day

The Mandara Spa is open to the public, so you can book your spa day at Atlantis without being a guest. However, there is limited availability, so book ahead of your trip to secure your spot! Before your service even starts you can enjoy the sauna in addition to warm and cold plunge pools. Click here for details on spa services .

Atlantis Dolphin Cay

Atlantis has its own manmade, open-air dolphin habitat created in response to Hurricane Katrina destroying the habitat of 17 stranded dolphins. During your visit, you can book one of many experiences in the Dolphin Cay ranging from snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, and more with dolphins and sea lions. Here is a list of experiences you may book at the Dolphin Cay . Book ahead, they fill up fast! Every visit benefits the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation , which is dedicated to saving sea species and their habitats.

*When you purchase the Dolphin Cay, you may have the opportunity to bundle it with a Day Pass.

Can You Take Photos in the Dolphin Cay?

If you have someone in your party watching from shore, they will have to pay a small fee (under $20) to get into the beach area as well. There is a free viewing area, but it is too far away for photos for the most part. I’d recommend having them pay to get in, that fee will be much less expensive than the professional photos. If you do love some of the professional photos they take but don’t want a whole package, wait until you get home and download from the website they give you. You can get a single download for half of the price they sell it for in the shop. The professional photographer took the photo below and I think it was worth the cost!

Day Trip to Atlantis for Non Guests

Marine Experiences

In addition to the Dolphin Cay, there are other marine experiences you can sign up for including snorkel, scuba, shark encounters, stingray experiences, and more . We have not had these experiences, but they look incredible! With your purchase of a Marine Experience, you may be able to bundle with a day pass. Additionally, each booked experience with Every Atlantis Adventure and Blue Adventure benefits the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation .

Things To Do on a Day Trip to Atlantis with a Day-Pass

There are several different types of Day-Passes, once purchased, you are good to roam the properties, just as a guest. You can purchase a day pass through the front desk, your cruise line, or online ahead of time. With a Day Pass, you’ll have the same access as resort guests and access to the amenities, restaurants, pools, marine life habitats, and beaches.

Aquaventure Park + Pools

The Aquaventure Park is one of the most notable features of Atlantis, and I think it’s the most fun water park in the Caribbean! There are seven water slides, two rivers, one lazy river, and one rapid river, as well as 11 pools and four private beaches. The beaches are white sand with gorgeous clear blue waters. Cove Beach was one of our favorites!

Marine Habitats

Atlantis is home to the largest open-air marine habitat in the world. Throughout all of Atlantis, there are amazing aquariums and marine life habitats including sharks, manta rays, turtles, dolphins, stingrays, and so many more. As you walk the grounds you can find the habitats and learn about the marine life inside.

An aquarium home to some of the world’s most exotic sea creatures. Fashioned after the lost continent of Atlantis, The Dig features 8 separate exhibits featuring several different fish and marine creatures. In The Dig you might even see their giant manta ray!

Lay on the Private Beach

Private beaches are another benefit of getting a day pass to Atlantis. Chairs, umbrellas, and towels are all available to you to use by the pools and on the beaches. The beaches are uncrowded with white sand and crystal clear waters. I promise the view is something you can’t get sick of!

Marine Habitats: 0:10 The Dig: 1:40 , 5:47 Marina Village: 1:52 , 5:42 Aquaventure Park: 3:40 Private Beach: 6:14 Dolphin Cay: 6:46 Joker’s Wild Comedy Club: 9:00 Casino: 11:53

Looks so fun! I’d love to visit Atlantis!

http://innapishtoy.com/

Thank you! It was such a great time!

Basically you can only visit to Casino as a Non Visitor for free. Otherwise Atlantis has Day pass and always blocked by security. So don’t waste time trying to sneak in.

Yes, definitely was not suggesting anyone try to sneak in. Please purchase your day pass for the necessary activities!

So with a day pass, can one sit on Beach chairs at any of the beaches?

I believe the chairs are free but you would need to reserve and pay for a cabana.

A Day at Atlantis Aquaventure - Paradise Island, Bahamas

Modified: Oct 10, 2018 by Stefanie Fauquet · This post may contain affiliate links · 32 Comments

atlantis day pass paradise island

When you dock at the port of Nassau, Atlantis Resort is hard to miss.

With over 2,300 rooms, 35 restaurants & bars, a casino, and the most awesome water park anywhere, Atlantis is more destination than a resort.

In the past, our cruise stops in Nassau, Bahamas took us to the Straw Market and public beaches. While we saw Atlantis from a distance, it never occurred to us to take a trip over to Paradise Island to experience at least some of the resort. Instead, we bummed around town and had a less than exciting time.

This time was different.

My daughter had been begging me for months to visit Atlantis, and a surprise change in our cruise itinerary had us docking in Nassau for the day. There was only one excursion I would even consider: An Atlantis day pass for Aquaventure Water Park.

Because of our excitement, we tried to get off the boat as early as possible. In our case, it was 8:00 am. We weren't the only ones with Atlantis on our itinerary — the cruise terminal was a madhouse. Our two options to get to Atlantis were: Taxi and Water Taxi. Even with a taxi, it took us an hour from the time we got off the ship until we arrived at Atlantis.

Since this was our first visit to Atlantis, we found navigating the resort to be a little tricky. After some confusion, we picked up our tickets at the Discover Atlantis desk, which is located at the Coral Towers.

Update: Tickets can now be purchased at the Atlantis Adventures Tour Center, located outside Coral Towers, overlooking the Atlantis Marina. Current prices for an Atlantis day pass are  $161.00 for adults and $99 for children 4-12.

No worries though — once we had our wristbands, the day was officially on. We only had a few hours, but we wanted to make the most of them. Atlantis Aquaventure opens at 9:00 am, and the water slides open at 10:00 am. Closing time is 5:00 pm.

The grounds of Atlantis are expansive— just Aquaventure Water Park covers 141 acres!

atlantis aquaventure water park

The path to the water park took us through THE DIG, through a 100-foot tunnel, where we were met with sharks, stingrays, and large fish.

The Dig Atlantis Paradise Island

The theming is unreal.

Atlantis-4

Once outside, we discovered there are eleven pools, seven mega-water slides, and two river rides. Of course, my photos are limited because this is, after all, a water park 😉

Atlantis-6

My favorite water activity was The Current  — a lazy river with some unexpected twists and turns. My daughter loved Splashers , the Mayan-themed kid's water playground with rope bridges, cannons, fountains and water slides. She could have spent all day there.

atlantis splashers water park day pass

We spent a good couple of hours exploring the water attractions before we made our way to Atlantis' private beach.

It was darn near perfect.

atlantis bahamas day pass beach day

The water was crystal clear and calm.  I didn't want to leave.

atlantis day pass beach

By the time we finished with the beach, our day was almost over, and we had to get back on the ship. As much as we tried, we couldn't do everything we wanted... not even a quarter of it.

Atlantis Aquaventure is a multi-day experience . To see and do it all, you need to stay on-site for three or four days. Believe me, once you experience Atlantis for a day, you will want to come back for a longer stay! Even with limited time, my family had a fun-filled day — hopefully next time we can check out the hotel, too 😉

** A few years after visiting Atlantis on a day pass, my daughter and I flew to Nassau for a mother-daughter weekend in the Caribbean. We stayed at Comfort Suites Paradise Island and had access to Atlantis Aquaventure for the duration of our trip— It was incredible! You can view our experience here .

atlantis day pass experience paradise island bahamas

A note about Atlantis Day Passes: Passes may be purchased by day visitors, but availability is limited – and may be closed – during periods of high resort occupancy. Most cruise lines sell excursions to Atlantis, and this is your best bet if only spending the day in Nassau. Admission to Atlantis Aquaventure is complimentary to all guests staying at Atlantis Resort.

Special thanks to Atlantis Resort for providing my family with complimentary Atlantis day passes. All opinions are my own.

What an awesome day you guys had! Atlantis looks like so much fun!

We thought about buying a day pass to Atlantis during our last cruise, but didn't do it because my friend was pregnant and wouldn't have been able to enjoy the slides. Next time, though, we will definitely go that route!

Thank you so much for this helpful information!!!

Complimentary Passes? lol! No wonder such a glowing report! I walked though the place once last year just to see it. I'm sure they made sure you were there not during a rush time when there's no chairs together, long lines for water rides, no lockers left. Everything there is so expensive too ($9.00 slice of pizza) If your into "Disneyesque" overly landscaped crowded theme resorts, have at it. Save your money, there are plenty of really lovely public beaches to choose from surrounded by natural landscape and not half as annoying.

May 12, 2012 at 4:32 pm

Hey Robin-- I did receive complimentary passes, but that in no way influenced this post-- if I didn't like something, I would have said it! I didn't receive any special treatment and entered the park along with everyone else. We did find chairs, but found we didn't use them much and instead wandered around for the day doing the slides and beach. I supposed I am into “Disneyesque” landscape because I loved the whole resort. I've been to Nassau numerous times and this was by far the best time we had.

July 01, 2012 at 4:30 pm

Enjoyed your post. How did you manage to get complimentary passes? I will be going on a cruise in Nov and plan to go to Atlantis on Nov 11 (Sunday) However, I fear passes could sell out for the water park because of crowds. I am a little nervous of this fact but of course the pass would be for all day instead of just a few hours with the exclusion offers. Any thoughts or suggestions? How many hours total did you spend that day at Atlantis? Thanks, for the information 🙂

July 01, 2012 at 4:44 pm

Hi Maria -- I received media passes in exchange for writing about my experience. We spent a full afternoon there, I want to say from 9:00am until 3:00pm. As long as you get off the ship early, you shouldn't have a problem getting passes at Atlantis-- especially in November. Purchasing through the cruise line will guarantee you space and transportation though.

We will be in Nassau Monday, February 11th. A stop on our Canival cruise. We so badly want to visit Atlantis' Aquaventure, but tickets purchased through the cruise are 472.00 for our family of 4... We will have to leave the resort by 1:00 p.m. to make outback to the ship which will deport Nassau at 2:00 p.m. Any suggestions on how to get a discount on these tickets? Our girls, 9 and 6 would only have 3 hours on the water slides, and that's only if we don't make them break for lunch. Any/ all help you can offer would be much appreciated!

February 10, 2013 at 12:44 pm

Does anyone know the full day water park pass prices? i hear they also can change with the seasons. Just looking to get an idea of prices. Thanks

August 14, 2019 at 11:19 am

We are planning a cruise with our 1 1/2 yr old in October to Nassau. Atlantis is a top pick for an excursion for us, but we haven’t decided. Do you recommend going there with a 1 yr old or should we stick to something more simple like a beach? We will on be in Nassau for one day and I want to get my best experience. Most likely we will return for a longer stay another time.

Stefanie Fauquet

August 15, 2019 at 7:56 am

That's really hard to answer. If money isn't an isssue it's a nice day even with a baby. They have a small private beach that's lovely and you can walk around the aquariums, grab something to eat. There's the kids play area as well. The setting is also more secure than a public beach, though you could get a day pass from another hotel in Nassau.

November 02, 2019 at 12:35 pm

Question about your Comfort Inn stay. Do they always honor those passes once room is reserved? I’m worried we may not get in water park during busy time with Comfort Inn passes

One-of-a-kind adventure for sure! The shuttle boat takes you to the submarine boat, where everyone gets their own window to see the ocean floor through. Super cool experience, awesome to see the sunken ship, and the tour guide was very personable!

Superb experience with a great guide. Best way to see the Aruban sealife without getting wet. Boat was clean and well maintained.

This was a fun excursion to do! Doesn’t take all day. Take a ferry out to the reef and ship. Pretty cool sites under the water. Fish, turtles, and of course the shipwreck. Angie our guide was AWESOME! Very knowledgeable about the ship and Aruba itself! Worth the $$

Was very relaxing and beautiful. The tour guide was friendly and very informative. Loved seeing the turtle and tropical fish. The sunken ship was very cool.

This is an amazing trip! It is not scary, you are sitting in a seat looking out the window under the sea. The sea floor is surreal, like a moonscape. We saw a lot of corals, sponges, fish, and a sea turtle. The narration is informative and humorous, and they keep your safety in mind.

Remarkable experience. Loved every second of the trip. All staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. I saw a lot of tropical fish & a couple sunken ships. The trip was well worth the money.

A Wheelchair User’s Guide to Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas

The first thing that most visitors to Nassau see when approaching the Bahamas island of New Providence is a huge coral-pink resort complex dominating the skyline. With it’s beautiful arched central towers and crystal-clear beaches, the Atlantis Paradise Island resort is arguably the biggest tourist draw in the Bahamas. Visitors can spend the day there during a cruise ship shore excursion (as I did with my family on a Disney cruise in July 2018 ), or fly to Nassau and book an entire vacation package for as long as they like. The best part about Atlantis Paradise Island is that most of the resort is wheelchair accessible, and offers great opportunities for wheelchair users to enjoy it’s many luxurious Caribbean features. Here is my guide to how wheelchair users can make the most of their visit to Atlantis Paradise Island.

atlantis adventures tour center

Getting to Atlantis Paradise Island

Like many resorts, The Atlantis offers a variety of shuttle services to the main island, including an accessible van. However, it costs $288 roundtrip for the accessible van shuttle from the airport. It does include transport for up to eight adults, but that may be a deal-breaker for many. There are only three wheelchair accessible vans between Nassau and Paradise Island, and rarely are all of them operational at the same time. Additionally, the demand for accessible vans can be huge when cruise ships arrive. If you need a wheelchair accessible van in Nassau, be sure to book it weeks or months in advance.

Cruise ship passengers may get a better deal if they book an accessible Atlantis shore excursion through their cruise line that includes round-trip transportation. For example, Royal Caribbean states the following for an accessible Aquarium shore excursion: “Guests who require accessible transportation with ramp or lift are recommended to book tour in advance of the cruise in order to secure equipment. Accessible transportation may be at an additional cost. Guest interested in this tour must contact in advance of the cruise the Shore Excursion Access Department at [email protected] to review full details on this tour and accessible transportation availability.”

Getting Around the Resort

To say that Atlantis Paradise Island is huge would be a gross understatement. The numbers on Atlantis are staggering — more than 2,300 hotel rooms, 20 million gallons of water devoted to pools, watersides, rivers, and other aquatic attractions in a 140-acre watermark, 21 restaurants, 19 bars, and a casino with 90 table games and more than 850 slot machines. The entire resort covers one square mile, and while there is a complimentary shuttle to transport guests around the complex, it’s not wheelchair accessible. Paradise Island is also hilly, so there are some decent inclines/declines around the property. All routes are paved with curb drops, but make sure your battery is charged every day, and that you give yourself plenty of time to get from place to place.

The Hotel Complex

Atlantis Paradise Island is a huge resort with six different buildings to accommodate guests. The Cove is elegantly situated between Cove and Paradise Beaches creating the feeling of being cast away on a private, white-sand sanctuary. The Royal is iconic and most reflective of the myth of Atlantis, featuring grand architecture, artwork and design. The newly renovated Coral is dedicated to multigenerational family fun. Their most accessibly priced accommodations, The Beach offers casual,  come-as-you-are beachfront and garden facing rooms. The Reef offers luxury, residential-style studios and suites offering vacationers all the comforts of home, with the service and experience of a magnificent resort. Harborside Resort features spacious residential-style villas, offering guests kitchens or kitchenettes, creating a casual, home-away-from-home feeling.

Almost completely wheelchair accessible, Atlantis offers wheelchair friendly accommodations on a limited basis. The resort currently has 30 accessible rooms (12 are located in the Royal Towers, with others in the Coral, Reef, and Cove) with safety bars, lowered sinks and many offer roll-in showers. If you are interested in booking an accessible room, please contact Atlantis at  242-363-3000  so they can verify availability and secure the room in advance.

Atlantis is not an all-inclusive Resort; it is a full service Resort. As an overnight guest, you have full access to all Atlantis water park features at no additional cost. Included are 11 swimming areas, 11 water slides, two Lazy River Rides, the Paradise Lagoon, The Dig, the Predator’s Lagoon, all of the marine life habitats, and the ocean beach area. Beach towels are provided daily at no charge once within the water park. All other Atlantis services such as the Mandara Spa, the Comedy Club and our Business Center, are optional for a nominal fee.

The Dig: Visitors can experience the lost city of Atlantis as they view mythical artefacts and over 20,000 marine animals in this incredible 2.7 million-gallon exhibit. The Beaches

Cove Beach is a natural beach that offers sunbathing and swimming. To access Cove Beach, use The Cove outdoor pathways, which are flat grade and go directly to beach. The Pools and Water Park

Wheelchairs are allowed on the pool decks, but not in the water. Beach wheelchairs are available for transfer into the water. The Baths Colonnade and Mayan Temple free-form pools feature rock structures, hieroglyphics and 750,000 gallons of water each. To access these pools, use the Royal Towers outdoor pathways. These zero-entry pools have a maximum depth of 5 feet. Large hieroglyphics and rock structures adorn the Cascades pool that is surrounded by 2.5 acres of sundecks. To access the Cascades pool, use The Cove outdoor pathways. This zero-entry pool gradually deepens to 5 feet. The Lazy River pool connects to the Lazy River Ride and features waterfalls and an ocean view. To access this pool, use the Beach Tower outdoor pathways. This zero-entry pool gradually deepens to 4 ft 4 in.
