I don't know why I waited so long to do one of their tours! Girls' weekend at Atlantic Beach. One person had done one of the tours previously and loved it. We did the Bike, Brunch and Bubbles tour on Sunday, and it was a blast. Food was excellent (Beaufort Grocery). Betsy led our tour and was so much fun and knew so much about Beaufort. She and her husband own the business and offer several different tours and will even customize one for you. Can't wait to go back for the Nicholas Sparks tour!

Great experience and the owners really care. The bikes are in great shape and each bike has a unique name (see my picture). The rates are very reasonable at $5 per hour for a two hour minimum. Beaufort is small and so we were able to ride around the whole town in two hours. We didn't do a guided tour but next time we will since we aren't from the area.

Relaxed and informative! My husband and I took the culinary bike tour, although there are several different kinds of tours available. Owners and tour guides Betsy and David LOVE what they do, and it shows from the moment you arrive. Being a petite gal with even shorter legs, I'm always a little trepidatious and resigned to the fact that rented bikes will be a bit too big for me. Not so here! Betsy not only had a stylish and well-maintained bike available for a lady of my size, but also made sure both of us were comfortable on our rides with a quick test run through the side parking lot before embarking on the tour. Ahhhh.... We went to 5 culinary stops total, and it was clear the storeowners, staff, and townspeople had a familiar and positive relationship with the company. Betsy is a wealth of knowledge, and we loved the personalized feel of the whole tour, from learning about Beaufort's past and present to just enjoying the views from the gorgeous decks of some of the restaurants. And riding bikes in the neighborhood while getting a history lesson is a great way to spend an afternoon, indeed!

What a way to explore Beaufort. We booked our private tour on our first full day in Beaufort. They were great and worked with our schedule. We learned so much about the history of the town and the awesome architecture of the houses. We loved it. Was the perfect way to start off our weekend. And the owners were so great and gave us all the info on local places to dine and other things to do too. Really can't say enough!

Betsy cannot be nicer, more informative and fun! Our tour was 8 family members all female! Our bike tour day was raining at first, we walked to our destinations (with shopping in between). Each culinary stop was greeted by friendly faces, great food and stories of the island. As the eating went on, the sun came out & Betsy loaded us on our bikes. Very manageable ride. If my travels bring me back to NC I will certainly go again! You won't be disappointed

I've been spending time every summer on the Crystal Coast for over 30 years and visit Beaufort yearly. Today we took the Culinary Bike Tour with Betsy and had a terrific experience! Not only did we enjoy some of the best eats in town, but we learned tons as we cruised the backstreets stopping often at points of interest while Betsy gave us historical info and local lore. Great for couples and families with children. Well worth the price too.

This was without a doubt one of the best things my sisters and I did on our vacation. They offer a walking tour but we took their culinary bike tour. The owner and tour guide, Betsy, is awesome! She is so friendly, knowledgeable, and informative! It felt like we were with a longtime friend! Her choices of restaurants for us to have our food was superb! The food was fresh and delicious! The views from the restaurants were great! Betsy was greeted with great admiration from everyone everywhere we went and was treated warmly like a friend! She made each stop a great experience and made sure we were completely satisfied! I would love to do this tour with her again sometime. If you're looking for a different kind of tour with a great outcome and a wonderful tour guide, I highly recommend calling Hungry Town Tours and making a reservation! You will be so pleased! We had a group of 6 take the historic Beaufort bike tour with Hungry Town Tours. We had a GREAT experience. The owners/tour guide was very knowledgable, friendly, and professional. The bikes are in great condition and very comfortable to ride. This is one of the best bike tours I've taken of all the places I've been. The tour is very interesting and done at a nice comfortable pace. The owner can also make some great reccomendations for things to do and places to eat. They also do a culinary tour so their food recommendation are probably very reliable.

This is the best way to see the famous and not-so famous historical places in Beaufort. The tours are informative yet laid back. The staff are personable and make every effort to see that you have a good quality time. We will definitely do future tours only with Hungry Town Tours!

Our bike tour was a fantastic way to see and learn about the city of Beaufort! We enjoyed Betsy and Mark's company immensely. Our culinary&history tour left us full and happy. We visited 5 unique restaurants/shops along the waterfront as well as a short tour of the historic neighborhood off the shore. Adorable beach bikes too. Thank you Betsy!!
